Safeway Driving School: what do users think?
Stephanie Coomer: The best driving school around. Everyone is very helpful and easy to work with. Pam Bohren was great with working around our schedule and very personable when driving with my son.
Denise Robinson: I really hope my daughter has this instructor every class. He gave me, the parent, feedback after class and told me how she did. My son went to this school and had it a figured out (he thinks) but my daughter wants instruction and hopes to have the same instructor. Pretty sure it’s the owner or one of them. She was impressed and so was I.
Sarah Hodges: I’m highly satisfied with the overall quality of this driving school and their instructors. The classroom portion is very informative and well thought out, and the driving instructor my daughter had was amazing with her! He did not stress her out but was very patient and really taught her everything she needs to know before hitting the road alone. She always came home happy and felt like she learned something new and valuable. Although it can seem expensive, I believe the price matches the quality of the program! 10/10
Min Aung Hlaing: Great School
Jennie Minear: My son is feeling more comfortable on the road because of this marvelous experience ✨️ thank you 😊
Shelly Ellenwood: Josh & Pam are absolutely AWESOME!!!
Chrysteen B: I love it here, I've only had two lessons so far but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for driving lessons.
Jeffrey Engdahl: Great staff at Safeway driving school.Very knowledgeable and polite and professional. Would recommend to all people that are interested putting kids through driving school. Very reasonable price aswell. 👍
Jodee Moore: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI enjoyed the instructors they were very understanding and kind. And also helped me achieved my goal for 2021. Many blessings!
Yavanna Klappal (Imagirlteehee): My Child took drivers Ed here. They were respectful and addressed my child by the name the choose to use rather than their birth name. They did a great job teaching and caring about my child. 10/10 would recommend.
Robyn brown: Staff was pleasant! Service was wonderful!
Melissa Smith: I still intimidate friends & family with the driving skills/tips I learned from instructors @ Safeway Driving School.
Godified Saint: I have a question and will be reaching out through email or by phone soon...I have a question, but let me start by saying I learned how to drive at a very old age, like 26 I think and they did great and great experience learning to drive and never learned....I also forgot the instructor name but the day I went to take the test and passed it was his birthday. But I still do not know how to drive on the highway. Can they teach me that? I paid to learn how to drive so I'm just wondering
J W: Both of my sons have been through this school and had very good experiences with the place. It helps if your kids have had at least some experience behind the wheel before enrolling them (if possible) but even without that, they do a good job getting your kids out and behind the wheel.
Leann Yagodinski: Five of our kids have gone through Safeway. We have had nothing but great experiences with Safeway with all of our kids. The staff is friendly, flexible and have done a great job of teaching our kids how to drive. I highly recommend them!
Summer Philebaum05: They all are great people and are very polite. I am having a great experience learning to drive with them. Thanks for teaching me.
Keeighja Gray: I loved the school.
Sherrysarina Wright3458: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Jack Heibeck: Positive:Communication
Dennis Schmucker: Just passed my driving test 10 stars. Caleb
Trindy: My daughter's experience was exceptional! Her driving instructor was laid back and wasn't hysterical like her mother, me, while taking a new driver out on the road.In the classroom they were able to be flexible whe she was sick.

I like that she has different instructors when driving too since she has learned something different from each one! We will return when our other children are ready for drivers ed!
Josh Ritschard: Critical:Professionalism

Precision Driving: what do users think?
Momma Mia: Just called to ask about my son attending one of their driving courses and the receptionist was not very polite. Sounded like she had an attitude with me asking questions and kept stating I could find it online on the website. No thanks my son will not be attending there. 😒
Miguel Rivera: Great place very helpful
Matthew Floor: *Edit*After my first review we were contacted by the actual owner who was a very kind and reasonable lady. She took the time to hear what my wife experienced and her concerns and listened well. At this point I'm unsure what steps may be taken to address the man acting like the owner who provided the experience listed below but I will revise my statement to say that the owner and the driving instructors that we had were kind and helpful for the most part. There appears to be some issues related to some of the management.Initial review:Very poor experience with this company. The man acting like the owner was very, very rude when we brought up a concern. He spent the entire time trying to defend his views without even listening to the concern. He refused to even answer the question and was highly immature in trying to just tell us that our concern wasn't a big deal. In addition to this, the lady that does the scheduling is not very helpful and as others have commented, they refuse to schedule out beyond the next appointment. The driving instructors have been kind for the most part but the management has been just awful. This is a poorly run business with a very narcissistic owner.I would highly recommend going to another company.
