GAME DAY SPORTS CAMP: what do users think?
Brittany Howard: My boys have been to many different camps over the years, this is BY FAR the best experience they've ever had. They didn't want to leave when it was time to get picked up and every night they asked if they were going again in the morning! I highly recommend it
Val WX: We love Game Day Sports! I feel they are safe and content when they are. They enjoy themselves and have made great friends. Ron and Reesha are hands on and care. We have gone for two summers and will be back this year.
amanda kessens: My family has had a great experience with Game Day Sports Camp. The Howard's are a wonderful family and they treat the camp kids like family! I am so glad I decided to go with Game Day Sports Camp. Ron and Reesha are very supportive of their camp kids all year long. It's not just sports there is plenty for your non sports lover to do. Meeting the Howard's and their family is the best part.
Katie Eubank: I cannot say enough good things about Game Day Sports Camp. Summer 2019 will be my sons 4th year attending this camp. The owners are absolutely amazing. They will protect your child as their own and the camp counselors are positive role models.
Kelly Hey Miller: My child LOVED going to GDSC and looked forward to it for months. Reesha and Ron care for the camp kids like their own family and the staff is fun and engaged.
Tabitha Ervin: This camp is run lovingly by a family who cares about your kids as much as they care about their own! They are trustworthy, kind and fun! My daughter has participated with their youngest daughter in summer camp as well as the NYE overnight camp and has made lifelong friends! I appreciate the love and care shown by Ron and Reesha along with their staff!
Misty Kessens: My kids have went here for 3 years and love it! Great place!

Camp Red Cedar: what do users think?
Jeff Rice: I bartended a wedding here. It is an awesome venue
Natalie Waite: Went to a wedding reception here and it was really cool....
Chris Restivo: There for a wedding... It was awesome! Highly recommended!
Myles Gerardot: Amazing place to hold an event. The setting is stunning. The only way to make it better is to add fountains in the ponds and light them up in the evenings. Oh, snow peeked mountains would be nice but we are in northeren Indiana...lol
Randy Alomar: Awesome venue for a wedding!!!!
Molly Rao: Absolutely gorgeous and so many great programs
Brianna Goldsmith: Very nice and clean park
Tammy Jones: Wonderful! Such a beautiful camp!!!!
Dana B: Best camp for all kids—neurotypical and neurodiverse!! Beautiful, clean, amazing staff, and so many enjoyable activities for kids!!
The Awesome Kids: My daughter loves horse camp. They go above and beyond for all kids.
Cathy Wilson: Great camp with great staff!!!! They also have beautiful facilities!
Carolyn Schaadt: Amazing!!
Odie Culver: If I could give it zero stars right now, I would........
Arthur Wenzel: Excellent updated facilities. Must see to believe. Summer day camp or week long camps are available. Horse lovers will enjoy this place.
bryce fox: Had never been here. Pretty cool place to visit.
Jenn MacDonald: The employees were so helpful with our homeschool field trip. Our class is reading the Narnia series and once we started A Horse and His Boy, we knew we needed a horse field trip.Camp Red Cedar was so accommodating with our group. They had enough employees to exactly accommodate our group. The kids who wanted were able to pet and brush the horses. Some of the kids wanted to ride and some didn't.We were hoping for a bunch of educational information and had prepared for it. Instead the field trip focused on riding more than the horses themselves. Other than that, it was great!Thank you for an enjoyable field trip, Red Cedar. One mom’s comments:“It was amazing, thank you. My son went into the trip slightly apprehensive, but he ended up loving it and now he *needs* a horse. 😉 Horses were the bond that my dad and I shared, and as soon as I stepped into the barn and smelled the wonderful barn smells, it took me back. At one point I had tears streaming down my face. (I'm getting emotional again, I guess I'm hormonal today.) Beautiful memories, sad thoughts, unfulfilled longings. Thank you for that.”
Zach Rice: Wonderfull place with a great mission!!
Will G: Great place and super nice to folks with disabilities!! They have steller facilities too. Honestly a top notch organization.
