Circle City Apartments: what do users think?
caleb whitehead: Do not live here, I currently live here and there is little help from management. For the last 4 months our energy prices have been high due to broken HVAC systems. When we brought this to management they told us it wasn’t their problem and lied saying our neighbors paid more. We checked with our neighbors and they are paying 1/4 of what we are. This has increased our cost of living by 25%.
Gavin Gallegos: I absolutely loved it here. I ended up moving early due to family issues back home but I would highly suggestion living here. The staff cares, maintenance is great, and the locations and prices are unbeatable
Matt Heredos: Circle city apartments are decently clean and not the worst price, however, be aware if you stay here you better leave the place spotless. I took pride in where I lived and I left my apartment in great condition but I was somehow still required to pay nearly eight hundred dollars for "Trash removal, extra cleaning, and Carpet replacement" I left the apartment completely empty, and clean. The staff did not offer much help. I don't Wana go full blown "Karen" but $800 for a coffee stain is a bit much.
K G: This is an abysmal management group. Zero care for the residents, and will tell you that you owe them hundreds of extra dollars after they take your security deposit upon move out, and not provide evidence. Do not recommend.
Grace Hales: My little studio in Winterhouse was perfect! Great price for the location to downtown, gym, pool, and free coffee in lobby. I had a pretty major problem with my ceiling leaking a crazy amount of water, but you could tell the maintenance and office workers tried their best to solve the issue as fast as they could. Everyone in the apartment is friendly as well.
Salman Haider: Issue with heating in the winters but otherwise Winterhouse is good.
Franky B: Wish I did not have to put a 1 star but I have no other choice. The staff will be very helpful untill you actually live here, and then you will not be able to get a response from anyone for any issue. I mean they literally ignore your issues and all emails. At first glance they have nice amenities, then you move in and realize they are just for show. They do absolutely nothing to maintain there amenities, and when you have a problem with something that needs taken care of they will refuse to respond. I would love to change this rating but I don't know how I can do that when they won't even email a resident about the most simple issues. I have sent 4 emails over the same problem and literally no response, but they will email back for other things.
Amber Turientine: This is my third year living at the McKay building and the management staff has always been great! Highly recommend them for affordable downtown living. The maintenance staff are quick to fix things but honestly I have only had a few times where I had to even put in a work order. The apartments have been remodeled so even though it’s a hundred plus year old building.
Erika Iampoetry: Starting the out the process staff is very pleasant the apartments are also nice but there is an EXTREME PEST ISSUE. I’m not sure if all of their buildings have roaches but the Raleigh has roaches they come out spray but the bugs don’t go away. Maintenance is also slow at responding at times and don’t completely fix the job.
matt boyan: I’ve been a renter in Indianapolis for about the past 10 years with multiple leasing companies. Circle City has by far been the best to work with and I would recommend them to anyone. They are very fair, east to work with, and respond quickly to maintenance requests. Yes, the amenities may not be as fancy as newer apartments in the city but their rent prices reflect that. I lived at the Richelieu for years and it was a great experience!
Natalie Reigosa: Highly inconsiderate to residents! Not helpful at all and very difficult to work with. Management doesn’t care about residents issues when they can easily fix a small problem. I wouldn’t rent here again!
Courtney Brown: I currently live at the Winterhouse Circle City Apartments. Overall, it is a very nice and clean place. There are great amenities such as a workout room, free coffee, lounge area, and pool. The staff here is very pleasant as well. My only complaint is that someone on my floor smokes weed so sometimes I can smell it as soon as I leave my room. Other than that I would also just say that the windows don’t block out much noise. I live on the 3rd floor which is the lowest one you can live on and I hear traffic, police sirens, and yelling through my window all the time. You get used to it after awhile, but it can be annoying.
Angie Mercado: If I could do zero stars I would. Upon move out, I personally returned my keys to a lady working in the office. I then found out I owed them money because the lady never wrote down when I turned in the keys. So I have had to pay for the new locks they added to the doors. Their office staff was not helpful at all when I tried getting the matter figured out. There was no reason for me to keep and not return the keys.
Ryan M: The maintenance response times at Circle City Apartments are incredible. I lived there for two years, with well over a dozen requests, and it never took them longer than 4 hours. Usually less than 1 hour. The amenities are very nice and well kept. They are all at the Winterhouse though so make sure you live near it if you want to use them. The staff are friendly and accommodating.I lived in the Spink and would like to point out some things for potential tenants:- First, Pennsylvania St is an emergency services lane. If you live in one of the buildings on Penn then you will hear sirens 5-10 times per day. Some of the calls are to the halfway home between the Spink and Raleigh buildings.- Second, the windows in the Spink were not very good. They let in a lot of noise and wind. Heating bills were 40% higher than in previous similarly-sized units I have rented with other companies.- Finally, the elevator in the Spink is old, creaky, and slow. 45+ seconds to get to the top floor.Overall I would recommend living here, just be very aware of what you are getting in to with your specific building and unit.
