Steve Graves: Our experience with Fort Wayne's office of LL Flooring was positive. They helped out a lot, especially when our contractor decided he couldn't handle the job and we had to find someone else to do the work. They were always professional and offered sound advice, and when the lumber finally made it they had it delivered for a reasonable fee. And most importantly, the product was really good. Like any wood flooring, especially wider planks like we ordered, you have to be okay with slight imperfections here and there. The brand/style we chose was only about $5/foot, however, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Very happy.

Sara Stein: HIGHLY recommend LL Flooring. Although we were looking for a specific brand/type, the staff at LL Flooring were so helpful that we ended up buying product on site. We needed a few extra nose pieces, and it was shipped and delivered to our home in record time. No high-pressure sales, and just good honest support in a project I've never done before. The selection is fabulous as well.

Errik Polakovic: BEWARE!!!! Never go here…even if it’s the last place on earth…got flooring installed and had the installer back several times. He even came back with no tools and had to use mine. Floor leveler was not done correctly..floor broken….Have proof of all of these items….After SEVERAL return trips our floor is still not fixed…please save yourself….

Rosemarie Logomasini: If you don't mind a decent job on carpet laying and don't mind the mess afterwards, then this might be the place for you. However, my rooms and hallway outside the bedrooms where I had carpet laid looked like a cat had had a hayday with the carpet. I didn't know I'd have so much vacuuming to do.Also, one door was splintered at the bottom and another accordion door removed, which was not rehung and parts were lying in the hallway. I haven't been able to rehang the door correctly yet. Carpet layers were rude when I called them to complain. Maybe this is why they have you pay ahead of time, so there is no recourse. Buyer beware.UPDATENothing has been resolved. Only apologies and telling me that splintered bottom of door is from normal wear and tear. It was NOT that way before! I would know. One corner in bedroom does not have carpet all way to corner. No attempts to help have been made.

Lora Schnurr: We are in the process of renovating our business showroom. A large area. I called Carpet One and asked for someone in the commercial division. I was sent to Peggy. This was 8 weeks ago. Over the past several weeks in my attempt to gather quotes, I’ve had to chase her down. When she brought her installers out to measure, it was like watching Larry, Mo, and Curly with their jabber and unprofessionalism. I told her I could come in at ten the next morning to look at samples, and she told me she had to take care of her animals first and could do 11! (I run a business. I don’t tell my customers my personal schedule before I can meet them.) I’ve had to work around her schedule. She hasn’t gotten back to me when she said she would. Last week i called the manager, left a message, because she wasn’t getting back to me with a quote. He never called me back, but she did. I was trying to plan with her to come in on Friday afternoon to finally pick an LVP. I texted to confirm a time. She told me she wasn’t in. (I personally needed to drop off the samples and make a choice.) I stopped in anyway…a half hour after she told me she wasn’t in. SHE WAS THERE! The other sales person could see I was upset by that. Peggy then came out and said someone told her I was out there “hangry.” I don’t understand why a company doesn’t want our business! I don’t understand why she is working there and why the manager didn’t assign me someone else! This is not a small sale! She then barely gave effort to help me choose an LVP, told me she’d call me on Monday with information. This is Wednesday. No call from Peggy or Carpet One. At first in this process we thought she was giving some effort and we could use them. but NO! I know businesses are overwhelmed…we are, too, but there’s no excuse to not follow through with your word, lie, and to not value people’s time and efforts. Needless to say, another carpet business will be getting our nearly $10,000 purchase.
Steve Kaufman: We wanted to buy a house full of carpet and wanted to compare a couple of places to be safe. We came here first and talked with Sandy. She was nice and we picked out the carpet we wanted. She took our name and address and said the measure person would call and set up a time to measure.We went on to Michael's carpet on State St. Found the same carpet we found at Carpet One. They set up a time to measure. Still haven't heard from Carpet One so I ordered the carpet and had it installed within two weeks. The owner of Michael's Carpet was the person that measured and inspected the install job.I still to this day haven't heard from Carpet One but I see the commercials on tv that want my business. Sad for Carpet One to lose a customer with BAD SERVICE.