Sandra Barrand: It could have been a bit more organized so that getting in was a bit quicker.Over all this was a fun event
Brenda Vaught: Very disappointed with the egg drop!!! No organization and alot of kids went home crying!!! My kids didn't even get one egg!! Will not recommend anyone going to this!!!
Teresa Vardaman: We Love Camp Red Cedar

Jorgensen Family YMCA: what do users think?
Michael Snively: I run here on the track and my children do swimming lessons here. Some of the reviews that complain about other patrons not being talkative and rude baffle me. I'm not there to talk to you. I'm there to run. Why are you going to a gym to talk to people?Track is nice and long (other Ys will have many more laps per mile, this is 8 laps per mile) and mostly people follow the rules. Only ever completely smashed into one person who decide to step into the running lane with no warning.Swimming lessons are good too, no complaints.I read through many of the critical comments and disregarded many, but I could definitely see the summer camps being a drag. I see the kids while I run and they don't look like they're having the times of their lives.
Nick McLay: I have been a member on and off here for a good 20 years. I have been working out extensively for the past six months on a near daily basis. The facility is quite nice. The equipment is decent but most of it is showing severe signs of age. Having said that, the employees are pretty much silent. I’ve never even been greeted when I come in. I have never been offered assistance of any kind. When I have asked for assistance I usually get a blank stare with some sort of statement about how that’s not that person’s job or they don’t know. The other patrons are also pretty much silent also. There is no real communication anywhere here. A lot of attitude. If you walk in and the place is packed with middle school and high school kids you might as well just turn around and leave. Also, Jorgensen Y has been increasing their prices exponentially for quite a long time and I feel it has gone quite far beyond the value proposition I would expect. I have some workout equipment at home and I just spent another few hundred dollars to round out my equipment so I can work out from home. I’ll be canceling my membership again because the value proposition just isn’t there for me.
Lisa Hoekje: Outdoor pool accessibility has been horrible this year. Poor communication about required pool reservations, between each session guests have to stand in line and wait on the sidewalk and pavement in the heat for up to 15 minutes even when there are less than 30 guests at the pool in the session prior. And most disappointing of all they have essentially closed for the last two weeks of summer due to staffing shortages.
E M: Very beautiful facility BUT I felt so uncomfortable there, people were very rude unwelcoming and it showed we walked the track and I spoke to almost everyone I saw and no one replied not a one, it was so unsettling. I wanted to bring my whole family but decided to check out our first and I'm glad I did because this place is not a family friendly place at all. So disappointed ALSO we went to the pool it said pool closed but there were people swimming in the pool we asked how was the pool closed and there were people in there and we were ignored. I guess only certain people were allowed in the pool but there were young and old people swimming. The people there are rude to only us because we weren't "their kind of people" it was sad to know there are people in this world that are so hateful and immature.
Erik S: Great facility for the most part. Only thing that bothers me is the hours. Hours are limited especially on weekends.
Monica Zacarias: Clean area, friendly and professional staff, great atmosphere overall
Evelyn B: 4-20-22 I dropped my kids off to go workout. It was around 6:40-7:55. I am really displeased by the child care room tonight. My 2 year old son didn’t make it to the bathroom in time & wet his pants. No one notified me. Instead of calling me they just let him walk around in soaking wet bottoms. I asked my oldest who is 9 how long had he been wet and she said for a while. Why wouldn’t the staff let me know? That the reason they want to know where I’m at and my phone number just in case anything happens right? Not only is that lazy but also shows they just didn’t care! The pants were light color so of course his wet pants were very noticeable. Then what makes it worse the same child watcher snatches a toy from my 2 year old as he was leaving. She didn’t nicely ask for they toy, she just snatched it out of his hands. I live right behind Jorgensen but I always go to Lehman. Lehman has never treated my son so poorly. Management should really talk to their staff. It was disgusting to know my child was treated so poorly.
Wecoolin 23: Playing basketball and hanging out with friends is great here!!
