Halal Eats: what do users think?
Milan Doshi: Great food and music! I had the falafel wrap with spicy sauce, and I’d totally get it again. The owner was awesome and very friendly as well. Do yourself a favor, check this place out.
Tyler Nygren: Great food, great staff, and a great environment! Both indoor and outdoor dining is available, as well as online ordering for takeout.Vegetarian options: Very vegetarian friendly!Parking: This is part of a shopping area with lots of parking.Dietary restrictions: Falafel is naturally gluten free! Called ahead to confirm with staff that there would be celiac safe options.
Trish C: I have gone here twice now and the staff seems to always skimp on the quantity of food. We got a large rice which cost us $.9.71 and the amount was extremely little considering that this is just some plain rice with herbs and spices and no protein or veggies (see image for reference). It's insane to charge so much for just some rice with nothing in it. I'm also from an eastern culture and very aware of how cheap and easy it is to make rice. I will not be coming back here.
Z Z: Giving it three stars. The place definitely needs to be updated. It almost seems like it’s dirty. It could just be the Decour. I wanted to get the three meat special but they were out of kebab and I would have to wait 20 minutes to get the kebab. So then I asked for the two meat special with chicken and steak and the guy said no he couldn’t do that. It would have to be chicken and kebab and I would have to wait 20 minutes. doesn’t make any sense at all. I ended up getting the chicken wrap. It was way too rich with garlic sauce. They need to brighten it up with more vegetables.
NE NE: Owner is generous! But if you’re getting the order from staff, watch out. They may hand out $9 large plate of rice for a small half full plate. And upon calling later they will say it was not large and it was a $8 plate. How can someone justify a half full plate for $8 especially in the month of Ramadan when people have to open fast on a specific time and cant come back . And the staff member asked if I speak Arabic as if that would make any difference to his customer service
Mark Schroeder: Clean, food was spot on....I have not tasted anything close to kabobs or chicken since I have been back in the states.
tammie hilliard: Meat Shwarma is amazing and the baba ghanoush makes you wanna lick the bowl
Zuheir Mahdi: Tasty food, clean place, nice people

Cole Sanford: Stopped in while on Tour and playing Pierre's.A couple of the crew guys are vegan, and I like shwarma, and this was a cheap and easy option. All the vegan guys got falafel platters and loved the generous portions and extra pita. I got a chicken shwarma wrap with extra Garlic Sauce, I loved the flavor, and the person at the counter made sure that it was made the way I liked it. Give it a shot before a concert or if you're just in the area.
Tara Weber: We were traveling through the area and came across this place. Hands down the best meal I've ever had! So flavorful and my bowl was huge. Definitely worth stopping at! 🤤

Elijah’s Restaurant & Bakery: what do users think?
james cantrell: Great service
Ryan: Great food, elevated vibe, top notch service. Options for everyone.
Noah Curtis: Best potato appetizer my wife and I have ever had. Food itself was also delicious, wonderfully seasoned, very flavorful. I had the ground Turkey goulash and she had the sophisticated lady (a salmon dish). Got some caramel apple pie to go! Chef Mohammed was awesome, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We are from out of town but if we are ever back in Ft. Wayne, we WILL be stopping by again!
Gwendolyn Gaddy: Great atmosphere with good music. The food was delicious as well as healthy with many choices that also included vegan. Loved it and definitely will be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Wings, Stuffed Cabbage Wraps, Bean Pie …More

