The whole process was calm and seamless; from consultation to post-op. At the surgery center I had nothing short of a phenomenal experience. I was met by the NICEST nurse ever. The anesthesiologist explained everything to me, and staff poured nothing but positive affirmations and kindness my way prior to going back. After surgery I was provided a comfortable stay in the hotel with the sweetest caregiver to assist me. Evelyn was beyond encouraging every step of the way (literally) LOL 😂. I’m a busy working mom and actually traveled from out of state for my abdominoplasty, and have ZERO regrets about this decision. I had such a fast recovery ❤️ that many were stunned by! I’m back to running again and my quality of life has sky rocketed. The only surgeon I would go to again and again for any procedure. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kami Hurst: Dr. Aker performed a breast lift on me earlier this year. He has wonderful bedside manner and is very comforting. The surgery center they use is top notch as well. Surgery was such a breeze, with minimal pain and I can barely see my scars after only 6 months.I was referred to Dr. Aker through a friend, and I am so glad I followed her guidance. The entire staff is kind and caring, I use Monica for Botox and facials as well, and she is wonderful!

He delivered my dream. The surgery center was also a very great experience. After, they set me up in a hotel suite with my personal caregiver (Evelyn). This set me up for a safe and fast recovery 💪. Larissa Mosier: I went in for a consultation for a tummy tuck. The doctor explained the procedure & recovery in full depth, very thorough, the longest part of the consult, going on and on about how great his work is and how amazing his patients look. I had mentioned an area I’m worried about being an issue and he says, no worries, we will check it out when I get in a gown. As soon as he opens my gown, he looks directly at my sides that I expressed concern about and said, yep, we will have to do a fully extended blah blah blah, random technical jargon that I didn’t understand and I’m no longer a candidate for just a tummy tuck. He was off the stool, tells me to get dressed and half way to the door before I could even process the 1, 2 gut punch I felt like I had just endured. It was really fast and maybe took 5 minutes. I thought maybe he just didn’t want to discuss things with me in my underwear. I was expecting him to come back in the room and go over the completely different procedure he said I had to do, but instead it was a front desk woman who handed me a folder. She’s telling me “payment is due in full….blah blah blah, when would you like to schedule?!” And I’m thinking, WHAT AM I EVEN SCHEDULING?! I open the folder, the price is more than double what I was originally quoted. I left in tears and with mom guilt, couldn’t justify the price tag. I recently had a consultation with a different Dr and was shocked at how much better & completely different it went. This only solidified my gut reaction was well received — I’m so glad I did not go through with surgery here!

Mister Review: I meant to write this sooner. 15 months ago they performed a gynecomastia surgery on me. Im very happy with the results. They did not have me in a compression vest post surgery and I worried about that but everything turned out just fine. I would feel very comfortable recommending others interested in this procedure. They were kind, compassionate and professional.

