Chuck's Foot Support: what do users think?
Michael F. Barile: TLC for my NAOTs. Thank you!
caroline Dykehouse (sassielady0564): I have been very happy with the work that they have done. From re-dying a favorite pair of shoes to repair.
Sarah Hodges: I had a pair of brand new Birkenstock’s repaired here and I could not expect a better result. I’m so satisfied with the outcome of the sandal. I had just bought these $110 Birk sandals for my daughter when less than a week later our puppy chewed right threw the strap. My daughter was so upset. I tried contacting the Birkenstock company to see if they had anywhere I could go to get it repaired and they only offered somewhere out of state (I guess it was the only authorized Birkenstock’s repair place close to me) but essentially they couldn’t help us. I happened to see Chuck’s and that they did shoe repair and gave it a shot. I’m so glad I did! $10 to save $110 sandals. I’m so impressed with the quality of their work! The strap was jagged from the puppy tearing threw it and now you can hardly notice! Thank you Chuck’s! 10/10!
Rob Walters: Thank you for all the information you gave me
Jesse Holt: I would like to patronize this place but they don't have convenient hours, I'm sorry but 9 to 5 during the week is just simply short-sighted in this time. Especially for a place that sells work shoes, y'know, the things I wear but want to replace because I'm working 8 to 5 every weekday. Didn't want to, but I'll probably be going to Red Wing now since they seem to understand their customer base also has things to do during the day.
Michelle Houser: Quality work at a great price!!
Jo Decker: Fast and great service.. so thankful to have my 18 yr old orthotics recovered
dave webb: Do good job on fixing and refurbishing your shoes
Debbie Stolzenbach: I went to Famous Hair and they did what I asked for and reasonably price. I will return.
Elizabeth Lindsay: Wonderful customer service and great work. I appreciate them putting the health and well-being of their clients at the forefront. I look forward to taking all my future shoe repairs to them.
Bunker Pressler: He can do anything!! Old fashioned personal service.
Deborah Peel: Chuck does great work! I've had straps that were difficult to fasten changed to an easier solution, and it was flawless! I've also had new heels put on several pairs of boots, and other miscellaneous work done. Prices are reasonable and work is ready when promised. I highly recommend!
Michael Myers II: Curt, inhospitable, and disinterested in customer needs/wishes. They have the gall and/or lack of self awareness to disparage their own prior work. Don't use them if you would like a simple fix for your shoes as you will be met with a terse interrogation.
Barbara Horton: Great work, expensive!
Daniel John Dombek: If you like being told that the shoes you've brought in for repair are the worst possible shoes you could have purchased...for 15 minutes...then this is the place for you. Ridiculously rude and arrogant. Never been back.
Grinch XIV: Rude and discrimtive. They basically just wanted me to leave as soon as I walked in
Keith Hedrick: Chuck seems to find a way to solve my problems- with prescribed orthopedic boot!
mark sylvester: Excellent experience with owner in selection of shoe in certs.
Bob Hershberger: While working for an orthopedic and prosthetic company, I've used Chuck many times to customize Footwear needed by "said" patients ..
Joe Oliver: Great great service and the quality of the repairs on my boots were better than new!!!
Carol Fahrenbach: Gone there many times they do great work. Female employee needs to work on her people skills condescending.

Fred Toenges Footwear & Pedorthics: what do users think?
Wayne Bilbrey: Absolute horrible experience, sat for over an hour and when the lady finally got to my number she measured me and said oh my and went to the back only to come back with 2 pairs and said this was all she had. Neither pair fit and she said sorry we can't help you... I thought this was THE place for people with hard to fit feet.
Rick Horther: Who ever heard of a NO RETURN policy if you buy a pair of nurses shoes as a gift and they don't fit?...
Stella Blue: They should keep someone on staff who can grab shoes quickly without sitting down and helping you. I understand the service they are trying to give but it honestly makes them lose customers who already know what they want but just need help getting their size. Not everyone can sit in a store for 30mins to an hour until we are served
Joseph DeRosa: Max in pedorthics is a legend.
Alexander B.: The shoes are pretty good, even if over priced (especially the better ones). Beware of NO RETURN policy. Staff did not seem to be very knowledgeable but that's just my personal impression.
