Fort Wayne Retreat Center: what do users think?
Marna Renteria: Lovely place, inside and out, with spacious rooms and the good feeling that you are supporting the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while you enjoy the space. Our entire (small) church had a family retreat there 2 years ago, and hosted a district board meeting weekend there, as well as an event Healthy Minds = Healthy Churches. I highly recommend it!

Pranayoga Institute of Yoga and Holistic Health: what do users think?
Jacqueline Boone: When I turned fifty-four last year, I struggled with my identity. My children were now living their own lives, and my career in the medical field left me feeling drained and unfulfilled. I was experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, insomnia, and gut issues. So, I decided to schedule an Ayurvedic consultation with Dani, which changed my life! As a Pita/Vata Dosha, I learned how to make better food choices to improve my gut symptoms. I also found the courage to leave a stressful workplace to pursue my passion for Holistic Health & Wellness. I can't say that the last year has been stress-free, but it has most assuredly been a journey of self-discovery and adventure. Thank you, Dani!
Sandy Smith Bonahoom: I have been going here for a few years now for deep tissue massage and it is the best I’ve ever had…consistently! Great environment, incredible energy at Prayna and the best people! Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Lisa Selby: Pranayoga is such a beautiful space and a great yoga studio!
Judith Panoch: So glad Pranayoga offered the July Yoga Challenge this summer. This July Yoga Challenge at Pranayoga enabled me to realign yoga motives in my life. This Challenge made me aware. Aware of where I was lacking and where I was succeeding. The challenge was within my mind, body, and soul. Maybe I didn’t practice daily, but I could apply my breath, my intentions, my posture, my thinking and my activities daily to ingraining behaviors I wanted to make natural and routine. Dani offered several insightful videos which I could view at leisure - but then I found I needed to schedule time for it all. This July Yoga Challenge was successful when I realized I need to just put time TO my yoga practice. Thank you Pranayoga! So beneficial!
Ellen Osborn: I became a member of Pranayoga Institute after taking their Yoga 101 class. I cannot say enough good things about them. Each instructor’s knowledge and willingness to share their knowledge is endless. They are patient and kind and immediately make you feel right at home.Pranayoga challenges me in such a good way. I’m gaining physical and mental strength and my flexibility is getting better, too.I highly recommend Pranayoga Institute!!
Ty Sorg: Pranayoga has offered such a warm welcoming thus far. The instructors are helpful and can provide a comfortable environment for yogis of any skill level. I’d recommend this studio to anyone looking to further their practice or try out a class for the first time. The studio is absolutely beautiful.
Sarah Martin: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityPrana Yoga Studio is such a supportive and welcoming place and the instructors are great! On my new journey to wellness I am grateful to have found it!
Kenyia Logan: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Alicia Marie: Great location, very clean, and wonderful instructors! I looking forward to continuing my journey to wellness at Prana!
Allyssa Belvin: Everyone is genuinely kind and extremely educated and skilled in the practice which makes learning it even more fun. I’m so glad I made the commitment and enrolled in the 200 hr teacher training program. I’m truly inspired by each and every person I’ve met on this journey and can’t wait to continue this path I’m on. Thank you PranaYoga.
Scott Hobbie: This place is great! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Kristina’s 6p Thursday class is the bee’s knees and I would highly recommend.
Anna Lellelid: I took several classes at Pranayoga when I was visiting Fort Wayne and Julie and Jenny were both so kind and provided me with the best space for non-judgmental, compassionate, and supportive body/heart work. I thoroughly enjoyed each class I took and it helped me so much. Thank you!
Catherine Christoff: Prana Yoga is truly wonderful. Traditional yoga teachings and an amazing variety of classes. The studio is lovely and the teachers caring, well-trained and caring. Best experience ever!