Daniel James: We had a great experience with our consultation, but afterwards it all went downhill. My wife had scheduled for surgery on a Friday in December. We paid the required deposit and collected the required information. After we left we began making schedule arrangements for work and everything else to accomdate her recovery time. Two weeks after she scheduled, she received a phone call informing her that they had changed surgery centers and no longer offered surgeries on Fridays. My wife informed them that she is unable to do any other days due to her work, schedule, and child arrangements and that we had also already made arrangements for the original day scheduled. Mind you we had also already paid a cash deposit. She was informed that there is nothing they could do even after we paid our deposit, secured the date, and made all the necessary schedule arrangements on our end. We asked for our deposit back in which they happily sent back. However, this type of business practice is infuriating. To expect someone to just up and change everything two weeks after an agreement was made including taking more time off from work which is difficult in her situation. They should have honored the current arrangements and made the scheduling changes for any future clients forthwith. We have called several other surgeons in the area, whom all offer Friday afternoon surgeries. We will be going with them and referring any others to those as well. Severely disappointed in this business as we were referred to this place by others.
Tami West: I have been going to this place for a few years now. I’ve always had a pretty good expierence but today, not so much.I came in and explained I was going to try to spend as little as possible due to a recent move and family addition. We discussed and decided to use an alternative to Botox to save money. When I go up to pay for said services, The aesthetician suddenly realizes she did not inform me that I cannot use my points for the product that I used. Then a very condescending, straight faced, rude person showed up to the counter telling me that I would’ve paid more for the other product, that I still paid Less. Not, oh we are so sorry about that, not - this is our fault, we will let you use your points. Just RUDE and quite frankly, shaming me for being annoyed that I didn’t know that!! I did more because it was less per unit and I had points. Who is she to downplay their mistake. Poor customer service in my opinion and they just lost a customer over $20. Not to mention, I already have a huge bruise so this is going to be cute! I won’t be back!
Taylor Bell: Nate is by far the best injector I’ve had! He took his time explaining each product and how he would be placing them. He made me feel extremely comfortable and also shared his technique methods along with reasoning behind his skill set. I left the office so happy and thrilled with my outcome and appearance!
Holly Ware: I’ve come here twice for facial injections in my smile lines. I’ve actually had to get some things corrected that another facility didn’t take their time on. Both Susan and Nate have done great jobs taking their time to perfect things on my face.We are our own harshest critic for little wrinkles and lines on our face that we notice that not necessarily everyone else does. The people here get that and look at your face in different lightings to make sure they are correcting exactly what you came there for them to correct.The numbing cream they use is made in house and works wonderfully. I didn’t feel a thing the whole time. No roughness, very gentle, professional, friendly, and perfectionists. So worth the money and drive. Just because a place is cheaper doesn’t mean it’s better or even at the safe skill level. Normally my old go-to facility would take 10-15 mins on me tops and here I spent about an hour which speaks to how meticulously they take their time and get things right the first time.Anyways… go here if you want it done right. :)

Alix Tangi: On April 28th, 2019, I was bit in the face by my dog and the entire half of my upper lip was removed. The following day I got as many opinions as I could from several different plastic surgeons. I was feeling completely helpless and scared until I finally met with Dr. Chernoff. From the moment I met him he made me feel like he could help me and that eventually, I was going to look like myself again. This overwhelming sense of relief is only one of the reasons you should choose Dr. Chernoff. Coupled with his amazing talent, he is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met. Amanda Coons: I’ve had a few procedures done by Dr. Chernoff now but yesterday was something special. He was running late and came in the room and said “Today’s procedure is on us. I’m sorry for your wait.” The funny thing is...that’s not why I’m writing this review. While I appreciated that so much, what I’m blown away by is the fact that as I checked out, I could hear Dr. Chernoff down the hallway thanking the janitor for cleaning and for all he does. You don’t find doctors that stop and thank their janitors. Dr. Chernoff is so kind and top notch in what he does!
Carrie Campbell: Good non-surgical options and skilled. Don’t expect them to respect your appointment time. Expect an hour wait after your scheduled appointment time and then the time it takes for your appointment. This part is a 1-star but for their skill.

I am a non-traditional patient, and they all went well out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and well cared-for. Gretchen Waggoner: The BEST! I recently went in for a capsulectomy, and lift...Dr. Turkle basically held my hand the whole way. Her staff were very quick to respond scheduling all my consultation appointments, making sure my healthcare was up-to-date, getting in all the correct paperwork, and setting up mytouchMD where she has you read over and/or watch videos of your upcoming procedures. NO STONE LEFT UNTURNED! Dr. Turkle is very thorough, very patient and kind. I had a list of things I wanted to do but because of certain health reasons she and I both decided to take it slow. Dr. Turkle has your best interests in mind!

Jen Reeves: I have been going to Dr. Turkle for over 19 years now. I have gone to her for many many different issues. I will say that of the many doctors (of all kinds) I have seen in my life, she is simply just a cut above. Her skill level is of course incredible, but the other aspects of her, and her practice also set the bar incredibly high. Her work speaks for itself and is always seamless and natural. However, her easy manor, the way that she explains things, her honesty, and her absolute attention to detail is what truly sets her apart. I have never been less than thrilled with any result, nor have any of my many friends I have sent to her practice.
alison plahitko: Second time I have had Botox there with uneven results. This time when I called to be seen ASAP to fix the terrible outcome of Botox, I was met with rudeness on the phone and told that I could "possibly be seen in a week". When I explained that it needed to be ASAP, I was only offered the same person who messed it up. Even that appointment was 4 days away. Never again. The injectors there use too much, and are not properly trained to perform the procedure with good results.