Stee Weaver: I've never had an issue here until today which appeared to be after school. Usually a great place to work out in relative peace. I ran track today and almost plastered a kid who was going the wrong way. Right when I got up to the track I was met with loud f bombs and kids hitting each other, security doors triggering, etc. Seriously the volume hurt my ears. I'm all about kids being kids, but I want to work out not go through bs. It appears teens and kids just get dropped off for babysitting like the old malls as it's "safe." Whatever, I'll prolly just make sure to go in the morning to be able to work out without fear of kids running into me. No one says anything, so I said something both to the kids and the staff.
Azhar Iqbal: This place is amazing when I came here for signup juliana helped me get membership. Juliana was very help and kind lady.
Casey Wright: I went here tonight/while technically yesterday and it was awesome I love everything about this place. So exciting!!!! They have everything. This is the Best YMCA in Fort Wayne!!!! This Ymca💙 has plenty of space to workout💪🏻🏋🏼‍♀️💫 in and there is everything to do!!!! Very nice and clean. The atmosphere is just beautiful and luxurious💗 and lots or space. Amazing place❣ and friendly staff!!!!Will be back again!!!! The only Ymca💙 I want to go to now!!!! 5 Stars⭐
kyle weese: I wore slip ons in the weight area because I wanted to do deadlifts in socks. Two employees got very angry with me and one of them threatened to call the police if I didn't leave... because I did my back exercises in what they think are the wrong shoes. This place is a joke.I've been lifting here for years and never had an issue wearing slip ons. The parkview ymca is way better. The steam room, sauna, weights, and pool is higher quality there. And the employees are nice there and greet with a smile.
Gayle Stuhrberg: Beautiful facility, well maintained, staff is pleasant and helpful.
Zach !: I have a lot of fun usually going too the outdoor pool especially the slide but whenever I go there it’s usually just for that reason I would rate it 5 stars if the weather wasn’t so crazy most of the time
Sarah Kosinski: We have been members for a year. We have not once seen the indoor slide at the pool open. I personally have never seen the big slide open at the outdoor pool. We joined for our children, and as this being a main amenity for them, it's very misleading and disappointing to see that what was told to us, is not accurate.Additionally, My son attended a weekday summer camp (m-f) and was so miserable that week that I canceled our remaining camps. They never did anything they said they were going to do, a ton of sitting around and missed multiple pool sessions because of lack of planning on the counselors part.
Julie Korpilahti: Nice place. Fun for the kids. Suggestion on the seating in the shade. What about a sign that says "PLEASE. Don't reserve chairs in the shade unless ALL guests are also sitting in the shade and not swimming" There was only 2 umbrellas, and all chairs were reserved with towels, but not a single person sitting. I get burned easy, and needed a shade spot.
Jonathan Derr: My son has been playing basketball through the youth program at the Jorgensen Y for years and always had a great experience. However, this particular season is terribly unorganized. The basketball game is much more physical than it should be for a group of 6-8 year old's and the ref was more interested playing on his phone than watching the game. Whoever is running the program changed the times of the last 3 or 4 games of the season and as a result we will miss the remaining games due to scheduling conflicts. We've definitely noticed a difference in the organization of the program this year. This season has been disappointing.
Nelson M: Landmark reviewWe come here weekly for my son's swim classes and the parking situation is crazy. There is usually no parking at all and if the adjacent park is closed for the season I have no idea where you are suppose to put your car. This is the one major downside of this location. The facility themselves are quite clean albiet crowded at times on the weekend. There isn't too many places to sit down and wait for your kids to finish class. The pool itself is also smaller than other pools we have been to at other YMCA in Illinois. Overall I am happy we have not gotten a YMCA membership as it is not cheap and I can only imagine how it continues to be very crowded during the course of the week.
Gabrielle Ellis: Our family loves the YMCA! A membership is a must have for any family looking to stay fit and be involved w the community.