Chelsea Vona: Hands down the most well trained studio in the city. There is no difference.
Wendy Cooper: Pranayoga School continues to raise the bar in the yoga world. Their move to 1501 E. Berry St. reflects a commitment to quality instruction, teacher and student education, and a soulful community connection. There's not a bad class on the whole schedule!
Ree Devi: While searching for a teacher training, I found this school and studio, I knew in my heart intuitively the minute I walked in for my first class this was where I wanted to train as a yoga teacher. I have since moved from the area but coming back and being able to take a class after experiences elsewhere reminds me of what a blessing it was to have trained at this school for my 200-hour teacher training. During that training and while living in the area all the classes I took from a variety of different teachers was transforming. Dani is amazing and has brought this beautiful energy to Fort Wayne, if you are thinking of a place to practice I highly recommend going here! If you are new to yoga, I recommend going here. If you are thinking of doing teacher training, I cannot recommend enough how transforming of an experience it will be for you and something you will never regret.
katie snell: I’m disappointed in the unethical business practice conducted by the owner. The Southwest Pranayoga location was closed immediately after the owner ramped up the number of classes at this location and offered discounted packages. I was deceived that this business and location was doing well and made a purchase myself. Come to find out the owner had been covering the rent out of her savings, so she knew things weren't going well. When I politely inquired about a refund, she refused and said it was their policy not to refund. I explained that she closed the only location I can attend being an out of town working mother but she didn’t care. I've filed for a prorated refund with the Better Business Bureau in hopes that I can take my funds and practice yoga somewhere else. The owner has yet to respond to the Better Business Bureau and has ignored their requests. Although I will miss all the wonderful instructors that made Pranayoga Southwest my home for yoga, it does not make up for the poor business practices performed. This situation should be noted and considered when making a purchase with Pranayoga in Fort Wayne.
Jeffrey Wilson: Fun! that is the best way to describe the class I took from Dani on a Tuesday at 6 pm... I was traveling in Ft. Wayne on business.. I found Pranayoga on the web, and as I love to do yoga in old buildings and historic locations, I decided to give the downtown location a try... wow! Glad I did!!Amanda - the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful on check-in - even giving me a tour of the studio - TIP: get there early to enjoy the lovely vibe of this studio - one of the very best physical spaces I have practiced in - great old building - huge west facing windows streaming in loads of late afternoon sunshine, interesting artwork, the aroma of incense wafting through the golden light - big room with high ceilings, cool music - just wonderful.. even lots of free and simple parking.Dani is a great teacher - I could tell from 15 years of practice that her yoga knowledge is extensive and comprehensive - and I would love to practice with her more often - but the atmosphere was lighthearted, playful and FUN! The class was not overly strenuous, a good all levels challenge, as the mix of people - men and women, young and older - (the age range of the class of about 30 people included ages teens to 60s!) evidenced..Dani has a great sense of humor and there were more than plenty of laughter and smiles throughout the evening.. give this place a try and you will wonder why you had not gone sooner... I will be back.. most highly recommended..
Christina Trent: This yoga studio is amazing. I've spent a long time dancing around the idea of starting a yoga practice. The how, when, what's right for me, how do I fit in, etc. But whenever I brought it up with the teachers they were always incredibly helpful, even staying late after the classes were done to work on something one on one for me. I've never felt so at home in a studio before. I can't rave enough about Dani and Chris. The restorative yoga massage is so incredibly soothing. I have always walked out feeling 1000 times better than when I walked in. I can't say enough good things about this studio and these teachers.

