John Casablancas Modeling and Acting Center: what do users think?
Marshall Price: This place is a scam. Do not spend your money with them. Legit agencies do not require you to pay for the opportunity to audition for roles.
Beatrice Urena: I love love love you so much 🙏🏻 Michelle has the brightest, coolest vibes. She the kind of ppl you don’t get so lucky to meet everyday. The photo guy incredible, he motivates you so much and you truly feel you belong. My modeling coach Ms Marilyn is wonderful, funny, keep you engaged and she has a good caring heart. My experience with JC MTM is being fantastic bombastic lolMuch love ❤️
Maddi Lee: Amazing!!! Very supportive and just a great environment to be in!!
Anthony DiCarlo: This was an absolutely incredible experience. The MTM team is amazing!
elysee nzau: I really liked the people there especially the photographer and the nice lady who was giving me poses. Overall the photoshoot was great.
Tracy Elliott: So easy to work with! They get back to you promptly on any question you may have and always so pleasant!
Amanda Nethercutt: My daughter has grown so much during the 15 Week Bootcamp both professionally and personally.Finding her the outlet she needed to be able to express herself has been the wholesomeness we were looking for starting this adventure. The confidence this gave my child in school and her community has been worth every penny! It has been so much fun watching her journey. Therefore, I cannot say enough great things about MTM Agency! I went from being a Skeptical Mom to a 5 Star Review Mom.
Izak Orono: They have been nothing but patient and helpful in the entire process. Great team and everyone’s passionate about creating a great atmosphere for upcoming talent to thrive in!!
Brittany Hall: A whole big scam. Lol. Turn the other way.Edit: I did work with you. Or started to. It was under my stage not and not my real name. And trust me. You are a huge scam. Lol. You're as bad as Barbizon.
Christian Mathews: MTM has helped me tremendously with my acting skills and modeling. I have gain great confidence in my abilities since working with them
Larry Williams: I audition for JC modeling and acting management and they kicked me off the Zoom meeting and I was confused why so I called the director and she never respond
Briana Frisby: They messaged my phone for months looking for someone I don't know...
Samantha: *update*Extreme waste of $2600 that I will never get back and worked my tail off for. Seems real legit when you audition. Dont fall for it.*JC the company has never done anything for me but ate my money. JC left a bad taste in my whole class' mouth after all our instructors left and no classes, no graduations, no return in our investment.
Jonetta Knight: Maria and Michelle at MTM are two of the most amazing people to work with. They do an awesome job of preparing and teaching those who desire to work in the acting industry. Our daughter had the pleasure of the LA Talent Tour experience and enjoyed every second of that trip !! One of our older daughters traveled with her and was impressed by the details that were incorporated into the opportunity. I so appreciate the workshops that MTM has provided for our daughter and for us as well. MTM is an agency that is easy to work with on all levels !!!
Meeka Wojo: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAre you excited to get your career going?! This team can help you if you are new or have experience. They can offer you greater education if you are not there yet, or they can help you get in front of a National agency. I give direct credit to Maria S and her team for helping me skyrocket. Thank You!!
Cassidy: Positive:ResponsivenessI just did a zoom I made it to round two they were really nice and they said they would sign me and offer another area of modeling after my training.
NIQANE: This agency is for people who have 0 experience and are dependent on others. If your okay with freelancing, just take everything upon yourself. I have not gained anything from this agency. They started changing staff and from there it went downhill. Everything they promised me from the sign up date I have yet to receive! Just use backstage.
Oceanwxves: Critical:Professionalism
Erica Baker: Love it here!!!
Katie Arnold: Still have not got my money back from them. Will not be going back.
Jack Hart: Scam. More like a 3000 dollar finishing school

React | Formerly: Young Actors Theatre: what do users think?
Nicole Demetris: I love it I started going there for my acting class I'm I the rewrite the stars I think it'd called I'm in the older class
Lillian Cardwell: Wonderful organization - focused on making cool, meaningful art with kids.
