Libertine: what do users think?
Stephanie Reinhardt: Pros: Super cool place. The drinks were good.Cons: It took way to long to get drinks. Drinks were a bit overpriced
Joan Roark: Waiting for you to reopen! We are rooting for you...and look forward to seeing you all! ❣️
ben judkins: In town for the Fringe festival we found this cool downstairs bar that had interesting drinks and a cool vibe. It was my friends birthday that week so we decided to have a small group meet there Sunday night to surprise her. I called ahead 2 days in advance to make sure it was OK and was told they would love to have us. Fast forward to the night, when we got there, the only 2 employees had been told nothing about our group but seemed ready to deal with it. The bartender even asked me for a list of songs she'd like to hear, which blew me away.I was so sure the night would be epic.Within a half hour not only was the stellar customer service gone, they were outright rude to us. Also, they took individual drink orders and then when dropping off the drinks suddenly wouldn't hand them out without a credit card... Mind you, I had been there twice earlier in the week and was never asked to start a tab...So in review, this place has a great atmosphere and a cool vibe and good drinks. But need to figure out how to run a bar...
Cole Hart: If
Matthew Whitt: Amazing bar, drinks, and service!
Ali Danesh: I’m a huge fan of cocktail bars so this place caught our attention immediately. I enjoy the atmosphere with the bar being in the basement it gives off a speakeasy vibe. The menu is unique having inspirational quotes, along with distinctive drinks. Next time I come back to Indy I’ll be stopping by this great establishment!
Gretchen Szostak: The drinks were interesting, but tasted awful and the ambiance was reminiscent of a soulless, millennial dungeon.
Jeremy Garretson: Interesting place to grab a drink and meet new people.
Chloe Hill: great
sébastien payan: Angel's Envy Manhattan. Very good.
Jacob Darling: Awesome place to get a few drinks with friends
Kyle Royse: My favorite place to grab a cocktail in the city. Love this place
April: I have been coming here for about a year and am disappointed to say the quality has dropped dramatically. They seem to be understaffed with long wait times. The bathrooms were pretty gross with a toilet bowl cleaner thrown in the corner, dusty shelf, and stained chair. Overall it seems like they just aren’t properly maintaining things. Cracked booths and worn menus etc.
Lawaco Didier Toe: Place is a nice gateway, really enjoyable experience, big up to the wall dancer
Tapped By Teef: Second time coming here. This experience was way better than the last. Music was great. Very intimatechill setting.
Gav Peters: Loved this place. Having been to cocktail bars around the world, this place stands alongside the best. They slung me one of the top 5 drinks I’ve had in my life
Sean Geiger: Great drinks and friendly bar tenders
April Santiago: Cool atmosphere and strong whisky!
madison: Good stuff but pretty pricey
Matthew M: If the Old Fashioned is good, everything else will be good. The Old Fashioned is good y'all.
Cassandra Lynch: Cute bar. Very vintage vibe

Plat 99: what do users think?
Bianca Gogel: I've always wanted to check out this place and was slightly disappointed. For a Saturday night it was quite dead, not a big deal because I'm not a fan of loud places. Found a spot at the bar, and the bartender was nice and quick. I will say the place could use a deep clean. It didn't smell pleasant and kept getting a whiff of something rotten. Also, many of the light bulbs were out and dusty.
richard haluska: Waited 15 minutes to get a drink. Then waited over an hour still no food. Watched the waitstaff let food sit for 10 minutes and never take it to table. Watched customers ask for coffee up to 3 times without getting any. No one is in charge. Food was taken to wrong tables. There were only 20 customers. Watched several people walk out. After no food and waiting 50 minutes. Watching several others get served and wait staff wondering why people didn't tip on the $4 cup of black coffee about a 10 oz cup. After asking 3 times. Only got 1 star because zero wasn't available.
Jonathan Bryant: Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were ok but limited on brands and food. Not much on the menu and took a bit. But a good place of you are staying in the hotel.
Dick Bigger: Always have a great time at Alexander
Jacob Bower-Bir: The atmosphere seems inviting from the outside, and it's for a lot going for it in terms of ambiance, but it never really stops feeling like a hotel bar. The service tonight I was there was adequate, and the cocktails were unremarkable.
Vicki Body by Vicki: Amazing drinks and a nice atmosphere with views!
J.R. Smith: My first repose when looking at these reviews was "4.4 stars, you gotta be $#!++ing me." We stopped in on the way to our room after an event at Lucas Oil (Saturday night) to use our 2 complimentary drink tickets for staying at the hotel. It took 20+ minutes to get served at the bar. 1 bar tender on each side, with 1 guy bussing. The bar was full of people, as so was the seating area surrounding the bar. Poorly managed in my opinion. Saturday night, downtown Indy, Lucas Oil event, the should have had bar tenders on each corner. Would have benefited the customers, as well as the pockets of the bar owners and staff. For a premierly priced bar to only have 1 drink well, at the end where she is secluded from the customers, is a bit absurd. The bar tender also kept her bottle opener at the well, yet the beer coolers are located throughout the bar, so she would need to continually run to the well to open the bottles... poor layout. To top it off, our order of a screwdriver with titos was made with pineapple juice... the washes were kept in similar looking bottles in the well, so I'm assuming the bar tendering couldnt easily identify the different juices. Next time we'll just forego that experience and spend the extra time to walk, and go somewhere else for a night cap.
jason crouch: I did not like the back bar. Could not see many options.