Aline Elquist: Lived here for 1 year. Quick with maintenance requests and communications! No complaints!
Chau Nguyen: I have lived in the Winterhouse building for a year now and everything is on point. I have not a single bad experience here. All of the staffs are very friendly and kind. They are willing to help with any issue I have. The maintenance is quick as they can address and complete it within a day. The building is new, modern, and very clean, no bug or anything at all. This is actually the best experience with renting and living that I’ve ever had.I highly recommend living here!
Christine Hudson: I've lived in Circle City properties since 2016 and I couldn't be more pleased! The staff is super friendly, rates are reasonable, the amenities are great and maintenance work orders are always completed within 24 hours. Last year, I switched buildings, and Seth in the leasing office was so friendly and helpful for the entire process. The apartments are beautiful and quiet, the buildings are well-maintained and parking is free or very cheap (for downtown). Gladly just renewed my lease for another year!
Zackary Spoor: Leased somewhere else closer to my work. But they have great amenities and awesome locations!
Kailey Underwood: Amazing customer service, any issues I have are always quick to be resolved. Also love how amazing the staff is, especially a young fellow named Seth. He always has a smile on his face.🤗
Lorenzo de la Rosa: The Winterhouse has a very modern vibe, which I like! The lounge area is very spacious and a great place to meet people. I really like my studio's wooden flooring and appliances because you can tell they're new. Not to mention, the staff/maintenance take care of things really fast!
McCabe Justice: Love it here! Kind staff, awesome apartment, and great amenities!

Pulliam Square Indianapolis: what do users think?
Amanda Serra: 10/10We’ve loved our time at pulliam square. The amenities (gym, patio, walking score, business center, community events) are top notch and the team is incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly. The apartment itself is nice, clean, and modern. The atmosphere is generally very calm. The team really cares for you & even got us a house warming gift to celebrate our new home. Have never had the level of detail or care in my years of renting.
Travis McMasters: I first moved to Indy a year ago and this was the perfect location! I could walk almost anywhere downtown in mere minutes. You can easily drive NESW of Indy in about twenty minutes or less. I felt safe in a downtown setting and there is an unlimited amount of things to do. The apartments are spacious and trendy. My experience with anyone who works at Pulliam was always completely professional and pleasant. It felt like home away from home! So grateful this was my first experience in this awesome city!
Claudia Loman: I loved living at Pulliam Square! There were a few hiccups during my time, but that's expected when living in an apartment. It is super conveniently located so it was great to explore the different restaurants around Mass Ave, attend fitness classes like HotWorx and shop at the locally owned boutiques. As a woman, I felt pretty safe walking in the area alone at night. I stayed in a Daily I and it was so spacious for just me. I had plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen and loved having my washer and dryer in the closet. The property manager, Val, was always very helpful when I needed help with anything as well, definitely recommend living here!
Cindy Green: Just toured the apartments with Ilaina and she was incredibly helpful and informative. The apartments are really cute and spacious so far it’s the number one choice.
Johanna Tomkiewicz: I really wish I could give Pulliam Square a higher rating, but my experience in my first four months here has been pretty bad. First, the good - I love my unit, it is spacious and the building is in a fantastic location. The staff has been friendly and helpful when I've needed assistance (which has been frequent). When I first moved in, my washer and dryer did not work and it took over a month before I had a new washer and dryer in my unit. Unfortunately, the maintenance team installed the washer incorrectly and it ended up flooding my entire unit the first time I ran it. The staff worked with me to get my rugs dry cleaned and although this situation was terrible to deal with, I believe the staff helped as much as they could so I held off before writing a rating just based on that situation. I didn't have issues for several weeks, but this weekend was the first hot weekend of the year. I tried turning on my AC for the first time only to find that it does not work, and my apartment is currently 80 degrees. I am extremely frustrated that I pay over $1600 for an apartment that has repeatedly proven to not meet the bare minimum expectations. If problems like this persist I absolutely will not be resigning my lease here.
Benjamin Belding: Great overall move-in experience. Illaina was great to work with, prompt with questions I had along with giving a great walk through of the property. Val the Property manager was kind, along with any further questions I had. Highly recommend! Great job Ilaina and Val!
Marcus Thatcher: Very relieved to have a hard working dedicated management group!
