Allison Ward Fuscaldo: My mother and I visited this store to pick out carpet for her home. The sales person was nice and helpful, but was standing much too close for our comfort. He was also not wearing a face covering. I know this is a controversial issue in Indiana, so we did not say anything and had our own face coverings on.For first appointment my mother made to have her home measured for carpet no one showed up or called. She had to make a second appointment. When the man showed up she asked him to wear a face covering to enter her home, and he refused and said he did not have to. He also said he was unvaccinated. That doesn’t make sense at all! So thankfully she asked him to leave immediately and has since taken her business elsewhere. I wanted to put this review here so that people that are protective of their health during this time, like my mother who is a senior, can make an informed decision as to whether to use this company. It’s inconsiderate, disrespectful, unprofessional, and unfortunate.
Erin Salyers: First impressions were good but it went downhill after that. They spent time helping us in the showroom. We made our selections and scheduled installation. Installer was friendly but let us know when he got here he was supposed to have a helper so he may not get it done himself that day. He didn't finish and promised to come back the next morning, so we stayed home all day and he never showed up. We emailed the sales office, they apologized and sent him back the next day to finish. We paid a little extra to have a repair done to a seam in our basement, but the installer said there wasn't anything he could do to fix the seam, so I have been asking for a partial reimbursement for that and have been met with complete silence for over 6 weeks. No responses whatsoever. I waited to write this to give them some time, but am pretty disappointed. We chose this company because we had a good experience in the showroom and they are locally owned but we will have to find another locally owned place next time.Update: They sent a partial reimbursement a few months later so I added a star.
jay young: Thank you Michael's for a great renovation of our house! Started this just before Covid. I placed project on hold until we felt safe. Bill, Casey and Tim worked tirelessly to get things done quickly and safely once we started again. The craftsmen they provided were wonderful. Every crew worked professionally and cleaned up daily. Austin was amazing to work with. Very professional and did absolute amazing work. He removed our old tile backsplash and installed new mosaic backsplash. He even did some trim work around the bottom of the countertop. Will definitely be calling again for our next job. Thanks again! Kevin and Jenn
I called A&K Tile in the middle of a whole house remodel after the original tile guy I hired did not show up. Austin was able to give me an accurate quote from pictures and measurements that I sent him. We agreed on a start date and Austin showed up on time and ready to work. He ultimately did my 4x8 walk-in shower, the bathroom floor, installed 1200sft of vinyl plank flooring and installed my backsplash in the kitchen. Austin also worked around my schedule, sometimes working late nights to get the job done on time. I get compliments on all of the work that Austin did every time that I show someone my house. I would definitely hire him again!

Sherri Hepler: First I scheduled with him online at his website. He didn't show up for our appointment, so I called him. He said that he just started using the online scheduler and never got the information. So, I rescheduled with him for the following Monday and asked him what time was best for him. He said morning was best for him at either 9 or 10, so I gave him that window to be here, between 9 and 10 on Monday. No show! I texted him and he said that he forgot that it was he and his girlfriends anniversary...

Sent a message and in the same day I was able to get in contact with Austin and talk to him about my project and what I wanted done. He was willing to come out that same day and give me a quote. first blood Mosher: We had an emergency situation with our special needs daughters shower pan where the tile had failed and leaking into our basement. I called Austin and explained to him the problem and the urgency of the matter. Austin came out and he gave me a very decent quote.... Did I mention that this shower is 110% custom there nothing standard about it...After starting demo the problem was much worse than initially thought.. the pan itself is 80"x 80" and penny tiled...Austin had to take everything down to the joists out....and then build back up from there... mind you this is in an already finished environment...Nothing about this job was easy...Austin worked with us at every aspect ... the New pan is beautiful and met all of our expectations...we plan on using Austin for several of our commercial projects as well....Thank You Austin....

Joes Mammy: At the end of the day these people only care about making money hand over fist in the top ranks they do not value employees or people they will leave you high and dry w no warning regardless what situation it may put you in as soon as they use you up they'll dump you you'll run your car into the ground and work for them on your gas money. The quality of work isn't anything spectacular either js.

Steve Graves: They did a carpet install. Very efficient and quick, but the job was only so-so. For example, their installers decided not to replace the (ancient) tack strips, presumably because it involved too much work. So now we have to make sure our vacuum cleaner is on the weakest setting, otherwise it will pull up the carpet in spots! We will not be using this company again...

Tina Panagopoulos: Jack Laurie Group was contacted for the painting of the social hall at my church. We had over 400 holes that were caused from the chairs being stacked and pushed up against the walls, and the paint was at least 12 years old. Jack Laurie Group filled in the holes and painted new life to our social hall that was in need of painting. We then used their cleaning services to strip & wax the floors. The end results had our church parishioners left with their mouths open. Thank you all at Jack Laurie for the excellent work that you did for us.

My greatest gifts call me Mom: There's nothing negative I can say about our experience with K&N Carpet. Our purchase was done over the phone (since we live in Florida). Our salesman Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly Honest. He knew exactly what we wanted based on his expertise and our conversations. Mike did the measurements, picked out our carpet (based on wall color and what was previously in the condo) and arranged installation. Our installer was prompt, courteous and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. 🤗
