THEVERYLATECOW: I was really upset with the outcome of my hairstyle because it was nothing like how I wanted it to look. I hated the price even more because I was expected to pay OVER 200 dollars for highlights but instead payed ALMOST 500…FOR HIGHLIGHTS. Danas Making (a mess again): Services are going to cost more for better results. I try to always get the best deal but am willing to pay more for the exceptional results at this salon. If you have course, dry or damaged hair you have to go to someone who knows their craft. Angel knows what she is doing with my ethnic textured hair!

Don’t go here. i was with a friend and she got the same thinf as me (different stylist) and she paid around $30. why are they charging different amounts?? and she had longer hair than i do. James Price: Ms. Norma always does a great job on my hair, the others a bit hit or miss.
N H: I was very displeased with the hair cut. If my bangs were cut without being rushed it would have been worth the price. The haircut ruined the overall look. Norma cut my bangs straight instead of layered. She tried to play it off and even said I would look “sexy” for my husband. She knew it looked ridiculous. It does not matter if the hair color was nice or not, the hair cut completely ruined the look. I specifically told Norma I did not like how my hair looked and she shrugged unknowing what to do next. I do not care about the price I care about my hair and leaving extremely unhappy. You clearly do not know what great customer service is. My hair looks ridiculous and it was an erroneous mistake made by Norma. I was reluctant to pay only because my hair looked so disgustingly nasty and ugly not because I was unable to. This salon is very disgusting with horrendous customer service. I will never return to this salon. Your reply was childish and immature to think that it was not the fault of Norma.

Maya Shebeshi: I went twice before and they did a really good job. The wash job was rough the first time Then another person did it the next time I went and it was good. But the third time I went someone put relaxer in my hair without telling me. Because I washed my hair after a month and it was falling out by the roots and in random places. It felt like matted Barbie hair and there are no curls anymore. The whole shower smelled like burnt hair afterwards. Now my hair has breakage in random places and it sucks to comb through so I had to cut it and I’m currently regrowing it.

Cynthia Blanchard: I’ve been going there for years and using Shelby. During the many years I went there Shelby turned my hair orange. At least two times I had to go back (free of charge for color correction) to correct the color. I only get my hair trimmed every few visits. My hair grows very slowly so I was excited that it had reached a certain level. I hadn’t had a trim for some time and Shelby asked if we were going to do a cut this time. I said yes Every time she cut before she took off shavings. She took off over 3 1/2 inches. That will take me years to grow back. I had been trying to reach the young lady for an hour to get the address for the appointment unfortunately I got no answer then the phone kept going to voice-mail. My daughter needed her hair done for picture this week and I had no where else to go to so I came across Venus and the lady was so nice and patient because my daughter is very tender headed. We were done within an hour and her hair looks amazing. We'll definitely be back.

Transformations Salon and Spa was established in 1995, which originally got its start as Guys and Dolls in 1985. We officially became a full service salon and spa in 2008. Vivian Vandivier is the owner and mastermind behind all that we do.
All of our service providers have been through extensive training and continue to learn the latest products and techniques from national KMS and Goldwell experts. The beauty industry is always changing and we strive to stay current to provide the best possible service for our guests.
Our philosophy is simple. You are special at Transformations. From the moment you walk through our door, you will feel the love. Our support team and service providers genuinely listen and care about your needs. We will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, appreciated and beautiful. Our mission is for your mind, body, and spirit to feel renewed.
You can find us on the corner of Stop 11 and Madison Avenue on the south side of Indianapolis.
Lilly Hancock: Kylie gave me a great haircut and Adalynne does my nails all the time! Great designs.
Zoey Purkhiser: $38 for a kids cut that took less than 15 minutes is completely outrageous.
Jennifer Cochran: The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I had a great experience!
Tammy Fishel: $73 for a basic hair cut and style (no layers even) is way to expensive for this area. They say it’s because the stylist was “level 4” and my teenage daughters hair was long so they had to charge extra. Crazy. Won’t be going back.
Leslie Lux-Baute: Transformations is a wonderful, clean, organized, Christian led spa and salon. I've been coming here for a few years now but just decided to join their membership program. This program allows you to save money every time you spend money and it's only $75 a month. Totally worth it if you are a monthly visitor.Everyone knows a great business starts at the top with the owner! Vivian is the best and she only hires the best talent too.Everyone at Transformations is fabulous! Meredith Halcomb: This is my favorite spa on the south side. Everyone who works here is wonderful. I get massages frequently to combat tension headaches and all of their masseuses are wonderful. I have also gotten several facials, the hydra facial, and dermaplaning. Always can tell an immediate difference. Also started going to Delaney for hair coloring. I am attempting a really tricky grey blend and she is magnificent. Finally, they have amazing daily and seasonal specials that come right to your inbox! I use these all the time. I do think they need to improve soundproofing in treatment areas but it’s still my favorite place

Jacie Farris: This is the best place to go to relax, in my opinion. I love getting a massage, I love getting my hair done - all of it! Everyone is so talented. Plus, the atmosphere is so surreal. The outside is not that pretty, but you walk in to light, pretty smells and quiet music and everyone speaks so gently - it's immediately calming. I can't recommend it enough.

She enjoyed her time with the stylist and was so happy with how her hair turned out! A lovely space that is very welcoming and tranquil like! We will definitely be coming back in!

Geek With a beep: I loved going here so much. Since, the people there were so nice and had multiple things to get! For example, inside there shops that have shampoos and items!