Fiona Wong: Power has gone out at least once a month
Timothy La: It can be overwhelming finding the right apartment, but I immediately was captivated by Pulliam Square's spacious space, very reasonable cost of living, and the amenities. Pulliam was my first choice of choosing an apartment building and I am so grateful Val contacted me. She is prompt, responsive, caring, answered all my questions clearly, and most importantly, exceptional as what she does. The virtual tour she gave was insightful and fun. I did not have to be there in person to feel and picture myself living at the Pulliam. I still cannot believe I got the lease completed in just several days, all thanks to Val!
L.E. Evans: Difficult to get serivce requests completed. Staff and office hours change frequently making it difficult to get issues resolved.
Robert Edwards: Beautiful luxury downtown Apartments. Spacious floor plans, rooms with a view, in a trendy urban environment. The Community is loading with amenities. The staff is extremely professional, courteous, attentive & friendly.I had a wonderful visit!
Joe Durm: I can only speak on my leasing experience as I'm moving in next week, but the customer service was the deciding factor between Pulliam and other similar properties. Angel gets the nod for answering my endless questions. Ill update this review after a couple months of leasing.
Desiree X: I have lived at Pulliam Square Apartments for quite some time. The problem with the front office, who are so caught up with climbing the ladder; is there is no accountability. Recently, I had my work iPad Pro sent out to Apple for a repair. I gave it to Ana at 0900 hrs. for a FedEx pickup, which she failed to give to FedEx. I then contacted FedEx because I had not received confirmation that the package had been picked up. I notified the manager, Jessica, because Ana was off of work. Jessica told me that she would call me once she talked to Ana. I never received a call from Jessica. I did receive an email stating that my package was picked up. I immediately went to the office to find out where Jessica found my iPad. Jessica casually says oh I found it under Ana‘s desk. I explain to Jessica that I was going out of town for work and I needed the iPad but, due to the fact that it was not given to FedEx, it would be returned while I was gone.My iPad was returned to the front office with Ana being the signer of receipt. I receive an email stating that it had been returned. I contacted Ana to make sure that she left my iPad either in my apartment (which they have placed packages inside my apartment in the past) or in their office where it should have been safe from theft. Ana assured me that she would hold it in the office. When I returned, my iPad was nowhere to be found. Yes I’m angry because I’ve had other packages that were stolen. The office is responsible because they signed for it and they knew that I was going to be out of town for several weeks. Ana should have left it in the office until I returned. I immediately went to the office when I returned. Jessica played the dumb role; she didn’t recall any of our conversations and she didn’t recall my iPad being found under Ana’s desk! Theso-called new but temporary (intermittent) office personnel are clueless! I guess they didn’t have time to get their stories together. These people have absolutely no consideration for the tenants living here because there was never any accountability for their irresponsible actions. They tried to downplay the entire situation. I would advise anyone considering living here never to have any type of electronics picked up or delivered to the office. I call this thievery at its finest. Since this incident, there have been several individuals that I know that have decided to take on residence at The Whit.
Sam Scott: You can’t beat the location and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Mix of young professionals and ranging age groups. Very clean building & Amenities are pretty good, above average for downtown Indy in mile square for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!
Sam Lewis: Lived here for 6 months now and it has been awesome! The staff are very helpful and the location is fantastic. Definitely spend a little too much time at The Tap.
Sajjad Khan: Do not move into this complex. Although it may seem nice during the day, the paper thin walls and extremely loud bars on the first levels make sleep next to impossible. The building management can do nothing to help, police won't do anything. At least half the building is effected. Happens 5 to 6 nights a week. It is horrible!
Mitch Mackesey: First of all the staff is amazing, I can only say positive things about them. The gym is nothing special. Calling the place for dogs to go out a "dog park" is quite a stretch. Unfortunately they never paint the walls in the hallways, and they're all scuffed up from people moving in. Edited review after non-stop fire alarms and office hours. I'm sure the fire alarms are not their fault, but it's terrible enough I will not be resigning my lease. The office hours are also supposed to be til 6, but this is my 3rd day in a row trying to get an important package and no one has been there after 5.
Jennifer Kinch: Pulliam is the best location with the coolest apartments and great management.
Mick: They entered my apartment without permission or valid reason. I’m moving now due to this invasion. And they won’t even call to discuss the issue.
Nora Al-Qadi: Living at Pulliam Square has been incredible! Aside from a wonderfully built apartment - I love the staff and amenities. Being just steps from great restaurants and stores is just the icing on the cake. :)
Drew Beechler: Worst apartment ever. Amazing location, but pretty terrible apartment complex overall. Management is pretty bad and won't work with you on lease terms when the apartment is practically uninhabitable due to construction noise at 3AM. They take the “not my problem” approach. Everyone I knows here hates it and is just waiting out their lease — false fire alarms going off at 2 AM (many different times) and waiting on the staff to get there for over an hour to turn the alarm off, terrible overnight construction noise without permits, elevators that are constantly broken, security issues on doors that took 9+ months to fix, poor to non-existent communication about such issues, etc.

