S G: Went here twice, once to pick up my stuff and later to get some more supplies. The first experience was good, with a woman and man that were nice and helpful. Second time was later, the woman (white lady with 2 pony tails that were different colors) had mentioned to someone in front of me that she had someone use 13 different cards that all got declined — she was obviously in a bad mood. Another gentleman that went next was trying to pay for his trailer/truck and was told by another worker there or at a different location he was already charged or paid some portion up front. Where she proceeded to tell him they don’t do that and they went back and forth several times. Difficult customer, but I understand if he actually had already paid upfront. Why would he pay full price. As they progressed, she escalated the conversation by raising her voice saying they were arguing and he was being aggressive while he had not raised his voice at all. He also used some slang expressions and she in a mocking tone reiterated the terms back to him. She then told him they were done and that he needed to leave or she was calling the cops and played victim while she was yelling at him the whole time. 2 stars only because my experience with the other workers was great. She needs a serious personality, privilege, and racism reflection. When she checked me out, she was visibly shaking like she had not just caused the scene. He even made a mess with his boots while she stepped away, found a mop that was left out and cleaned the mess….just to be treated like that.

Tee: Jeanneth, is awesome. She helped me and my son during a very difficult time. Needed a storage unit and a truck. She showed me the storage units and gave me the price of the truck in South Bend to Fort Wayne. I got the storage unit. She didn't rush me even though she had to go to her Dr appointment. Thank you again Jeanneth for your awesome smile and kind words of encouragement. God Bless you .
Matt Spinks: The miles in the truck were way off, and it only came with an 1/8 a tank of gas. And they charged me for that, even though I took a picture before driving the truck and reported it to them. Make sure you check! But even if you do, youll still get charged!Then they nickel and dimed me well over $100 for the “$20 truck rental” even though I never left town with it. I realize mileage is extra, but the charge was way more than that.Then when I tried to get everything updated to the right price, no one could help me, I needed to come back on a different day when the manager was working. You can’t actually reach the place through the phone, when they’re “busy” the call just goes to the national Uhaul number. You can only go in person, and hope that someone can help you. When I was there no one was even authorized to talk to me about the overcharge.I guess since Covid every place is under staffed and unable to find good help. Still, I will never go here again.

Summit City: Returned a trailer today and was in and out in about 3 minutes and never had to get out of my vehicle. Great service.

Lifeline: Went to return the trailer. Idk her name but she’s Asian with classes. The parking lot was full of trucks and trailers except this one spot which was very narrow and impossible to turn into from within the parking lot. I told her I can’t pull into the spot without hitting the trailer on one of their truck. She told me to drive back the other way and back into it. I told her I’m not comfortable reversing with a trailer since I don’t have experience doing it. Best I can do is pull right next to the spot and have you unload it and push it 2-3 feet back. She then proceeded to yell at me and started cursing me out. She threaten to slap and told me to get tf out of their parking lot while not even finish unloading the trailer from my car. She also said I was ban from there lol. Why sign up for the job when you can’t even do ur job.

Pying King: This place is the worst place to go to the manager Dee is rude and customer service is the worst in the world. Customer service person ( name start with H ) is rude and cursing to the customer on the phone while I was in that location.I would not go there again. I do not recommend anyone to go there. I’m attaching photo of them smoking outside. Customer service person in sitting in the photo cover with the car. They would never answer your call nicely. Rude Rude Rude!!

Oprah Scott: The manager Dee, I witnessed yelling at a customer at the top of her lungs unnecessarily. Dee continued to repeat and yell even when the customer got to his vehicle and was attempting to leave. Dee is who she is referred too. She has multicolored hair, was very aggressive in nature. Very provokingly. Dee then threatened to call the police on the customer with absolutely no cause seeing as she was the one completely out of control. Dee continued to cause a scene and it was extremely unprofessional. The difficulty it makes for someone in need of u haul service and having to deal with such a tyrant is beyond unfathomable. The degree of the way things seem to escalate and due to her being in the wrong. Unable to come down and meet at a level of reasoning. This I say because I witnessed the victim try to speak in a lower tone “6 minutes late”. 6 minutes is enough to charge late fee. That is your right. Customer stated that was fine and yet again the employees reaction was completely out of context, level, and reason. I say employees because the shorter other employee lady started the situation off and was not very approachable. This is where the discussion of “6 minutes late” is had. When customer tried to explain then to Dee. Dee began yelling “ DONT APPROACH ME, YOU ARE LATE”. The customer attempted to speak again lowering his tone seeing as there were people around. Dee still yelling at the top of her lungs, and continued to do so again even while customer was getting into car. Being in a profession learning how to maintain control in a managers position is required with the position. Dee displayed absolutely no control.

