Baymont by Wyndham Indianapolis Northeast: what do users think?
Melanie Davis: Heavy weed smell pervasive throughout the hotel. Had to ask for a blanket for the bed. Room was sparse, and the toilet paper dispenser was broken, so the roll was just sitting on the counter. Staff were friendly enough, but when they brought the extra pillows and blanket to the room, they reeked of marijuana. Happy we were only there for a night.
Kyia Smith: This hotel is horrible!!!!! (The Baymont hood and suites)The people at the front desk were rude, and if you have kids DONT LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN there is nothing in the window to protect the kids from falling nothing to even cover the window you could just fall straight out by one little slip, there was 3 stains on are mattress, the lamp is broke, chair was broken dirty towels in the bathroom when we first came in there, the elevator was very bad and slow and felt like it would brake down at any minute we had to rake the stairs, the pool had to much chlorine in there hurting the kids eyes, there was 2 big cracks in the door, kids everywhere being loud (ratchet & ghetto and I’m black) the tv wasn’t working had to have somebody come up and fix it. It was only one nice lady at the front desk. They should also make ice machines on each floor.
Angelique Solano: I will begin with the smell. The hallway smelled like sour milk and the room itself smelled like a bar room ashtray. I can't imagine the last time they cleaned the floor, because after walking barefoot on the carpet for 5 minutes our feet were black. Within 24 hours my son had difficulty breathing and developed a significant cough. Immediately after we needed to rewash all our clothes to get the smell out.The staff was impolite and did not seem interested with basic customer service. After this experience we will not be staying at a Baymont in again.
Gladys Nieto: Esta bien ubicado, pero la habitación tenia polvo.

Liam G: Stayed with my girlfriend for an overnight. The place was pretty clean; bathroom amenities were a little lacking and the breakfast was subpar, but the overall experience was good. The manager was super friendly and made me feel welcomed as well.

Ms. Lane: **UPDATE 2023**I have never given any place 5 stars, but this place is the best of both worlds! Classy, but laid back w/ a pool and the best prices. Also, the manager Katie is the most amazing manager anyone could ask for at a hotel...no exaggeration; as long as she is the manager, anytime I need a room I will be sure to come here!Amazing job & keep it up....Very nice rooms & 1 of the few hotels with an indoor pool that's open during covid-19.... Unfortunely, the staff is the ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED considering EVERY hotel I've ever been 2!
Zerma Clemons: I have been here probably a little over a week with my kids and I must say the hotel is very clean..The employees and the manager is amazing. My room was very clean. so I would say they’re doing a good job compared to the other hotels I stayed at around here in this area.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jared Bustos: Just checked in and the room is a mess. Stinks, hole in the closet door. And the tv’s don’t work. Do not recommend.