Amelia Soline: this place has shaped so much of who i am today. everyone there is so great and they truly care about the students. i found a space to express myself and show my love for theater. and behind the scenes is just as fun as being on stage! React will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Amy Millis: Absolutely loved it!
Brian: We should have posted this a while ago but our daughter expressed her disappointment again recently. As an 8 year old she attended the YAT kids sandbox class. She worked hard all season long practicing, attending all the classes and when they finally had the production, head of the department that led the play read all the children's lines for them. What a waste. Our daughter decided to pursue ballet over the last year and a half but would like to try acting again. She did however express specifically that she does not want to go back to YAT.
Roz Rankin: YAT allowed my daughter to build her confidence while expressing herself through the form of art. Over the past semester, I've seen my daughter come out of her shell and enjoy being around groups of people. She really enjoyed making her own costume and being front and center on stage. The performance, was well executed. Every child had a decent amount of lines. I highly recommend this program for young actors.
Dawn Hay: My kiddo loved this program, it is very focused on self empowerment - very positive atmosphere and they don't overbook the classes.
The CoolBronco: I loved the show tonight!!
Amelia: Everyone there is awesome coming from a student for one year planning on being in their shows until I graduate
Teresa Corazza: I think the experience I got here was the best I’ve ever had. Each director cares about every student and helps them become an improved individual. YAT is all about Self Empowerment and making a better future for these beautiful beings. Every person that has been here, without a doubt, has come out the other side a better person. Yes, it isn’t easy and not every moment makes you want to scream with joy but, the feeling I get when I’m on stage is worth all of the hard work. Every session I create a new family that I love and loves me. Every single person that does Yat will have a bright future because of what Justin, Gara, Georgeanna, Anne Marie, Ryan, Cathrine, and all of the many successes teach us. We are taught creativity and discipline all in one. Where else can you get that? Where else can you listen to some of the brightest minds tell you that you can do great things and accomplish whatever you want to with creativity and discipline? This program is a dream. It gave me confidence and more of a work ethic. They don’t have us sit down at desks and learn about math and science. They have us move and live like there is no tomorrow and, I’m the end we should all respect this. We should respect the people that don’t want to conform to society. They are making the future one person at a time, and if everyone has the mind of a yat student, then we can change the world.
Loneta Norkus: My children receive 100% love and encouragement from every student in the class. Now where else can you find this?? The staff are quite passionate and help each child grow.YAT changes outlooks and boosts self esteem.Thank you staff for your dedication and enthusiasm.
Shannon james: I have to laugh a little at how this place has 5 stars. My experience was horrible with having my child attend. To all the instructors you don't teach a student how to gain confidence with bullying them to a point were they want to leave crying. Justin's incessant yelling and temper tantrums were beyond unacceptable in a professional setting. Almost embarrassing that a grown man behaves this way In front of not only my child but other children! My child is confident!! She's a beautiful young girl!! She knows her worth but I truly feel bad that she had to experience what she did with the people she did. I would give you less than 1 star if I could you barely deserve that. I honestly hope that one day you can experiment with different ways of teaching your eager students confidence without having to use bullying.
LunaTheGreat: THIS IS A SELF EMPOWERMENT THEATRE!This place is great! I came in thinking - "I 'm going to be a better actor after this."And walked out having SOOO MUCH MOREEE
Pin Win Wong: I love it here Great place for kids learn about; great place for families.

All have been excellent experiences and opportunities. They even offer dance classes and musical theatre opportunities for adults. My girls have played a part in many of their theater productions over the last 8 years, as well as voice and dance lessons. We are so fortunate to have this outlet for our girls. The kids learn so much with every production and have formed friendships for life with others who have the same dreams and passions. I can't thank the Van Paris family enough for the impact it's made in our family!

Not only do they share their love of the music they teach work values, team work, and how to have fun. They are giving life lessons along the way. The Biz has become a second family and many of the families that participate would say the same. They always put on high quality shows. Come give them a chance and you will keep coming!
Emma Hoffer (Life as em): I love this place when I was feeling lonely I just went there and felt at home. You can make friends there so easily it is the best theater place ever.