Janel Cole: Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a great time hanging out.
John Brumleve: Make sure you Plat your a** on a comfy seat because you'll be waiting a while!! With no more than five other customers in the bar it still took longer than 45 minutes after ordering to get food. Probably longer but we had to cancel the order to make an event. Budget 25 minutes for one round of drinks, and frankly 2 hrs for food. Absolutely no sense of urgency or care from staff.
Matt Panfil: Used to love Plat99, but last night went out for a drink for my wife's birthday, and we waited for 45 minutes and finally just left. The bartender told us he'd be with us, then served everyone that came in after. Felt weirdly targeted, also he was super unfriendly and insanely slow.
Brian Hall: Great popcorn
Ryan Geiger: Bartender was inept.
Jay Grieves: A perfectly serviceable hotel bar. They are sometimes staffed such that there's no table service, but it's a small place, so that's not too much of a problem. The small bites aren't great, but if you need something to nibble on, the grilled cheese is pretty good and, indeed, small. If Nesso, the hotel restaurant downstairs, is open, you probably want to go to their bar instead.
Jacob Canada: Drinks were tasty and the staff was awesome
Monica Allen: The servers are great and the atmosphere is very mellowed out.
Summer Blouin: Fun hotel bar. Outdoor balcony. Good drinks. I got a hummingbird. Get the plantains!
Johnny Dangerous: Terrible service. Took 40 mins to get a drink. Bartenders were rude to not only us but to the waitress serving us. Charcuterie board wasn't good and it came with no crackers or silverware. On top of all that everything on the menu is overpriced. This was a Sunday after a Colts game before the Post Malone concert.
William Cherry: Clean and very artsy. Love all the art and the staff are so nice. Convenient to anything you wanna do downtown.
John Bock: The bar manager was great and the bar decor was amazing.
Jacob Hatcher: This used to be one of my favorite places to visit pre-pandemic. They had an extensive craft cocktail menu and always offered truffle popcorn. The service was impeccable and it was the perfect place to have a date night or catch up with friends. We stopped by this evening around 10pm (they are open until 12 on Saturday night) and the place felt like it had been forgotten about. The outside fire pits were off, tables put up, and couch cushions stained. No one greeted us when we came in and had to flag someone down to take our order after waiting for a while. The waitress definitely gave off the impression that we were bothering her by being there. We weren’t offered popcorn and they were closing and cleaning like it was past close, when they were open for another 2 hours. It definitely felt like they didn’t want customers to be there. The drink menu was pitiful and premade. In visits past it was a craft cocktail bar and they took pride in the drinks they served. We had the Platt 99 punch and it was awful. The server left for the night and just left her tables without saying a word; we had to find someone to pay our bill. It was disappointing returning after the pandemic to find this place in such disarray. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

1933 Lounge: what do users think?
Mike Mitchell: Best Food and Service in Indy!
Dr. S. Benjamin Brown Sr.: Wonderful ambience and the food spectacular
William Higgins: Drinks..food..help..atmosphere..all you need for good night out.
J V: Very confusing when you arrive up the elevator, it kinda just spits you out in the middle of the bar. But the drinks were good and the waitress was very sweet. The menu has appetizers on it but if you’re looking for something sweeter, ask for a dessert menu.
Erik Smith: Great cocktails and great atmosphere
Shayla Smith: Perfect hidden gem for a quiet, intimate spot. An amazing date spot with low lighting and untraditional seating options (couches, chair, etc.). The menu matches St. Elmo appetizers so you can’t go wrong with anything. Great cocktails as well, and the service is too notch!
Phil Jones: Everything about this place was on point.
Samuel Wakim: Fun event by Pit and Paddock, Turbo Smart, Advanced Clutch Technology and Turn 14! Lovely place.
Katherine Nicole: I have always had the best time here and Alexandra is the best server/cocktail waitress ever! She is always so great and personable and look forward to her serving me. She’s such a good soul and always smells nice 👍🏻
Todd Crowell: Best vibe in downtown Indianapolis. Sliders are incredible, and great cocktails.
Tim Parham: Cool atmosphere and great service!
George Palacios: I made a reservation and they refuse to serve us because our daughter was with us. I don’t see any where that is 21 and over.
Kent Lewis: The sliders and world famous shrimp cocktail are a must on the bar menu. The cocktails are excellent, but the private barrel selection is the true gem.
Adam Brown: Great intimate atmosphere, despite being busy we had great service. Small plates were excellent for any appetite.
Austin Laster: Food was phenomenal, service was absolutely amazing!! I was very surprised the quality of food was so good. First time try for us and will most definitely be back. If I had to add one complaint, it was a bit noisy, but everyone was just having a good time. 10/10 recommend!!!
Greg Graham: Great ambiance, excellent steak and drinks.
Braedon Kava (VeypMaster): Most amazing food and drinks! Very expensive but worth every penny.
Shawn Carnes (Baba's Share Show): It would be perfect if you could get served the full menu just like at the downstairs bar. Otherwise, amazing ambience and staff. 4.5 stars if I could, but only having the appetizer menu available is a showstopper for me.
Anna Stuchlik: What a cute and fancier place to grab a drink and apps with friends! The atmosphere was soo fun! It is a speak easy, so seating is more limited (just be aware if you have a large group at a busy time)! The espresso martini was great! We had an amazing time celebrating, makes you feel very fancy adult !!
