Timothy VanderWall: My wife and I went there for appetizers and drinks to watch a UVA basketball game with a group. I think that we tried almost all of the available appetizers; all we're very tasty. There was a decent selection of beers on tap and many others available in containers. Service was very good. Nice atmosphere and a decent sound level for a sports bar. Menu items though seemed a bit pricey to me. TVs everywhere that you looked - many individually tuneable.

828cab: Stopped in this afternoon for a very late lunch. Seated quickly on the patio by a gracious hostess. Great atmosphere, very clean with pleasant staff.I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was very good. My late lunch date ordered the Schintzle with red cabbage and potatoes dressed with caramelized onions. We expected the Schintzle would be accompanied by gravy, but it did not. It was a little dry. The potatoes and cabbage were very good.Overall, it was a good dining experience.
Jason Schmidt: Hog Eye Navvy has returned to the Aristocrat! They're currently playing once a month. If you like Irish music or good fish and chips, The Aristocrat is a great choice. We were seated a little too close to the stage, so the amps were pretty loud (you may want to ask for a booth or back table), but we love the restaurant, the atmosphere, the servers, and the band.Kid-friendliness: They have some high chairs, and several families danced to the Irish music with their kids.

After 442 days of nothing but carryout and curbside service (and thank you for that) we have reopened for in-person dining! Sure, some things have changed. We are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays because we're still on the hunt for great staff. We're also currently operating on a first-come, first-served basis (sorry - no reservations, no call-ahead seating, etc.) for dining but hey - we're still here! Things will get back to normal soon. Whatever normal looks like these days.
Patricia and I can’t thank you enough for all the amazing support you've shown us since March 16, 2020 - the day we learned that our business was going to change in so many unimaginable ways. But thanks to you, we made it through and we've now reopened for in-person dining.
We're doing our best to make sure that your experience will hopefully be as stress-free and enjoyable as you remember and have come to expect from us.
We've missed you and we look forward to seeing everyone again!

Got tea and it tasted like dirty dishwater, nothing on the menu is what’s online, none of us could find anything we liked, and we got an appetizer of the queso and chips, the chips were so stale they cut the roof of my mouth open. Kathy Ladavac: For years my friends & i I have enjoyed the food & easy environment of the Rusty Bucket. We usually order the same thing when there for lunch. The delicious Double Nickel salad with chicken. It was always wonderful with grilled chicken on top of greens with ample pieces of blue cheese with a great dressing. Lately, instead of larger pieces of chicken, they’re more like small nuggets & blue cheese is difficult to find. I was extremely disappointed the last time my friend & I picked the salad up & brought back to my house to visit & enjoy the food. I realize restaurants are having trouble, & we certainly emphasize, however, this salad is not a cheap house salad. I’m sooo hoping this isn’t the normal offering now. Please bring back the delicious salad with nice slices of grilled chicken on top with generous pieces of blue cheese scattered throughout. It was delicious & satisfying. I’ve even bought the dressing several times.