Then I ask for a refund because I waited so long and said I would have to pay 30 percent because they said it was a speial order but was never told anything untill I wanted my money back and then they hurried and found someone to do it and when ask about other charges you always got a big run around and always excuses .I will never order from them again and think twice before you do

Richard Rockwell: High quality wood flooring install, was done right, was completed a day sooner than worst case estimate, best cleanup I've ever had by a contractor, and everyone there was nice and easy to work with. Really customer-oriented business!!I am adding an additional remark: at that start of the project, Jack Laurie worked with me to find a match for some pre-existing flooring. They were able to find the only inventory of a discontinued style in the entire U.S. and get it shipped from a single warehouse in Texas that had it. Really going above and beyond the job for customers! They replaced some damaged boards in the existing flooring and you cannot tell the difference!

Kim Kiess: Bleach had discolored a plate size area of our carpet which was laid by Jack Laurie about 4 yrs ago. The service guy did an excellent job of replacing the discolored area with a piece that we had leftover from installation. You cannot even tell that there was an issue. Highly recommend!
Greg Smith: My wife searched for the perfect Luxury Vinyl Plank (ordered at least 20 samples from all over) and found it at Jack Laurie.Installation was a bit rocky - originally 2 stair treads were missing but the installers came back when they came in and finished the job - looks great! If you shop wisely you may pay a bit more but quality material and service never comes cheap!

Scot Moses: Recently had carpet installed in living rm. The installation process was not smooth at all, missed scheduled day, rescheduled for next day, came the next day did not have the proper z bar for install, installer seemed frustrated with me because he wanted to do it without the z bar and I refused to have it done that way. The installer did not have the proper supplies on his truck the install was then rescheduled again. I called Laurie and talked the scheduler and asked for someone to supervise the install, they did send somebody, but let me tell you I installed very expensive Karastan carpet for 13X18 room and they didn't even use a power stretcher, very disappointed coming from a store with such an advertised reputation. Going have to think twice before returning there for another purchase. I was never contacted by a manager as they stated as a follow up to my review. Update long time coming, Jack Laurie followed up and came thru. Representative came to my house it was agreed the flooring was not installed correctly, they insured me they would make it right. The carpet is installed correctly, power stretcher used and carpet to hardwood is now done right. I appreciate the effort to make this what it should of been from day 1. Thanks

Jacob, our awesome Sales Consultant, patiently helped educate on numerous flooring options and pricepoints—over the course of months—until we found the perfect fit for our home. Ashley, our attentive scheduler, worked with us closely to coordinate logistics of installation. The install crew was uber professional and efficient. My husband was literally astonished at how quickly and well the team worked to install our new floor. All this would have earned a 5-star rating … however, our home flooded a few months after the initial install and we had to rip up the majority of our brand new floor 😰 ! The same team of people worked with us to quickly order, deliver, and install flooring again!!! The way this company stands by their work and by us as a customer has earned them my “6-star” rating 😊. Jill Moore: We worked with Jack Laurie of Ft Wayne to remodel three bathrooms and install new flooring in our entire home. Our experience working with Taylor for our designs was amazing! She was always available and responsive also helpful with the endless design options. Once we submitted the order we were updated weekly by Ashley. Although supplies took some time to come in, we never felt forgotten about and communication was top notch. Once supplies were in, they quickly assigned workers to our projects. Tim and Chapin worked on our new showers and Tim’s tiling work is exceptional! They worked on our project full days until completed, which is incredibly important when bathrooms are torn apart. Tim and Chapin are very comfortable to be around which is important because the projects took a week or more to complete. When our flooring was done, we worked with Omar and his two teams of exceptional and professional workers. The project was scheduled for three days (including a Saturday) and they finished it in two full days so we were able to regain sense of our space a day earlier than we anticipated—a bonus for sure! We would recommend Jack Laurie of Ft Wayne to anyone. Remodeling is stressful and a financial investment and they make it the absolute least stressful with continual communication and by getting the work done. Ashley and Taylor love to text which makes communication super easy for working families. We absolutely love our three new tiled showers and hard floors and appreciate all of their time and expertise!!! Now, if they only painted!

