NeighborLink Fort Wayne: what do users think?
lisa estep: I had never asked them for help before but seen on the news if we needed help with snow shoveling to contact them.I did and nobody contacted me!
Sybil Brunson: Seems like they are going to assist me with some much needed repairs! Awesome!
E. Wilson: These people are awesome!!!!
Cheryl Miller: Neighborlink is a phenomenal, much-needed organization. Kevin Taylor and crew came out--- cut up and stacked wood, and hauled brush on our property due to the June storm. Very hard workers that spent most of the day helping us. Great job, we are so appreciative...thank you Neighborlink!
Sankofa FortWayne: An organization which values action over posing for photo ops, NeighborLink fills in the gaps and helps folk in Fort Wayne who'd otherwise fall through the cracks.
Grant Mayer: I have nothing but good things to say about this organization. They have helped out the Fort Wayne community in so many ways. this group goes above and beyond.
Conna Walls: Neighbor Link was truly awesome their crew came in and painted several rooms in my house they did a wonderful job they were awesome people I really appreciated their help very much they did a fantastic job I want to thank them so much from the bottom of my heart their help was greatly appreciated more than they will ever know thank you to you all
Paris Armour: A great place to visit 4 people out of town
Sarah Randall: God bless them. We are so grateful for their work for my parents.
Yvonne Jackson: They painted my house and did an awesome job.
Alisa Kinzer: I filled out an application Monday received a call from David Tuesday. I believe he came that same day and took pictures. Wednesday I signed the agreement after telling me the ramp was pre built. Thursday David and his team installed the ramp. I can not express how grateful I am. Because of the social distancing and a sick husband I was unable to meet and thank any of the wonderful men and woman In person. But know I am so thankful for all of you and what you do for others.
David Kattau: Doing amazing things connecting Neighbors with gifts and Neighbors with needs !

Ft Wayne Rescue Ministries: what do users think?
Sherry: Went to this mission with friends. We all got four meals to hand out to one's that can't get out or have any family. This was the Easter dinner. The people that ate it got severe diarrhea. The menu on the website was turkey, ham, and potato salad. They got leftover spaghetti instead of potato salad. I will never do that again. I will find other resources. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Jerri Dillon: The rescue mission only takes men
Cabbie Minister: I think thay need to watch there people that live there alot closer thay do drugs and thay drink n take advantage of lady not a good place at all
Tab Levitas: It's a shame this is the only place you can go to when you're homeless in fort Wayne... They offer a 30 day emergency stay for everyone, if you want longer you must join one of their many faith based life recovery programs. There is there salvation army too, but they make you work for next to no pay effectively slavery... Forced religion, slavery, or pitch a tent and hope the cops don't need with you... Gotta love Fort Wayne!
Linzy Robinson: Thank you for all the wonderful meals. This place is a much needed and appreciated establishment.
Catherine Lewis: i think it was awesome for me, when i was displaced, for them to set me up in a hotel for at least 10 days, it gave me a chance to have income for a motel until things get better and with God it promises to do that. So it's about 10 months later on my journey since being displaced. So grateful for a higher power who chooses to take care of me. He didn't have to but like one of the men that died with him on the cross he asked. That all God wants from us , we'll that a major part of living with God is that He wants us to ask. I used to be so proud that when earlier I didn't even have furniture in my home I didn't even ask the church that I had attended for furniture. So proud, but today because of Jesus I have no problem asking. Thanks be to Jesus. So recently as of October 20. I had to go back to the mission , living at charris house. Setbacks are real but I'm not giving up. I still have dreams. I still have hope and God still loves me. Go figure. Use to do a lot of talking about it but today. I will just have to do. Struggles are a part of life. Wish I could snap my fingers and all would be well. I truly want better, but my struggles run deep. I mean I look good my grooming is better, so much better, and I'm even coping better but handling reality is a very big problem or me. I see people get better so genuinely happy for them . God has such a promising future for all of us. Don't really know how to handle this but to pray. Life has finally taught me giving up is NOT an option. It usually get pretty hard after making that declaration, but I don't care . Let the chips fall where it may. With mental illness it harder. With the recent death of stwitch , dancer from the Ellen show, I'm seeing know that life is going to take much more than I thought. I heard this at a funeral. Sometimes people die to save you or me or us. Something is missing in my life I just want me now. So good news as of February 17, 2023. im still homeless, but i figured out what was causing me the problem. So LW, i will have even better news, but i want to surprise people, even myself. like fantasia said life is no fairytale, but dreams can come true.
Alpplebuttumsup C: Very nice
James Prough: It needs more staff, especially during the winter months to control the flow of homeless people. The staff could be more compassionate but I can understand that dealing with those that don't want to change. This was developed as a launch pad to better ones life, not a permanent residency. I myself appreciate this facility.
Jody Joe: I work alot with these guys down here. The fresh start program that they offer is a life saving program that is helping and changing alot of peoples lives.
