Little Cairo Cafe (Broad Ripple): what do users think?
Philip Baer: Planned to go tonight around 5:30p for an early dinner but was closed. Not sure if permanently?
Karen Momper: Don’t judge this book by its cover… The food was really tasty and authentic! The gyro had big chunks of meat, decent fries. The lamb shish kabab was DELICIOUS and the tabooli yummy…along with the sauces. Enjoy!!!
Richard Schillen: One would expect Egyptian food with the above named eatery, right? Nope, mostly Greek and Middle Eastern food. I can't vouch for its present offerings as we walked out when we didn't see anything Egyptian on the menu.
Sue Smitha: The food was very good and fresh. The service was also great. The hummus was the best ever.
Neon Penguin: Great service and food.
Tana Hunnicutt: Awesome food, location is easy access to parking and did i mention the food was GREAT! and so was the Turkish Coffee. YUM
Rachel Loveman: I took my boys here Friday afternoon for lunch. We ordered gyros (spicy and not), salad, and fries. Hot and fresh at a very reasonable price. Glad to have this option in the neighborhood.
Megen Smith: Food was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful.
Lloyd Hyderkhan: Very delicious and very polite service
Paula Luik: Quick and friendly service. We got the hummus with beef shawrma and Turkish coffee. Both were fantastic.
Abigail: Service was great, food was delicious, and the 4 for $10 beer bucket was an added bonus!
Mike: So good
Chris Freehan: Great food with wonderful presentation! Prices are very good. I lived in SE Michigan and know what Mediterranean food should taste like and this is VERY GOOD! I will be back frequently, you should try it.
Ashley Tanner: Three stars is a pretty generous rating, IMO. The food is better than decent, but the service at the Broad Ripple location isn’t great. Their website tells me to refer to Google for their store hours, and when I do it says that they are open. I placed an online order ($54 worth, actually) and drove here to pick up. When I arrived, the doors were locked and their ‘open’ sign was off. Unbelievable that the $54 isn’t available in my account because of an order I placed here that I’m not able to get to? So confused. No signage stating holiday hours. Prior to this, we’ve had a few not-so-great experiences here with the service. Not worth the time or money. If you like Little Cairo, skip the hassle of the Broad Ripple location and make the trek up to Carmel. Much more worth it.
Jack Sullivan: Gyro meat was seasoned well but not spicyI ordered the spicy version. Poor excuse for tzatziki that was just chopped cucumber in white water. Everything needed salt. Spanakopita was all dough with little filling. I thought the hummus was good, then I learned my fiancée added a few things before I tried it, so she made it good, not you guys. SMH.
Zoee Hull: What a lovely place! All of the food was very fresh, and definitely felt like it was crafted with love. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and definitely will be recommending it to everyone I know! I’m so glad I stopped by.
Jarron Burdine: Had the falafel and I loved it!
Stephanie: This place is great! Everything was very fresh and full of flavor. Great service. I’m a vegetarian and I got the Nile Mazah which was great because I was able to try a lot of different things and it was all meat free! And only $13. All around great experience!
Patty Kulesavage: For a place that has the word "gyro" on the window, you'd think they'd do better. The gyro meat is pretty good, not the best or even close, but decent. The tzatziki sauce though is just sub-par. It's watery, not creamy or yougarty, has huge chunks of cucumber instead of nice small pieces, and had little to no seasoning or flavor (but you can see tons of dill?). The fries are two star. The tzatziki sauce is one star or even zero stars. My fiance said his salad was not enjoyable, just too big of pieces, carelessly prepared.
Julie H: OMG, I'm a food delivery driver and I kept driving by but hadn't had a chance to stop in. I ordered the Pharaoh Salad w Gyro meat, out of this world fantastic. The salad is huge, with so many types of veggies, blows away anywhere else I've been. The homemade dressing is super good and the gyro meat is super tasty. I'll probably have to go back in a few days, it's easily 2 meals.
Elsie Grace: I’ve tried ordering lentil soup on two different occasions and they didn’t have it. I tried ordering the foul and they didn’t have that. Their vegetarian options are super limited, which I find surprising for a place that labeled as Mediterranean. It is even more disappointing that they don’t have the limited vegetarian options that are on the menu. I would be willing to give this place another try if they could get their act together.

