Fort Wayne Police Department Headquarters: what do users think?
Clancy Fields: This police department is completely worthless. Their captain is bias and doesn't care if for anyone's safety. They lie and will not so their job even getting paid by tax payers dollars. They need to purge this department of all the corrupt people. It's so sad if trying to make police reports they are even avoiding that.
Anne Baker: People here act the way they do because anyone can get away with acting however they want. I was treated completely wrong in a situation where I was being harassed by a business and started having a panic attack. After calling for help in the situation, things just got worse. Officers should be trained how to recognize when someone is having a panic attack. Situations like this have to be handled differently than another situation might need. I needed help de escalating a situation. I literally begged. They didn't say a single word to them find out why that had happened. They just said the business could do whatever they want. I didn't realize threatening/harassment was ok in any case, especially a business I was giving money to. I left in so much more of a state of anxiety and frustration that I honestly probably shouldn't have been driving. You need help people when they're clearly LITERALLY begging. I have no answers to why I was treated like I was by the business or not the officer Mark who only made it worse. Compassion and common sense would be good for the FWPD to try.
Aonyaee: Erin , one of the ladies at the front desk gave inappropriate directions regarding simple fingerprint directions. After going above her to another employee , she then aggressively falsified the directions that she told me to another employee. If you are lying about simple fingerprint directions that you gave, I can only imagine what else you lie about.Another example of using your white woman privilege smh
Min Aung Hlaing: Hey Stop! Officer Stevens!
Sandy Phillips: I am from Springfield Mo. My adult daughter was left in Fort Wayne. She has no phone no money. I have not heard from her in 3 days. Her name is Monica. If you meet her please let her use your phone to call home! I am in fear for her life. God bless
Dre Thang: Police are so rude , they hire pretty much anybody with a hero complex . They detained me & said i was the suspect of a burglary just because I was black and fit the description. Like do your job & stop tryna pin every crime on a person of color & I'm not even making it about race but that's literally the only way to describe it .
Tyler Kelly: They arrest black children who have been threatened by white adults
Joy McGinnis: I guess they are just doing their jobs. You know, protecting and servicing racists.
Peter Gingerelli: Letting a woman chase kids with a knife and then blaming the children is proof this department is a disgrace to all in uniform. And you will wonder why the people will not support you
Ethan Jasso: Letting that disgrace Terra Rolling walk, huh? I don’t think anyone at this poverty program would feel so good if this happened to their kids! Shameful.
Jungo the Duck: Idk man seems kinda racist
Learcio obleke: So this department has made its stance, chosen its team rather then their oath, and basically..."Klu Klux Klan, we welcome you with open arms. Neos, very welcome in our home town. Daughters of the confederacy, you're welcome here. Don't worry about minorities, we'll silence them and protect white America's we'll being."Why do I say such a harsh phrase? Because video evidence, witnesses, and even their vehicle camsshow how they preferred to stay in silence and side with white, which is by their logic, always right. Don't believe me, look at the recent incidents that they've tried to sweep under their carpet. So unless you're white, don't move into this township. Less they try to say you were resisting or had a gun in your hands.
Ben Lopez: Very nice officers, respectful
Bailey Gibson: These dispatchers are rude, nasty, and accusing when you call in to report any kind of public safety emergency. They have no sense of urgency with anything. And will for some reason blame you when you report vehicles driving recklessly on the freeway. God forbid A police officer actually get out of his air conditioned car and do anything... A true waste of tax payers money.
Larrie Stoffer: Had car trouble this eve, and an officer responded in a reasonable time. It was a difficult situation, as my car was blocking a lane at the busy intersection of Clinton and Washington center, this about 6pm. The officer who helped was cool headed and very, very helpful. He suggested a method to move the car out of the road in a safe manner before the tow truck arrived. Kudos to him and the fwp.
BoomerSpeed01: The only experience I have with the Fort Wayne police department is sadly with the hit and run division. Since there's so many people that just don't care and take off after hitting another car or car(s), there's an entire division just for hit and runs! It takes a while for them to get to your case, but in both instances of mine, they used the information given to them by me and other witnesses, and caught the person both times. Actually there was one other instance where some dumb kids were causing a ruckus in our neighborhood. I was unsure enough that I didn't want to go outside in case they were trying to start something. I reported the issue and they sent out a patrol car that arrived in a matter of 10 minutes or less just to make sure they weren't still in the area. All in all I haven't had any inherently bad experiences with the police department like some have stated in reviews on here. I don't spend much time downtown though. I'm mainly at home and at work.
BboyPaul 180: "Officer" Barrientes is a Tyrant!
SeaWee: I was picking up my stuff from the store today at Kroger and now I am waiting downtown for criminal trespass!!!! I will have to get a trial now
TAM THE REVIEWER: The rude and negative attitudes of most of the officers and non-emergency dispatchers, outshine the few officers that actually care about the citizens of Fort Wayne. It is hard to get the public’s respect when they lack common courtesy for the citizens.
John Snyder: Nothing but rude.. VERY RUDE. And corrupt cops. And it’s sad to say there’s nothing you can do about it.
Keifer May: Called the non-emergency number in order to get some guidance on a sticky subject. The customer service and human element is lacking, to put it delicately. They are unwilling to answer questions or talk to you like you're a person. They definitely need to retrain whomever answers the phones and deals with calls. Or they need new staff who care about the public and their community. No help and unwilling to listen or speak empathetically. Thanks FWPD.

