Lake Haven Retreat: what do users think?
Joe Wilk: We store our RV there and the office is very pleasant to deal with.
bryan rooth: I took off a star cause we came in on a Saturday around 1 and there was nobody there. We waited at the gate not knowing that there was no one to open it. After a while, I put the truck in the park, walked to the office, and see there's a checkin box. Grabbed our info and started walking back to the truck and see 5 other people waiting to get in (people who live there). Never been to a park that doesn't have someone working on a Saturday or a sign saying chekin info is at office. Other than that the place was very nice. The spot we got was long and wide. The laundry room was big and everything was working. The bathrooms were nice and clean but it was funny they had a sign about not providing paper towels cause someone was putting them in the toilet. Overall nice place.
William Meeler: Management is great! Nice park and very quiet. Play ground for kids and a nice dog park. Only downside is no activities. If you’re looking to park your RV and not worried about a pool or clubhouse this is the place for you, close to major highways and food!
Sam Mcgowen: Stayed here for 2 months with no problems : I would have stayed longer however my job moved me however I would recommend this place to anyone.
Jeremy Sumpter: Nice rv resort
Tracy Brown: Very nice park.
Matthew Asbury: Not as nice as it appears online. It’s a lot of full-timers which makes it a bit of an eye sore if you are traveling and looking for a nicer place to stay. Site was not level. Just not as nice and friendly as we would have expected. It’s a no-frills campground. It’s in an industrial area so there can be noise from outside the property at all hours. (semis in our case) Not a lot of food/grocery options nearby. (10-15min drive) One bonus was the laundry facility is nice. App payment system is great vs using quarters.Overall, not terrible, but not great.
Peggy Martin: We store our 5th Wheel there.. always clean
Bryan Nagode: Standard RV park. All pull thrus, buddy spots, tight lanes. Construction not as bad as other comments mentioned. Verizon service good. Well staffed and nice people.
Anthony Clark: Our spot gave us a perfect view of the fountain. The laundry and shower facilities were excellent
Bill Bisaillon: Little pricey. But I had a short stay. I didn't get to see all the amenities. The service was friendly and accommodating
chris wurtzel: This place is clean and easy to manage our way through the property. Ownership is attentive to your concerns. My only beef is no firepit at the campsite.
Versile Johnson: Wonderfully maintained park, including a dog walk area, amazing laundry/shower area and a central playground. Construction around it sucked but not much they can do about that.
Glen Tanaka: The best RV Park in Indianapolis
Marci Gardner: Great campground. Friendly staff
Kimberly Gartland: October 2022. Lake Haven? Where was the lake? It was a retention pond…but a lovely retention pond I will give them that. I would have to say the advertising was a bit…well shall we say…exaggerated? Spaces are tight. Road were easy to manage. Staff was lovely. HOWEVER…be sure to ask if the MAJOR freeway construction project is still going on before you book a reservation. They literally work 24/7 and there are numerous and I do mean numerous trucks with incessant beeping going on all the time. On top of that the spaces are super close together and there are numerous full timers. We left early as this really wasn’t a pleasant experience.
David Haun: I did not stay. My camper is a 2008 model.I did not ask about short-term stays, but for long-term stays, they require a 10-year or newer RV. That rule/policy is not listed on their website.
Gary Koester: I was in 220 and it was very tight getting in and back out.The place is next to a truck parking lot and very loud. Trucks running all night. The full hook ups are nice but ,analog TV.It was ok for a overnight stay

Indianapolis KOA Holiday: what do users think?
Rosanne Beltz: All large rig gravel sites. Trees in abundance. Very few wifi hiccups. They have a nice pool area (with a lot of fun kid slides), and dog park. Staff super friendly and helpful.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ross Jessop: One of the best KOA's we have stayed at. Very clean great staff. Pizza is excellent. Will visit again.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Martin Schatz: What a nice place this is! Very roomy RV spots. I had a pull through with patio, gazebo, fireplace, grill and a swing for two. The check-in process was nice and the staff super friendly. A lot of green around and quiet. A great place to relax!