Sherina Collier: Fusion has the best teachers in Fort Wayne IN. Once can find anything from a spiritual class, to more fitness vinyasa flow, sculpt, pilates, and so much more. Truly a studio that offers variety for anyone looking to improve their health through fitness. Child watch is available for many morning classes. Kids yoga, featured teachers from around the country, local powerhouse instructors, and one of the best yoga teacher trainings around. They also have Kids YTT! One of the only studios around with a unique heated studio that filters out the Co2 so you're not breathing in anyone's toxins. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

The older one with the frizzy blonde hair just seemed stuck up, not a very warm person.Really ruined my impression of the place. I have since found Studio Seva and very much prefer the environment and owner there.

Discover Yoga: what do users think?
Brid889: I've been trying to contact Chelsea since December 2022; its now a April 2023. she never responds and if she does its 4+ week turnaround time, having tried MULTIPLE platforms, with email/messenger being the only method of contact.something tells me she'll actually find time and seemingly, somehow respond to a 1 star review??my initial email wasn't answered for 3 weeks and she blamed it on some kind of filtering error, - okay fine. I accept that and totally understand. I replied back with a follow up question after she vaguely told me "more options from there" after the initial 1:1 which is really only partially explaining to me the 1:1 options. Like thank you for answering my question and telling me the initial cost, but to then vaguely tell me "there are more options after" is moot. its literally what I'm contacting you about to tell me more on....-sooo.....to be honest all of this would be totally normal interactions and correspondence if it didn't take her weeks to respond.[currently no response, with multiple follow ups (spaced out every few weeks) - not holding my breath].None of this would have even bothered me and it's truly not even a big deal but it srsly annoyed me and left a bad taste in my mouth. She either doesn't care at all, and/or isn't organized enough to notice. Not a fan. will spend my money elsewhere and tell others to do the same. V Annoying.
Nick Curto: Discover Yoga was my first time doing classes in person, and I loved it. I started by going to one class a week, then bought a class pass and tried every instructor's class at least once. Ben, Ty, and Julia truly help make each week better!Chelsea has been helpful with admin questions- and does the yoga at the park each month, which is great for introducing friends and family to yoga. Good for the body and mind!
Christine Taylor: I love Discover Yoga!! Having a yoga studio like this downtown is so wonderful. Every type of body is truly welcomed in every single class, whether it is a beginner class or a more challenging class like yoga for strength.
Mason Myers: From beginner to advanced, Discover Yoga is the studio for anyone looking to practice in a judge-free space. Do something for YOU and simply show up because you won’t regret it! Chelsea has a beautiful soul and will make sure you feel at peace by honoring your mind and body.
B Dove: Chelsea always reminds us to "come as we are" and Discover Yoga is truly a place for everyone at any level. Variety of classes and a variety of teachers provides the opportunity to find the perfect classes for you. Whether you are just starting or challenging yourself with new poses, she has created classes for whatever level you are and the next class for where you are going. She has truly cultivated a community of wonderful people who are committed to helping you progress and grow. I'm so happy to have found my yoga home. Plus, she make me laugh!
Bethany Hart: I went for the first time this morning and loved the unique location, calm studio, and Chelsea provided a great first experience! She was very passionate, kind, and I left feeling great! I will be back!
Sean Kaleta: Amazing atmosphere, wonderful instructors and a peaceful place to calm the mind, body and soul!
jonathan walker: A beautiful layout in a unique location. I had an individual session with Missy, and she has an insightful and almost telepathic ability to offer ways to deepen one's practice. Thank you Discovery Yoga!
Stephanie Staadt: I am so excited for this new yoga studio.. It's just 2 blocks from the Ash Brokerage Building and 4 blocks from the heart of downtown in the Historic Bell Mansion which makes this Studio the most unique in town. Chelsea and all the teachers are welcoming to all levels and will make your experience fun and rejuvenating. Also be sure to check out Beer Yoga on Tuesdays at 2 Tom's brewing on N.Wells in their Barrell room for a fun mid week pick me up all included with class passes or memberships
Cory Bice: Unbelievable venue, incredible staff. There is no better yoga for the Fort Wayne experience. Class options for EVERY experience level!
Justin Johnson: Chelsea has been an awesome yoga instructor and has focused a lot on chair pose here recently. While shoveling snow I hurt my back and using chair pose and then transitioning into a low squat keeping my back very straight while paying attention to my breathing I was able to relieve that pain. If it were not for the training she has brought to class I would be hurting quite a lot today after yet another day of shoveling snow.

Indiana Buddhist Temple: what do users think?
Jagat Kumara: Entrance
Nadeeka Herath: EntranceTemple Bell
SashaLeena: Such welcoming and kind environment! All those I’ve met have been nothing but supportive and uplifting! Wonderful place to go mediate and take time for yourself!
Hasaranga Jayathilake: Very well maintained and well organized theravadi Buddhist Temple with very kind and generous monks
Tammy Burns: After several years of trying to find a monastery or temple close enough to drive to we have found it. We showed up today out of the blue and were shown such kindness. Such a warm atmosphere as we were shown around our new "home".
Volmarr: Really friendly place! Positive energy. People there are open minded, and everyone is made to feel welcome. Anyone can come and meditate there and find peace in their mind. People socialize before and after the meditation, which is very very nice. Is a great place to meet spiritual minded people. The monks have a very kind caring energy. Even is a cute cat there, and I saw a goose too.
Nilantha Bandara: I had the great pleasure of visiting this place during a Katina ceremony (End of rainy retreat, month of November). It is wonderful to see Abbot Devananda Thero is maintaining the place with Theravada Buddhist standards with the help of Sri Lankan descendants in USA as well as lots of other local residents. This is a wonderful religious institute for anyone who would be looking for a quiet place to rest the mind or remind yourself of your practice. A walk in the garden would be so peaceful and transform your mind to another universe as you see all the great statues setup in the pathways. This is a recommended place for anyone who would like peace and tranquility.
nameillregretlater: This temple is an amazing place! When I first started going, I felt a little awkward but as a newcomer I was very welcome regardless of my background. Now I attend regularly for meditations, which are on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30pm. The Dhamma (teachings of Buddha) classes on Saturdays at 2pm are very good as well! I love that it doesn't matter what religion you come from, what your life has been like, where you're from, who you are, or anything - the monks always make it clear that this is your spiritual home regardless of all that! I love Indiana Buddhist Temple!
Asanga Ramanayake: Environment is calm & picturesque... You can find your inner peace by listening to Dhamma programs here...
Jamie Montano: Thanks