Ammar A: What a gem this restaurant is! I was stuck in downtown Fort Wayne for three days and I stopped in each of those days. It was a couple minutes walk from the Hampton Inn which I stayed at. There wasn't much to offer in the area in regards to vegetarian options so it was an easy decision to make to come to Elijah's. The first night I was there I had the vegetarian lasagna. It was really good and was stuffed with veggies. The barbeque sauce added a pleasant and funky curve ball kick.Night two I had the Mediterranean pizza, raspberry iced tea, and a slice of the navy bean pie. Again, the food was delicious. The pizza was large enough that it be easily shared with second person. I actually ate the rest for breakfast on day three lol. I was intrigued with the navy bean pie so I had to try it. It's similar in taste and texture to pumpkin pie, but pumpkin pie doesn't hold a candle to Chef Kevin's navy bean pie!Day three I was nearing the end of the day and my wife texted that she was having a pie craving, so I walked on over to Elijah's and told Chef Kevin that I had a problem that he could easily solve. I ended up purchasing a whole navy bean pie to take back to CEO of my life. She loved it!This is wonderful little restaurant with jazzy vibes and relaxing ambiance. The staff was very accommodating and makes you feel right at home. Chef Kevin is a pretty cool guy. Menu is impressive with vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and halal options.I will definitely stop in next time I'm in Fort Wayne!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and halal options.
Amber Gonzalez: This was such a great dining experience! The service was exceptionally friendly. The food was spectacular! We cannot wait to return :)
Brady Pyrah: I had my hesitations, but they were quickly pushed aside when the food came out. We had the wings and a pizza and they were EXCELLENT! Highly recommend!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mark Robarge: 100% a fantastic experience. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent ambiance. The owner is personable, friendly and dedicated to customer service.
Madelyn Stewart: My sister and I ordered the pizza and banana waffles for carryout. The service was great and the food was delicious. I will be ordering here again!! Peace and blessings Chef Muhammad.
William Bourne: A great restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne. I have eaten there twice in the last two months. I had the Salmon both times and requested it with green beans! Great wonderful taste delight! Both times we had great discussions with the chef/owner. A great person and we wish him great success. They also have a great Vegan menu as a person in the party enjoyed vegan chicken wings. The sauce he uses on several dishes are from his grandfather. Make sure you save room for dessert. I love cheese cake and his menu is like New York style. So Fort Wayne please support this great place.Vegetarian options: Has a separate Vegan menu.Parking: After 5pm park free along Ewing Street.
Bean Meeks: A lovely, welcoming restaurant. The owner is a friendly, hospitable gentleman and a fabulous cook. Plenty of vegan options. I had the vegan wings, wow where they good, the sauce was awesome. Will definitely visit again.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options
Rebecca Burns: Delicious food, great service, Cozy romantic environment. Great experience!Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options! Lots of vegan seafood options tooDietary restrictions: All Halal/Kosher meat and lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Jordan Ward: Interesting vegetarian, halal and kosher menu - whoever they have in the kitchen is doing a fantastic job. My wife got the mediterranean pizza and I got a croissant with potato salad on it - her pizza was delicious (and big - we took half home) and my croissant was flaky and tasty. Fresh ingredients and interesting flavors on both items made me want to go back and try more items! They offered wine but not beer or liquor - FYI.
Skyler Haas: Our experience at Elijah's was excellent. Coffee was some of the best I've had, and the goulash was amazing, even better than grandma's (sorry grandma)! Our compliments to Chef Kevin for his service and quality of cooking. Highly recommend stopping in!
Robert Howell: Great tasting vegetarian options. The waitress we had was awesome and met our every request. The food was a very pleasant surprise that tasted great. Prices are very reasonable especially with their location being in downtown. My fiancé and I stopped for dinner and the bill was just under 40$ for two entrées and an appetizer (no alcohol).
LADY_D EVANS: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mozzarella Sticks, Potato Pucks, Bean Pie, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Spinach SaladMore