Axis: what do users think?
Ellen Shields: I asked a lot of questions and was pretty indecisive for a while. I was actually probably pretty annoying but Kaila was patient with me.
Sadie Mele: Move in was pretty seamless. They had all my information, brought me quickly to my new home, and gave me a tour later in the day. They were extremely flexible when my movers came a couple days later. The location is great for getting to work and the Kroger right downstairs is a GREAT benefit. Maintenance staff was very helpful with a quick lightbulb change (my only move in problem) AND they left a thank you note. The leasing office staff is very friendly. Hoping this positivity stays throughout my time here :)
Chris Roberts: We recently took a tour of Axis while shopping for a place to live downtown. Breanna was very courteous and helpful. Her knowledge of the property and its amenities left us with few questions at the end of the tour. We are looking forward to moving there!!
Abraham Abdulhak: Can’t beat that toilet humor
bowie G: This apartment complex has GOT to get the fire alarms under control. It happens twice a month now at least, and it’s never actually been a fire while I’ve lived here. It’s always a busted pipe or something else. The alarms are in every hallway and apartment, and it’s quite literally the loudest sound I’ve ever heard. My ears ring for hours after each alarm sounds off. My friends and family who have heard it all agree that the volume is beyond excessive, far louder than any school/college dorm/apartment I’ve ever been to.This is a “pet friendly” complex, but I seriously, genuinely worry that my cat and other animals here are going to suffer from hearing loss and heightened anxiety due to the sheer volume and frequency of these alarms. We never receive updates/ emails until sometimes half an hour or more later, sometimes never at all. On Christmas Day, I was traveling but stopped back at my apartment because I saw the fire alarm lights. I rushed up to get my cat in a panic, glad I was just able to be there in time. There was no response for over an hour, and so I had to take myself and my cat elsewhere since it was below freezing. The alarms were going off and on over and over, the email later on said it went on for nearly 48 HOURS. When I checked out the office to see what was going on, other people were in there casually playing pool, meanwhile buckets upon buckets of water were flooding from the ceiling. No safety measures were put into place whatsoever. It is going off again, as I type this. I was the ONLY person (as far as I saw) evacuate the building, because it happens so frequently that nobody bothers anymore. But what if there’s a real fire???!!! It is absolutely unacceptable, this is no way to live. Especially for the amount they’re charging.
Never say Never: No words!
Teylor Ellis: Best part about renting…. Our microwave door had broken and I came home to a newly installed microwave and they took the initiative to install a light fixture I had got from Amazon and been meaning to ask them to install. Love it here! Thank you Robin and Wayne. 😊
Terry Stowell: Dishwasher is working again. It just leaves spots on everything!
Eric Silvati: Team was awesome as always!
Cindy Roberts: We had an excellent tour with Brianna. The apartments are wonderful and we are looking forward to moving downtown.
Tiffany Castilleja: Overall our experience was pretty good. We lived here for a year and it was a nice 1st apartment in the city. Definitely some things that could be improved based on the high costs to live here.Pros:-Quiet [we never heard our neighbors]- Pool & gym are amazing-Fun resident events- Freshly painted hallways & new carpet- Our apartment was very clean when we moved in-The location is right by the canal & close to The Circle & Mass AveCons:-Off leash dogs [Some residents refuse to use leashes]-Kroger shopping carts now lock so you can't bring up your groceries in them-There are only 2 [slow] elevators for the entire building. 1 of them is constantly locked for people moving which will cause you to have to walk all the way around the entire building if you live on that side-Exit doors that do not have key fobs to get back in causing more unnecessary walking around- Shortage of maintenance staff [it took about a month for our washer to get fixed... our dish washer took several weeks and ended up ruining the flooring]- Leasing office can be unorganized with packages and maintenance requests-Lots of crime and homeless people in this area.. there's a bus stop directly next to the apartments and the Kroger that can be scary sometimes
David Scofield: Great living community. I loved the attached Kroger. Very nice neighbors. Common space was very well maintained. Administration was always friendly!
Patricia Korzeniewski: Axis was my home for three and a half years. They were prompt with service requests, amazing staff, and the community felt like home. If your looking for a place to live Axis is the best community downtown Indy. This place is dog friendly and goes over and beyond for your fluffy child. 🐶
State Representative Randy Frye: We love Axis
eleftheria agioutanti: Maintenance does an excellent job everytime I have called them! Thank you!!
Sunie Rahardja: Sarah is very friendly, well prepared, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had a great visit experience
Yugeen Chaulagain: Safe, peaceful, and luxurious.