Allison Ward Fuscaldo: My mother and I visited this store to pick out carpet for her home. The sales person was nice and helpful, but was standing much too close for our comfort. He was also not wearing a face covering. I know this is a controversial issue in Indiana, so we did not say anything and had our own face coverings on.For first appointment my mother made to have her home measured for carpet no one showed up or called. She had to make a second appointment. When the man showed up she asked him to wear a face covering to enter her home, and he refused and said he did not have to. He also said he was unvaccinated. That doesn’t make sense at all! So thankfully she asked him to leave immediately and has since taken her business elsewhere. I wanted to put this review here so that people that are protective of their health during this time, like my mother who is a senior, can make an informed decision as to whether to use this company. It’s inconsiderate, disrespectful, unprofessional, and unfortunate.
Erin Salyers: First impressions were good but it went downhill after that. They spent time helping us in the showroom. We made our selections and scheduled installation. Installer was friendly but let us know when he got here he was supposed to have a helper so he may not get it done himself that day. He didn't finish and promised to come back the next morning, so we stayed home all day and he never showed up. We emailed the sales office, they apologized and sent him back the next day to finish. We paid a little extra to have a repair done to a seam in our basement, but the installer said there wasn't anything he could do to fix the seam, so I have been asking for a partial reimbursement for that and have been met with complete silence for over 6 weeks. No responses whatsoever. I waited to write this to give them some time, but am pretty disappointed. We chose this company because we had a good experience in the showroom and they are locally owned but we will have to find another locally owned place next time.Update: They sent a partial reimbursement a few months later so I added a star.
jay young: Thank you Michael's for a great renovation of our house! Started this just before Covid. I placed project on hold until we felt safe. Bill, Casey and Tim worked tirelessly to get things done quickly and safely once we started again. The craftsmen they provided were wonderful. Every crew worked professionally and cleaned up daily. Mindy Lake: ZERO STARS!! Incompetent and appalling! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!The customer service and integrity of Todd and Jeremy is horrendous. Our first clue should have been when Jeremy made a $10,000 error (not in our favor) on our quote!! TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!! His response to that was $1,000 off the price. Wow…thanks! So generous. Then he ordered the WRONG CARPET which delayed our flooring by nearly a month. Then he did not provide the installers with the correct address. Once the flooring was in, he forgot to order transitions. The owner, Todd, made the comment “Sorry you had to work with him” like it was a joke. Both were impossible to get ahold of or return calls. Jeremy informed me at one point that I was bothering his Florida vacation. Well, maybe, if he had done his job as it should have been done, I wouldn’t need to bother him. How about us having to find a place to stay for three weeks because we couldn’t move in our house until the flooring arrived…while I was in my third trimester of being pregnant!? Eric Frank: 3Kings was the contractor of choice in a new home build I've been working on. We had a simple backsplash we needed installed, nothing crazy. I was not pleased with the results because of the following reasons:1) They stained my brand new cutting board counter tops everywhere where the counter met the tile. I now have to sand down the countertops to try to repair the damage they did.2) They didn't sufficiently clean the grout, I had do go back and fix this myself.3) There are loose pieces of tile.....I guess I have to fix those as well.4) The outlets are mounted too far out from the tile, I had to go back in and remove spacers so it seated properly5) They left a mess of grout/spackle behind the oven. I know they probably thought 'who cares, not one will see this' but it just adds to the overall underwhelming experience. I was always taught that you do the work right, even when people don't see it but I guess that's not everyone.I hired a contactor because I've always owned old houses and just wanted someone else to do the work this time. My expectation was that their work would be better than an average joe like myself could do. I was wrong.