Breanna Amoussou: It was a decent stay, stayed for 2 night, breakfast wasn't bad either. I think only minor issue I had was I had to go ask for blankets for the pull out bed, Other than that it was pretty good, smelled good also! I'd stay here again if I plan another mini vacation to Indianapolis 😊Rooms: Space, smelled and looked cleanSafety: Seeing security cameras and that staff is able to view right at the deskFood & drinks: Texas steak house right across highway, McDonald's, Crab shack, Tacobell, Costco and Domino's are all right down the road also not to far
Mark Petrison: Summary: Extremely nice. In the first of two stays, the air quality was bad, being too heavily "perfumed," but this problem was gone for a second stay._____Main bedroom: Bed, TV + remote, 2 end tables with lights + electric plugs + USB chargers, thermostat (H/V/AC), mirror, dresser.Lounging room: Couch, TV + remote, comfortable chair, desk and wooden chair, dresser, mirror, cord phone.Kitchen: Microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine + coffee packages, small cups, hair dryer, well lit mirror, ice bucket.Bathroom: Toilet; fan light; plastic bathtub/shower (some anti-slip floor roughness; grip bar near back; curtain); sink; large well-lit mirror; smaller secondary extendable beauty mirror; bathroom tissue; face tissue; towels; shampoo, conditioner; soap, cleansing bar, makeup remover.Closet: Hangers, iron, ironing board, foldable strapped "chair."Breakfast: Scrambled eggs; biscuits + homestyle gravy; milk + cereal; yogurt; bread + toaster + jelly, butter, peanut butter; apples; waffle maker machines; orange juice + apple juice; coffee/expresso machine (caffeinated/decaf)Rooms: Main bedroom: Bed, TV + remote, 2 end tables with lights + electric plugs + USB chargers, thermostat (H/V/AC), mirror, dresser.Lounging room: Couch, TV + remote, comfortable chair, desk and wooden chair, dresser, mirror, cord phone.Kitchen: Microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine + coffee packages, small cups, hair dryer, well lit mirror, ice bucket.Bathroom: Toilet; fan light; plastic bathtub/shower (some anti-slip floor roughness; grip bar near back; curtain); sink; large well-lit mirror; smaller secondary extendable beauty mirror; bathroom tissue; face tissue; towels; shampoo, conditioner; soap, cleansing bar, makeup remover.Closet: Hangers, iron, ironing board, foldable strapped chair.Safety: Quiet, with low likelihood of encountering dangers or disturbances, as far as I can tell.Walkability: Arby's and other $$ priced restaurants nearby. Steve Craig: Was there for a family memorial service. Asia and Angela made us comfortable and welcomed to be there going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back. Thank YouRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jessica Brown: We stayed 2 nights here. Breakfast was good. I loved that the pool stays open until midnight. The hot tub was very relaxing. The showers had great pressure, and you don't normally find that at a hotel. Breakfast was good. They had lots of options. Interacted with 4 different people at the front desk, and only one of them was rude. That was pretty great to me, considering how many rude people I encountered in Indianapolis. I would definitely recommend it, and if I'm ever in Indy again, this would be my choice of hotel!Rooms: The rooms are spacious. I did see another review and the Marijuana smell, and that's definitely a true thing. It reeked of weed. The mini fridge is a pretty nice size, also had a microwave, and a blow dryer.Nearby activities: It's right off the highway. About 10 minutes drive from shopping places, and lots of food. If you forgot something, there is a Family Dollar and gas station in walking distance. Also, a taco bell you could walk to.Food & drinks: Breakfast had coffee, apple and orange juice, and whole and 2% milk. Lots of options for food. Waffles, French toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, I'm sure I'm missing things.
Richard Gress: It's a dankish hotel. Indeed, as dankness goes, it is among the danker hotels. Its dankness is of the mid to upper level.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Hundal Preet: Very good food and service
Jessica Helms: Nice pool and hot tub area
Kristie B: Hallways and elevator smelled like pot the whole time. Pillows are square which was fine just different. Walls creaked really loud when walking in the room. Breakfast was included and everything you could think of for choices: cereal, fruit, bagels, waffles (reg and banana), pastries, muffins, french toast, biscuits n gravy, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, milk, apple n orange juice. Non-smoking but they didn’t have control over ppl smoking pot.
Brittany Rohmiller: Staff was nice. Rooms were also smaller than other Baymont rooms. Breakfast was pretty good. The worst part was the other guests hiding luggage carts selfishly in their rooms for hours and getting a disgusting loogie expectorated onto our car that was perfectly parked between the lines. General crowd gave a very ill-mannered and "gruff" vibe.
greg Morgan: Room was nice had a few issues with lights not working. Jacuzzi tub was nice but plants hanging over it had about 2 inches of dirt on them. This was my honey moon stay first night of arrival 2nd and third floor halls filled with pot smoke and multiple guest smoking managment did nothing about. Was told pool was adults only after 10 could never get to it due to kids in there after 12am....hot tub full of brown bubbles that over flowed onto walkway. 12am to 2am kids slamming doors and running up and down halls screaming. Man and woman beating each other up outside our window running and screaming. This all on our wedding night. Nothing from management. Night shift horrible managers stayed in employee lounge most of time. Morning staff was amazing but unable to do anything due to hotel manager/owner not returning her calls. Was made to check out 2 hrs early when we complained again our last day. Numerous calls to manager/owner finally 3 days later he called back said was sorry for the problems. I DID NOT ASK FOR A REFUND! I did ask for the first night refunded do to it being our wedding night and so many problems he said he would gladly refund the first night, but has still not done it and I don't actually expect it. Stay here as your last choice!
Bob Schulz: Very clean close to highway and plenty of services within one block gas, food, entertainment and spirits. I love this place nice pool and hot tub.Rooms: Clean and plenty amenities

Regina Powell: Horrible stains on bench when 1st walked in to room not sure if blood or ketchup trash all behind bed. Only two pillows on the bed, ring around the toilet, dirty tub, and dry wall everywhere, and remote missing the back.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More

Michelle Hankins (Shell): The website neglected to mention that the entire front lobby was under renovation so there was a roped off walkway, torn up flooring, the breakfast was 'limited' and there wasn't even a vending machine that was able to be plugged in and used. Definitely wasn't worth the money spent to stay!
Richard Darr: Good clean placeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Anthony Guzman: For location I know they have plenty of business but none is invested back into property. The photos speak for themselves. The workers are great excellent. Management needs to do there job and speak up to improve location.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More

