Garrett Chida: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Richmond exteriors has been the worst company to work with by far. They were supposed to repair our siding, gutters, and window framing and it was a HORRIBLE job. To start off, they tried to make us sign a contract that was $1000 more than the agreed upon price. They started the job in November, and did a poor job to put it nicely. It is now mid-April and they still have yet to come back and finish the job they started. Very sloppy and poor quality work. They did not finish the calking around the windows and left massive gaps along the siding. The poor service went way beyond the quality of work. Their management was 10 times worse. They promised to set up an appointment with us to come back and finish the job but we did not hear anything from them until early April, and the job was started in November. We got a voice mail from a lady screaming at us for having a delinquent bill, but the job was not finished. The owner of the company, Jared Richmond, gave us a threatening call that we should pay the bill anyways. The quality of customer service is very poor. Dave Grego: Received a very competitive price on their platinum gutters. The service and installation was great. The only thing I would suggest and this is being picky, that after they’re done with the installation make sure all the screws are picked up. Ted Williams: We paid $5000+ for an ornamental iron fence installation in an area of our back yard. The placement of the fence sections were poorly planned as they were placed uneven allowing some to be higher off the ground than others allowing our dog to conveniently escape. The sections were uneven in distance in relationship to each other as some were farther apart than others. The fence was placed inside out. We had to have the gate reset because it would not close properly and automatically as told. They had to drill new holes to reset the gate and simply patched and spray painted the original holes they drilled. The fence still does not close properly. At the base of the posts they left clumps of dirt, concrete and sod which we had to clean up because they didn't. This job did not reflect the pictures they advertise. We expected a professional job and instead we got the opposite. This fencework is definitely not as they advertise in their photos. We are so very disappointed in the fence job as we have used them before to replace our roof at another home and that job was expertly done.Service:Ornamental iron fence design installation
RamGuy1983: They came out and gave an estimate to install gutters on my barn. After the proposal was accepted and project was scheduled, the installation manager called to tell me that there would be additional costs beyond the initial proposal because the roof needed cut back a few inches. This information was based on pictures from the estimator and the condition did not change after they provided the estimate. Seems like a scam to try and seem reasonably priced then try to hit you with change orders for work that isn't even hidden. Stuart Alfreds: 2 19 23. We had an patio awning installed around 3 20 2019. All 4 of the employees who were involved in the purchase, installation & repairs have left, been fired, etc from richmond exteriors, not sure what happened w/employees. At the time of the installation I swear 4 big support beams were put beneath it but richmond has no record of it & they have all been stolen w/o a neighbor seeing it so we can't get insurance to replace them. Richmond claims to have no follow up # or address of the former employees for questioning.The patio began leaking in this one spot immediately & it continues to leak it's never been permanently fixed just temporarily. About 3 wks ago I contacted them a fifth time & was told warrantys expired but when purchased we were told it was lifetime. I think it may have been installed wrong, maybe it shouldn't be so high. In conclusion I would not recommend them at all. My husband paid nearly 3000.00 & it's kind of worthless. Should have gone w/a wooden pagoda at least we could have added our own non leaking roof. Ken Steppe: I had new insulated vinyl siding installed to replace cedar siding. I also had new gutters & leaf shields installed. The quality of the product and the work performed was excellent. The lead manager was very responsive. There was some occasional misunderstanding with the Spanish speaking crew on a few details, but my own Spanish speaking abilities resolved those. Overall I am very pleased with the end result. It looks great!

Mark Hunkele: I think they did a great job but there seems to be a disconnect between what sales told me it would take and the actual workers. We were told two days by the sales guy, and it was literally two weeks. This is discounting two weeks for weather. Yes, the job took a whole month once it was started. That was hard on us as we needed a fence to put our dogs out instead of chaining them outside all the time. I am happy with the workmanship though.

Mort Williams: I had James Hardie siding installed. The estimator arrived as scheduled, reviewed options with my wife and me and provided a written estimate quickly. Installation began on schedule and was completed within the estimated time frame. A crew scheduled a follow-up visit to touch up a few caulking and paint issues. The siding looks great, we are very pleased with it.

They took care of everything from measuring the yard, emailing estimates, making changes as requested and even getting approval from our HOA. It happened to be a really rainy week when they installed it but they had it up and looking great far quicker than I could’ve imagined. mike clark: Called about getting an estimate on Tuesday. Wednesday Troy Walters came out and did a wonderful job of explaining the Leafguard system and how it worked. We set up appointment to have them installed on Saturday. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the guys that did the installation but they were fantastic. After they left, they had cleaned everything up so well that you couldn't even tell they had been here other than my eye sore of old gutters were gone in their place were beautiful new gutters!!! Very timely, professional, clean, and just a joy to work with everyone involved!!! Thank you!!!!