Kristi Cortezano- Smith: Positive:CommunicationMy son was timid driving after being a passenger in an accident when he was little. The staff at Precision worked with him mentally and showed him empathy while also challenging him to succeed. They are the best. I would not send my kiddos anywhere else.
Jill Buhr: Absolutely, hands down, the best place for driving education! All four of our kids attended classes and drive times through Precision. Both the owners and instructors are very qualified to teach your child the rules of the road….. never once were we concerned that our kids wouldn’t be prepared to receive their permits and licenses. Instructors are very accommodating of your schedule for drive times, too, which is a plus! I cannot recommend Precision enough…. I guarantee you will not find a better driving school in the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Tammy Berry: Very friendly people with amazing instructors that teach the students well.
Angela Grable: Excellent instructors and easy to work with
Jake Worley: Great driving school like excellent, great driving instructors, very nice owner, they taught my child great driving techniques like parallel parking and driving on the interstate. Definitely should enroll your kid here!
Mia mcinturff: Good 😎😎😎😎
Brandon Winston: My sons class is there. Really nice place. Nice cars to learn in and really safe.
BulLets4Death ‘: Positive:Value
Ryan Doctor: My experience has been very negative. They have had our child’s name wrong in their system from day 1. Each time we go in, about 4 times, they are unable to find the file because they aren’t capable of updating the information. We have been told conflicting information between the staff, as far as what paperwork we would need and when we would need it, It’s very frustrating. The gentleman who claimed to be the owner, refused to hear our concerns and was very rude and unprofessional, cutting off my wife when she spoke and just plain out being childish. I highly recommend you find a different driving school.
Kari Richards: Those that I've interacted with have been professional. What I didn't find out until after we signed up my daughter was they won't schedule you more than 1x month and only when it's immediately before your 16 years + 3 months date. The whole reason I was signing them up for a class was so they could be taught some behind the wheel driving skills by a professional prior to the majority of my hours on the road with them. My boys did their behind the wheel training through our high school 6 days in a row about 9 months prior to their license eligibility. This was much more effective!
Amneris Vargas: I thought they were very nice people. Until I decided that the once a month was not what I wanted for my daughter. She only drove once with them. I decided to go to a different school and asked for my money back. They said they would of course taking money for that one drive. Which I understand. They also told me they would cancel my daughters permit which I think is very vindictive I understand if I didn't sign up with a different school but I did that Friday. The prob lem is I asked for my refund Dec. 10th it is Dec. 27th and I still have not received my refund. Do not recommend this school.
Dominicj Brady: Took 5 months to schedule in. After my test they got the date wrong by 16 years and the license branch wouldn't take it WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE
makayla mickelson: Wouldn’t send my child anywhere else! Mr. B was exceptional. He develops relationships with every teen that walks through their door. He genuinely cares about each and every student. Thanks Precision Driving!
Jennifer Mccauley: We have been so pleased with precision! The instructor, Jason, has been incredible ! My son enjoys going to class and has learned so much ! Highly recommend!!!

Fort Wayne Obedience Training Club: what do users think?
Carrie Bubb: We joined after taking a pre-novice obedience training class. My daughter is really interested in dog training and wanted to get her dog qualified as a Canine Good Citizen. She ended up really enjoying doing obedience and agility.Everyone was very welcoming and is very patient with newcomers. You don't have to be a "pro" to participate.FWOTC offers all different types of classes, and they have a variety of events. If you are interested in working with your dog or puppy to improve his/her behavior, or if you are interested in getting involved in getting qualifications for your sog, or even in competing, the FWOTC has a good option for you.One issue is the location. (This is the only reason that I gave four stars instead of five.) The location is very far to the north of Fort Wayne by the Allen County Fairgrounds. There is a LOT of traffic out that way which adds to the drive time. So... it is not conveniently located at all, unless you live on the far north. But for us, there have been times when I could not sign my daughter up for the training classes that she wanted to take in the evenings because by the time the class was over and we made the drive home, it would have been very, very late. I (really) wish it were more centrally located. But, overall, we are glad to have joined and will probably renew the membership.
Allison Caley: As a certified dog trainer myself, I enjoy taking my puppies to group classes for socialization. It’s also a good learning opportunity! I was extremely disappointed with multiple aspects of the training. And it’s employees. Firstly JJ was wonderful, and seemed very Knowledgeable, and in my opinion should have been the only one running the puppy class. The other instructors, were quite rude and did not seem to know what they were doing. Trainers are supposed to help you and support you through training. They seemed more interested in telling clients all they are doing wrong, rather than supporting them and correcting them kindly. Also at least 2 puppies were given choke chain collars, due to pulling while walking. If you as a reputable trainer are to ever give someone an adversive tool you must teach them how to use them properly. The collars were being used by the owners without any proper instruction. I’d recommend going with a Herm sprenger prong, rather than the choke chain. I personally felt like this establishment is being run by people who are stuck in their ways, who aren’t willing to adjust to new standards in dog training. I do not recommend. The reason they get 2 stars is purely because of JJ. She is great!