Yurie Snyder: Very big nice apartment. Beautiful pool. But not heelchair or stroller friendly. I had hard time to open the doors with stroller from the garage.
David Savage: Great tour but office was understaffed meaning I had to wait for a while. Not the fault of the person on duty.
Payton Gross: My Fiancé and I loved living at Axis. The property is dog friendly, has the best pool in Indy and is close to everything!! The view we had of the city was unbeatable. We will recommend Axis to anyone moving to Indy in the future.
Rashed Alkaabi: Really helpful management, I recommend this apartment for everyone wants luxury and comfortable place, this apartment is awesome.

333 Penn Apartments: what do users think?
Curt Nielsen: Incredible views of downtown Indy!
Eric L: Trash collection truck comes at 5 to 6am every morning with a loud BANGGGGG every morning. I am woken up by it every morning. If you stay here do not stay at the back side. Management seems not able to change the garbage collection time to sometime later in the day. This is the only major issue with this apartment…. If you don’t care about your sleeping quality stay here. :)
Steven Minor: I moved to 333 Penn from out of state in October of 2021 and I moved out January of 2022. The building was purchased by new owners so hopefully they will make some much needed changes. However, during my time there I encountered a lot of issues. The unit I selected had a lot of damage to the terrazzo flooring. The appliances were not in very good condition to include a microwave missing parts and a burn spot. The windows are very very drafty (I had a corner unit). My unit was 670 square feet and the heat ran non-stop. As soon as it would turn off you could feel the cold air blowing on you from the windows and the heat would turn back on within minutes. I had two electric bills over 200.00 before I decided to find another place to live. I purchased rugs, the apartment provided louvers to try and direct the air and none of that helped. The windows also did not provide any sound relief either so everything on the street you hear including people talking. If you rent here just be prepared for very cold floors and a very high electric bill. I really loved the location and the new owners are friendly. I just hope they invest in windows amongst other things in the building. This building is advertised as luxury living and it really needs updates.
Miles A: I made an appointment to tour a unit on their website, when I showed up the person on the intercom hung up on me! Very unprofessional
Alyssa Cazee: We LOVED our time living at 333 Penn! My husband and I lived here for only a year, and if It weren’t for a move out of state, we would have stayed right here. The location is unbeatable, the apartments are all updated, and the facilities are always clean and functional. Our apartment: We lived in the “New York” floor plan with terrazzo flooring, and we felt like we got a steal for living downtown. It was nice to have a little balcony to step outside or just to open the doors for fresh air. We were facing south, so the sun shone in all day for great natural light. I only mention this because we didn’t have to turn on our heat ONCE this winter, which was amazing. We rarely had maintenance requests, but when we did, Michael was up almost immediately and fixed whatever we needed right then and there. He rocks! It was always very quiet on our floor and above us (although we faced The Whit’s dog park, which occasionally would get annoying). Other than that, no complaints. We will miss our little home!Location: This is honestly my favorite part. We didn’t move downtown to be inside, so before COVID, we were out walking around most evenings and weekends. 333 Penn is right across from University Park, the World War Museum, and only a couple of blocks from Needler’s (grocery store), the circle, City Market, and a block from Mass Ave. We walked to Pacer’s games, the canal, library. Pretty much everywhere within a couple of miles and always felt safe. We don’t have a dog, but being right across from a huge green space is clutch if you’re a dog owner.Amenities: The lobby & character of the building is what attracted us at first! There is a laundry room that we used for our comforter and things like that, and it was almost always empty (and free to use). Same with the gym, office, & common room. Always seemed to be empty, clean, and available when we used them. We only wish the gym was larger and more updated, however it was nice to have something at least!Overall a great experience living here and highly recommend if you want a prime location and price downtown. We appreciate all that Irven did during our time here. We hope the management continues to be excellent here!
Nick Kerschner: We have loved our time living at 333!! My husband and I both work downtown, so being able to walk a few blocks has been priceless for us. Irvin has made our experience awesome by being incredibly responsive and positive with any request that was made. He was always asking resident's opinions for appreciation events and features we wanted to see changed around the community. Highlight: He was proactive in actually make those changes happen. (examples: making sure all packages were secure on laundry room shelves versus sitting in lobby, updating bike room with plenty of hooks and space, and scheduling fun resident events). Mike was an absolute God-send for most service requests we had-- he always got to our items the day a request was submitted and his expertise is second to none. He's always willing to lend a helping hand (and has the tools to get it done RIGHT!) Wishing we could take Mike with us everywhere we live going forward. We are so appreciative of you both for making our few years at 333 incredible, easy and fun. This move it very bittersweet, but THANK YOU to you both.Allie + Nick
Kyla Hall: stayed here last night thanks to an Airbnb. This historic building is absolutely gorgeous! The interior detail in the lobby is beyond breathtaking. Since I was just using an Airbnb learning to use the key fob was a little tricky, but I felt very secure here. The views are absolutely gorgeous, and it is conveniently located to so much downtown. I definitely can't wait to come back and stay here
Angela Fredette: Lived here for a year now and ever since the office has closed the building has not been taken care of the same way. There is trash on the floors in the hallways, elevators, common areas, etc. The floors are cleaned rarely so when people break a wine bottle outside the elevators it is a week or so before that is addressed. There are better options downtown for the money.
