dj whitt 1: Back in the day a was an awesome place to go swimming. Now, it looks like a place forgotten. Sign posted no swimming, beach area shrunk and sand almost gone. They have a nature trail by it that looks like woods on a farm. It's run down, and not taken care of. The boarded up run down shacks makes it look a place in t.v. where you would find bootleggers. It needs a new face lift.

Richard B: I go to lake Everett now and then for about 45 years. I went there to swim and visit half a dozen friends who lived there. There was a small store at one time. Right across from the boat ramp. That is if this old man's brain remembers right. Nice and quiet. Close to fort Wayne but away from it.
Anne Janine: Me and my dad often came up too Lake Everett too swim in the good ol' days when we had a station wagon. I think it is closer then Fox Island and far closer than Indian Springs in Garett.I've spent many a happiest moments by a lake, and this was one of them.

Scott Conklin: Absolutely terrible lake at least one third of this lake is unfishable due to weeds, very poor fishing. They have made some improvements on the ramp installing a dock but the neighborhood and area is very sketchy at best lots of shacks. You will need to wash your boat and trailer when you leave. I keep looking for the giant flush handle when I get out of there.

Jon Adams: What a depressed area. The lake itself looks fishable and I will definitely go back and fish, but the abandoned houses along the road to the lake give it an uneasy feeling. I know that 5 years ago a big development deal fell through but, I would expect the developer to try to recoup some losses by selling off some of that property.