Alex (Alex): My dog is beyond basic obedience training and I wanted to prep for dog sports (rally and agility) and learn in an environment that I could then practice on my equipment at home.Despite my requests to have a test out they persisted that I either have my dog titles already or I take their basic obedience class. Even then you have to be voted in to the dog sport classes.I’m sorry, but you should be able to tell the handlers experience from speaking to them as well as gauge their level of commitment and interest in the activity.Put a really really bad taste in my mouth for this “club” that they’re being so exclusive and unwilling to work with people. Very gate keeping behavior almost fraternity/sorority exclusivity toxicness. My search to learn about dog sports continues elsewhere unless they are willing to let me bring my dog in and prove to them that he’s beyond their basics and ready for more advanced and challenging training.
melissa rassman: We have been off and on members for a few years now. We have 2 dogs that attend classes. We had one of our dogs get attacked while on a walk in our housing addition. I emailed and asked to have someone from the club call. They called and we discussed some options. We tried another class and each person in the class was given a heads up that my dog had been attacked and needed some extra space and time to understand not all dogs will attack them. Trainers at the club are understanding and caring. They are volunteers not paid trainers so they may not be able to answer every question but they will tell you who can answer your question if they don't know the answer. It's a great place to work with your dog and help them burn some energy.
Cynthia Gevaart: I took the AKC Star puppy class with my six month old puppy. This is supposed to be a positive training experience for puppies. That's not how they teach it. We were encouraged to be the Alpha (dominate them) of our puppy and to do leash pops to get the behaviours. One large breed puppy was physically forced to do a sit and down while fighting it the whole time. It was very bad training and we didn't finish the class.
Kate Goodwin: We took our rescue dog here, who had, some trauma in his little life, we were not happy and eventually stopped going. They are very much pro choker collar and yelling when the dog doesn’t do something right. Our dog was not happy here and learned very little. I do not recommend this place, save your money and go to a real trainer who teaches through positive reinforcement not through choking
Steve N: This place is not a good place to take your dog to get trained. They try and cram entirely too many people in to too short of time and it is not worth the price. There are far better places to go where your dog will not get overwhelmed by being crammed in such a small place with so many other other people and dogs around.
Loretta Herb: So happy to be a part of this great club. As the owner of a very easily distracted dog, trainer encouragement is key. With the never give up instructor input we have come so far. I would highly recommend taking classes at FWOTC.
Les Matheson: My wife and I have taken our dogs thru two FWOTC Obedience classes and have had a very good experience. We and our dogs have learned a ton! Steve Wheeler is an excellent instructor and mentor - patient with a wealth of experience and good advice. Classes are an enjoyable learning experience.
Katie Sweeney: I have taken a few dogs through the puppy and adult obedience classes. The instructors have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Six years ago, I enjoyed the public classes so much, I have joined the club. I now teach and take my dog to trials. FWOTC is a great place to not only learn how to train your dog obedience, but it is a great place to make friends and give back to the community.
Donna Hyser: I have taken 3 obedience classes and 2 agility classes. The instructors are very helpful. My puppy gets very excited when we are in the parking lot because he enjoys socializing with the other dogs there. He has made a lot of 4 and 2 legged friends. Excited to take the next class.
Teacher Techy: If you are wanting to train for obedience trials, this would be ok. The beginner classes introduce basic concepts (better instructions can be found online) and then you continue to work on them at home-which is to be expected. Most of the class is spent walking your dog in circles. If your dog has issues or if you have concerns other than how to get your dog to sit, lay, etc. for trials, this is NOT the class for you despite their website's claim that "We also can help you with problems like digging, chewing, pulling, barking, and housetraining. Our trainers can answer almost any question you might have about training your dog." VERY misleading. We train you for trials would be MUCH more accurate. I do think they do a good job of that.Instructors, while wonderful people, care little about dogs who are not properly socialized prior to class and do not work with you to help you and your dog overcome distractions which inevitably occur in a small building with three different training areas. One instructor when asked a question about how to get a dog to stop pulling, said "I don't know." and walked away quickly. There is also a 4 page application that you must fill out to be "accepted" into the classes. It's more of a formality than something the club and instructors read with the goal of helping your dog. If you do apply, don't take time to write in detail because they don't read it.