Tanisha Turner: Tuesday November 23, only one clerk working in store. She was doing her best to tend to each customer. I feel she went above and beyond in helping load my boxes and even provided a bungee cord for my truck. I wish I would've gotten her name but she deserves praise for her excellent customer service.

sarah wolffe: This specific location is over drafting our account continuously taking money out. When my fiance was renting a Tow Dolly for less than a day, maybe 6 hours or less he was quoted 50$ and taxes for the cost. Well they charged us the $56.66, 10 days later we get charged 86.74. Looked online at our costs and all. An we see in total we are getting charged over $200. Called this dude to find out how much they charge for a tow dolly and was quoted $44 😑 these numbers don't add up you a**holes. Called to get it taken care of and was basically told they don't know if it will be disputed or not. So in a month if this isn't taken care of, I'm getting ALLLLLLL our money back by calling the bank again an telling them its a fraudulent charge. This is sad. My family is going through enough with haven a micro premie that's at a children's hospital 2 hours from us. Do better with your job and communicating things! Sad that u haul an two men an a truck are stealing money from their customers.

Chuck Best: Timothy and Michael were very professional and quick to take care of my issue. Gave me a very reasonable price and had my wiring harness installed in 25 minutes. I cannot express how happy of a customer I am because of their work!
Seth Ward: Trustworthy individuals who do a good job in a short amount of time! During the installation process of my hitch a small tie down clip in the trunk of my vehicle was damaged. They made sure to let me know of the damage and even took money off the price of my hitch install. They went out of their way to make sure that they were conducting business in a honest and customer centered way. They easily could have not shown me the damage and I probably wouldn’t have noticed it for a while. I would definitely recommend anyone use these guys for Hitch Installations and any of your other hauling needs. Timothy is the GOAT!
Jeanie Wilt: For this location always tell them you're keeping it until the 24 hour mark. I'm made an mistake of saying I don't need it for a few hours. So they tried to build me a fine that was greater than the daily rate for bringing it back at the 5 hour mark, instead of 4 hours. They reversed it, but i have never Encountered this before.
Chris Ashton: The employees here are sketchy in that they will absolutely find ways to bill you if they don’t like you, then lie when confronted. There are plenty of other places, don’t give this one your business.

The other associates apologized on her behalf.Turns out my boxes weren't ready for pickup, despite me confirming the day before. When we (the other associate and me) came back to the building from checking outside, Jennifer doubled down and said the cops are on their way and they won't be dispatching my boxes from her location.By the way, her son is the manager and is currently on his way to get my boxes ready for pickup.I am making this review in real time and will update with any relevant additional details
Shawn Hill: Left my vehicles windows open and left the vehicle unlocked… This place is very unprofessional and I would avoid at all costs…
Doug Belfor: Do not have a trailer hitch installed @ this facility. They damaged a one year old vehicle. Left parts off, sloppy wiring and did not reattach muffler to hanger. When confronted they told at least 3 lies. They were not aware I was a certified mechanic or that I hade video of the proper way to install the hitch. Damaged tail light and paint and failed to install body panel they removed to install hitch. This was a plastic panel that required a small slot cut to accomodate the hitch. Lady at counter said they do not modify panels 1st lie. This was not told to me when I dropped the car off, nor did they tell me it was missing when I picked up. The techinician lied and said he did not damage tail light when removing. Lady @ counter said she left messages on my phone 2nd lie. She said muffler was not removed from hanger, it is impossible to perform install without removal. She said they did the install with special tools so they did not have to remove from hanger 3rd lie. The technician once outside did admit the tail light was damage on property, the panel was not installed and the muffler was lowered for the install. The workers had no problem lying right to my face, that tells me they have lied many times before. Facility is not trust worthy.

Dimelo Waterson: My second visit to this location. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I was missing wiring for my tow and they were able to have it installed same-day to accommodate my move. Trailer rentals here are no joke 25% of the cost in Wisconsin.

Stan Chase: From the Manager to the front counter I was and still am blown away with how quickly and professionally a potential "VERY BIG" problem for myself was resolved with in minutes. Like most folks, money is tight. The young women at the front counter and the store manager figured out the problem and solved it within minutes. They could have just as easily said that it is what it is and sorry about your luck. Because they didnt, I will now have enough money left in my account to put gas in my car, eat lunch every day at work and get a long over due hair cut without stressing... Best and easiest transaction I have had in a very long time! If you need a Uhaul for any reason, I recommend that you call the Coldwater road store and you will be less stressed walking out than you did walking in!

Arianna Beck: Reserved a trailer online well in advance for 2 hours before it said they close. Get a confirmation call 2 days before, saying I'm all set to pick up at the reserved time. Then day of, an hour before, calls and says they're closing early, in 3 minutes, and I need to find a new place to pick up a trailer. The way the guy cancelled/moved it ended up jacking up the trailer rental cost by $150 at a place down the street.Unprofessional behavior. I might be moving but I'm warning my friends and family to never use this rental spot.
Lana L (LB): I needed some boxes and they were more than helpful. My mom just passed away and I had been looking all over. They gave me what they had in stock plus the display and put them in my car. All in all a good experience. The store is very clean and tidy and the uhaul trucks are lined up very nicely as well. I would definitely do business there again.
Chris Smith: I've rented a truck from a lot of the locations in town, and this is one of the absolute worst. Each time I've dealt with the same individual at this location, twice now, and they are beyond unprofessional. They complain about doing their job the whole time, was even telling me how he put another customer on hold because he was done with customers for the day. Don't try to do the mobile pickup at this location as they won't have your equipment ready and you'll have to go inside anyways, and then get charged more than you were quoted online. On top of that, the mechanical condition of the trucks are terrible, even for a rented moving truck.