Deanna Riley: I had abdominoplasty and liposuction by Dr. Turkle in 2011, and I still suffer the pain and the scars. It was a botch job. I wish I could tell the whole story here, but I can't. Please do not use this surgeon.

Chassity Sexton: Absolutely do not recommend. Surgery and pre op went fine but as others stated it's the post op handling where this office fails. My incisions were not doing well, assuming I had an infection I continued to call which is when I was told the odor at my incisions were "normal." The very next day I again spoke to a different nurse where I was told that she has never heard of an odor from incisions and I then requested an antibiotic for possible infection to be on the safe side, I was then told I needed to see my primary care and refused to help. So after a full day of calling around I found a primary care doctor to take over the care of my healing process instead and prescribed me the antibiotics I needed to heal. The after care of a surgery should be taken care of by the surgeons office and that includes an infection and all concerns. I never felt like I was heard and more just pushed off onto a doctor who had no connection to my surgery.Updated to say I indeed did have an infection at my surgical sites

Ashley Schaeffer: I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair in April 2021. Dr Turkle is so professional and just does her art with such ease. She and her staff explained things thoroughly to me before, during, and after the surgery. They helped me heal as easily as possible and shared a vitamin regimen with me that I believe helped with my bodys healing process as well. I'll never use anyone but Ayanna now!Sonny remembered me after my first treatment and greets me by name every time. She's got an amazing ability to multi-task while still being very attentive to the customer.I don't ever want to leave Phases, so please do whatever you need in order to retain these two ladies. Help like that is almost impossible to find these days!
GahSip AndShyt: Back in March of this year 2021 I had a procedure done here. I done research online about this particular procedure and found this center to decided to have my procedure done here. I drove 3. hours there and back. However I'm still NOT satisfied with the outcome. Honestly it looks like I paid to have a scar left on my face. Because I see no other difference.The procedure was a "Lip Lift". didn't "LIFT" my lip at all and in all honesty the space is still the same according to my fingers.They seemed "caring enough" and willing to help, but I don't see how they could've helped or did what were supposed to be done because I wasn't willing to be cut again. I just wasn't going to do that one.The doctor that did the procedure doesn't work there anymore as far as I know.The 2 stars is for the "acts of kindness" procedure gets 0 stars... b/c here now I have to see this scar on my face that wasn't there before which ... well you insert the rest... it's just not a good thing...

L Kords: Bait and switch on promo fillers. Office manager is rude and refuses to listen. Filler was very is over filled on one side. Dr Turkle seems rushed and when pointed out filler issue at time of injection she denied it saying she doesn't see it. Months later had redone elsewhere because you could "see it". Over 2k in filler wasted. Do not recommend!!
Sara Sellers: When I called desperate as it was the 5th place I have called around here, the receptionist was not at all helpful and immediately told me my medical condition wouldn't be covered under insurance so unless I was willing to pay $1000 I shouldn't schedule an appointment. Great, thanks as if I wasn't prepared to pay. I went elsewhere.UPDATE-- My condition was covered under insurance and the receptionist steered me away for no reason.

Ambra Mikuzis: I called to make a consultation appointment. I had been a patient 20 years ago. The lady who answered the phone was nice, but, once I told her how much I weighed she told me that Dr. Van Nattas policy is that he only operates if your weight is 165 or under. She told me to lose the weight and then call them back. I told her absolutely not. What a scumbag.

I'm assuming you're reading these reviews because you're still in the consultation phase, I would encourage you before you go too much further to go to Dr. Van Natta's website and start watching the video clips. You can get a feel for how much of an expert in his field he really is and that was solidified for me in my consultation. I really feel like hes equally passionate about the science and artistry behind his craft and I'm very glad I put my trust in him. His entire staff from my nurses to anesthesiologist really made me feel comfortable, it's a vulnerable and scary process at times and they were great.