Kelly McArdle Miller: This organization serves an underserved population in Fort Wayne and it’s important work. They have a combination of paid staff and volunteers providing meals, shelter and programming to help women, men and children move to the next stage of their journey.Thank you for all you do!!
Wade Wasson: Went there with a buddy of mines elderly father to get some Thanksgiving meals and it was actually very nice.
Kim Olsen: I was dumped off here by the avenues recovery center. It was very over crowded with no one to clearly direct me on anything I could do or anyone to ask questions for what I wanted to accomplish. I was alone in a space full of scary people with so many questions and did not know what to do. It was an awful, terrifying experience for my Thanksgiving day. Thank you Avenues recovery center.
Dave Shaffer: Fort Wayne is lucky to have a facility like this!!
Rick Dever: Great Thanksgiving meals ....thank you so much
Dustin Hart: Great warm place three hot meals and a warm bed.
MICHAEL SHEA GRAY: You know the Ft.Wayne Mission is supposed to be about helping ppl find there way back into the world but instead they treat it like it's a prison, and if you leave and are gone for more than 3 days they do away with your belongings now just how is that helping a person that's trying to get back into society how is that helping them out, it's not bc it just sets them back that much further starting back into society so then there already starting off on the wrong foot heading back into society and there starting back out that way bc the FtWayne mission thats supposed to be helping ppl get back to society is starting them off going in the wrong direction backwards instead of forward????? Now you tell me whats wrong with this picture....
Kathleen Cavazos: Very badly littered, really bad feeling when waiting for service.
Al Fugit: I live here
Sandy Phillips: My daughter was left in Fort Wayne she is from Springfield mo. She has no phone or money. I have not heard from her in 3 days. Her name is Monica if you come in contact with her please have her call home. I am in for her safety and just want her home. God bless.
Dean Johnson: Upon recovery was thrown out due to unreasonable acts of non violent offense and am now banned for 6 months upon throwing my own vape at the wall lol mutiny is what they run.!!
Jerryw Hart: It is becoming a mad house sometimes I felt like cattle being hurded from one area to another no assigned beds first come first get it I'm 73 with arthritis in my knees I had to always take a top bunk it was hard for me to get up and down

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana: what do users think?
Michelle Zaw: Our daughter was born after emergency c-section and had to treated her in Newborn-ICU at Parkview hospital for weeks. We are from 2 hours away from hospital. One of the nurse from NICU referred us to this place , we got a room within a day, amazing lady named Cindy checked us in and explained everything and offered all kinds of help we needed. Because ofRMHC we had access to all kinds of food,(kitchen with fully stock pantry), clean clothes and good rest 24/7, even place to host the family who come visit from hours away.People who work and volunteer are amazing, they give you space you need , and always there if you needed help. We saved a lot of money by staying here. Most importantly we got to spend more time(no amount of money will ever buy that time)with our daughter while she was going through all kinds of difficult treatments for a few days old baby.We accumulated lots of stuff during those weeks, as we were checking out another amazing person name Sarah help us with the moving stuff out of the building. Our daughter is home now and she is doing great. We'll be telling her how grateful and thankful for RMHC and people who work and volunteer there for years to come.
Rhonda Thomas: We provided a meal for the families there. We want to do it again.
Coni Thompson: The staff are very compassionate towards guests who need to stat there. Volunteers are also very kind and helpful. Excellent housing accommodations are clean and in good repair. Food provided is abundant and available 24/7. Adjacent in hall to the women and children's birthing center so parents can stay near their babies or children while hospitalized. Guests are very blessed to have the RMH center located right on campus with Parkview Regional Medical center.
Tlk Inu Pikabolt: Awesome place!!! The staff and volunteers are amazing people. So helpful and kind.
JoEllen Biggers: Very quiet and relaxing. They said they are full but I have only seen 1other person.
Lisa Miner: So amazing! I cannot tell you without getting emotional how wonderful they all were. Gretchen and Tina were incredible! The whole staff was so helpful and kind. I have never imagined until now what a blessing the Ronald McDonald house is. Thank you so much for treating us like family. We are forever grateful 🤗
J E S: They provide a service second to none.
Marshall Watts: All of the staff members are welcoming. They go up and beyond for families staying here. The team works together in a caring manner. This is a great organization to donate meals, snacks and new toys. Volunteers are caring and helpful. The volunteers do so much and they show a lot of compassion.
rach franks: Great staff and volunteers.
Fred Pfau: Gretchen and all the other wonderful people there were so caring and helpful. Made a bad situation a little better. Amazing group of people.
Shannon L: Can not be more grateful for all the help!
Julie Smith: My husband and I stayed here 10 weeks after the birth of our first daughter while she was in the NICU. The rooms and living area are incredibly nice, the staff and volunteers were very hospitable, and you always had what you needed as far as food, toiletries, bedding, etc. We were so comfortable there that we felt odd being back at home once we left! We will always appreciate being able to stay here to be close to our daughter!
