D “Just another reviewer” S: I was interviewed for an office job at Lutheran Social Services four or five years' ago and when one of the interviewers thought I wasn't looking, he proceeded to shake his head and make the "cut-throat" gesture to his fellow coworker (another interviewer). Tacky and rude. He could have at least waited until I left the interview room.

Brittany Gumbert: Tons of cancellations by counselors. Attempted to take my children 2 different lengths of time. 2020 and 2021. Waiting to get in is crazy expect about a month or 2 before you can be seen. I scheduled MONTHS out so my kids would have a spot. Every single appointment one kids was cancelled. So we gave it a break for about 6 months and attempted it again. This time my kids had Jarvis and Danica. They were PERFECT fits for my kids so we were very optimistic and excited. Guess what!? Cancellations every single time. Its really sad honestly. Personally my kids major reason for needing therapy was due to some very inconsistent times they were experiencing. It DOES NOT help when their own couselors arent consistent either. Very disappointing.

Amber Minton: I made an appointment with a counselor for my daughter. We had to wait to months for the appointment, then the day before they canceled it and couldn't get her in for another 2 months! I now had to look else where for a counselor.

Colin Clifton: Grant, a counselor there is very untrustworthy. Do not believe anything these people tell you about the costs.Makes you wonder if the counselor is dishonest if this is about helping people or making the money.So far it seems to be a money pit endorsed by the probation department!

Guess MyName: Absolute joke doesn’t really care about your family just that they get clients and keep them there as long as possible. The counselors are terrible as well they gave one of children some new guy (Jarome, Jared, or Jarvis something like that) who barely knows his A$$ from a hole in the ground and Leah Sebby who is more than willing to “play along” with whatever the supervisor says to do regardless of what she hears. Which brings me to my next point Amy Cook “the supervisor” is a self important waste of space that involves herself well beyond what she should, both counselors wanted to dismiss my kids and yet she demanded that they continue my guess is so they could keep their client base. They don’t communicate even if it’s initiated and beware she will act like she understands and is unbiased and immediately switch sides if she thinks the money might stop flowing in. The short version is this place is all about the funding and could careless how they get it. If they are recommended request someone else and anyone that endorsed them rest assured someone on the other side was getting screwed.