Keirstin Devore: Dr. Van Natta is absolutely the best! I went from a 32AA to a 34B/32C back in 2015 and I was able to move out of my apartment into a house the very next day. I didn't take any meds, not even the Motrin his office provides. I performed the hourly stretches as he recommended and I was back at work in 2 days fully recovered, other than sore to touch/grab for the first month. Super nice office and staff!
Todd Mckechnie: After having my triplets I had a bad case of diastis recti and was in alot of pain. In desperate need of muscle repair I researched lots of drs prior. Dr van natta was super sweet his staff was very nice as well. Even after my surgery I was able to call him over the wknd for extra help and he even called the day to see how I was doing. He is very caring of his patients, only does what is best for you and your health. I couldnt have asked for a better dr with my complicated surgery. He is the absolute best. Love him and appriciate all he's done for me to get my body back.
K N: Dr Van Natta is an amazing surgeon! He performed my initial breast augmentation in November of 2005 and then replaced them with gel in 2017! His receipe for recovery had me up and moving that evening! I went to dinner and then did an escape room with friends and didn't need any narcotics for pain! I wouldn't ever trust anyone else with my body. He has a amazing bedside manner and his staff share his energy and strong work ethic! I have always been impressed with every visit and phone call from his office. He is considerate of your time and is highly professional!
Amy Heleine: I thought that my 32Bs were perfect until I turned 43 years old and saw a picture of myself in a bikini. I am fit and love working out, but my chest, the one thing I could not really change with exercise, looked very unbalanced relative to the rest of my body. I never thought I would have a breast augmentation, but that picture changed my position.I did a lot of research before making the final decision to proceed with the surgery and before selecting Dr. Van Natta as the surgeon. Even though I expected a positive outcome based on extremely positive recommendations for Dr. Van Natta, my expectations were still exceeded… I was home from surgery at 6:15 pm on a Friday and was at the gym by 7:00 am the next morning. The only pain medication I took was the prescribed ibuprofen. I felt minor soreness, like you might feel from a chest and ab workout, but no pain. The surgery really did not alter my normal routine at all- I was working and exercising the next morning, and have not experienced any complication or setbacks.Dr. Van Natta and his entire staff make this a really great experience. Everyone is extremely caring, helpful and considerate. It was an excellent experience.It has now been two weeks since the surgery and I really could not be more pleased with the results. The breasts appear natural and fit my body. I am not sure you could have a better experience. Dr. Van Natta and his team are the best and I sincerely appreciate the care they provided me. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Van Natta to any of my friends or family members that might be interested in a breast augmentation.

DM: I made an appointment with Dr. Short for a consultation for breast implants. The front office was fairly friendly and ushered me back to a waiting room. An hour after my appointment time, I exited the room to inquire about being seen. I was assured that I was “next, the doctor is on her way in”. I had driven over an hour to be seen and wanted to speak with the doctor; however, I was annoyed at the wait time. At the 1 hour 45 minute mark, I exited the room ready to leave for home. Dr. Short and a nurse were headed down the hallway towards me and said “Oh, hi. We were just coming in to see you”. I told her I was leaving, because I was tired of waiting. No apologies for the excessive wait, nothing. There are other excellent surgeons in Indy. Obviously, she doesn’t value her patients or their time.
Vanessa: I had inverted nipple revision back in January. This is something I’ve been insecure about literally my entire life and Dr.Short gave me so much confidence back! Her work was nothing short of amazing. They just look so great! And honestly, no one would be able to tell that I had this procedure at first glance. Special shout-out to Jackie and other staff ❤️ They were always willing to help with any questions or anxieties I had.

From start to finish it was a great experience, They eased my anxiety pre op and within no time i was waking up from my surgery. Lauren Anne “Meme”: I was going to Dr Short for approximately 15 years… when I started going they were friendly … As the years have passed staff seems to have become less friendly and only offer help IF your asking. That’s also minimal! They now act as if your small Botox purchase is simply inconveniencing them… instead of offering new solutions for aging. I have switched botox Drs and found that I have quite a few new options!

