The supply of shoes was somewhat low, but that's to be expected due to the start of all schools this week. It's upstairs on the second level I believe. There's not enough signs in the mall that tell you where to find what store unless it's the big giant map at the end of the 6 mile mall. Great customer service, great sale prices. Krush Kamp: My experience is okay I went there directly after March madness took place here in Indianapolis Indiana so I expected them not to have my size and shoes but the problem came in when I try to order the shoes and have them delivered to me via online and when I looked at my receipt I noticed my apartment number wasn't on there so I guess the manager was training a newer employee and how to do that process of online purchasing so they went back into the order so they told me and then they said they corrected the problem but they never did correct the problem I had to actually have my mail stopped just so I would get my shoes and it wouldn't get sent back to return to sender and when I went back in like a day or two later and let them know that they didn't fix that problem the lady assured me that everything was okay and I totally get that you want to protect your friends and you don't want to see your friends get in trouble but business is business and she should have felt like she could have been a little more empathetic to my concerns and she really wasn't she was just tell me what I wanted to hear in trying to get me out of the store and it make a long story short when I got my shoes from the post office they didn't have my apartment number on them and if the lady didn't know me the mail woman didn't know who I was I should say she would have sent them back so I was kind of disappointed by that

The manager overheard the conversation and decided to help only to find out they didn't have anything available in that shoe. It's not the first time we have had a similar issue at this store. Will not be returning. We do visit the JD store in Greenwood and have never had an issue so it's just this store as far as I can see.
Stacey CI: There were probably 6 employees on the floor only 2 registers going. The line was 20 minutes.We waited to order shoes that a worker said they had and could be shipped. Of course then at register they didn't have it to ship. Also we were buying a pair of shorts that said $10 and rang up $15. Worker said nope they are $15, I told her all the shorts in that brand are 10 she said - must be an error they ring up $15.Horrible customer service, the Fort Wayne store was just like it. Wow what has happened to this place.

a minor: Awful experience on black friday. Waited in line for 45 minutes to get up to the counter to check out just to have the POS stop working. The employee proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do about it and that I had to wait in another line that was at least an hour long to purchase ONE item. Spoke to a manager about my experience and he handled the situation well. As for the other employee, awful service, no consideration for guests, and clearly did not care about his job.

Bradley Waters: I wanted to share my experience with Athletic Annex over the past year. My fiance and i live in St. Louis, MO. We visit family in Indiana on a regular basis and last year around March we were in town for a family visit. After that visit we were staying in Indianapolis for a concert. I had forgotten to bring a pair of comfortable shoes for the concert and also need a new pair of trainers. We found Athletic Annex not too far from us and decided to give it a shot. The service there was impeccable. The attention that you get from their representatives is unlike anything I've experienced at a shoe store. I forget her name, but the woman who took care of my purchase that day was incredible and spent so much time with me to find the right shoe and fit.Fast forward to this March, we were coming back through and i needed to replace my trainers and also get a pair of good quality running shoes for a Half Marathon training. This time the place was packed and i did not get as much attention as the last time (understandably). I was advised because of my foot shape that i should be getting my shoes in an extra wide, and go down a full size from my normal sizes. The shoes felt fine in store and i didn't notice any discomfort so i bought both pairs. Brought them home and my first couple days in the runners i noticed they would hurt my feet a little. I tried on the trainers and felt immediate pain. Both shoes were too tight. I contacted their customer service via email and explained the problem and that i thought i'd need a size adjustment. I expressed my worry on how long it could potentially take to receive the replacements as we do not live close by, and i didn't want to fall too behind on my training. They were so quick in finding the new sizes and had them at my door within 2 days!! The new shoes were perfect and show no discomfort. I was able to get a return label in the box with the replacement shoes and sent the old ones back.I cannot stress how important this attention to customer satisfaction is! We do not even live in the same state as this store and will be repeat customers for the foreseeable future because of this. If you live near one of their stores and are in the market for new shoes, i would highly recommend them.

Steve gillman: I have difficult feet to fit for a pair of running shoes as my left foot is a 10.5 regular width and my right is a 9.5 with a wide width. Athletic Annex helped fit me with a pair of Brooks Ghost shoes and ordered two different pair. The Brooks program charges you less than half for the second pair as long as your feet are at least one full size different in length. Great personal customer service. The shoes arrived in less than a week.