Eileen Jessop: Beautiful park! Good sized dog park. Sites are clean, level and are good sized.
Kathleen South: This is an upgraded, improved, beautiful KOA. We had inconsiderate neighbors so I suggest not getting the “ buddy” sites if you prefer privacy and quiet. The 2 horses and 2 goats were fun to visit. There is very, very little road noise so it one of the quieter places we have stayed. We will book here again.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nicole Ruiz: Make sure you go and check the place before you go. They offer grass and pool on the wet site and when we got there they gave us a place with mud everywhere. We asked them to change us 3 times and was the same. We asked them for refund and they didn’t do it. We even have to call the police to help and they didn’t do nothing either. My family and I will never come back to any KOA camping. They only promote pretty things that are no real.
Patricia Jenkins: We were on our way home to Michigan from spending the winter in Florida…I do have to say this Indianapolis KOA is far the best one we have stayed at, & we have stayed at a few as KOAs are the only campgrounds we stay in while traveling…. Very friendly staff, made us feel very welcomed. The sites are clean & plenty of space. The pizza & wings from their little deli were very good. It was sure nice setting up camp & shortly after having our dinner delivered right to our campsite. Very nice after a long day of traveling. The pool was still close for the season. We will definitely stay here again when driving through.
Jessica Aleman: My family loves this KOA! The splash pad is their favorite spot in the summer. Everything is so clean and well maintained. We also love to visit the horses and feed them apples while we are there!
Nick Garcia: Everything you expect from KOA's. Super friendly staff, nice facilities and multiple pad options. My girls loved seeing the horses and goats they have, as well as the playground with mineral panning.
Kelley Kunkel: This is a beautiful RV park! The cement pads are amazing with beautiful fireplaces and ‘swinging chairs’. They have pizza and wings available to purchase that was delicious as well! And the young lady that works there was the friendliest, most helpful person ever! I totally recommend stopping at this park!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Curt Williams: VERY nice facilities compared to some other KOA sites. Very clean. Our site had a stone fire pit swinging chairs and bistro lights. Really cozy and welcoming. The pool was closed for the season, and it was too cold for a swim, but it looks like a great pool for kids and families for the summer months.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Bruce Goguen: Food place to stay for family camping.Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Tammy Ward: Can't wait to come back🏞
Jonathan Pfeifer: Was very confused upon arrival as to where to pick up my documents, as the welcome text didn't come until the next day, after checkout. The site I was assigned had a defective electric box that would shoot out Sparks when a cord was plugged in and trip the GFCI. I attempted to contact management via phone and a text number provided, but received no answer. Moved myself to the next available tent site, though it clearly was not ready for gusta as the picnic tables and fire pits were pushed to odd areas. The next morning construction started right next to me at 8:30am. I've emailed the campground but to date have not once had a response to any communication. For the price of a KOA, that was real disappoint. If able, you'd be better to stay at a state park where you get the same amenities for half the price.Update: Several weeks later and still no contact by the campground. I was also never emailed a review link and was told be corporate that they were unable to activate it for me. I've contested the charge with my credit card. It doesn't seem like anyone works here.
C W: Good KOA. Bit of an awkward setup with the office at the end of a tight 180 turn that’s slightly odd to navigate in the dark with a long trailer but the spots were big and clean.
arkansas traveler: Very nice long sites
Bill Tracey: The wifi was far superior than that at places that bill themselves as being deluxe or glamping resorts.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Trevor Lee Anderson: Nice little getaway, friendly staff.....would definitely come back 🍂🐿️
Linda Dailey: Right off the bat it's a good experience. The young lady in the office who greeted us was so bubbly and enthusiastic; it instantly brings a smile to your face after a long day of traveling. We went to the store to get some scooped ice cream. The gal working the ice cream was just as friendly. The grounds are clean. We would stay here again.
Meredith Clason: ALERT! if you don't like bugs and dirty cabins do not go here! We reported it and got no compassion whatsoever. Lori was rude and zero help. What a waste of money.!!! Bathroom sinks not working and everything is nasty. Not a place that I would recommend again. We left , didn't even stay the night it was so bad.