Micki: Great ambiance here. Located upstairs above St. Elmo's Steakhouse, it is accessed from just inside the restaurant. 1933 Lounge has a small menu of appetizers, including St. Elmo's famous shrimp cocktail. The bartender was very good. There's various forms of seating from at the bar to high top tables to couches and chairs. There's also a fireplace. Definitely check it out.
Marcellus davis: Food and service excellent

Alley Cat Lounge: what do users think?
Ken Flanagan: Friendly staff. Great steaks cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere.
DIANE O'Connell: The bar tenders are the best.. Great ambiance. Warm and friendly with lots of character. Most recently a friend and I went for the Thursday night steak special. Our wait staff was excellent. The food was excellent and after we went to the bar to see James our favorite bar tender.
Brett Rathmell: The Broad Ripple icon , now expanded so you can chose from the old dive bar & pool room , regular bar or upscale bar all with the same good pub food choices from the same kitchen.
Melissa Sparks: Absolutely loved this bar! Relaxed atmosphere, great service and very good food. We had the fish and St. Patrick's Day special of corned beef and they were both worth going back for. Loved our bar tender!
Travis Claywell: Staff have been remarkably indifferent to my presence both times I went. VERY clean place though. Idk about the food because no one’s ever made mention of a menu when I went, but the kitchen looks very clean and organized.
Paulette Pucciarelli: So we went to vogue the venue before hand and ran into the alley cat. I believe our bartender's name was John. We sat at the front bar as there were two. There is also a lot of seating available. It was late and pretty slow but as the concert ended it built a bit of a crowd. The bartender was nice enough to stay open while we ordered anything fried to eat because the kitchen at that time only did fried and drinks. They had your basic drink selection, beer on tap, shots, mixed drinks etc. They have music you can pick from the app on your phone or from the box itself. Very low key good friendly bar. I enjoyed it. Great place to stop in after the venue a block away. Great location I believe it was street parking. Would recommend for a local bar.
Mu Krug: Good food at good prices. Bartender James, said he was bat manager, was exceptionally rude when asked for a receipt. Told him I had not been made to "Run a tab" the last 5 times we were there. Sooooo rude. Othrr bartender Mo very nice and accommodating.
Lisa Snyder: Good was great...our bartender Matt was excellent...after his shift he went to the back bar where we got corned been n cabbage and had another great bartender...with a rockin mohawk! We will be back! Happy St Patrick's Day!
jason hensel: Awesome place for a drink and a bite! Their burgers are phenomenal!
Jason Reinking: Good servers and great food. Friendly place
Alicia Ennis: AWESOME.
dc rolands: I’m all for places that are off the beaten path, but more than 50 dollars later for food that’s okay and drinks, no thanks. Oh and bring cash because you’ll be charged a fee for using your card. That’s something small-town joints would do, not in Broad Ripple, in a city of almost a million people!
Theresa King: Strong drinks… Food menu: kool aid no sugar, cereal, no milk, ham, no burger… 🤣 get it together! 😌
A T: Always a favorite!
Ezra Todd Shelton: Food is great. Drinks are good,!!
A2m D9: Vibe is horrible bar tenders energy plain horrible food bland
W.T. S.: Cool divey hole in the wall bar off an alley, cool vibe, cheap drinks.
Macie Miller: It’s so CLEAN here. 10/10
JD: Saw a guy come in with his service animal and after 10-20 minutes staff and the security kicked out the guy for his service animal. Very rude then banned him from coming back.
Nancy Andi: Loved my first visit and excited to visit more often. Great bartenders, great venue, delicious food, and had a blast playing pool!
Brian Tschuor: Best bar in the city. Bartenders are friendly and personable. And if you are looking for good food in the area The Cat is always a good choice

Tomlinson Tap Room: what do users think?
A Hahn: What a cool location! They offer a nice selection of beers, both draft and bottled. Staff working was friendly and offered great recommendations for food around the downtown area.
Chris Harrell: Best Hoosier - Indiana taproom north of Pearl Street TapHouse (Jefferonsville,In) and Casey will help guide you through their well curated tap selection.
John Braddock: Fun, great beer selection
Dave McGrath: Best setting to have an ale in the Hoosier State
Lee Elm: Great selection of taps, something for everybody. When we went there was a Three Floyd's BA stout and a Mashcraft BA barleywine.
Thomas Kujawa: Decent selection, fair price. Enjoy the central location and accessibility.
Gage Maness: Awesome spot to come and unwind with the freshest beers on tap!!! I will be back😁
Lisi: It was pretty hard to find it, but we can blame the construction. The staff is pretty nice and effective. The beer is awesome.
Mike Hause: Matt is the best at curating a phenomenal lineup of all Indiana beer, wine, cider, spirits!Hidden gem in Indy. If you're a beer nerd it is a must stop.
Derek Hughes: Great beer! Nice little venue downtown!
T S: A must visit in a cool setting for trying a wide array of Indiana beer. Get food from one of the many vendors in the market and being it upstairs to enjoy with a Hoosier beer.
JP Armstrong: Had a lot of fun. They had a very good selection of different beers, and a interesting place to hang out and talk with friends at the City Market after hours.
Amy Robert: Lob=stah roll was great an haddock reminded us of Massachusetts yumm
Jake Lazarus: Always have one of the best selections of local beer around, and the most reasonable prices as well.
Steven Johnson: Tomlinson is one of the best, somewhat hidden, beer drinking gems in Indianapolis. A must visit for beer aficionados looking for the best of Indiana beers, all in one place.