Indiana Repertory Theatre: what do users think?
Tayler Coleman: My only issue is the sound, no mics, but the performers speak loud to where you can hear most of the show.Staff is great, seating anywhere is great and in a great part of downtown Indy!
Marisol Mahony: This is my 2nd year going to IRT and I really enjoy it. Most plays are very good and interesting. Last night we watched Shakespeare's will. Tracyichelle Arnold was amazing. It is very hard for one actor to carry the whole play by herself but she did it. I can't wait for next year's performances...
Aishat Eko: That was my first time in a theater and I enjoyed every moment, the actors were amazing and the costumes was on point. Will definitely go again.
Sherri Smithey: Oedipus was a great production. Wonderful theater, small enough to have all good seating. Beautiful venue.
Roger Kennedy: Watched a performance by Dance Kaleidascope..incredible show and wonderful venue!
Ernest Berman: Very nice venue. Very good plays.
Stephen Heitman: This review speaks only to the theater itself, not to any individual production I've seen there. It's a beautiful venue, large enough to stage any production that readily comes to mind, small enough to have a feeling of intimacy, which I enjoy. My chief complaint is the same as I have with all arts venues. The seats are uncomfortable. Mostly, they're too hard with no lumbar support. As a disabled veteran with chronic hip and leg pain issues, I'm usually more grateful than most when the intermission comes around. But, as I said, this particular critique applies to virtually every arts theater I've ever been to, not just IRT. Put some more padding on those seats and you'd get five stars. Overall, though, I would highly recommend IRT for seeing a play.
Laurel Clark: Came to see Oedipus (Sunday matinee) - it was a great experience. Plenty of parking in the area, comfy seats, great sightlines, great audio, amaz6 actors! Very excited to see more here! Bravo!
John Montgomery: Was at Tony's steak house food was great Had a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes to get seated what a joke Very slow at the door
Tim Parham: We enjoyed the show, and the theater itself is great. Would love it if seats provided a little more space. It's definitely a great place to visit!
Connie Jennings: Seats were good, play was good. $5.00 cookie was stale. No good refreshments.
Susan Petrey Carriker: Beautiful theatre, excellent production, talented actors. We took a group of middle school students to a play. It was a very unique event for the students and a truly memorable experience for all of us.Update: I returned with my husband to see FLYIN' WEST for my birthday and it was awesome. The actors were excellent, the story was compelling and some of the dialogue was hysterical. There is so much history in this story and this production made it seam so real. I am glad I had an opportunity to enjoy this theatre again.
Jeremy Tuterow: Love this place!
Ansley Valentine: The IRT is an Indiana treasure. The shows are always great.
Sean Daniels: A Christmas Carol was the feature of this evening. Actors did a splendid job! We had a wonderful time with the family. Comfortable seating. Short waits during intermission. Easy to find parking.
Cary Albin: Love this place. We go see a Christmas Carol every year for almost 20 years now
briskets'N'bourbons: Gem of a place
Sara Brown-Janowiak: I did not take photos, but I always forget how beautiful this theatre is. The architecture is gorgeous.
Cary Miller: Beautiful theatre with an engaging staff. We watched the Christmas Carol and we were blown away by the impressive set and technical features of the facility.
Yorik Castillo: I lost 20$ here but I had fun
Cody Amos: We went to see A Christmas Carol and it was amazing! Love the theater love the actors they put on a fantastic show!

Phoenix Theatre: what do users think?
gayle cosby: Intimate theater, very nice lobby and reception area.
Jacqueline Armistead: First visit there...I would definitely rent or attend events there.
David Waldman: Beautiful theatre. Phenomenal productions. A real treasure in Indianapolis. Highly recommended.
Mark French: Saw The Rise and Fall of Holly Fudge and really enjoyed it. Phoenix an artsy regional theater and definitely worth checking out. I've seen two shows there and both were quite good - we'll written and we'll acted.
Michelle Sweeny: what a swanky, modern space, with clean bright colors and such a powerful show that got all of the audience feeling the depth of emotions.
