Red: Brought in my Xbox hoping to sell it(they didn’t offer nearly enough) and I don’t know if it’s just proper protocol or what but they factory reset my Xbox basically deleting all my games and data before I even said yes to selling it to them(thanks mega replay can’t wait to spend the next few hours redownloading all my data, games, apps, and re logging in on everything ) I also left a game in it accidentally which they never brought up and I only found out about it when I got my Xbox back(so they were just gonna take the game without paying me a dime)
Breydan Meyer: Brought in a basically brand new Nintendo switch still in the box and everything with it, an Xbox one s that’s in decent condition, and an oculus quest in more than decent condition. They wouldn’t take the oculus quest which is fine but for the Xbox and switch they offered me 150 bucks… I could find a homeless man willing to pay more than what they did and I had to wait 2 and a half hours. Would rate it negative stars if I could, DONT COME HERE
Steven Scheibelhut: The staff is good, helpful, informative, nerdy,awesome. There is a lot of store that consumes the space with old DVDs and games that I don't see a lot of people buying. The inventory of good product from trades has been low since Christmas. And... AND... they turned all their Funko POPs around so you can't see the front. For me, that kyboshes any reason for me to even go there. However, I recognize their benefit, and rank as 3 stars because you might just find the thing you're looking for.

Justin Laney: This location appears to be under two listings under different titles, Disc Replay and Mega Replay. I found the Disc Replay listing which states they close at 8 PM on Sundays. Hours are incorrect on listing and I entered the store "after hours". Wasted a trip out of our way. Staffing was rude and basically told us to leave in very short order with nothing preventing entry with a lot of people still in the building and another group or two looking like they got similar treatment.Based on quite a few negative reviews regarding staff behavior, business practices on trade ins, and the reliability of said products I probably didn't miss much. Can't recommend on the unfriendly staff alone. Won't be back.
Jonathan Atkins: They aren't very helpful. There's no catalog of what they have so you are reduced to looking at racks and cabinets of games. It's next to impossible to see tiny cartridges and other small items laid flat, through a glass window. They have folders of GBA games inside a glass cabinet. How are you supposed to see them without getting a worker to open a cabinet and stand there, annoyed that you are looking through it to perhaps buy something. They treated my son as less than a customer, and he felt the disrespect. He was excited to see the place at first, but the workers and lack of catalog killed the experience.YMMV is about all you can expect here.

Justin Laney: Closes at 7 PM on Sundays. Hours are incorrect on listing which says 8 PM. Wasted a trip out of our way. Staffing was rude and basically told us to leave with nothing preventing entry with a lot of people still in the building. Seemed like they had plenty of selection and it was pretty big inside but was entirely unable to shop due to the negative experience.

Erica McGlone: I went in here with 2 xbox 360 and multiple games. Both Xbox 360s had 250gb hard drives each when I took them in. One had issues with the draw other had red lighted. Told them of issues they still said they would look at them. I waited until they finished and got what they wouldn't buy. I got home and planned to throw out the 360s after pulling the hard drives out. When I opened the side panel on the 1 that had red lighted my hard drive was missing. When I called they claimed they didn't take it. Said 1 of my kids must have taken it out. REALLY. It was in there when i dropped it off. Don't take anything into this location, they like to steal then refuse to buy. THEIVES

Alexander Cottrell: Came in to return a few games purchased a week before. Reason was because I wasn’t satisfied with the games and was told that I could return them in under 14 days. I was refused to be given all my money back because the games weren’t “broken” and the worker tried to rip me off with “In store credit” which wasn’t even 50% of the initial price of the games purchased. I have always had such great experiences here and this one time ruined it for me. A return is a damn return no matter what whether you don’t like the game or if it’s broken. It’s frustrating to a customer who would like their money back.