Austin Graff: Tomlinson Tap Room is a craft beer spot inside the old city market in downtown Indy. It's on the second floor with bar seating and plenty of tables nearby to look down on the market on the first floor.Although their beer list is impressive, I'm not a beer guy so I opted for a local sour ale and was impressed. Their drinks are on point. What is not on point is their food. I ordered a cheese and break dish and it was not very good at all. Not the worst, but below meh.Regardless, this spot is GREAT for a happy hour after work or a break from shopping in the market.
George Korakakis: Great craft beer selection!
Brandon Walker: Always has a great selection of local and hard to find craft beers, and lots of food options surrounding it in the City Market.
Trevor Overturf (OverturfTruth): The kitchen on 3/6/19 was amazing all of the food was cooked perfectly and presented well. Good on ya!!! For the fries exquisite..Also the hygiene was on point to a T. Thank you so much for a great experience. 1420-1530 3/6/19
Eddie Willis-Blunt: Yummy options
Chad: Always a great stop to make for craft beer. All Indiana taps really let's you get a taste of the region and staff is always friendly and helpful

Bar One Fourteen: what do users think?
usafradium: Dark, Loud, Asian twist on food. Incredible. This spot feels like you are in an ultra hip NYC secret eatery. Great place is you are looking for a venue where it sets a mood and the atmosphere provides a talking point. The burger is literally the best burger I've ever eaten in my life, which was completely unexpected. (nor do I normally order a burger at finer restaurants).
Lainey B: Great experience. Good cocktails. I liked they played vinyl music. You definitely need reservations to get a table. Baked alaska was delicious.
James Pawlish: Honestly, probably one of the worse dinning experiences I’ve ever had. This place tries to promote itself as ‘fine dining’, but it’s the furthest thing from it. Having lived in San Francisco for 14 years, I’m well aware of what quality food should be… and this definitely isn’t it!Speaking of food… it was mediocre at best. Also, the drinks were some of the nastiest I’ve had — straight toilet water.Because of the ridiculous 2hr ‘experience’ time limit and our prefix meal being a let down, my wife and I decided to get the $32 burger to go (we live just a few blocks away). Well, that was a mistake. The burger was one of the saddest we’ve had (how can you mess up a burger?!) Oddly enough, the owners of this restaurant also run Aplocolypse Burger across the street, which has tastier food for a fraction of the price. The only redeeming thing about Bar One Fourteen is its music selection and vinyl collection. Otherwise, it’s meh!If you want quality food and fantastic drinks, go to Bluebeard or Kan Kan.
Laura Gadberry: This was probably the most pretentious restaurant I have ever been too. Maybe our group just didn't "get it". Was the food good? Yes. Was it wildly overpriced for tiny portions? Yes. Will I be coming back? Also yes, for the mere fact that the fancy AF burger was the best burger I've ever had. Get drinks next door at Napolese (they are cheaper and better). Go to Bar One Fourteen for the burger and sourdough bread.Needless to say, we had a good time poking fun at the whole experience. We were in way over our heads for what this was. And dropped wayyyyyyy too much money to be hungry 2 hours later.Go for the burger, sourdough, and the interesting experience of eating in a small, dark, and very loud room.
Jim Templeton: Great ambiance with phenomenal drinks. We didn't have any problems with our service or our food. The bar reminded me of "speak easys" found in NYC.
Steve Stallings: The ambiance is very cool. It is quite loud, as a warning. They absolutely blasted Jimi Hendrix while we were there. Meh.The drinks were very tasty. Our server was really awesome - and visibly stressed. The food I truly thought was average. We ordered five items, per the servers suggestion, and honestly didn’t think any of the food was good. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff! $$$$
T. Morgenroth: I went to Bar One Fourteen with my partner for our anniversary celebration. I was excited but also slightly worried given some of the reviews I had read about food not arriving before being kicked out or the music being way too loud. My worries were unfounded - it was an amazing experience! The place has a speakeasy-type vibe with blacked out windows and a limited number of tables. The light primarily comes from candles on each table (ours had RBG on it - great choice), making the atmosphere very romantic. The music was loud, but not too loud to have a conversation. When we were there, it started with a German band I wasn't familiar with, followed by a Franz Ferdinant-sounding band, followed by ABBA. I liked all their choices of music and none of them were too "out there."We were greeted with a free tiny cocktail, served warm in little tea cups. I then ordered the "corn field" cocktail, which I absolutely loved. It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice smoky aftertaste. My partner had the fermented highball. It was interesting, but so strong that she could not finish it within the two hours. I later ordered the sansho coconut punch, which I also really enjoyed. Because it was our anniversary, they also brought us some prosecco, which we of course very much appreciated. The food was phenomenal. I did not think I would be able to get food like this in Indy. Our favorite dish was the yuzu scallops. They tasted so fresh and the balance of flavors was excellent. It didn't even really need the dipping sauce they brought. If anything, I felt like the sauce overshadowed the delicate flavors of the scallop. The scallops were followed by the beef taco. While we enjoyed this dish, too, we both felt like it was slightly too salty - but again, excellent flavors otherwise. The sourdough bread with butter (I think maybe seaweed butter?) was also amazing. As a German, I miss good bread since moving to the US so having some excellent, warm bread was great. The bread had a great crust and wasn't sweet like American bread often is. We also shared the koji aged beef. It's pretty pricey, but definitely worth it! I love the flavor koji brings to food but I had never had koji-marinared beef. It completey transformed the flavor into something magical I had never tasted before. The meat was incredibly tender, too. Lastly, we had the baked alaska dessert. Again, perfect balance of flavors - sweet and salty and the perfect finish to an amazing meal. The service was also excellent. Our server was very attentive. For example, she brought a new bottle of water immediately when we finished the previous one and when I was close to finishing my cocktail, she brought over the cocktail menu and put it on the table without interrupting our conversation. When we wanted to add something to the order, it was easy to get her attention. She also did a great job talking us through the cocktail and food menu and giving recommendations. I know some of the other reviews mention that service is very slow, but that was not our experience. We had two rounds of drinks (+the free prosecco) and five courses of food and were still finished within the two hours window without feeling rushed. The food came out at a really good pace. All in all an amazing experience. I'm kind of glad I don't live in Indy because I would spend all of my money at this place. I can't wait to go back.