I only went there because my podiatrist recommended it, and my feet really did feel better after getting the right shoes... so, a win-win situation all around, and I am happy!!Sorry, but I was too busy to take pictures of the building, but I did get pictures of what I purchased...Brooks 11 8 D Wide tennis shoes and OOlala Luxe Rose Sparkle Sandles, with a really good arch support!

They were able to analyze our gait and provide awesome recommendations on shoes and the type of workouts/ runs we were doing. Overall the customer service here is par to none and I look forward to going back in the spring to get some new running shoes!

I had been experiencing shin splints for weeks and they really took the time to listen to assist in finding the best shoes for me. He had me try over 10 pairs of shoes! I have never had a business take that much time to personalize the experience for me. I spend a lot of time in tennis shoes- so they needed to be right! The 3D foot scan and video footage of running on the treadmill - really makes this shoe store stand above ALL others!

I went in and bought a pair of shoes for my 3 year old brother and returned them all within 4 hours. The night time supervisor told me I couldn’t return them because both was dirty when he only tried on one shoe and he was freshly showered. When I brought this to their attention all they had to say was “so you bought a dirty shoe?”. He had an Attitude the whole time and showed no effort in trying to find a solution. They never even let me see the box until I had already purchased them. I was told I could return them by their employees even after then being worn as long as it was within a 45 day period. There was a lack of professionalism and accord. Won’t be coming back, there’s better shoe stores elsewhere with more attentive employees.

They were worried about these shoes getting creases.I ended up spending $145 on a pair of Nikes that are quite uncomfortable to walk in and it feels like they rub blisters on your ankles.Would have been nice if I could have at least taken a few steps around so I would know if I should or shouldn't buy them. Just been an hour after wearing them and my feet/ankles hurt, getting blisters already, etc.The size is fine, it's just the part up around the ankle that is uncomfy.Accidentally left my bag there as well, so I have no receipt. I asked for manager and he told me to move out of the way. I refused and said again I needed manager. He said I am manager. I said ok I need your bosses number. He said he didnt have anyone above him. I refused to believe that and then needed corporate number. He said no. Put his hand on me and told me to move out of way. I wouldnt move so he threw a recite at me with a 1800 number pre printed on it. I asked his name because he had no name tag. He mumbled something so I asked again and he yelled his name at me "Verney" I then left store to leave a message with the 1800 number. Went down to foot locker. Told them what had happened. They agreed he should have gave me the shoe for 45. So they "foot locker" sold me the shoe for discount price! I was so thankful for them. I will never spend a $1 at champs. Foot locker is the place to be for great customer service! 😁 and I will be waiting for a returned phone call from corporate! One unhappy customer

NiiNiiblak FightingSurvivor: These employees are absolutely unprofessional and I should have knownnot to even go into this mall (if you want to call it that) the incident started when I sat down and was never asked for help. I had to ask the young man to assist and there wasn't even anyone in the store. I'm checking out girl behind the register was so busy running her mouth to this man she never broke her previous conversation to assist me properly. I get hm 40 min away and get ready to put on my shoes TWO DIFFERENT SIZES IN THE BOX GO TO RETURN THEM. NEVER GET A RECIEPT TO MY EMAIL. SO AFTERPAY SAYS I OWE STILL. I call and the girl basically says they can't help me. They can reprint the reciept if I drive 40 min there again. This is crazy, never go here. And people wonder why nobody wants to dealwith this area. Unprofessional no customer service and they don't have sense enough to put the correct size shoe in the box. Then it's up to you to fight to get your money back. So at this point I'm assuming they steal.

Amanda Balser: It should be zero stars but there is no option. Store manager refused my return even though I had my receipt, and shoes were in original condition. Next time don’t make excuses for how my card won’t work for your machine and can’t do cash back with debit purchases when every other store told me (and does) do it. Lies.. store manager also needs to drop calling people “baby and hunny”, such disrespect when you clearly know it’s your fault for not helping your customers.