Daniel Rauscher: Great place to live!I moved here when my job relocated me downtown. Almost everything you need is in walking distance (grocery store is only 2 blocks). If you work downtown, I wouldn't live anywhere else. The apartments are great, and very new. (The building is about 100 years old, but the interior is all freshly renovated... I think I am maybe the 2nd tenant in my apartment). Great hardwood floors, awesome appliances.Apartments downtown are more expensive than anywhere else you'll look, but 333 Penn gets you the most bang for your buck. Other communities I looked at had similar or higher prices for older, not-as-nice apartments. (A lot of other places downtown don't even include washer/dryer in the apartment... 333 Penn does). They're also pet friendly, which was a must for me. I have a 45-lb border collie... most communities downtown have about a 25-lb limit or don't even allow dogs. There is a great little fenced-in dog park with astroturf for resident use.Maintenance has also been great whenever I needed them. You'll get access to the parking garage for like $100 a month (do the math... WAY cheaper than paying each time).Really the ONLY thing that has been a minor inconvenience is the occasional delivery. The doors are of course secured for key fob access only... usually the deliverymen can get access and drop off your package. However, sometimes I'll do Amazon's 1-day or same-day shipping, in which case I guess it's a different deliveryman. A couple times, this has meant that they show up after office hours, and no one can let them in. So occasionally I'll get my package a day or two later than planned. Talk about a "first world problem."HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to live downtown.
elizabeth vermillion: Excellent location. Pet friendly!!
Rebecca Armbruster: This is such a great location, just a block from Mass Ave. with the best views in town overlooking the World War Memorial and surrounding parks.
John Delia: The apartment itself was ok while I lived there. When I moved in it was clear that the management made no effort to clean the floors as entire floor had a coat of dirt which required scrubbing. They also promised new dryers in each unit and scheduled multiple dates to come out but never came during my 6 months of being there (the existing dryers, which are a tiny washer/dryer combo, required a minimum of 3 hours of drying and still wouldn't be dry). The windows do next to nothing from preventing the cold air from coming in so be prepared for high utility bills. Upon moving out, they sent me an invoice for additional pro-rated rent with no breakdown as to how they calculated the numbers so we'll see how this plays out. Mallory did make it clear in a voicemail that I won't be receiving my deposit back despite their lack of transparency. On a positive note, the apartment is in a great location but they will be increasing rent on the parking spaces due to new development in the area.

Notch at Nora Apartments: what do users think?
Jazz Carlisle: Jess from the leasing office is so incredibly kind and helpful! She was so quick to answer any questions I had. She helped us find a unit that meets all of our needs and I cannot wait to move in.
Emily Hopp: I love living at Notch! I have lived here for about 8 months now and really appreciate the updated amenities in the units and I also love how quiet my unit is. It is in a great and super convenient location, and I have always felt very safe in the complex. Taylor, the previous leasing manager, was an incredible help and very flexible in answering my questions and in helping me to decide on Notch as my home. Jess, one of the new leasing managers, has also been very kind and helpful whenever I stop by the main building. Erin in housekeeping is also incredible and never fails to put a smile on my face when I pass her in the hallway. I have not yet had to request maintenance, but from what I have heard from neighbors, Josh is always diligent and is quick to help out with all maintenance issues. Notch truly has a wonderful team working for them!
Ciani Yorkman: Had a tour with Jess and she was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great area.
Sera Radovich: Notch is such a great place to live. The location is prime with shopping centers within walking distance and the staff are incredible. The interiors are beautiful with spacious rooms.Taylor and Josh at the Notch office are so responsive and kind.

The building and amenities are beautiful and well maintained. I would 100% recommend Notch at Nora to anyone looking for a new apartment.
Adam Ryan: Hello! I grew up here as a child but I never imagined I would be back in Indy as an adult. The great people in Notch at Nora have been instrumental in making that happen for me. The leasing office led by Andrew, Taylor, and Jess were great in getting me through the door quickly so I can live exactly where I wanted. Josh in maintence is very prompt and professional when I have an issue and Erin in housekeeping always keeps my building looking like new. What more could anyone ask for? I love it here!
