WaterFurnace: what do users think?
Jon Scotty: Just looking for blower motor only sell to hvac ripoff men bought it at Amazon 140.00 dollars Amazon wins again
David W: The first waterfurnace I had was still working after 25 years, to bad the old design is not still for sale (like coke classic). The second waterfurnace in our new home had several issues the last of which was an evaporator coil the went out after 8 years of use. The warranty left over $500 of uncovered expence.
Demere Gebremikael: Friendly and Nice people thanks keep up
Leslie Amtmann: One cannot possibly recoup the cost from monthly savings on other energy bills for this very expensive and unreliable equipment. First Water Furnace failed after 9 years; second failed after 13 years. New equipment (28 months old) has failed again. Out of pocket so far more than $36,000. Buyer beware.
Austin Geisleman: Upper management is full of discrimination
Laura Meyer: The new WaterFurance works perfect The WiFi control is great. This new furnace will run on my 13000 watt backup generator!
Merle Minick: Very efficient , temperature, is much better, worth the money
Joe Morgan: Very quiet furnace compared to the previous two that we have owned. Really like the features of the new thermostat used to control the unit.Unit was built and shipped in a relatively short period of time.
Edgaredmanuel Troche: Our 17 y/o HydroHeat system fails us a couple months ago, we decided to change it with a WaterFurnace 7 series. It's been almost 3 weeks now with our new unit, and it is needless to say the 7 series is a game changer. It is impressive the amount of info the system relies and the ease of access to it thanks to the Aurora weblink. Also, power consumption is a fraction compared with our old unit, 100% Recommend water furnace.
James Presuto: I've used Water Furnace products in my home for over thirty years. Very happy with the comfort and no components outside to hear or to be exposed to the elements. My electric bills are very reasonable. Summer is the least expensive.
Andrew Erickson: We had one of the original water furnaces and it went out. Mark and his crew ordered and installed a new one. The crew was professional, on time and cleaned up. Now we have a more efficient water furnace. Thank you Mark at Michiana Water Furnace and crew.
Michael McKinney: We had Wallpe Heating and Cooling install a series five Water Furnace coupled to a Lennox air handling furnace. Wallpe did a great job, all of the Wallpe Team members were knowledgeable, highly skilled, hard working and very courteous. Gene Wallpe, the owner personally review what needed to be done and his team did the job right. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing a geothermal heating / cooling system.
Jim Samardelis: I just had my geothermal system replaced with the Waterfurnace series 5 system. The system that was previously in place lasted a poltry 3.5 years before a catastrophic failure occurred. The coaxial coil began leaking freon and the system would continually lock out due to low temp error...LT 1 below 32 degrees for more than 20 seconds. The system was NOT A WATER FURNCE SYSTEM...to be very clear. I had a ten year warranty but to replace the defective component you had to strip out the internal contents( mechanical and electronic). This repair could obviously add additional problems based on the complexity of the repair. Also I couldnt find anyone in the area that serviced and maintained theses systems. To make it short they offered no service and very limited support. Thanks to a recommendation from a neighbor Wenzel heating & air-conditioning/ geo came to my rescue. They provide an excellent quote and completed in one day. They are now my life long plumging and heating specialist. They are a great representative for you product.Jim
Neil: It’s been 4 months since the 7 series was installed, and what an amazing machine! It is saving me a ton to heat my house.
Logan Tait: I called water furnace about the $30k system I had installed in my home. I just had a few simple questions about my thermostat. From the receptionist to the tech, no one was interested in helping me in a courteous fashion. The receptionist was rude and the tech couldn’t explain anything at all to me. I gave them 2 stars because I really like our system. The support, however, is a joke.
John Byich: High quality furnace and nice installation. Seems to be a very well built. As long as it lasts I will be happy. Would like to see water furnace enhance the symphony package to include some more of the data for the end user not just the service techs. Would like to have access to refrigerant circuit temps and pressures for trend monitoring.
Bob Farr: The Waterfurnace is a replacement for our original Geo furnace. Removal of the old unit and installation of the new WaterFurnace by Bill Wenzel Heating & A/C was smooth and professionally done. So far we are extremely satisfied with the unit and installation.
Andrew Omstead: Poor customer service. I ordered parts from them 3 weeks ago and they never arrived. They told me they would be there in 2 days. No call or email to let me know about a delay or a canceled order. This is after they sent out the wrong part and would not accept a return. 👎
Herb Hopkins: Our new WaterFurnace geothermal system is great. The installers were very professional and did a great job. I love that it heats our hot water tank as well!
Paul Blanchard: If you're building new or remodeling an existing system, the only way to go is a geothermal water furnace. You are limiting your land footprint; it is 300-500% efficient compare to 90%; it is a renewable resource; does not produce greenhouse gases; it is simple and reliable; increases the value of your home; can supply heat and air conditioning. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
Joe N: We have only had our new water furnace for a few weeks now, but we can already see the benefits over our older (14 year old) air source heat pump; Warmer air from registers, much quieter (inside & outside the house), practically unlimited hot water, and although it’s still early, compared to previous months our usage appears much lower (we are able to view our energy consumption on the stat & through our power company’s App). We will need to trend it and compare to last years costs. **Also, Very Pleased with our installer too.‘Shout out to Western Hills Heating & Air.’Very professional, including the estimator, installers, drillers, and even the owner & group in their office. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Wayne Combustion Systems: what do users think?
Paul Ulrich: The products are high quality. The employees are attentive and intelligent. American products, made in America with pride, what's not to like?
Keri Collette: I bought my boiler from Wayne Combustion Systems 9 years ago and it is now leaking water. I need a new boiler but they keep going back and forth with the manufacturer williamson to see who is responsible for the warrantee. Yesterday they said that they needed pictures of the leak. I had to have my oil heating company come back out and take the outer covering off the boiler to take the pictures. After sending them to Wayne Combustion they call and say that by looking at the pictures they are able to tell that the issue isn't a manufacturing defect but a seal leak, how they can tell that I don't know. When I said that to the sales manager who called me about it he said that if I wanted to take the boiler apart and ship it to them, and I would pay all shipping costs, then they would look at it in person and they may come to a different decision. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!!!! Who would and could do that? Now I have to go out and buy a new boiler out of pocket because I'm in Rhode Island and we are still having freezing temps and snow storms and I need heat and hot water. My heating company has been around since 1923 and they said they have never seen a company give a customer this much trouble with a warrantee. I wouldn't buy anything from them again. Obviously they don't care about customer satisfaction and standing by their product.