Naf Naf Grill: what do users think?
Steven Gigli: I don’t know if I was lucky that day or what but that was some of the best food I ate in my life. Very fresh and the perfect amount of spice. I ordered the chicken schwarma, pita, falafel, they’re chips and one of each sauce. Grubhub

Piyush Tarale: Great food, including Falafel, for vegetarian optionsAmbiance is simple. It is easy to build your order if you follow the steps on the menu chart. Chicken Shawarma is nice. Pita bread tastes great when it's consumed fresh. We were sent back a few times at 8.45pm when the closing time was 09pm, and the staff said they ran out of food and couldn't help. It was at times disappointing driving for an hour after evening class without having food (this is the only and most suitable option for students with evening class)
Dan T: Wow!!!! Still in shock by how good that was! You've gotta try their steak and chicken shawarma. Can't wait to go back. Also very clean and the staff was friendly... best falafel I've ever had!
Adam Thomas: 10/10 Highly RecommendAt first I decided that me and gf would go to Qdoba and get a bowl. Walked past Naf Naf and smelled savory of the Middle Eastern food. We ended up get both bowls but I had the bigger one. Employees were welcoming, customer service was great and Sharteez the lady on the grill and on the line hooked me up with great big bowl of many things I can’t even remember besides (humus, chicken, steak, pita bread and other great things). All I can truly say is that “NafNaf was a win and way better than a Qdoba, Blaze pizza, subway, Domjnos, Sushi Bar and Arbys.” Naf Naf will be getting my money again!

S. H.: For the past years, I have visited this restaurant multiple times. Never a single time it let me down. I really love the appetizer sampler and lamb chop from here. Top notch all the time. The window seals are failing, which can make window seats cold in winter time. That is why I am giving 4 stars on atmosphere. Everything else is great.

Akash Bhapkar: We liked the food, we ordered lamb chops, chicken bosphorous and bosphorous special. Server was good, ambience was cozy, baklava was excellent. I am giving only 3 starts because of Tiramisu. We have tried Tiramisu in variety of places and heard about Tiramisu from this place as well. But we got served with some normal cake with cinnamon powder, it definitely was not a tiramisu. It didn’t even have a coffee flavor. Very disappointed with Tiramisu.
GC L: It’s a very lovely spot where you can get authentic Turkish food. I’m a huge fan of hummus but the babaganush stole my heart! We ordered Zucchini pancakes, Tzatziki , the appetizer combo that comes with hummus, tabuli, babaganush, salsa, doma and Ezme additional we got a falafel wrap with lentil soup. Honestly portions are so generous we were 3 and got some bins to take away. We ended up getting baklava and a lovely Turkish coffee. The place is so cute and has that Turkish vibes. We received our order super fast and the staff very friendly and helpful. Of course I’ll be back soon

Debra Stong: It's not easy finding a great Mediterranean restaurant, but look no further! This is it. Though the grape leaves for the dalmatis were a little tough, the atmosphere and hospitality reminded me of my visits to Greece and Cyprus in the Mediterranean! And the cocktails are worth there weight in gold. No shortcuts there. And it seemed so fitting after we had just visited Holliday Park with their ancient Greek looking monuments! Couldn't have capt the day off any better than at Canal Bistro!

Mark Boyd: Absolutely wonderful experience. Service, food, décor, location, everything just incredible. At one point during our meal a person was lead back to a table. He looked slightly "disheveled". I think the owner checked in on him, 1 or 2 from the back of the house, etc...he left after eating. It appears that the staff, owner, etc...feeds the young man. I think he is homeless. The humanity shown by the people who work there was awe-inspiring.When I left I asked if they had fed a homeless person, the hostess replied affirmingly. I offered to cover his expenses, she wouldn't take it. I offered a donation. She said she would take it & give it to him directly.Parking: Actually has a parking lot. Nice for Broad Ripple.
Lori Bauerle: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Clint Collins: This was our first visit to the Canal Bistro and it was worth the trip. Not only do you get a nice view of the canal, but the food is outstanding. I definitely recommend appetizers like hummus and lentil soup, but best of all was the grilled portobello mushroom, which was extremely tasty and perhaps the best I ever had. Everyone at the table enjoyed their entrees which ranged from the tilapia to chicken kabob to beef shawarma. I had the moussaka and it was certainly delicious. To experience classic Middle Eastern and Greek dishes, the Canal Bistro should be your destination.

Muted Xpressions: This isn't my first time visiting this establishment, as I used to live relatively close. I decided that I wanted something quick and not carb-filled while in the middle of rush-hour traffic. I figured I could not go wrong with a nice gyro salad so I made a quick stop. The restaurant is connected to little grocery store where you can shop for Middle Eastern delight. It's very nice to be greeted with a pleasant smile, customer interaction what's a certified 10. Service was rapid as well 10 I guess my issue was with the quality of the food itself. On surface-level it was very aesthetically pleasing to look at, it had unusual weight to it so I know that they weren't being stingy, off to a good start. It's humongous salad came with one small container of tzatziki sauce for the amount of salad which I weighed and it was almost 2lbs. The salad also came with one pita bread. The salad itself had a nice taste, my issue with the salad is that the cucumber and tomatoes were over right, the olives were not pitted so if I wasn't careful I probably would have broken a tooth and of the two lbs it's was 1.75lbs of iceberg lettuce that I could do nothing with. Wow I did enjoy the customer experience I do not think I enjoyed my salad enough to return.Vegetarian options: Soups, sandwiches, etcKid-friendliness: Gyro sandwich ,chicken fingers, chicken nuggetsParking: Self parkingDietary restrictions: Something for everyone