We were able to utilize a discount from a flier we had received in the mail, plus a senior discount and a couple bonuses.He was able to get us installation the next day, which was surprising to me, as for so many things you have to wait sometimes for weeks.The installers arrived right within the time-frame given to us. They were both very professional and courteous and answered any questions I had.They cleaned thoroughly and left no remnants of their installation and took our old gutters with them.After the installation was completed, we did a walk around and he explained what we needed to do in the next couple weeks to make sure the water control system worked properly. Any issues, no matter how small we were to call them.After they left my husband came out of his office to look around and noticed something was missing. So, I called right away and had to leave a message for the sales representative. Then I called the General Manager and was able to explain the situation to her. She assured me that she would get it taken care of asap. I got a call back from the sales representative and he said he had just talked to the production manager and that the installers were on their way back to install what was missing. Twenty minutes later they were done and gone. Job completed!!!It looks beautiful and now the hubby won't ever have to climb up a ladder to clean the leaves out again. I was told that Customer Service is a priority for them and I am a believer.Thank you LeafGuard. I will surely give high recommendations.

Miranda Hunt: After getting quotes from two other companies that didn't even attempt to get up on the roof (and still tried quoting me 17k), I was relieved to be meeting with Cole from Big Boy Construction. He and his team are incredibly thorough and professional, assessing every aspect of our hail damage and talking through the best route to get it taken care of. Even through periods of time when we were waiting on insurance to get back with us, he was patient and went out of his way to see what he could do for us. Bryan Henson: Hello, my name is Bryan Henson. I wanted to write a quick praise letter on your employee Cole Askins. My property has hail damage from the storm in June of 2021. After reading several reviews from many different contractors around the area, I decided to go with Big Boys for the repair. Cole came out and did the inspection. He was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. However, this is not his greatest strength or the reason for this letter. Since that day Cole has been in constant contact with me on my claim. We are having trouble with State Farm on this claim and honestly it’s frustrating as all get out! I’ve been lied to by State Farm. Stalled by State Farm. Ive been denied to speak with a manager by State Farm. It’s been 3 months and still no progress as State Farm continues to use stall tactics it’s known to use. This is where Cole’s greatest strength(in my opinion) shines. He has advocated on my behalf with State Farm. He’s gone above and beyond what I would consider his job. He’s firing off emails every day to document State Farm’s blatant disregard for their policy holder. He's made several phone calls to them with me on 3way. He’s personally calling shingle manufactures for advice. Calling and setting up engineering inspections and so on. I’ve received several texts from Cole way after business hours. I don’t mind the late hour text, but does he ever stop working for the customer? I truly don’t know how to put into words how grateful I am for what Cole has done so far. Whatever Big Boy pays Cole, I can assure you that it’s not enough! I will personally be showing my appreciation to Cole when this job is completed. Please let whoever needs to see this do so. Also, Cole needs a pat on the back and a “at a boy” from Big Boy!P.S. my wife’s been trying to get me to write her a letter for years now. Christopher Moreland: The project manager seemed to be pushy on filling an insurance claim. We had a water leak a month ago and I wanted to get that fixed. However, he was pointing out hail damage on my roof that had no correlation with my water leak. He seemed clueless on why we were having water leaks.I asked for a quote and have yet to receive one. The water leak was an important issue for me which I wanted to be fixed. Yet they were trying to push me to file an insurance claim for hail damage.

Chris Tillery: Our business worked with Jackson Contracting in the past on our dental practice. We recently turned an old Discount Tire into a state of the art dental practice, and we had A LOT of leaks we found after the first big storm. We called Jackson around 8am and we had someone to our practice within the hour. They not only went up on the roof, but they professionally flew a drone to not only get a better idea of what was going on, but they were able to show us exactly what they were seeing to help us understand as well. They came out and patched up all the areas we were dealing with the leak... We then sat down and spoke to Rob and Sam on a plan for our building. One of the issues we had was from a metal piece that had flipped up on the side of our building and then hit the entire roof while it was flying around, basically "poking holes". Jackson walked us through the plan, kept us informed on where we were, the steps we were taking, and had the job done very quick. I would HIGHLY recommend their services. Thank you so much for your help on keeping all of us stress free at our business, and now our building and roof looks even more beautiful with the custom metal work that Jackson did for us. D Yb: Good price, good materials, quick turnaround. Overall happy with reroof. Need to see how it handles the abuse of high wind, severe rain, snow load, and freezing temperatures. I could have gotten better materials, but would have paid more for them. I elected to go middle-of-the-road, and not with cheapest estimate. Jackson fit the part for my reroof need.

We hired Jackson for the first major project on our new home which included a new asphalt roof, soffits, fascia, and gutters. We received our first estimate from Cody and he was very patient with me as I collected more estimates and data from other companies before making a final decision. I never felt any pressure from him to close the sale and felt he just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the process throughout. Cody was very timely in following up with all my questions before, during, and after project completion. His availability has been almost instantaneous throughout. The estimate he provided was fair and accurate and the project was completed quickly and on budget. Crews were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Thank you, Cody!