Robbi Zirkelbach: We attended on a Saturday night and had a nice time until the end.  My only complaint is there should have been 2 servers and not one.  Our server was amazing and one of the best servers I’ve had. She was hustling and moving so quick and it is unrealistic for management to believe that one server is sufficient for adequate prompt service. We had to wait for our drinks several times and if we needed something it would be a while before she could make it back to our table.  I don’t mind waiting and am very patient, but when my second drink came I didn’t get to sip and enjoy because of your 2 hour limit and we were being rushed out of there.  My guest with me didn’t get her first drink she ordered until after the food started arriving.  I nice enjoyable time ended with a stressful exit and chugging my martini.  The issue isn’t the two hour limit they strictly enforce….. it is understaffing.  Our server was amazing!!
Benjamin Doughan: We went to bar one fourteen on a Saturday night in October. Our first time there and it was great. This was the second best dining experience we have had in Indianapolis. The experience is a unique one, you sit at a table for two hours (tight) fashioned after Japanese listening rooms. The room is dark and the music is loud but not overbearing. Great music selection for our taste. Ambience is perfect for the design they are shooting for with art and records that fit. Only critique is the window wall we were next to it would be nice it they did something with that at some point in the future. The drinks we had were exceptional. They start you with a welcome drink and cup of secretly spicy Chex mix things. Both great. After that you can pick your price range but everything we had was great. The old fashioned I had was the best one in Indianapolis. They had a mezcal drink that was citrus and fresh flavored, I was told the gun drinks were unique and great. For food we did an all appetizer run. Started with the caviar. It was plated with crème fresh on a mirrored plate with a credit card to cut your lines. The caviar was excellent, I think some of the best we have had.Next was a sour dough course. The bread was good but the pairing for us it was not well suited for our taste, bland and we could not figure out what they were going for. This was the only low point of the night.Next we had tacos. I think it was a Japanese beef and caviar taco. This was served on a air puffed shell. Amazing taste and original concept. The last course was a citric scallops course with dipping sauce. The scallops were perfect. Absolutely the best in Indy. The service was also top notch. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and added to the experience. Our bill was obviously high because of the caviar run but totally worth it. They added gratuity to the bill which we appreciated for the servers and cannot wait to come back.
Jesse Renihan: This was truly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. I never leave reviews, but I was so underwhelmed by this experience that I feel compelled to issue a warning to anyone that might want to go here. This is, without a doubt, some of the worst service I’ve ever had. We were brought in to a cool atmosphere behind a locked door, brought to a table, and that’s about where the good experiences ended. We ordered drinks, which took about 20 minutes to get out (okay, sure, i get it) and then didn’t see our server again for a whole hour. Various staff members proceeded to bring out our food while the one service member ran around feverishly for the other 10 guests in the room. We sat with empty drink glasses for a solid 40 minutes before flagging down someone else for assistance, and then about an hour and 20 minutes in our server stopped by for the 3rd time and said we were “nearing the end of our experience” or something along those lines and then proceeded to drop the check and inform us an 18% gratuity had been added. I am normally tipping in the 25-30% range because I come from a service background and appreciate the service arts, but after spending 230 dollars on this experience I was so far from impressed with the way everything is as handled that 18% felt like legitimate robbery. The food was pretty good, and that was the one redeeming quality.Save your money and go to Applebees or something.
Chelsea B (Beautii): Absolutely amazing
Dehvokhan Lenan: Absolutely impeccable lounge! The service was fantastic, and the menu featured some truly fascinating creations. I’ll be here again!
Wade Cunningham: Our experience was a caricature of a faux fine dining evening, almost worthy of an SNL skit. After being told I was not allowed to use my phone to read the menu “we don’t allow flash photography, it’s dangerous for my sensory experience” - that’s a quote from our server. To our main course not being delivered within the 2 hours you are allowed to stay seated at their table “let me check on that” (it never came) . and when we asked for water we were told that “I asked my manager and I was advised that I’m not a permitted to leave water on the table for you”. The worst part is, the staff genuinely thought they were doing something special.
Drew Daudelin: honestly not dark or loud enough
Matthew Krach: One of the many issues I had with this establishment were the "votive candles" on every table, which replaced icon images of Christ and Mary with celebrities and politicians. While this might seem humorous to the patrons or owners, it's actually highly insulting to Catholics, Orthodox, and anyone who calls themselves Christian. Replacing what Christians consider sacred with other images is mockery. The double standard is that if the same thing was done with an image of the Prophet Mohammad, there would be justifiable outrage, as that would also be an offense against that which Muslims hold sacred. There were many other off-putting things here (check other reviews) but I just wanted to emphasize this aspect that was disappointing.