Tolon: what do users think?
Peter Edwards: We have been to Tolon several times. Always my favorite. 4/8/23 had the noodle bowl for the first time and it was GREAT. Love the food, love the staff (shout out Emily), and love the environment. We will go every chance we get.
Daria Lee: Recommended dishes Duck Ragout Pasta, Duck Fat FritesMore
Aubrey Laskowski: ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. I came to visit Ft. Wayne from out of town and had a few bad culinary experiences while there, but Tolon made my trip completely worth it. I got the Tolon spiced tea (which I bought a sachet of to bring home), biscuits, and vegetarian breakfast rice. Our waitress was kind, polite, and talkative; she made great suggestions, but I doubt anything on their menu was bad. Seriously amazing food, if you're in Ft. Wayne it's a must-try.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options, but even more importantly they mentioned on the menu when something was optionally vegetarian!
Giselle Bustrum: Fabulous atmosphere! Devoured every morsel of food. I recommend the butternut soup, so good for the soul!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salad, Deviled Eggs, Duck Fat Frites …More

August Yingling: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tolon, an upscale restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful decor - the walls were adorned with stunning murals, and the natural wood tables lent a cozy, yet chic vibe to the place. The kitchen was also visible, which added to the overall ambiance. The menu was diverse, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. However, what stood out to me was the kale and apple salad. It was truly exquisite, with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the presentation was also impeccable. Now, I do have to mention one slight disappointment during my visit - the absence of fries on the menu. As someone who loves a good plate of fries, I couldn't help but feel that my experience would have been even better if I had been able to indulge in some crispy goodness. However, this did not detract from the overall quality of the meal.In conclusion, if you're looking for a restaurant that offers both exceptional food and a visually stunning atmosphere, Tolon is definitely worth a visit. While I did miss having fries with my meal, the kale and apple salad more than made up for it.
Logan Black: The food was fantastic. We love coming to the Tolon for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. Tracy Mantel: My group had a great time at Tolon- and even last minute accommodated our two separate reservations so we could eat together. Fantastic cocktails, great service, overall just a fantastic experience. Not pictured the delicious deviled eggs (because we were so excited we couldn’t stop for pictures), my husband had the pork chop and I had the bison pasta. Delicious!
Amy Barr: First time visit did NOT dissapoint!Definately try the squash soup for starts!!Any meal is worthy!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joseph Vaccaro: Love coming here for brunch. This place is great every other day or night of the week but the brunch menu is my favorite. Chicken and waffles, best in town, best I have ever had. Kitchen is super clean. Execution is perfect. Decor and service is bar none. The bar serves up local premium spirits. The old fashioned has a cinnamon taste and is delicious. You will need a reservation if you want to have a table. Bar is usually open with a few seats. Don't miss out.
Darren Barnes: I really wanted to like Tolon. The concept and menu sounded delicious, but in the end poor execution left me wanting. We went for brunch and left quite disappointed. We each ordered a Bloody Mary to drink and some of the biscuits everyone seemed to be raving about. For entrées I had the shrimp and grits and my wife the chicken & waffles.I love all manner of Bloody Mary, but made it about halfway through this one before I had to throw in the towel. Each sip was just a mouthful of horseradish finished with watered down tomato juice. I didn't get any other flavors, including the spirit. I typically love a horseradish heavy Bloody Mary and I have sampled tons of house Bloody mixes that were amazing. This just missed the mark entirely. With no other flavor to offset the horseradish and the house mix being nothing more than flavorless tomatoes run through a juicer it was ultimately undrinkable. The biscuits were honestly the only part of the visit that demonstrated any culinary aptitude whatsoever. Dense, flavorful, appropriately seasoned and baked to perfection. I can see why these are the big take away for so many patrons. However, even on this plate the house made berry bourbon jam was a disappointment. Not a jam at all, just a runny syrup with a few macerated berries. My shrimp and grits were as inedible as my Bloody was undrinkable. Blackened shrimp fell victim to what happens to many blackened dishes prepared by anything other than a chef with a lot of experience in the style. Just a mouthful of black pepper and old bay. Barely even picked up any shrimp flavor on the back end. Offset this with grits and andouille so salty that I'm pretty sure they altered my serum osmolality. I ate maybe 5 bites before calling it.Wife's chicken was similarly problematic. While the texture of the breading was close to that of a good Nashville hot chicken, the flavor was nothing but a mouthful of black pepper. At this point I'm seeing a trend in this kitchen 🤔.I have often been accused of liking food too spicy, and I enjoy all manner of strong flavors. So for me to have these complaints... It wasn't that anything was too spicy or strong, the flavors were just wrong.Bottom line: we ultimately spent a lot of money on food that just wasn't prepared well and didn't taste good. Our server, after over emphasizing the farm to table shtick to the point of tedium, failed to recognize that there was a bunch of picked over food on the table which clearly had not been enjoyed. When a table asks for the check and they have barely touched their meals you might want to investigate beyond the fact that they do not want boxes for any of it.2 stars for effort.I reserve 1 star for full on calamity or complete lack of customer service, but I really cannot imagine being enticed to return to Tolon. Especially with delicious options like Nawa & Mercado right across the street.P.S. Any establishment with negative reviews which mention the owner by name, confirmed by the owner's argumentative and unprofessional replies should be a HUGE red flag to anyone with half a brain. At this point I'm just thankful we didn't encounter Nicky during our visit! 😂
Abimael Gutiérrez: My friend and I had the ribeye topped with butter with Yukon gold potatoes. The portion was substantial. The food was very good. I had an old fashioned to drink as well. We had the most expensive meal by far. Two can usually get out of here for under $60, but our bill was $120. Our waiter was excellent and right on top of things. He saw I splattered grease from my steak on my shirt and offered some soda water to clean up without me asking. Parking here is difficult. At 5:15 on a Friday, we had to circle the block several times to catch someone pulling out.
Rick Crow: The staff were great as was the food. We were there for brunch and both had the dutch baby. Warning: one of those could feed at least two people … especially if you have the drop biscuits before … oof! I’d like to see more breakfast food options offered with the brunch menu, personally, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had.Recommended dishes Dutch Baby, French Press Coffee …More