Indiana State Police: what do users think?
Deanna Gordinier: Officer Hernandez is an amazingly kind and caring police officer! On August 14, 2021, I was visiting Fort Wayne IN with my niece. I was here for the birth of her baby which was supposed to be a scheduled c-section taking place on 8/16/21. We were in the brand new 2021 car that I had rented from the airport. We had trouble with the vehicle and ended up stuck on the highway. My niece had been having contractions all morning on the 14th and we had decided the baby may come early so we were dropping her older child to relatives and headed to the hospital. Then we found ourselves stranded with her contractions 2-3 minutes apart. Her friends picked her up and got her to the hospital right when Officer Hernandez pulled up in his cruiser. It was such a relief to see his lights in my rearview mirror! He stayed with me until the tow truck came and then he checked with his superior and made arrangements to take me all the way to the airport car rental place (even tho it made him late to work). This officer was so kind and helpful! He is an asset to law enforcement and in a world where there is so much hate and chaos, this man really went above and beyond and provided a caring service to people who were under much stress!! Thank you Officer Hernandez!! Also as a side note my niece had the baby early - a perfect beautiful baby girl and I made it to the hospital in time due to Officer Hernandez’s actions!!
Jeremiah Kelsaw: My vehicle slid into a ditch and 3 state troopers showed up to the scene to see if I needed and help and asked if I needed a tow truck to pull me out and I told them that I was currently on the phone to get my insurance agency and getting a tow truck sent my way. Once the tow truck that my insurance agency reached the location of the scene the tow truck driver said that my vehicle was gone. Come to find out that the state police pulled my car out without my knowledge, so I was in limbo for over several hours not knowing what happened to my car. They didn’t care to inform me that this would be a possibility at the time of the scene whatsoever. They just told me that was good sense I called in a tow truck through my insurance agency and plus an sheriff of DeKalb county came to tag my car to make sure that nobody would grab my vehicle. I called into the Indiana state police department to follow up to see what happened to my vehicle and the first gentleman told me to call back in the morning to talk to the person in charge and also said that said person would be in the following morning. This was a lie. I called this morning today and was told that he was not in today at all so I need to call back in the following day. I called another time because my insurance agency told to do a follow up and get information from the Indiana state police. When I called the gentleman working on the phone on 02/16/2021 was very unprofessional and decided to hang up the phone on me because I was just doing what my insurance agency said to do. So inclusion, in my overall experience with the Indiana state police, I was lied too over the phone, misinformed, rudely hung up on because the gentleman over the phone didn’t know how to handle his own temper and I was failed to be notified about the situation.
Camren Hill: Look out! Mean chargers on Jefferson and Liberty Mills Rd.
Joe Hartman: The Indiana State Police is a full service law enforcement agency for the state of Indiana. They also do an outstanding job assisting other agencies across the United States. Outstanding facilities for outstanding individuals!
John Boling: Did some hard time here, It was awesome!!!!
Cary Dodenhoff: Had to stop by for general question and was given good info. Very professional. Just make sure to obey traffic laws nearby. These officers do a great job keeping us safe being just what we see I'm sure.

Allen County Sheriff’s Department: what do users think?
PJ .H: sus
Tony Dutton: I wanna say great job today for helping that standed motorist today on i69 very Awrsome job and wanna say thank you and god bless you all
Dakota Conway: Very ghetto 🤢 would not recommend
xProxifyy: The fries are kinda soggy, but overall, a pretty good restaurant...
Jimbob McPants: These guys are a bunch of mean people with no sense for true justice. 0/10 would not recommend. Don't talk to them if you can avoid it at all.
L H: Wouldn’t recommend to anyone 🤢
Trevor Lackey: Highly don’t recommend 🤢
T D M.: Doing A GREAT JOB..
Gregory Palmer: NOTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL.I left my house for a quick trip to Menards this morning, forgetting my phone and to turn off my security system. When I left, the alarm went off. It was only a 15min trip. By the time I got back home, the sheriff's department had already been to the house, secured it, and left before I ever knew what happened.I returned home and saw my phone had received numerous calls from my security system. I called and they informed me on what had happened. So I reviewed my inside security cameras.Nothing but professional, he went through my entire home making sure it was secured, even locking doors as he went. He was extremely professional as he secured my home.Thank you to all the men and women in the police and sheriff's department.
G Mon: A man in a sheriff's uniform can not even tell what a parking ticket is...so sad
Shannon Rabbitt: They were there when we needed them. We have had a tough situation going on at our current Residence, and they took the time to get all of the information and try to resolve the Issue to the best of their ability. They serve the Community and stick to their Oath!
Cheryl McCarthy: My car was broken into while I was at the dentist. Since my car was locked, the theif decided to break my window. The sheriff's department responded to the call in no time. Best of all, the officer was super nice to me. I know I must have seemed rude or indifferent because I was rattled and on the phone with my bank to immediately close my checking. (Since the only thing of any value was the checkbook that had fallen out of my pocket and onto the seat of the car). He was very kind, very patient and very professional.Thank you FWSD!By the way, that theif didn't get a thing but some loose change that was in my consol.