Cody Donald: Rude staff. Wouldn’t recommend.
Peter Blitz: Cute settings and good music
Mary Ellen Straughn: I’ve never experience a restaurant quite like this before. Our reservation was at 7:15 pm. The windows and doors are all blacked out so it’s easy to pass by the place entirely. Inside, the interior has very subdued lighting which takes awhile to adjust to. We were told by our waiter that the lights get dimmer as the evening progresses and sure enough, about an hour into our meal, the lights dimmed again. Although each table has a candle, it was hard to read the menu without the aid of light from our phones. The music is loud on purpose with an excellent sound system and an eclectic selection of music. This is not a place for conversing. It’s more about the experience of eating and enjoying food that is served on small plates. We shared a burger and lobster roll as our main entree’s and a round of caviar for an appetizer. All the food was excellent. It was an interesting eating experience when you can’t see your food well and forces you to focus on the taste. I would recommend this restaurant to others, but be prepared for the unusual ambiance.
David Browning: Great cocktails and music
Emily G: Music 💯
Cassandra Mercedes Broadwater: Contrary to almost all of the other reviews, my boyfriend and I didn’t like this place at all. In fact, we left before we even ordered. It was so incredibly loud. I couldn’t hear him across the table to talk. The music was good but it was way too much. Then, there were these off putting cards on our place settings. It was strange and made us feel really uncomfortable. What little service we did have was great though. We went next door to Napolese to eat and our waiter arranged that for us which was so kind.Anyways, I wish I would have known it was that type of place before hand and it may not have been as bad of an experience.

Nicky Blaine's Cocktail Lounge: what do users think?
David V: This place is dope. Mark the bartender was really cool. He had great conversation and the place was a great end to a good NRA weekend.
Dup Scuva: My wife and I had appetizers and great cigars at this lounge. We arrived before 7pm and had many options for seating. We chose the comfortable leather sofa. This place has an amazing speakeasy vibe. If we stayed in Indianapolis, I could see us frequenting this spot. The dinks were amazing. The Kennedy 109 was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. The seafood stuffed portobello was tremendous.
Gabe Gordon: After paying a 5 dollar cover for an empty place in Indianapolis me and my friend had an old fashioned at the bar. We then asked for a couch to have a cigar. By the time we sat down the bartender had made his way across the room to play Johnny badass and tell us we made a comment about the waitress? We were drinking and while me and my friend talked back and forth there was absolutely no degratory comments about anyone. We were asked to leave which we did. We simply were sitting on a couch likely to about to spend 300 bucks on cigars and drinks. But ultimately the incompetent employees ruined that for us and Nicky Blaine’s. Considering it was a Friday night and the place was a dead. The owner may want to reevaluate who they hire.
Jon Weinkauf: Excellent atmosphere great staff and a place we often make a point to visit when we're in town.
Andrew Motz: Excellent place. Highly recommended cigar lounge
bruce goodnight: I have been to this establishment many times and have enjoyed myself just as many. When any issues have occurred they were resolved very quickly. The management has been great. Best cigar bar in Indy. Also amazing food and drinks!
Onyx Uzomah: Great vibes and great service! Our server was attentive and sincere with product suggestions. While it is a cigar lounge as well as bar, and some smoke smell is expected, it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, so either we went on a less busy day or their ventilation system is amazing.
Waylon Ford: Such a great little place!! At first going downstairs thought hmm. However it is like stepping back into the 40s and such a cool bar. Mike on Saturday was great and Mark on Sunday night was superb!! Hello from Texas!!
Wan L: Clean, friendly staff, and nice environment. 10/10
Gloria Mueller: Love the cocktails and atmosphere
Sean Daniels: Nicky Blaine’s never let’s me down. Comfortable seating. Great service and drink selection.
John Moore: Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to relax after dinner.
John S: I don’t go to a lot of cigar bars, mostly bc I like bringing my own cigars and I smoke at home. If I’m in Indianapolis, I make a point to go here. If you buy a bunch of drinks they’re fairly laid back on a bring your own cigar type policy (it’s nothing personal I’m sure they have good stuff I just have a collection at home). Their drinks were great and I love the atmosphere.A rare cigar bar you can bring a date to. Good place for a high end cocktail.
Christopher Newby: Perfect place to just be.
Kenan Alibegovic: Always a great experience at Nicky Blaine's. Between 15-20 food options to try out if you're hunger. Extensive martini/cocktail/liquor selection. And an absolutely massive cigar selection (would recommend looking up before coming to decide on a few choices), with cigars from all over the world. Just as a warning, place does smell like constant secondhand smoke, but I hope you'd realize that after seeing how many cigars they offer! Excellent experience, would highly recommend visiting if you're in downtown Indy by yourself, with a group, with a date, etc.!
Robert Mark Lewallen: First visiting and was quite impressed with the atmosphere and 60s vibe.Very well ventilated. Well worth the visit. Reasonably priced. As for the service our server Roxanne was awesome. Professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the cigars offerings. Made an awesome memory. Thanks Nicki Blaines.