Alex Langford: If the guy with dyed hair is working when you're planning on shopping at the Glenbrook GameStop, just go to Jefferson Pointe instead. I was in today, trying to buy Pokemon cards, because a lot of surrounding stores are either completely out, or don't have the new sets. Before even getting to the register, I noticed the guy was on his phone. At the register, the transaction was going fine until he stated that my PowerUp Rewards membership had expired. I told him that I didn't need to renew today, and he asked if I was sure, because the membership would "pay for itself", meaning with discounts and rewards. I said again that I would wait, because renewing was not a priority today. I just wanted to buy my cards and leave. He then had the audacity to ask WHY I did not want to renew today. It is not the cashier's business why a customer does not want to renew a membership. They should not be asking a customer this. I once again said no thanks. My husband even chimed in and said we did not want to renew. The cashier had the gall to ask, "Can I get a word in?" No. You've lost that privilege. He should have dropped it after the second time I said no. My husband and I have both worked in retail, we understand when cashiers have to push credit card sign-ups or membership renewals. It's a disgusting behavior created by companies. I'm used to getting asked a couple times at other stores. But when a customer says no, no thank you, or I don't want to do that right now, the cashier needs to respect that and drop it. My husband asked if I wanted to go somewhere else, and I said yes, and in my anger, I may have said a few choice words, but I feel like they were provoked, thanks to his behavior. From the looks of a few other Google reviews and Facebook posts, many other people have had problems with this particular employee here. Some of the bad reviews date back five or six months. He's definitely driving customers away from your store.

K Jones: It took me a minute to think about this review. I made a couple transactions at this place seen the associates. I figured them to be some what knowledgeable in some aspects and they are. The reason for one star is I had to bad experiences at this particular store. Black Friday I wanted to assist a friend to trade in a Xbox One X for an X series S. I believe his name was Chris tried telling me that my machine was more powerful than the what I wanted to trade in for. Bruh. I brought this 6 year old xbox one x to get a new one and your about to argue about specs with me alright cool whatever. We got the Xbox. I also pre ordered Callisto Protocol and ordered the wrong version. It was a hinest mistake so I figured I would take it back see if I can get the updated copy for my Series X. It was a Thursday and dead in the store. I was literally only person there . This short dude, looked me dead in and told me I could not exchange it for the updated copy it was too early to do that. Don't understand that policy or whatever when I am literally asking for the same game. No reason was given or whatever. I sold it to MEGA REPLAY out of frustration because it ran bad.. Didnt even try to compromise or assist with the problem. Like man put yourself in my shoes. Its annoying already that games are expensive and your telling me i cannot trade towards the updated version ?? Twice I had to put up with incompetence. Simple stuff. It was very frustrating I encourage those who come here to know your stuff. They get away with petty tactics and at times have smart remarks. I reccomend just going to a different location. You may leave unhappy or questioning whether you spent your time wisely at this store.
Alexander Babb: Stood at the register for 10 minutes trying to purchase a game with my wife and sister in law. The clerk noticed we were there but refused to work the register instead choosing to talk to a friend about keyboards. Atleast 3 other customers entered and left without the clerk ever acknowledging there were other people in the store.
Roscoe Reels (Kevin Miller): The Pokémon Crown Zenith ETBs are wayyyyyy overpriced! They are trying to rob people that don’t know any better. They price matched me though but had I not known I would have spend $15 more on a $49.99 product. The employee then wouldn’t shut up about signing up to be a GameStop power rewards member to get a some money off off their overpriced Pokémon cards. In the end if they don’t price match this membership is so stupid.

Remy Fisher: I was told the wrong information about Power Up Rewards when trying to buy one game and ended up spending way more money than what I had originally planned. The cashier was incorrect when saying some of the money would go back onto my card the next day. I called the store manager explaining the situation and wanting some of my money back and he denied the plausibility of my circumstance, completely claiming that he knows his employees and that offense would be grounds for termination. He lied about being able to get a refund on the Power Up Pro after becoming very hostile with me. Overall really bad experience in the store and with customer service, I wouldn't recommend ever going here.