Warren Beal: Excellent and knowledgeable customer service, took the time to assist me even well after their closing time. I thought the price was fair and I even had a coupon I didn’t know about on my account. There’s a good selection, and of all the shoes I wanted to try on were in stock and available in my size.
Samantha Leffel: I had a wonderful experience here! Was greeted immediately upon entering, store was clean, well-lit and the selection of shoes is great! Bonus feature - neat electronic gadgetry! They have this nifty thing you stand on that takes precise measurements of your feet (report can be emailed to you), I was shocked to find out that I've been wearing the wrong size for my running/walking shoes... For years! Associate was gregarious, cheerful, knowledgeable, and so awesome to work with - she was able to tell when we'd found the right shoes just by the way I walked in them! The color of Asics I wanted wasn't in stock in store, but that was totally OK because they were able to ship them to me - promised delivery was within 3-5 days and they showed up in 24 hours! There's also a kind of loyalty program, of which I intend to make use. The location is very convenient - in Broad Ripple, across Compton St from the old BRHS. Plenty of parking and if you'd like, you can have lunch a couple doors down or visit The Magic Bus. 😊 As I said, this was a great experience for me, I highly recommend you pay them a visit before you get your fitness regimen going, your spring/summer walk on, or your 5k run!
CE A: Courteous staff. I was able to get my feet scanned to recommend the proper shoe and the results emailed to me afterwards. All for FREE! I learned that I was running in a pair of shoes over a half size too large. I have been running in my fitted shoes for some time now and they feel much more responsive. Great location. Will be back!

The store manager Larry listened to my experience/concerns as a runner, provided me helpful tips and presented me with best footwear options to suit to me. I needed to wait a week for my next pay check to buy the shoes I wanted. Larry was willing to set them aside on hold for while was waiting to produce a form of payment. Excellent customer service and essential knowledge to serve the Indy running community!
Austin Foreman: Went in to grab some new shoes for an upcoming mini marathon. Larry (Manager) took time to measure my feet, picked out 6-7 pairs of shoes for me to try on and walk around in, and had extensive knowledge on every single pair I was trying on. Came back in the next day and grabbed the Adios Pro 2.0s from Xavier who was also extremely helpful. Truly the most hands-on, excellent service I have received in the shoe industry and will certainly be back!

Alexandra: On 3/10 around 7pm my girlfriend and I went into Champs in hopes to get a pair of white Nike Air Force high tops. We found them. Waited for someone to help us, but I went to find someone. He said be with you in a moment. I thought he was helping another customer, but he went to front to talk to another associate. We stood there for about 10 mins while he chatted with his coworker. We dropped the shoe and left. It was the worst customer service ever.
Aonyaee: I purchased some shoes from this location recently only to find out that an accent piece was missing from the shoe itself. After contacting one of the managers named “SAL” I was promised that not only would I be informed but that they would be able to ship me out the accent piece due to me living 2-3 hours away. After being ignored, I called only to find out from “SAL” that he would not be able to ship out the accent piece. I am an employee for kids footlocker and this is highly unacceptable! When a customer of any sort buys a shoe, you are supposed to check left and right and make sure every piece that came with the shoe is within the box. Do your job right or don’t do it at all.

I have to find someone to get a shoe, no offer for assistance. Christmas Eve I stood ALONE at the checkout while 2 female employees stood at their registers and never once offered to check me out. I finally had to ask "Are you ready?" I spent $400 in that trip alone. I've already dealt with the district manager which resulted in a $25 gift card and no change in behavior. If my boys weren't so in love with their stock I would NEVER GO BACK.

Lb Tid: Went it on August 22 to pick up my Yeezy slides and had the most horrible experience ever.The two black women that was working at 5 pm was horrible,and this is coming from a black guy.I’m new to Indiana and have lost my wallet so I didn’t have my id but I did have birth certificate,social security card,driving record and two of my credit cards with me,these two women would not release my shoes to me even though every piece of paper I had came from the government.I had my QR code to scan phone number matched my emails I could provide every detail of my account and recent purchases.They walked around rolling they eyes walked away while I was talking to them,just plain nasty and rude.Glad they have them in a half way vacant mall so they can have less interaction with people.After I drove back home 30 minutes away I called champs spoke with a supervisor he called store and spoke with the in which someone I was able to drive back and pick up my shoes.Btw the supervisor apologized to me and said he had terrible experience with her attitude also.I would definitely not recommend this store unless u have no other choice.I’ve been shopping with foot locker longer than these two ladies have been born.Champs please do a better job with hiring people with respect and know how to work with the public.