Ms. Nakita D. Whyde: I would give a negative zero if I could . I can't believe how myself and my friend was treated last Sat night. I had been there once a couple years ago an had a great time with a younger aged group. I remembered the time an I had been telling my older friends that it was such a great spot. Smh no room fro all the details but after the host choose the area for us to sit and after 45m of no service in a empty lounge , we received water only and then when I flagged down someone an asked for a cigar an drinks , she had the nerve to waste her time an energy to come back to me an my friend and say some body told her we demanded to sit in the spot we were in. I couldn't even say anything. I do believe my friend and I were judged for me being younger an him older. I just told her that as far as customer service I can't believe you came over here to deliver that kind of message to us. And then we left . The door man was awesome tho. We tipped him on out way in an he was pleasant even before that. This replaced what used to be a great memory of this place with such a bad memory for me and for my friends first time experience. Neither one of us will be back
Mark McClelland: Legend
Gary Cummins: Here's what you need to know:For an upscale cocktail and cigar, do not miss this place.Wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the whole menu...which is such a welcome difference from other bars.
Laparys Jae: Great place to chill n enjoy the best drinks the best service the best smiles 😊 thanks Nicky! #WeloveBlaines
Moe Cizlak: Top notch cigar bar. Mike will take good care of you.

Tappers Arcade Bar: what do users think?
Brian Beaman: Retro games for free?? Omg. Sign me up. Love it so much
JustFollow Kenya (Mswhatleysworld): Great bar with 2 1/2 rooms of arcade games. Buy a drink to play. Located in fountain Square downtown Indianapolis.
Adam Scroggin: If you like old school arcade games and wanna try to beat me at MK II, come find me. I’ll finish you no problem. Kitana wins. Fatality
George Wright: Edit: regrettably I must revoke my previous review. I'm not sure if he's a new manager, but Adrian absolutely ruined tappers as a whole. We won't be back for crawls or events until something changes.
Dana Bushman: Please address the racial profiling that occurred from a manager, Adrian Bledsoe. He incorrectly accused a customer of tagging the restroom with no proof and said "everyone has prejudice" when the customers expressed their concerns of racial profiling. That's unacceptable. He needs to be terminated and all employees need diversity and inclusion training.
Daniela Leyva: Tappers used to be good but Adrian Bledsoe wants to racially profile its customers… TRASHHH.
Ulysses S: Adrian Bledsoe racially profiled my sister’s boyfriend, accusing him of “tagging” the bathroom stalls. He’s a grown man. He doesn’t do that. And he’s been a patron of this establishment for quite some time, a real regular. I recommend you look elsewhere. Indy has plenty of bars that don’t have these issues in 2023. Tappers Arcade should fire this manager.
Brad Urban: Love this place!
Jacqueline Davis: Can't win what a joke
Travis Vallejo: Very fun atmosphere with good beer! They have a great selection of pinball games plus all the classic games are FREE! Really hard to not have a good time at this unique arcade bar in Indy.
Robert E: Fun times here.
Ben Dailey: This place is *still great.Edit: Added still
Devin Moran: My friends and I go here all the time! Great environment to be in, staff is great!
Taylor Fuller: Get your game on retro style.
Chris H: Been going since they opened. Amazing place, even better since the expansion and addition to pinball machines!
Michelle Albright: Blast from the past good time!!
JC English: Places like this provide so many memorable and fun nights. Please support this incredible local business!
Netra Faeborn: This is the best barchade in the city with a pretty good drink, selection, and a lot of fun tournaments and events as well
Home, sweet Home: best bar in indy hands down. Full of activities and a great way to bond with friends!!!
Chris Owens: Wide variety of beers at reasonable prices. Machines were clean and operable except for only one machine. In this industry that's a very good ratio
Joshua Ohmer: Good variety of brews on tap. Game all you want.

16-Bit Bar+Arcade: what do users think?
Bora C: Great cocktails, arcade games, some very kind employees but it's "managed/owned" by someone who might try and ruin your night just because
Nerd Reaper: Great games, Delicious drinks, fantastic staff. A fun night out.
Jenna Wertman: Had a lovely time drinking sunny D seltzers and playing pac-man! As with any industrial-look interior, it can be a little loud inside but this place is really fun. The variety of arcade games is great and the little tables everywhere to set drinks are a nice touch. The cocktails were fun and the beer list seemed to have a lot of varieties.
william dake (Bill): This place is always amazing
Jessica Kahn: Good drinks, fun games. No Star Trek paraphernalia but I forgive them 3
Michael: A free arcade with lots of space and a lot of drinks on tap. Worth a quick trip if you're looking to pass some time!
Savannah Montgomery: Friendly staff, tons of games to choose from and good drinks!
Amie Murphy: Yummy.drinks, free arcade games, lots of other kinds of games, disappointed there was no pool tables but the speciality drinks are worth it by themselves! I had the Carrie fisher- blue drink, and my friend had something peach lol I don't remember but it was yummy also!
Iodean Allen: So fun! Will come back again.
Mariluz Soto: Love this place so many fun old school games to play, as long as you buy a drink (accept the awesome pinball machines). Bartenders there are sweet and are ready to recommend a drink to your tasting. Clean comfortable and never overly full. It was such a fun experience.
Josie Pipkin: I had such a great experience my last time at 16-bit. The service was perfect due to our bartender Anthony!!!
Ryan Rotundo: Really unique place overall, with some creative Cocktails. The bartenders and other staff were a joy to talk to and the vibe was great. Unfortunately a good amount of the arcade machines were unplayable due to old age, and it was strange having to pay to play the pinball machines when all of the other machines were free.