Michele Grindle: Carpet and install was fine but two weeks later they charged me 100 dollars to move furniture. I only had two chairs and a sofa which the owner told me was no big deal but they sub out their work (was not informed that) and they charged them extra money and only moved out the two chairs. My background of being a finish carpenter and project manager for a commercial general contractor this was the first home project that I did not do myself. My wife told me that she felt sorry for the installation crew because of my standards. I have to thank Damon for helping us select the flooring that worked excellent in our home. I also want to thank Shane the installer for a fantastic job. Shane called me and asked me to do a walk thru with him before he left. I went thru the entire project area and found nothing wrong. Now three months later everything is great! I thank all of you for a great experience.
Thomas Petersen: When my wife and moved to Ft Wayne last year (just getting around to this review now!) we purchased a house where we needed to replace 95% of the flooring. We went to multiple places in town and also looked online.While there were some decent places, Corbyn at Kaleidoscope was the only one who really went the extra mile to find us flooring we loved that was also in our price range (not an easy task with how much area we were doing).In addition, the installers were also great. They are Kaleidoscope employees as well (which we learned is not the case at every flooring company- something that made us feel more secure that it was all handled by one company in case any issues came up).Was definitely a great experience start to finish, and to reiterate just really appreciated the time and effort Corbyn took in understanding exactly where we were at and making it happen!
erzweiler: I told the sales guy, Damon, from the get-go that I only needed carpet for one 12 x 13 room and that I was hoping to find a remnant for under $500. He didn't have a suitable remnant, but he showed me some samples that were $3.09/sq.ft., and he said that that included measuring, installation, and removal of the old carpet and pad. (No mention of having to spend X amount in order to get the free installation.) So that would have been under $500. I took some sample boards, made my choice, placed my order. A guy came out to measure, and a few days later, Damon calls and says the total is around $660, including $250 for installation and a $55 ordering charge! So, bottom line, he wasted a lot of my time, and I don't appreciate that kind of sales tactic.

Zach: Don’t get anything from them. They told me one price then when I got in to the store to pick it up I was told I was getting charged an extra $55 for shipping that I was never told about. So they they had the owner come talk to me and he told me the shipping was $70. They will try to take advantage of you and make no attempt to make it right.That response is generic and old. You have an excuse for every bad review. How about admitting fault, or blaming the customer and fix the problem. I actually was a customer of your business as soon as I walked in the door. From that second I wasn’t treated well and then when the owner came out he talked down to me like I didn’t matter.
David Fennell: went to the store after getting a quote over the phone the kid that worked their when we went in quoted us 800 more than on the phone and when we went to the back to look at the carpet the place smelled like smoke. they were smoking behind the rolls of in stock carpet. Will not return.
Brandon Bunsold: I got some carpet and padding from them to do it myself I asked them to cut it for me and they did my sales person was Justin very nice guy I also asked them to hold it for a week till I can pick it up they kindly said yes now these things sound simple but I asked carpet one for same options nope and Lowe’s I’m not even gonna bore you with them. If you ever want flooring done by Lowe’s just smack yourself because it’s gonna be a nightmare. I will always go to Kaleidoscope for my flooring thanks Justin
Holly Hudson: Our rep, Justin explain to us that intallation and pad was included in the posted price of about $6 per sq ft. He did mention that some extra cost would be added for the areas where we do not have tack strip but there would be a discount because we dont need carpet removal. We had to call to get quote which was $1000 over expected. When we asked to look at the details there was no sq footage listed and no price per sq ft. He said, "THEY DONT GIVE OUT THAT INFO". Overall, the price came to about $8.15 per sq ft. We got a measure and quote from Klopfenstein that came out $1600 lower. I suggest avoiding this company!

Rapscallion Syndicate: Zac has done flooring in two homes that I have owned. First was a pvc hardwood floor that helped us sell our first house. I truly believe that upgrade showed us to maximize our sale. Due to water in the basement, we had to get new carpet in our current home. Great products and skilled labor coupled with excellent service are the reasons you should use Coleman Flooring. The basement looks amazing and the carpet is the perfect place for my kids to crawl, play and run when the weather keeps them inside.

Holly Humbert: I needed my floor installed throughout my entire downstairs before June 19th for my son's graduation party. I got nervous when my install date was June 14th but they did 90% of it in one day, came back on day 2 did the remainder of the flooring and all the trim. Very impressed and I love my floor.
