Bro_tato84: Not going to lie, I would be lying if I didn't say I was nervous about doing this. But I decided what the hell. I have to say I was impressed. Nakita was my stylist and she was awesome. I made sure she new she could take her time and she did an amazing job and the instructor was very helpful and available to help her when she had questions. I will definitely be back and request her to do my hair from now on.
Tammy Lawrence: Came in today 3/7/23 with my friend to get a deep condition and a haircut. She wanted a hair cut only. The young lady she received did not brother to wash her hair when she ask about a wash was informed she had to go to lunch at 12. It was 10:30 in the morning. My young lady took me back for my deep conditioning the water was ice cold and the drain would not drain right. I have vertigo and going back down on the basin to wash my hair. So I cover my eyes. The young lady seem to have problem with this and went on the floorand was talking about me she did notrealize my best friend heard everything. I came back on the floor for my haircut. Explained what I wanted. She ask me was I tender headed. Proceed to comb my hair. My hair was tangled did not act as it was conditioned. My hair was cut a snail pace as her and her friends talked about lunch. After 45 minutes of cutting my hair she made a comment what did I want to be done with my layers because I said I had to be somewhere at a certain time which I never said that. At this time. I was just frustrated said forget it. I do think this is my last time going there. I did not receive a haircut. My ends was trim. The 20 deep conditioning has my hair hard. I've been going here for many years. This past year I don't feel like the students care.

I understand that while I’m sitting there three or four more people walk in and waiting still waiting Take everyone before me. I sat there for 45 minutes with an appointment would not recommend them that’s bad business all I wanted was a simple haircut, and the place is filthy
Tamia Cruz: I would give 10 stars if I could! Coming from a person that has had horrific trips to the salon to get my hair done, this has changed me forever. The service was amazing. Maya literally did an amazing job! I have course thick hair and she handled it with ease. My color is amazing, dry and straightening process was painless , and everyone was wonderful! Emily H: Came in today to have my hair fixed and blonde added, and instead of anything being done to my hair one of their "teachers" decided to make an example out of me and show her students that you can't lighten "damaged hair". I am a biracial person and my hair has always been fluffy and crazy, it's not "damaged" it's just very obvious that these people don't know how to do hair unless it's white hair. I was told that I didn't fail a test, however because they're a school they are refusing to do the service. And I was thanked for "not going crazy" against the teacher, who was using very a derogatory tone with me while talking to me. Maybe you guys should expand your education and actually teach your students how to do hair on other races. Will NOT be returning, what so ever.

Alexis Kemp: I would never recommend this school to anyone. My daughter goes here and hates every second of it. She only continues to go here because she does not want to waste her 20k. The staff is very unprofessional and there’s nothing being done about it because they are understaffed. They allow teachers to use inappropriate language and make degrading comments. They pick who they apply their rules to. Certain instructors seem to encourage gossip and high school drama. The school is unsanitary. I could go on and on. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

I think the board of education or whom ever is above the Teachers and even Director needs to seriously take these comments more serious. Instead of the enployees that work at this school making all the reply comment's on reviews. Of course you are going to say your sorry or go investagate a person so desperately trying to make them look like the one in the wrong. You keep saying the students and the school hours time after time for reason of a non professionally ran school. I mean with all these negatives I would hide and work on getting better ! Its obviously a joke to you all .Im sure your eyes are ready to pop out from the eye rolling you do when you see these. Because all of that gets done in front of paying customer's. Just doesnt make sense that this is still on going . You think its ok to run your school this way ?because you have been allowed. Time to contact the people above you all! Talking about your sorry but you dont see someone had been a client. When they left a bad review so basically you tried to make them sound crazy when I would never have said such a thing. You run a Business that allows for reviews .

Kelly Rose: I took my son to have his hair bleached and cut because he is a swimmer. We arrived at 5:10 for a 5:15 appointment. At 5:40 his person came and asked a bunch of questions unrelated to his service. One was how much time do you want to spend here? If I knew what I knew now, I would have said 2 hours max. Instead we were there for 4 hours! At 2 hours I decided to have my hair washed and styled. My stylist did an Amazing job and the only reason I gave a star. At 2 hours, another stylist, not the teacher, came over and told my son's person that she needed to put more bleach on the ends. He had been sitting so long that his hair was mostly dry at that point. At 2 1/2 hours she finally washed his hair. At that point I said no haircut hoping she would just dry it and we could go. Instead, she proceeded to put a darker toner with red undertones on his hair. I was shocked after all of that time waiting on it to be bleached and she put a brown toner on it. Naturally, it came out as a dark strawberry blond color. Not bleached like we asked. Again, where was the teacher? At 3 1/2 hours she washed it again and dried it. We were tired, hungry, and ready to leave at that point. He and I were so disappointed. When he got home he washed his hair hoping to get most of the toner out. Unfortunately, now I will need to take him to my salon and spend $85 to get it fixed. I should have just gone there to begin with. For simple services you could take the risk, however, I would not recommend ever getting your hair colored there! For Paul Mitchell- more color education and more supervision is needed.

Manu Grace: The service was horrible I mean god knows how thick my nails was. And my friend head was bleeding from stretching with hair finger nails when she wash her hair. The girl that working on the front desk her Name is karla she was Rude. I will never ever go back to this place horrible service and horrible experiences.
Madi Schilling: I had a tour today with Brittany Cook and she was so beyond AMAZING!!! I went in thinking it was going to be a tour and then I’d be able to start the application process on my own. She completely exceeded my expectations. She sat there with my guest and I and helped me complete my application and file for student aid. Such an amazing experience and I’m stoked to begin my journey with empire beauty.

Valentine Eater: I was a student & once I was transferred out onto the floor the educators pretty much disappeared/kept themselves too busy to help. My first client ever was extremely rude & had a hair texture I had little experience working with. No educators were around to help. Often the educators would make mistakes/give you advice that didn’t work. There is a lot of bullying & thieves. Lots of mean girls. I wish I would’ve gotten my license somewhere else.

KAREN JOHNSON: Such a wonderful experience. Krislyn was my stylist and she did a wonderful job. She took her time and listened to what I wanted and the result is a beautiful new hair color. Her instructor, Ms Penny was very involved in the process as well and I loved everything about the experience. I would definitely recommend this location and if you can ask for Krislyn, You will love your look. As a bonus, she is very personable and a great conversationalist which makes the time go by quickly.

We need to stand up and report this “school “ and their unethical practices, before they keep spreading this virus to our most vulnerable community members and to prevent more deaths specially, let’s protect our elder hossiers, because the majority of their clients are our beloved elders!

They strong arm students who may potentially be covid positive to be fearful to disclose their diagnosis, for fear of being dropped from the program. Not a good place.
Jaeleen Wright: I went for a relaxer on Nov 9, 2021 and will never go back. My first time there was great, so I decided to go back for a touch up. However my experience this second time was terrible. The lady who did my hair completely damaged it. There are now patches in the back of my head due to her leaving the chemical on for too long and not thoroughly washing it out. I noticed that when I brush my hair now, CHUNKS of hair will come out. When I run my hand through my hair, clumps of hair will also come out. I’m very disappointed, as I’ve been trying to restore my hair for the past year and am now back to square one. Please teach your students how to correctly provide a chemical service.