Clare Patano: Unfortunately, the owner has implemented an "all sales are final" policy. No returns and no exchanges. Other stores selling many of the same brands offer returns and,/or exchanges. Some up to 60 days. I spent $130 on shoes that felt good in the store, but hurt later in my breaking in process. I'm just out that amount. But I found a more customer oriented store that allows returns .
Adam Grimme: We had great service! Kelly was great helping us with getting custom insoles.
Norm King: Great shoes but it take 30 to 45 minutes to get waited on. Poor customer service.
Aaron Nichols: When you're slow and short staffed.. lets limit the life stories with customers.. Waiting and having time consuming conversations..not appreciated.
Josh Adams: Got helped by Kelly to get fitted for new running/workout shoes. She did a wonderful job and listened to what I was looking for. Found a wonderful pair of HOKA Bondi 8s, in all black so I can wear them for work as well. Great first responder discount, and great service overall. Will definitely be back when these wear out.
Joe Sands: We went to get custom Orthotics for my wife. Willie was simply amazing in his knowledge, customer service, care and professionalism!! Highly recommend!!
Bob Turner: Got shoes for my wife & older daughter yesterday. The lady who waited on use was knowledgeable & very helpful. She completely understood our daughter's needs & had several very good suggestions that worked out well.
Josh J: Went in to be measured for shoes, they were able to find a better fit for me. Probably 20 minute wait to be helped, but if you want to be sure your shoes fit correctly its absolutely worth the wait. Pricing was competitive, they have lots to choose from!
Jaqueline Brown: Was very happy with our experience
Linsey H: Not the same service as when they were on Hobson. I tried on a shoe in the exact style I already owned and said it was too big. The sales person refused to get a smaller size. She TOLD me there was no way a smaller size would fit. When I explained that I owned this exact shoe in a smaller size (which I had bought from Toenges), she told me that they must be terribly uncomfortable and must cut into my skin. Since she refused to give me the size I needed, I left empty-handed. I emailed Fred Toenges about this experience and they did not respond.
JR Ray: Finally found a place where they carry shoes for extra width and care. I got EEEE. Be prepared for an experience. About 30-45 minute experience.. WONDERFUL PEOPLE.
Sherry Compton: We always send my husbands shoes here to get a 2" lift on his left shoe. We recently sent them a Croc shoe to use inside the house as slippers. This shoe is life changing for him. No more putting his shoes on to get around inside the house. Just slip on and go. Thanks so much to the employee that made this shoe for him and making his life simpler🙂 You made our day!
Wanda Couture: Staff very helpful. No too thrilled with the No Return policy. The shoes felt great in store. Not so great at work. So now I'm stuck with a $170 pair of shoes, that I can not wear!
Jonathan Shirazi: If you value your time, it is probably best to go elsewhere. If you have all the time in the world, the staff are nice.I waited 57 minutes exactly, before I was helped. They have an old-school "take a number" system. I took my number, looked around, sat down, answered emails, and then waited and waited.I knew exactly what shoes I wanted to try on; in fact they are just the newer models of the ones I have already worn out. After 57 minutes, I was finally helped. I was measured, and I listed off 4 models of shoes that I would be happy to take home. They had none of the shoes in my size, or even a half size up. The employee brought out a couple of other brands in a full size larger - which is exactly what a good employee should do. It is not the employee's fault at all. However, I expect a better system than what is currently implemented. It is tough to waste an hour of your day to obtain information that could be communicated in a minute or less.
Bass Man: Very professional and helpful!
Chris Saylor: I'm pretty hard to fit when it comes to shoes, so I've been coming to Fred Toenges for over 40 years, I think Mom still has that first pair somewhere back home. Today I went in and managed to find the type of shoe I've been looking for for a very long time and nearly decided to have custom made.I worked with Ellen this time who found a pair that was very close to what I needed but not quite there. This being Fred Toenges, instead of giving up I asked if we could find a way to make them work. Ellen came back with the perfect solution, one of their huge variety of in-stock insoles, on the first try.Even if you wear a pretty common size, it's a good idea to stop in for the service, and the prices are pretty good too. While they have a nice selection out on display, my favorite way to shop there is to tell a sales person what I'm looking for first. They'll measure my foot, then go off to find all of the options they have and bring them back to me to try on. That's a lot better method than the normal department store experience, wasting my time poking around in shelves and shelves of boxes hoping the shoe inside matches the label outside when I find something I want to try on.Thank you!
