Gary Keisling: A must see and visit treasure in the midst of downtown Fort Wayne. Step through the doors of time to experience the rich heritage of the courageous firefighters who have served the city through the decades. The fire engines on display range from horse drawn hand pumpers through the past century.Parking is available in adjacent library parking lot for a nominal fee, but free for Allen County library patrons. Pickup a commemorative fire fighters T shirt at the front desk.
Peyton and Layne Homestead: We had a few hours to spare on a trip to town and this came up as a place we thought our children might enjoy and were we right! We spent almost 2 hours here and could have spent more time but it was lunch time and our littlest was hungry! The worker was very attentive to us and gave us some extra information since we were the only ones in there at the time. I just can’t rave enough about how friendly and informative he was. My younger child as well as my older children liked all of it. Would highly recommend. We will be back for sure!
TODD MILLER: Wonderful preservation of the firehouse and collection. Attendant was very personable and knowledgeable. A great little attraction in the heart of a walkable lynch and shopping districtVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
J Garrett: Surprisingly wonderful experience! I didn't expect much from this museum but it surpassed my expectations in every way. The exhibits were interesting and historical, providing a true window into the past. While the museum has room to grow (and I hope more exhibits are added soon) the current items on display are well worth the price of admission.
Krista Gibson: Loved visiting here. Having grown up by a volunteer department; and being on a volunteer department auxiliary in my 20's, it was very interesting and bright back lot of great memories!!
Bryan Likes to eat out: Closed. Looks like it has not been open in quite a while nice to know after I pay for parking
Ernesto Owen: My wife and I had some much fun looking at all the old fire trucks and horse drawn carts and all the other stuff. I could go on and on about this place but you should check it out.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $6–10 …More

Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum - Fairfield Hall: what do users think?
Dion Scott: Clothes for Joe's is in the back. Take your veteran card, get suited up.
Michael Vanovermeer: It allows a place in part of it for Clothes for Joe's. A volunteer service, that supplies donated clothing and house hold goods to veterans
Jeannie Finlay-Kochanowski: Quite a surprise. I hope money spent on war could be put to better use.
Philip Parkison: It was an an old church changed into museum. It is free admission. 90% of the exhibit was in the narthex. Probably because they lights are needed on the papers. There's definitely enough space. The Egyptian pieces were cool. The signs were small to read. I would it is hard to understand the significance of things at this museum. The parking lot and the building outside is falling apart.
k Brotherton: This is the coolest place to go to in the Fort. Not only is it a Museum it is a Museum that changes thems. And all for Free!! The people there are curtious. And knowledgeable.
James Parker: Not your momma's library. These manuscripts'll knock ya socks off!

Ivan Morozov: You should buy a flight ticket to get where
John Nelson: Small but worth it while waiting for delayed flight.
Franiana Bencosme: Excelentes antenciones💖
Jennie Gonzalez: We stopped by, as we were waiting for our flight. The displays are nicely arranged and organized. Nice to see the Fort Wayne's rich connection to aviation history. Glad we had a few minutes to view the museum, located right in the gate area, on the second level. (There's a place to make a donation, should you choose.) you can only access through TSA security (must be a passenger). it contains much of the lore of early 20th C flight, so it is worth a 20m walk through as you await a flight. a little short on recognition of the great women flyers of the 20th C in Fort Wayne.
D H: See a variety of local aviation history, artifacts, and memorabilia as you wait for your flight. Tour groups may be scheduled in advance. Otherwise you must be a ticketed passenger and pass through security.