J Robinson: Good venue
Joshua Chandler: As gracious as they were, the staff hosted our monthly Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. I would have to say, it was an absolute pleasure attending this month's event. Lovely facility, gracious host, wonderful opportunity.
Sean Herbold: Great local theatre that presents thought provoking, edgy, and challenging shows across many themes. An outstanding productions and a fantastic facility.
David Anthony: Best live theater in town!
Westin Williamson: Beautiful venue and incredible staff.
T P: I loved the smaller intimate theater. I saw the stage play Skelton Crew. Actor Daniel A. Martin and the rest of the cast were good.
Greg Hall: A wonderful small venue. Not a bad seat on the house.
Erin Whittington: Awesome experience!!!
Debby Brown: Loved "Love Bird"!! Wonderful performances and a great set! Want to see it again after researching Nigel, the sea bird.
S D: The Best!
Izzy Litwack: New theatre is beautiful! A great addition to the downtown area.
Manuel Jork: Came all the way from Germany and just saw "Bakersfield Mist". After the show was one curtain only. Way too less to appropriately value the performance. A very intelligently written play and a wonderful actress and actor who turned this into an inspiring and entertaining event. For all art lovers and people lovers definitely a must see. I give some extra curtains and hope the applause echos to this great cast.
Samantha Baar: Great space. Very intimate black box setting. Great facility, very interested in seeing more performances at this venue.
Dan: Have yet to go to a show, but am unfortunately providing a less than strong review due to the lack of concern from their outdoor venue for all the neighbors that live nearby. I’m fully supportive of the idea, but practicing past 10:30pm on most nights and blasting the sounds so that people can hear it from streets away is not ideal.
Mandy K Greenlee: The new facility is beautiful and the outside space has a beautiful backdrop (the Indy skyline). We were able to safely enjoy a live show again, despite the pandemic. They have a bar available. The only down side it the lack of parking but I understand they are working on that issue!
Tricia Randle: It was clean, nice open space and lighted very well

Irving Theater: what do users think?
H. Yee: Update 20230414: Saw Bobcat Goldthwait comedian show. Irving theater roof holes appeared to be repaired (yay) but seems everything else is the same. Maybe some minor renovations such as a replacement upstairs window but we didn’t notice the marquee front sign working at all (earlier visit it flickered sport). Employees cordial. A lot of people buying beverage buckets with multiple drinks, didn’t notice this available earlier visit. Doesn’t sell snacks, probably good idea to prevent the crawling pests. Bobcat’s opening act was very open about commenting on the theater’s aged condition and Indiana farmer stereotypes. Bobcat surpassed by saying he lives In Illinois after 30 California years. Had the crowd laughing easily but last third of act was a bit hard to follow as jokes / stories were a little obtuse but still entertaining. Crowd was harmless upper aged. The neighborhood has a handful of restaurants but also sad to see the nearby ice cream store permanently closed. So April the streets were fairly tame and quiet, wondering if summertimes will have rowdiness. But our visit to the area was uneventful up to 10 PM but we stayed on Washington Street exclusively.Original review: This review is slightly dated, for the New Years Eve Heywood Banks performance at the Irving Theater December 2018. The Irving Theater has a very long and reworked history. The theater reminds me of a 1970's/80's old college campus alleyway music dive and you are amazed the place hasn't been demolished yet. Sort of what you might expect in old Broad Ripple in the 'days ago' where you crammed yourself with others into a dark dingy room. So we're standing outside in low 30-degree dark evening cold winter slightly breezy weather with a hint of possible rain in queue to enter. There's few streetlights and we're all trying to stay on the narrow sidewalk in front and building side. An example of the age of this theater is all of a sudden the patrons look up after standing for about 15 minutes to see and hear the frail building neon sign try to light up (a few of the letters) and as quick as it was on it burnt out (or old screw in style fuse breaker blew (?))! We had a good laugh. But realized once inside how dilapidated (yet historic) it is when noticing the ceiing rafters of multiple boards splintering and amazed not yet condemned. Another patron said a visit prior they could see the stars through the roof and on our night not, so a patched improvement? Well, the room was mostly dark and not that well lit before the Heywood Banks show and moreso during so you could make out some of the construction oddities but not all. We were fortunate to be seated immediately under the furnace vent, else wonder how cold a row or two away it might be. Largely rows of steel fold up chairs on an old theater floor, and some church pews in the back and a row along the sides. Did not go in search of the restroom(!) so no report on that. They had a beer/wine service (so another patron reported). Decorations included some type of decorated mannequin up on a shelf??? near the projector room wall opening that everyone was trying to determine what it represented.Nonetheless, the place has odd character and is one to remmber for tale telling that you survived. Heywood Banks also made a covert comment about the condition of the venue but hey we really enjoyed the show and by the time it was over didn't revisit the building condition as much. If the building inside (and out) were better lit we may have been more concerned honestly but, we'll leave it up to the inspectors to decide. All in all, a place to visit at least once because who knows the longevity of the place, maybe it is or should be a historical landmark should it continue to stand and be used.
