Simon Thomas Jacobs: I am relatively new to acupuncture but now go about once a month to Indy Downtown Community Acupuncture. Erica is fantastic, and even though I don't go for anything specific - mainly general health/well-being/stress management - each session can be tailored to what you need e.g. I had some minor work-related strains that were the focus of my most recent session. I always feel great after each session, and especially appreciate the suggestions of herbal supplements to take between sessions, all of which have made noticeable improvements. If you're curious about acupuncture, or looking for somewhere new, I could not recommend IDCA more highly.
Linda Montgomery: Love this economical affordable way to get much needed accupuncture. Very calming soothing atmosphere. Only drawback is appointments limited to Mondays and Thursdays.

I saw several doctors and specialists over a 14 month time span and none of their interventions helped my feet. They all offered addictive medicines to kill the pain but too many side effects for me.Dr. Yang has been treating me with electric acupuncture for 2 months and my feet and ankles are improving. I am very happy with my progress with Dr. Yang and will continue under her excellent care until I have my normal life back.

I need file insurance myself.I initially came to her bc no other treatment for my neck pain and severe headaches had worked. I had been to a family doctor, an ear, nose and throat doctor, a neurologist and a chiropractor. I was desperate for some relief. I felt significantly better after my 2nd session. Currently, I have no neck pain or headaches .Then, she start working my sleep problem. Dr. Yang has even helped with my sleep. After taking sleep meds for the last 6 years, I am sleeping with just strategically placed herbal patches. Dr. Yang has teach me the acupuncture point for sleep ,and I can use herbal patch apply to the point. It's really work.The acupuncture doesn't hurt...in fact at my last visit, I was so relaxed that I couldn't stay awake. The treatment also help my stress ,too.I love the music in the office.Dr Yang is compassionate, caring and very knowledgeable. I will continue to see Dr. Yang when any medical issues arise. I'm a believer!!!!
Lindsay Lester: ETA: in response to owner's reply - I have been to their office, as detailed in my description/review.--I was surprised to find that this clinic was dirty, musty, and encouraging cash payments (%10 off if you pay in cash!). As an RN, I'm not sure how this place passes State Board of Health inspections. I was looking for Amy Yang and now see from another reviewer I had indeed called the wrong number. The person at this location walked in, shook my hand with her gloved hands, then took notes with the same gloved hands. I never saw anyone change gloves or wash hands. Basic universal precautions are all I want to see. This place doesn't cut it. During the "exam", She did not "examine" me at all before wanting to proceed with cupping and acupuncture for my ailments - still with the same gloves on. Look elsewhere!
Juliet: Dr. Yang is incredible at what he does. His understanding of how pressure points are interconnected with different parts of the body is commendable. He diagnosed my tingling fingers (which I thought was a pinched nerve) as a pulled muscle beneath my shoulder blade.He targeted the pulled muscle with electro acupuncture and within two sessions the tingling in my fingers had completely subsided.
Tom Knox: I’ve had neuropathy on the bottom of my feet and it’s uncomfortable to say the least. I’ve been to a neurologist and had all the tests done; they just want to put you on some prescription and that’s it.Since having the acupuncture and cupping treatments along with the herbal patches, my discomfort has improved significantly. I’ve had the neuropathy for 3.5 years. I’m super encouraged by the results so far. Please give Yang Health Center a call and start getting your life back. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

One time a fried told us about the yang health center and we decide to come. The first day my dad came, Dr Yang listen to his story and she say she was going to help us, that a lot of people had come for the same reason and the results were good. She did acupuncture to my dad and the results were amazing, my dad felt better in the first day. He still have to come for more sessions, but the results are amazing, the pain that he had is gotten away. I really recommend the yang health center, they really help you and the staff is very very friendly, they try yo understand you, and they make sure you are comfortable, also one thing that I like is that is clean, I saw this review that says that the clinic is dirty but is not, the clinic is very clean. Believe me they care about your health. I recommend this place.
jenny s: I visited Dr. Yang to help with my insomnia issues. I’ve been suffering from insomnia for years now and have a CPAP machine that I use during sleep. My main problem is waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep. After two treatments with Dr. Yang, I’m finding that I’m getting a much more restful sleep because I do not feel tired the next morning. I’m able to fall back asleep more often than not when I wake-up in the middle of the night. I’m excited and happy the result.The office take check, credit card.They don't file insurance but they help me fill up my insurance paper. Office is nice, clean. Staff are very friendly. JJ