Tri Nguyen: I love this YMCA it’s new and very clean . But why they don’t build big door for the men shower room ? I think it will be better small private room because afternoon everyday they have too many younger kids run around there without the parents ... they pulling down plastic shower door make them broken a lot .
Victor Correa: I enjoy working out at Jorgensen, Ive had issues in the past, but they have been resolved right away. The staff and the trainers are awesome.

Renaissance Pointe YMCA: what do users think?
Jessica Aleman: My favorite Y in town! They have newer ellipticals and stair masters and the hottest sauna! The staff at this one is also so kind and the facilities and kept so clean and maintained. We love going to the Y!
Maria Cotton: We literally are family
Momo Pax: I love this place. However, today around 18:30 I went for a swim and was only greeted with complete and utter chaos.•Young children screaming, swimming sideways in the LAP section of the pool interrupting adults trying to swim laps.•The lifeguard? Straight chilling and chatting with the PARENT of the children fully aware and in view of the situation. Not even ten minutes into my workout I have to leave in fear of accidentally kicking a child in a designated area meant for exercise. Very unprofessional, and unlike the rest of the lifeguard staff that addresses these issues and shuts down these problems immediately.
CASE the fort (JUST in CASE): Thanks for keeping me and the community fit and in shape. From the old facility on creighton st to this beautiful new building on bowers st. 🏀🏐🏸🏓
Zach !: I play basketball every weekday I know some of the staff and would even call them friends easy to get along with and they always get the latest version of 2k which I’m always down to play over at the spot (after school program 11 - 17 I think) go here when you have the chance
Monique Johnson: Well what i want to say is the ymca is great our lil guy is enjoying his swim lessons but i also want to give a 5 star to the lifeguard ALBERT all i can say is hes a super star in my eyes...my three year old son had just gotten out of the pool and took his little life jacket off and in two seconds he jumped right back in the pool with no life jacket on and albert was there in a blink of an eye and got my lil guy out of there i thanked albert and want him to know that yes it is his job but he also deserves kudos when he does his job with quickness and no hesitation and we thank him for that...ALBERT you rock!!!
David Wilkins: ᝬᝳᝳ6
Caleb Kimmel: Appreciate ALL that the Renaissance Pointe YMCA provides to our community! Thank you!
Neil Sowards: Everybody is nice. It seems strange that the hours are reduced. This means more people in less hours. Does not make sense. Also does not make sense that we cannot use the gym, which is so big there would be no problem with social distancing. I am paying for the use of the gym, but I am not allowed to walk in the gym. Nevermind, I walked in the hot hallway. I will be glad when the earlier hours are restored and I can walk in the gym again. The gym is being held for classes. As soon as one person walks in to the gym for a class, it is contaminated again. I think I should be able to walk there.
Ryan Duzand: As far as the parking, locker room, and weight room/cardio areas go, this is a hidden YMCA gem in Fort Wayne and I hesitated even writing b/c I don't want others to find out. It's better equipped and spacious than Skyline and it's more organized and cleaner than Central. The weight lifting area is awesome and laid out efficiently in a way I haven't seen elsewhere in town.
T Brown: Renaissance offers excellent customer service and it's the most diverse compared to other area YMCAs.
Ashtyn Jade: I love this place it's so fun
Bill Kesterkey: Great facility. Very friendly people!
Kirk Vakantie: Great facility and staff.
Teola L: Free access to the sauna is a great featurebut theres a 50/50 chance that it is NOT in a working state 😞
Rodney Burroughs: Great place to visit.. .
Anthony Ridley: It's serving the community very well, and is always looking for ways to build up everyone young or old.
Ebonee P: Very nice place better customer service then any of the other Ymca's in fortwanye.
Sparkle Thomas: Friendly, helpful staff, good group/class instructors, clean facility, wide-spaced floor plans, nice sized parking lot, many unity-based community programs, activities, and events for all ages.
Harold Brown: Clean, friendly environment. But don't understand why all other YMCA in the FW got a track. But I guess it's on the wrong side of town. Lol
Trivodka Lundy: Love this place!!
