Marcus Carlson: We purchased a very expensive Trex deck in the summer/fall of 2021. The deck was installed in December of 2021. The installers trashed our yard and property far beyond what was necessary. Trash and debris, much of it sharp was left all around, near a pool. Additionally, children and animals were at risk of stepping on these sharp items. They also left construction materials in our driveway and it took two phone calls before they came to get it. An open bag of cement was poured all over our driveway and into our grass. It left a concrete stain on our driveway and we had to rake concrete out of our grass in the winter. We filled out an evaluation with Trex about our experience and sent additional information to Trex and Knott Just Decks. We received a call that someone would come out and look at it and get back to us. We never received a call nor do we even know if the person came out. The deck was also built to tight to the pool in such a way that several pool caps were broken off, some of which could not be put back on because of how tight it was. The crew removed our winter cover without consent and when my wife talked to them about it and asked them to help put it back on, she was met with great rudeness and resistance. The installation made it near impossible to get the winter cover on and to remove it. It cut up our hands a good bit.In May of 2022 we made another attempt to reach to company given the damage to the pool caps and the issues with the cover. We also noticed some corners that did not meet and bowing boards. After several attempts via phone and email, we finally did get a response. We can say that this is the worst communication we have ever had with a company ever. An agreement was made to resolve the issues with a timeline that fit both parties. Halfway into that particular week, having heard nothing, we made several more attempts to reach out. We were finally able to make contact and someone came out to look at it with us. An installation person and some sort of other employee came out. The installation staff member blamed the issues on the sales person and told us not to shoot the messenger. The other employee said almost nothing and it was clear that they did not at all care. They insisted the one issue with the corners could not be fixed long term. They promised to address the other issues later that week. They noted that some debris might get in the pool no mater how hard they tried. I told them I understood. I woke up one morning to find that they had come very early in the morning to do the work. They left the deck dirty and trashed with debris from the work all over. Yet again they did not clean up after themselves. For another time we had to spend our time cleaning up a mess that even our teenagers would know to clean up.I contact the company again and asked for the owner to speak with me. I was told they would call me that day in spite of being out of the office. They did not. That evening I contacted one of the men (the one who did not particularly care) about the issue. He told me that he was not going to listen to my lecture and that he believed me just to be a person they could never make happy. Inappropriate and inaccurate, I noted that I was simply trying to get what I paid for (and what is under warranty) and to get some basic decency around cleaning up after themselves. He told me he was not going to listen to me and I then made it clear what I thought of his competence and character on the matter and that I would be pursuing this further.Attempts to reach the company have not worked and while the product is great, the communication, integrity and installation are of great concern. The problem is with warranty response. We have left several messages as well as photos. We do not receive phone calls back for follow up. After finally talking to a very nice young lady in the office I was told that someone would call me (they were very busy). It is ok to be busy with NEW work. Don't forget to take care of the work that was already done. We even recommended our neighbor to have it done and the did. (we did not receive the referral gift card either). I have no problem with having a warranty repair, that is why things come with a warranty stuff happens. I have a problem with not being service after the fact.

We saw them this year at the home show and let him know that something happened to our pole that caused it to get all scratched up in the second segment.I took it in for repairs a week and a half ago and they said they would let me know in 2 or 3 days to pick it up like I said it was a week and a half ago! I picked it up today and I get a plastic piece replaced and that is all. I still have the flagpole with all the ugly scratches!Blackpool needs replaced I will not be returning to them.

They measured incorrectly and couldn't install one window and basically implied it was our fault. They also were missing a window. They were supposed to install them today, but just called to say they were shipped to the wrong warehouse. David Reed: I bought my Traeger Ironwood 650 form Simply Decks and Stuff a little over a year and a half ago.I started to see some of the paint coming off from the bottom half of the barrel in the front and back and some rust starting in those areas.I called Traeger and talked to a rep who had me do a video chat with her. She had me show her the rust places on my grill and was able to tell that I had rust issues due to the paint peeling. She said the grill was still under warranty, and would send out a new barrel to replace the rusted one. After she got to looking, she said they were out of the barrel portion for replacement, so they would just send me a whole new grill.Wow, how about that for customer service and warranty!!! The new grill arrived yesterday as promised. Couldn't be happier, thanks Traeger for your outstanding customer service.

This type of specialized knowledge is becoming harder to come by. So if you are even thinking about a Traeger smoker, I would recommend stopping in so you can make an informed decision.

The website was easy to navigate, and I was able to gather all of the product information that I needed right there. We corresponded via email, and Tim was very responsive. I called Traeger (as it says to do so in the manual if you have any problems) and explained that my grill had significant dents in a couple of areas. Of course I had to submit photographic evidence to support my claims, but even after doing so Traeger indicated it might take awhile to get approval to replace the entire grill (they wanted to send parts for me to replace on a brand new, never used grill). I called Simply Decks and let the owner (Tim) know what was going on and that same day he called me back and said he would replace the grill and deal with Traeger so I didn't have to. Awesome customer service!! Do what's right!! If you want to deal with a locally owned business that puts the customer first, Simply Decks will not disappoint!!

Lisa Spare: We purchased our Treager grill at the ‘18 Home & Garden Show. We loved the company rep from Treager..... after that it was a complete train wreck!!! These people are unprofessional, not polite, not customer service oriented at all! We bought a new grill that we were told we could have 3 days later. It’s been one thing after the next and an extremely aggravating situation. Frustrating and they have no idea which end’s up. I will never do any sort of business with them again for anything. The cost of their grills is comparable to even Do It Best. My advice is to shop there where the people are friendly and know what customer service is. Save yourself the hassle. While I am moving on from Simply Decks, I am however happy to say my conversation with Treager HQ has been more satisfying this far. I’m not sure why they’d want a company such as Simply Decks as an authorized dealer presenting themselves as the face of their company.

When we moved into our home we had completed the remodel of our upstairs but was never able to finish the downstairs or our master bathroom. Once we had a game plan we were then set up with Chrystal and I think his name was Toby for a final walk thru before scheduling work to be started. We were told that it may be a bit before things could get started since they were booked out pretty far, however to our surprise they were able to get started way earlier than expected!! Everyone was very patient with us as we added things to be done along the way and took some things off of the list. We even had a Covid hiccup in our house and the whole crew was so awesome about it, and even with a 10 day break they were right back at it when they were able to re-enter the house!! I cannot thank this whole crew enough for working with us on everything. I know it can be difficult sometimes. The upstairs was always very tidy when we got home from work, and they did their absolute best to ensure their workspace was clean and taken care of upon our arrival home. Ray went above and beyond to make extra phone calls to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. When I wanted to make changes, it was a simple "no problem."The workers also went out of their way to not only showcase the professionalism of the company, but also to showcase that they were all just good human beings. We have three dogs, who would tend to escape where we were keeping them while they were working, they always brought them back downstairs, but then back in the three seasons room, and even spent time checking on them throughout the day. We had major storms come through our area and they went out to make sure our trashcans were brought it and did not blow around. All of this was above and beyond what we could have expected.Also, we are a law enforcement family, and my husband has a duty stand in the main room where Miracle was working the majority of the time. One of the workers noticed that my husband clearly worked in law enforcement, and left an incredibly kind business card that read "Dear Officer: We Need You!"
