Marnie Selbo: Was a little annoyed about the cut counter being closed at 8:00 this evening but the lady who was working let me know it was because they were short staffed she helped me find everything else I needed after that and provided great customer although you need more staff.

Stacy D: Went in for some Susan Bates crochet hooks and a few odds & ends. My go to store for these. I first noticed that the Packaging on them has gotten much smaller (yay) & displays have changed (acrylic color coded divided like pencil cups) and so have prices. Just small stickers folded in half on the crochet hooks now, not easy to remove the adhesive FYI. Seems like prices wouldn't go up so much with the packaging so minimal but maybe it is the price of the display? They are roughly $4 each now, just sayin'. Several sizes were not available and I didn't see the silvalume handled ones at all.It was Monday evening and the store was mostly quiet. Friendly staff. A couple of yarn Items marked clearance rang up $3 more than regular price and not clearance. No real explanation but oh well.Overall good experience just because it wasn't crazy busy there so I got peaceful time to look and employees and customers alike were pleasant.
Janet Barron: Went to JoAnns looking for fur trim, some piping, and thread to make a tree skirt with some custom printed material I purhased online. Found everything I needed and even got some advice to check out another custom fabric printing place online!

S. Topi: Staff were very gregarious, friendly and helpful. Prices were fine for sale items. The selection of higher-quality (quilters) cotton just wasn't as good as I'd hoped. In the entire large wall of cotton fabrics, they didn't have the color I was looking for other than in a Kona solid (not even an odd color, either, just a normal lighter/ cheerier/ yellower green? Like lime green? It was all dark green for some reason). It's all cheap, rough-feeling fabric or it's covered in cartoon fruit or something.Staff was great, it's just that the selection wasn't great. Smaller quilt shops have better stuff.

Nikky Robinson-Parks (SylphGamer): My experience with this location was pleasant, everyone was very nice. My problem is with their policies. I purchased a sewing machine and decided to return it for something else. Unopened item, planning on purchasing something else from the store but I changed my mind after finding out that there’s a $25 restocking fee. No one told me about the restocking fees when I purchased the machine. Never again.

Kurt Schilling: Went to the store to pick a specific item. Since had never been there before, I asked where the item was and was led straight to it by one of the sales staff. Quick and easy successful errand. Great service
Bob Hunt: Yesterday made a trip to local location to pick up a few ready made open frames, in a very basic, 12 by 16” size.Sure enough, several available, but quickly became obvious all 4 of the frames on display had been significantly damaged, or used, then returned, and put back for sale as regular stock. 2 of the frames had been very poorly repaired, with visible cracks, dents and chips re-painted, but defects clearly visible, including rough, very poor paint job. The other two frames had multiple holes where they had been used, some mounting hardware still installed, with corner dents and chips not even fixed.Hobby Lobby has a clearance frame section, and I’m fine with buying things there, knowing what you see, is what you get. But putting damaged and worn returns back on the regular full-price display is very poor business.