Rita Allen: I cannot even believe the dramatic results I got from my very 1st acupuncture session with doctor Yang!I have adrenal issues I remain in stress mode. While sleeping at night I am always alert and cannot handle any white or sound. It's annoying to my kids when I want to go to bed early and I'm yelling at them to stop talking are turn the TV down so low that they can't even hear it. My kids are rejoicing because I have been sleeping so deeply! When I wake up I am so refreshed I do not wanna go back to bed. I didn't even come in because I thought I had a problem sleeping. This was just something I noticed as a wonderful side effect! I came in because of the stiffness I have in my back and my next. I came in because I had a horrible horrible migraine headache.I could not look up to the sky without supporting the back of my neck that's how much pain I had. Dial I can move my head around and rotate my neck freely! This is my 4th treatment and I am exceedingly happy

Joe Cary: I have had tinnitus for 20+ years but it was never loud enough to complain about. Last year I broke my tooth causing it to get to a level 10 in volume. I went to some doctors, ENTs, ear specialists, and a neurologist and there is absolutely nothing they could do to help or alleviate any of my pain or discomfort. After just 3 visits at Yang Health Center the volume has been lowered to a level 1 which is amazing! I have my life back! This place was nothing short of a miracle for me and I highly recommend for tinnitus.

She asked thorough questions, and spent more time going through details than any other medical professional I’ve been in contact with. With an intentional plan and regular visits over the last 6 week, I’ve seen *marked* improvement in my symptoms - I’ve been so pleasantly surprised at how quickly I’ve experienced improvements. Jordyn Nelson: In searching for an alternative treatment for my De Quervain's tenosynovitis diagnosis following Orthopedic care, Integrated Health Solutions was recommended by a friend. The care I've received since my first appointment has been top notch. Dr. Grundman has done an excellent job addressing my concerns and developing a treatment plan for my needs. I've never felt pressured to continue care beyond what was initially presented in the treatment plan, however, I have enjoyed my experience enough that I'm excited to continue coming back for monthly chiropractic adjustments. Ryan Stevens: What to say! Dr Jen is the best! She doesn’t just adjust you. She gives you strength training to work on, to actually fix what’s causing your issues. I’ve been to a couple other chiropractors, and it was just adjust and go. She, and I’m sure the rest of the Drs, actually care about you and long term health! She put together an initial recovery plan of 10 sessions. I stuck to the exercises given, and graduated after 7. Shows they aren’t after money, but your true path to wellness! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Emily Jerger: I was very excited to start receiving care from what seemed like a well organized chiropractic establishment. However, 4 minutes before my 9:00am initial 1-hour appointment, I receive a text from the office saying they are "way overbooked" and couldn't fit me in. I am so disappointed that I re-arranged my entire work day to fit this into my schedule, and was let down. If this is how the communication is before a face is even put to my name, I will go receive care somewhere else. Communication is key.

Jon Dilley: I've used chiropractic care for many years to keep my body aligned. What I appreciate most about IHS is their approach. Whereas all of my prior experience focused on getting the bones aligned first to allow the muscles to relax, IHS seems to go the opposite way focusing on getting the muscles to calm down before adjusting (in my case through dry needling and soft tissue massage). This has been a game changer for my recovery time and I always leave with at least a significant reduction in discomfort if not complete pain elimination. I also appreciate the emphasis they put on self care and take the time to ensure I understand the exercises I can do to help maintain a healthy balance with my body.

She listened to him describe the issues, explained every treatment to him, and made sure what she was doing was comfortable for him. After 2 visits (and following the home treatments she advised), he was back to normal in time to hang out with his friends on the weekend. jennifer winn: My boyfriend was given accupuncture for his tennis elbow a couple months ago. At the time the pain was severe. He tried to rest it and use wraps but nothing helped until the accupuncture. Since the treatment he has been able to play regularly without pain.For me, I have a non-stop headache for 3 weeks. The pain went up the base of my skull in to my R.ear, behind my R.eye, and R.head. I had tried other things like ice, ruled out ear infection, yoga for stretching and it would not go away. This week I had a treatment by Lei and have had zero pain since. This was a such huge relief. She really has a gift.

I was getting infections often and I started having adverse reactions to the only antibiotics that would work. I knew I had to do something else. My sinuses started draining "like mad" during the very first session. It literally felt like years of stuck gunk was being released. It was one of those things I wish I had done sooner. And Dr. Shaw is the best! She is interested only in helping you be well.