The Review: First room we checked into hadn’t been wiped down or vacuumed. The 2nd room wasn’t any better. Holes in wall, food crumbs on floor. Chewed gum behind the tv. Could not take a shower because of the horrible condition the tub was in. We were better off at a cheap motel. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! No one should stay in these conditions. I’m surprised it’s allowed.
Kim Gower: Because the helpful staff. They are under remodel. But they still were very nice to me and I appreciate that very much. I was on a walker and they helped take my stuff to my room and even helped when I left taking stuff out for me. Very sweet and courteous. The room wasn't the best but they are under remodel . It was good for me. All the politeness and courtesy to me outlays the room.
Nicholas Sage: Zero stars. Absolutely worst hotel experience of my life and I've stayed at some shady spots. Mice feces on lamp base. Black mold in bathtub. Construction in lobby that was jackhammer like until 8:30 p.m. and hotel r fused to refund money or even give me a receipt if checkout. Not sure why this place is even used by third parties. DO JOT STAY HERE!!
Elijah Durnell: Horrible experience. Dirty, dusty, noisy because of ongoing construction. Key card didn’t work. Here didn’t heat properly. Was charged an extra $50 “deposit” that wasn’t mentioned anywhere else, then, when checking out, was made to stand and wait while someone went to the room to check it before they returned the deposit, then told me it would be 2-3 days before I got it back. No breakfast. Just generally unpleasant all around. Will not be going back.
Rob Edwards: Incredibly filthy room. Crumbs and hair everywhere. Hallway smelled of raw sewage. Stay away from property!
DOMINIC NAFFIE: Horrible night.Got there at 10pm, found out they are renovating so no breakfast on morning. Get in room to find no heat. Picked up phone, didn't work. Called hotel number, no one answered. Went to front desk, had to beg for blankets because none were in room or on bed.On checkout, asked for refund, clerk kept making excuses and finally after 40 minutes, put a manager on the phone. She complained it was her day off and I asked why didn't she empower her employees to handle things like this. She talked over me and said she would refund me and hung up before I could respond.Still haven't received refund.I would stay anywhere else than this place.
Jessica Ristuccia: I booked a weekend reservation here on Expedia. Paid for it in full. After a very long flight we arrived at the hotel only to find out they have no room for us. I explained that I have a paid for reservation and he just kept repeating “it’s a busy weekend we are booked”How is that possible to be fully booked when I had a reservation?! Ended up having to go to another hotel at 10pm and find some rooms at double the cost. And they had the audacity to charge me a no show fee!Still fighting with Expedia to get my money back.

Lisa Zielinski: This place was disgusting. It was not clean we were traveling for a competition. The windows did not lock on the first floor very well. Our kids felt unsafe. They didn’t want to sleep here we as adults didn’t want to sleep here. TV’s didn’t work in rooms, dirty floors, holes in walls, stains on floor. The breakfast was disgusting. A lady walked up to our group and said she has been living there for awhile and that the juice machine doesn’t work and then when it did you couldn’t drink what came out of it anyways. And she told us the food was non edible and be careful what you choose. The kids doors didn’t lock all the way and they used the benches to keep their doors closed. I would not suggest anyone stay here. Very disappointing for a Wyndham property.
Patrice Wilson: Very nasty and dirty
Kelli Milligan: Serve yourself breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. Ran out of food early. No one overseeing the room and many guest taking backpacks full of stuff, leaving nothing or little for anyone else. One person filled up his own gallon container of orange juice draining empty.Rooms: Beds were very comfortable but would have liked more blankets. Rooms needed updating, especially the bathroom. Toilets too short, no grab bars, etc.

歐洲茹-Wang: Very friendly staff and service. In the beginning, I didn't like the 1st room they arranged for me ,I talked to front desk and they immediately changed a new room which has 2 queen beds ,clean chairs and 3 romantic lights. It is great and I appreciate very much. Very strongly recommend here. One of the best things is: there are square town, many restaurants, especially Cracker Barrel Old County Store near by here. Cracker Barrel is my most favorite restaurants in USA😋this hotel location is perfect. (4.Nov,2022)

John Press: I was very disappointed in this Wyndham location. I wasn't expecting luxury accomodations but this place is in need of a major update. The tub was worn, the lamps and mirror were rusty. The tub didn't drain (water backed up to above your ankles when showering), the toilet ran constantly and the refrigerator made a constant ticking noise 24x7. I reported all this to the front desk and was told it would be fixed by 3pm or they would give us a different room. I left my cell phone number with the front desk so they could notify me if I needed to return from my planned activities for the day to move rooms. I received no call from them so I figured they fixed the tub, toilet & refrigerator. When we got back to the room, only the tub had been fixed. In addition, housekeeping had NOT refreshed the room, emptied the trash or provided clean towels. It was too late and I was too tired to deal with it. In addition, I had specifically asked for a first floor room close to the lobby. The room was first floor but was a very long walk from the lobby, only a few rooms were further away. The carpet in the hallway was warped and a tripping hazard. I also suspect that the staff were living in the hotel. I observed multiple people going in/out of rooms then into staff areas and they were dressed in casual, street clothes not anything professional or indicating they were staff or working. I doubt I would consider staying here again. Oh, and they also demanded a $100 room deposit. This was not communicated when making the reservation.