Rosalind Walker-Lewis: First time visit with my husband and during Savor Fort Wayne 2023. Appetizers were pork belly fried rice and kale / apple salad. Both had great portions and very flavorful. Entrees were the Pork Chop and Ribeye. Both were sooo good. Portions gave us leftovers! Great two times! Dessert was chocolate sorbet with roasted coconut shavings. Meals are a little pricey; but very much worth it!Cozy space. Dillan took very good care of us... Reservations needed...Dietary restrictions: Meals labeled with restrictions

I ask how much was the tax, the tax was 5 dollar so it should have been 67+5 is $72 they said there charge for transaction fees of $15 that I have to pay?!! They hang up the phone because I ask about the fees. Be careful you won’t notice even dining they are charging you guys fees that they not supposed to charge.

Fin Germiass: Service was great and food was even better. Hands down best falafel around. Definitely worth going to and will be back again.
Jacquelyn Johnson Taefi: We had a many course tasting. It was between lunch and dinner on Sunday they had a few tables but we’re not busy. We started with falafel which was very tasty and not at all greasy for a fried item. Second we tried the ezogelin and vegetable soups. Both were a delicious, huge portion (we took half home for later). We moved on to our entrees which were an Iskender kabob that came with naan bread, rice, roasted tomatoe and pepper covered in a tomato with special spices sauce that was delicious. I was a little surprised that the rice has cinnamon in it but mixed with all the the flavors it was delicious. My sister had sac kavurma beef which included rice and vegetables that she said were cooked perfectly and were also very delicious. The beef for both was very tender and flavorful. The portions for both were also large and we took some home to save room for the baklava and saffron ice cream which can only be described as YUM. We ate all of the dessert as ice cream doesn’t keep well 😁. We definitely enjoyed expanding our horizons.
Philip Tieszen: Incredible dining experience from top to bottom. Great atmosphere, tasty dishes and generous portions.
Alissa Doehla: Fantastic food. Yummy hummus and salad. The lunch sandwiches are wonderful and come with a delicious salad on the side. If you are on the fence about going, go! You won't regret eating at Deema.