Eventually he told me he didn't think he knew what I was looking for because I am a girl. I found this highly offensive and when I picked out an elite trainer box he told me I should reconsider buying that one. I will never be back to this location! I left without purchasing.
Dylan Whitacre: Guy with dyed hair and arm tattoo is probably the worst salesman ever. If you want to go in and buy a product you shouldn’t have to argue with the cashier on why you want it. Recommend getting that fixed. First time I had to verbally argue with a coworker to buy a product. Oh and the bigger guy was right by his side rubbing his back trying to back him up
swalotttt: Manager with dyed grey hair and tattoo lied and tried to charge $5 for a free promotional card for my disabled client who was there. Made fun of stutter. Called Jefferson Pointe to ask if it was free, they said it was free company-wide. He threatened to call security for me saying that he lied. He wanted to pocket the money. Never visiting Glenbrook Gamestop again, only go to Jefferson Pointe.

Russell Gibson: My son bought a pre-owned XBox One with 1TB storage on Gamestops website. He Received a defected console, disc drive not functioning and pieces sound loose inside console. Able to take to our local Gamestop here in Fort Wayne, where we never had any issues prior, they had always been helpful, and this time was no different. Was able to trade our defected console with another pre-owned XBox, however when we got home realized the XBox they gave us was only 500GB. When I called the following day to inform them of the mistake, I was told there were no 1 TB XBox One on entire Gamestop website and they could upgrade me to a different console for $40 more.I was not willing to pay $40 more and was told by management nothing else could be done except put my name on list when a 1 TB became available. When asked about Gamestop crediting my account because we already paid $40 more to get a 1 TB over 500GB, the Manger said he could not do that and the XBox One 1TB and 500GB were essentially the same, even though they charged $40 more. Very disappointed in Gamestop, I told my son we will take our business elsewhere from now on. My 9 year old son feels cheated and ashamed a company would do this to a child just to earn a buck. I am a very disappointed father and it sickens me Gamestop is willing to cheat a 9 year old out of his hard earned money.UPDATE: Clint was able to resolve all issues with above problems. So I scored a 5 since Clint had great customer service. Thank you Clint

It's hard to find controllers here, even used, and the Series X, OLED Switch, and PS5 are still perpetually sold out. They do still take broken controllers on trade though, which helps take the sting out of ordering new ones.

Terri Shaver: I went into GameStop with a Cube disc stuck in my PlayStation 4 slim. 2 very nice salespeople (one being the manager) tried to fix it for me. They both worked at least a half hour on it. We still didn’t get it out but they definitely gave it their best shot. I would highly recommend them. Jefferson Pointe
Reasha Bridges: Would not refund me... had the receipt for a Christmas gift I bought my son. It was headphones 🎧 that he could not use with his iPad. He never wore them, only opened the box to power them on and tried to connect them.. 100 dollar pair of headphones!! Upon initial buying, I was told they would definitely pair by the sales rep that sold them to me, and that if not, I could return for a full refund!!! They did, however, give me store credit, and I was able to get a different universal set. Still the fact that they wouldn't refund me the money was ridiculous 😒 🙄

Joel Sinn: Shop at the other Fort Wayne stores if possible, this store charges you for Gameplay guarantee and will not take it off when you ask. An ex-employee also told me that this store's employees have been told to always charge the max refurbish fee even when a game traded in looks fine.

I quit coming in to GameStop three years ago, after I had a negative experience back to back (all in the same exact day!) at 3 different locations; as the service that I had received was horrendous!!Today, I decided to give them another chance, at the Apple Glen location. From the moment that I walked into the door, to the moment that I left, the Customer Service that I received LITERALLY Blew Me Out Of The Water!!! It could not have been any better, had the Associate had of tried. He was dealing with myself and several other customers, and with each of us, he made us feel as if we were family! I honestly cannot remember the last time that I have received such amazing service…..Anywhere! I left feeling elated, grateful, blessed, etc. I needed this experience, especially after having endured the past several weeks as I have been healing from some serious back surgery.Kudos to GameStop for having given me such an amazing experience!! You guys definitely need to employ, about 30 more individuals such as the gentleman who you currently have employed at this particular location, as he is hands down the embodiment of what Customer Service truly is about! Thank you for showing me that there is still quality service all around us, and for allowing me to feel like a part of your family!