Kris: 5 stars because I am a huge Bobcat fan and he slayed.
A S: Nope.
Matthew Bell: Nice old school venue. Love old theaters
Allen Conley: Would of been ok if they would turn the heat on in the building for the conceet but instead it was below freezing outside and super cold inside and then they had the heat slightly on and then it went back offCame to see a favorite artist of mine and left early due to how cold it was in the venue
Michelle Broyhill: It's a small venue but good for a fundraiser
Stacie Reed: First visit here for Normal fundraiser. Loved spending time with my friends. The artists that attended were amazing. The food from Mike's Speedway lounge was the bomb. The music from Circle City Sound and Indyca was awesome as always!
Damian Cole: The historic Irving theater is alive and well.. an amazing venue for music, spoken word, or professional wrestling!!
Michelle Koll (Ellie): It's a great place for the fundraiser I went to
Melissa Hauersperger: Amazing show by Indyca
Brad Urban: What a fun venue for a wrestling show. I hear they show Rocky Horror hear too!
Ben Stanley: I love the open live show aspect. I wonder if they do weddings. It'd be a cool place to get hitched.
Lauren T: Just leaving there now. I’m in the Uber on the way home. I love it there. I just met the owner and he’s great. Absolutely will be back.
Westin Williamson: Building probably needs to be condemned. 😂
Allen Akers: Great historic venue, needs a little help in the feel. Bordering too much on the abandoned crack house..Just needs a small amount of effort and money. Start with Amazon and some led strips for the sign. Some paint to recreate the original box office. Box In The stupid refrigerators. Make the window area to showcase the old projectors and relics.Place is just short of fantastic...Ps.. The tube Uncaged lights above audience is a definate liability..
Jacob Gibson: I seen Hodge twins there. Seating kind of weird but I still really liked it. And building shows history.
Fury H: Great place to enjoy entertainment of all kinds!
Charles Coomer: Will never step foot in this place again. If I could give no stars I would. They are publicly promoting hate speech in the middle of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city. Do not give them your money. Even after learning the hatefullness of their booked "comedy act", they have shown to not care what their space promotes. Shame on them. Don't be on the wrong side of hatefullness. It helps no one move forward.
Natalie Combs: The cultural hub of Irvington. Acoustic open mic on Mondays, poetry on Thursdays. I like to bring an ice cream or a beer to enjoy the music. And the market on Wednesdays!
Rick Truhol (Pirate Rick): Needs some care. But was perfect for the event I attended.
Jenn Gadsden: I went here with my girlfriend for a Rocky Horror Picture Show experience. It was okay. The place is small, rickety, and old BUT it's full of charm. The seats are old pews, which is AWESOME! But the Picture Show left alot to be desired... Hardly anyone dressed up (we did!), There was no tshirts for sale even though they were advertised, no booze/beer available for purchase even though we're all adults out at midnight, noone participated in the campy movie things like throwing forks and toast at the screen.Sigh.I will go back through... They have a plant shop right on the side that I'd love to see!