Alex Braxton: It's all fun and games
Grace Needler: Fun times were had.
DJ Y2J: Way better than it used to be 2 years ago. Staff super friendly
Eli Tyler: Loved the drinks and the throw back to playing 64 bit arcade games! I'll be sure to bring cash to get quarters so I can play more pinball next time. Great spot to hang out and have fun, lovely atmosphere.
Leo Warbington: I’ve only been there once but it was definitely a great experience for my girlfriend and I. Fun games, great music, and drinks were really good. Shoutout to the bartender Anthony, he made some amazing drinks and displayed great customer service. I also noticed his ability to move swiftly and get everyone their drinks in a timely manner despite the traffic they had in there, very professional young man. I definitely recommend 16-bit for anyone who just wants to have a good time with friends, acquaintances, etc. 5-star for sure.
T Sharp: Shout out to Anthony the bartender for being so nice and pleasant. Great atmosphere will definitely be going back
iWriteEther iWriteEther: My husband & I enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were amazing, the old school games brought the kid in us out, intimate spots upstairs of your socially awkward like us but overall the vibe was great and we will return.
Johnathan Coleman: Great service, amazing atmosphere, perfect addition to downtown indy nightlife!
matthew murdock: One of the best places to go with friends to just drink and play arcade games. The atmosphere is great and the people are nice by far one of the best bars around Indy.

Ball & Biscuit: what do users think?
Nataly Luja: Went out for a girls night with a friend, and this place was just perfect. It's seat yourself, which I didn't know at first. The drinks were amazing, and very humorous with the names. Our server was also great and very attentative.
Doug Padrick: Service was weird
Tiffany Sanchez: Service is always amazing
Esequiel Nathal: I come here every time I'm in town. Great cocktails and atmosphere
Jayla Humphrey: I came in on Saturday and that was my Second time visiting . Very intimate setting with great music and even better drinks! The style/decor is top tier! If you’re looking for good drinks then this is the place! Not really a huge food selection so definitely would only come here if you are wanting to drink and have already ate or plan to eat afterwards. Otherwise they have a decent appetizer type menu. I did try their chicken quesadilla and it was decent.
Phoebe Dutton: Great vibes, curated drinks ( both alcoholic and non), and even better people!
Lainey B: Great chill bar with good cocktails.
Lazarus Doyle: Completely appalled by the experience my friends and I received during our visit yesterday 1/21/2023. The female working behind the bar and the male serving were very rude and disrespectful. My friends and I stopped in for a drink to celebrate my birthday and when my boyfriend asked what the waiter suggested or if there were any special he aggressively tapped on the menu suggesting for him to just look at the menu. I didn’t like this at all, I gathered all of the menu and took them to the bar and asked for someone else to come to our table. The female behind the bar then came and slammed the menu I brought back to them on the table next to us. After that we chose to leave. I am extremely disappointed as this has been on my lists of places to try but I will certainly not be returning.
Siara Cox: We went to this location to celebrate my friend’s birthday. When ordering, our server was asked what his recommendation was and he said “there’s a menu right there” as though this isn’t a question to be expected as a server. My friend then went to return the menus, and a female bartender/waiter returned and slammed the menus on the table next to us. As we were leaving, another party asked why we were leaving, and when we told them it was due to rudeness from the server, they stated they felt the same way. The vibe in the establishment was nice until the terrible service we received. Very unfortunate.
Bri: Just left this establishment and my friends and I feel completely disrespected. It’s my friend’s birthday and the waiters were rude and not helpful at all. We were the only all black table in the room and it absolutely felt like it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Walt Rzecznik: Their music setlists are great. Really liked the strength of their cocktails as well
Andy Rice: Great place for drinks and visiting.
Shannon Lamb: I've always had great service here! I definitely think there could be more tequila cocktail options.. but everything I've ever tried has been unique and delicious. One of the best cocktail bars in Indy with lots of options to expand your horizons.
Jonny: Favorite craft cocktail bar in Indy!
Felicia Wilson: Small lounge with decent Decor. Came for a drink and may I say the drink I ordered was small but very strong. It was a great drink. Makes me wanna come back and try more! The waitress recommended the drink and great job she did! I think it was called The Nutcracker.. Definitely a good place for Datenight Cocktails.
Mike Scott: Best cocktails in Indianapolis.
Akshara Tarkas: We went there for drinks late in the evening and considering it was a weekday we weren’t a expecting quite a big crowd. The place was bustling with people yet there was a lack of vibe and overall atmosphere.Drinks: Strictly ok and they serve in cheap reusable plastic glasses! The one I ordered had too much syrup and hence overpowering the drink and making it super sweet and another one that my partner ordered was meh!Ambience: This was the only issue! The place was a lack lustre in terms of music, lighting and vibe! We got one drink each and left for another place as quickly as we couldPricing: The drinks here are $12-14 depending on the section you’re picking! Honestly I don’t want to pay $12 for someone to serve me drinks in cheap plastic glasses!Honestly if you’re on Mass avenue might as well go to Wise guy lounge!
Erin Barr: This bar feels like it's in New York City or some other major hub without being pretentious. Fantastic for a date or with friends.
Alex Nelson: Delicious Bourbon Smash and great ambiance.
Gary Russell: Very cool atmosphere.Drinks were okay.Limited food menu but everything we had was delicious.Best for two!
Gia Esposito: The lemon gin and tonic was really good. I normally don't get gin and tonics but this one was good.