Kate Hamilton: So far so great! My boyfriend and I have lived at Notch for a couple months and have enjoyed it so far. The apartments have everything we could want. They are pretty quiet for this style, and modern. The previous leasing manager Taylor was so kind and helpful when touring and signing the lease, and helping us get adjusted. Jess, the new leasing agent, has gone out of her way to assist me with packages. Everyone who works here is very helpful and truly care about residents. This is a great community to live in.
Hardeep Singh: My experience living at the Notch has been great till now. In addition to the great location, the staff has been really courteous. It was always great to talk to Taylor in the leasing office. Josh helped with the occasional maintenance issues very promptly and Erin in housekeeping also deserves a mention for doing a great job.Kudos to the team at the Notch!
Kourtney Byrd: Wow. Where do I begin? I love my new home at Nora. I am genuinely grateful for Taylor. She gave me a tour and assisted me during the application process until I officially moved the day after Thanksgiving. She's the best, and I am happy to know her professionally. She inspires me! I have always desired to live in the Nora community. I love my apartment. Most of all, I love that I am building a new community- Aaron & Josh are truly kind and always check on me, and they make me feel at home. I am blessed to reside at a place that employs individuals who genuinely care about their residents at Notch at Nora. Lastly, I am grateful for Andrew and Jess. I always have great conversations with Andrew, and I appreciate his authenticity and checking on me. I recently met Jess, and I look forward to establishing rapport with her. She's nice and friendly. All in all, I highly recommend this place to live. Notch at Nora, residents will have direct access to the Monon trail, Nora Public Library, and the Nora Shopping Center, less than 10 minutes from the mall. Karla Perez: I’ve been a resident for 5 months going into 6 months and so far I am LOVING it! This is honestly the best apartments I’ve ever lived in. The locked buildings at all times/ security makes me feel safe and I haven’t had any issues with neighbors. Maintenance (Josh) has been nice! They get stuff done quick. Housecleaning on my floor is phenomenal always smells clean so props to Erin! Taylor, Andrew and Jess have been amazing at the leasing office. Taylor was my leasing agent and was a huge help during the move in process :) 10/10 recommend living here! The ONLY thing I do have to point out is the parking 😂 not enough visitors parking. They WILL get towed.
Ladybug: Josh did an excellent job!

And I'd like to mention that Taylor is the greatest ever leasing person that I’ve ever seen. She always keeps all my needs, including location, the direction facing, and floor preference, in mind and provides me with options that really match. Her active communication and efforts to help find the perfect unit impressed me. I believe this can really make the living experience even more pleasant. Again, Taylor is amazing and I’ve been appropriating her help on my way for apartment home searching!

The community is so helpful and sweet - on move in ,day so many residents extended a helping hand and offered their carts and time to help move us in. Our furry baby loves to stop in Taylor’s office for treats and the amenity building has so much to offer. We LOVE Notch!!

Carmel Center Apartments: what do users think?
Jillian Dunn: I stopped in recently for information on the property and the leasing girl Rebecca literally stopped in the middle of what she was doing to help me . I was offered coffee and a ton of information. The office itself looks straight out of a magazine . I hope I can get a two bedroom this summer ! Parking doesn’t seem like much of a problem either ! What a sigh of relief!
Jonathon Carroll: I've only moved in recently, but everything has been great so far. The amenities are very nice and the apartments are really close to restaurants, the monon trail, stores, and more. Overall, move-in has been very easy and I'm enjoying the location.
Nicholas Ramanov: I cannot say enough good things about Rebecca at Carmel Center! From the moment I met her, she went above and beyond to make my apartment search a fantastic experience. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the property, but she also took the time to really understand what I was looking for in a home.
Chris K: Thank you Rebecca for taking the time to give me a wonderful and informative tour! You answered all of my questions and were professional and knowledgeable. I am definitely considering leasing with you in the next several months!
Linda Lynch: Great Location. It is in middle of everything but quiet, you can hear birds sing. Maintenance staff is always responsive and fix the first time. Apartment are large and well maintained. Great place to live
Cynthia Ferguson: so far so fabulous!great to work with Rebeccalooking forward to life at Carmel Center
Cody Wiarek: The amententies on site are incredible, the complex is well maintained, and the staff members are friendly and helpful. Rebecca was delightful and made the entire leasing process as painless as possible.
Kayla Lockwood: Becca is super helpful and prompt whenever I have any questions or concerns. She’s a friendly face anytime I come down to the office and she makes sure that the pets here at the center are well loved and taken care of. My dog loves going down to the office because he knows he will be greeted! Great service at a great place to live.
Jackson Hayes: Having worked with many property management companies in the past, NTS is in a league of its own. If you are looking for an apartment complex that actually seeks to take care of the property beyond the clubhouse (which there’s pretty sweet by the way) then this is where you’ll want to live.
Abby Weick: Excellent place to live! I moved to Carmel right out of college and had an excellent experience. The location is fun and very safe. The staff is very helpful & even remembered my name. Move-in and move-out were both smooth. I moved out in July 2022 because of various situation changes, but I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move into Carmel.
Kenda McKinsey: As my second year lease is coming to an end, and I'll be moving elsewhere, I feel I should post a review for Carmel Center Apartments. Overall, I have had a good experience. The office staff is typically fairly attentive and available. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. They are extremely dog-friendly. I have been pleased with my apartment for the last 2 years for the most part. The only complaint I have, and the reason I've subtracted a star, is the apartment buildings truly need a key fob or code panel for entry. Yes, I know, this is Carmel we're talking about. Most of you are probably rolling your eyes at that. However, the residents pay more than enough to justify such a simple security feature. Literally anyone can come and go as they please. As a result, if you leave your bicycle in the entryway bike storage, or now even in the fancy new outside bicycle hub they've recently built (which also does not have a fob or code), expect things attached to your bike to get stolen at some point. My phone mount was snatched up and my little bike pack was sifted through (thankfully, I was wise enough to empty it beforehand). A key fob system is already in use for the fitness facility and mail room. I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by many residents if they extended that feature to make the actual apartment buildings more secure. It just makes sense. They recently implemented a huge remodel in the common areas and office, but that doesn't exactly do a whole lot for the current apartment residents, the people who are making the remodel possible by paying rent every month. Sure, curb appeal and first-looks mean a lot, but making residents feel secure in their homes should be a higher priority. Even Carmel is susceptible to thieves.
Venkat D: Awesome place to live, great management and maintenance. The complex is maintained very clean. Very close to trail and restaurants and other shopping needs. Unlike some apartment complexes who keep the deposit for some silly and unreasonable reasons, Carmel center returned my entire deposit. Sad that I had to leave because of a new job.
Jennifer Ashcraft: Always appreciate the timely response for a maintenance request. The workers are always friendly and it’s nice to feel like you can ask a question in case it happens again.
JPR Ransom (janran): People often ask why an apartment instead of a house? Well, it's a quality of life thing. Carmel Center Apartments offers spacious living spaces, lovely well-cared-for grounds, highly responsive, and exceptional maintenance service. This is a great place to call home.
Haley Reisgies: So far my experience has been amazing! Maintenance especially is the best :)
McKenzie Packard: Great place to call home! You can walk to restaurants, parks, theaters, and anything else your heart desires. But the most important part - the NTS staff really go above and beyond. For instance, our water heater stopped working after hours and we called it into the emergency maintenance line. John called me back very quickly and was at my apartment in no time. He was very kind and helpful the entire time. He went above and beyond and replaced the leaking water heater before leaving. We really appreciated his hard work!I would recommend living here (and calling John if you have any issues) to friends and family.
Mike Packard: Phenomenal community. Especially impressed with the maintenance team and their professionalism, attention to detail, and timeliness. We had our water heater go out at 8 PM on a week night and John showed up, was great to deal with, and replaced it within an hour.Would recommend living here - there is a certain peace of mind knowing you’re in good hands when you need it that.
Judy Beckner: Super response time for repair. Maintenance man was respectful, pleasant, and professional. Five stars.
Susanna Burkett: The maintenance team here is amazing. They are quick to respond and extremely thorough.
Michael Celis: TL;DR: Great place to live. Everything is electric. Budget an additional 250-350 a month for Duke Energy.I have had a two bedroom unit here for about 4 months now. The office staff has been great, the maintenance and grounds teams are efficient and anticipate weather events and prepare well. The units itself is gorgeous. The location is perfect.A couple of downsides are that the windows aren't the most insulated, and that can lead to poor heat retention in the winter, depending on where your unit is. I have had this issue.A larger issue, one I think most people would prefer to know before committing to living somewhere for at least a year, is that everything is electric. There is no gas. With mandated heating in the winter, and even just light usage of appliances, you should expect the highest energy bills you've likely ever had, during the winter months (possibly in the summer as well, I have not experienced that yet). I'm paying about $300 a month for electricity, which is just far too high compared to what is available elsewhere. If not for this last detail, I would expect to want to live here for a long time. Given the energy set up, I will definitely be shopping around once the time comes. If you don't mind the extra energy costs, I think you'll find a lot to like here.
Paige Batalis: Great service. Came in a timely manner and solved the issue. Very nice and polite.