Brand-I: I scheduled an earlobe repair. I was so excited to get the procedure done, I completed all my pre-op including paying all monies due prior to the procedure. I get to my appointment 30minutes in advance. I was asked to stay in my car while checking in, which was fine. After checking in and a 35minute wait in my vehicle, a staff member called me back explaining that my appointment needs rescheduling. She stated someone should have called me prior. I began trying to understand what was going on and why they took my money, just to cancel my appointment. The staff member proceeded to chastise me , telling me I was directing my questions to the wrong person, did I want to reschedule or what and hung up on me. I was livid to say the least. I will not patronize a business that behaves this way. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to a DOG!
Amy Thompson: I am less than a week out from surgery, but have been in contact with the GI for about 4 months now. They have been nothing but amazing, accommodating, experienced, and kind. Dr Short did a great job and I am pleased with my results. I have some more to go, so I’m excited to come back and have some more work done.
Crystal Medley: Terrible experience. I was scheduled for a mommy makeover. I was very excited and was in the process of taking care of the surgical requirements. This included a few things to be provided like providing a mammogram, vaccination info, caretaker info, picking up some prescriptions, and lab work. Jackie, the surgical coordinator asked me which lab I wanted to use to have my hemoglobin test and I provided her with the name. She asked me what their fax number was, so I went on their website but couldn't find one listed. I tried calling the lab 2 days in a row, but wasn't able to reach anyone because I am at work during their hours of operation. I asked is she could call and get the number and she refused and told me I had to be the one to get it. WHY??? That didn't make any sense to me. I told her my issue with work and she wouldn't budge. Several emails back and forth and a couple phone calls later, I decided to cancel my surgery. If they can't be bothered to get a fax number, then patient care must not be a high priority for them. Then Dr. Short emailed me after I cancelled to say she was sorry and how Jackie had recent stress. Then proceeded to say in a condescending way that she was concerned with how I would be able to manage my recovery with the demands of my work. I had taken care of EVERYTHING they asked of me with the exception of 1 little detail that they couldn't be bothered to help me with. I lost a $500 deposit, but I will not give them 1 penny more. So unprofessional.
Lindsey Fellin: Had breast implant surgery in December. Had a great experience all around. Should have posted my review earlier but time slips away.Even during Covid, I was very pleased with the entire experience. Surgery went well and very happy with my personal results! Something I’ve always wanted and so glad with how it turned out! Would absolutely recommend!Jackie was great working with and prompt to respond to emails. Dr. Short was amazing and to the point.Ps- added photos right at 6 weeks out. I know it’s my “selfies” but I assume it would be nice to actually get an idea of the work haha!
Shawn Royer (Shawn Goodman Jazz): I had a breast reduction surgery with Dr. Kimberly Short back in 1999 (22 years ago!) before she was at the Gillian Institute, and I want to share with everyone how happy I still am to this day with the work she did. Five years after the surgery, I got pregnant, and was able to breast feed, which was super important to me. I also have feeling in both of my nipples and they’re still shaped beautifully. I think this really says something about this doctor’s level of skill and attention to detail. She may never know how she changed my life that day, but I hope she reads this and knows she is making a difference! ❤️ I know how important reviews are when choosing a doctor, and so I hope someone finds this review from 20+ years later helpful!!

Katy Reed: I purchased a Groupon that I used here 2 years ago which I redeemed for service. Unfortunately, the service was not great and I had to go back for a touch up to fix it. 2 years later, I went to schedule an appointment and was told I had to pay $150 ($50 for a missed appointment and $100 deposit towards the service I wanted to schedule) because I missed an appointment two years ago. I have no knowledge of the “previously missed appointment” which I explained and asked if they could waive the charge. I was flat out told no. Being that I was giving the place a second chance to begin with and the less than helpful customer service, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. As a business owner, it seems counterintuitive to lose a much larger sale over $50.
Megan Saur: I had an amazing surgery experience with Dr. Short and her staff! The pre-op by Jamie was extremely helpful and really set me up for fast healing. I've been getting facials there for years so when I had the need for a forehead biopsy (basically a brow lift), I turned to them. Quick, easy, and as painless as can be! My after care and follow-up were top notch and I'm ready to get back into my every day activities TWO WEEKS after surgery!

Apparently, she would have some way of getting me the prescriptions for not so much money. Fortunately, my insurance is really good and the prescriptions were only $5 each.

S T: I just recently used Dr. Wagner for a Breast Lift and Breast Implant replacement. Everything looks great and is healing well. I also used Dr. Wagoner 10 yrs. ago for a Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation. I couldn't be happier with the results from both surgeries. Dr. Wagner and his staff are great to work with. Very friendly, professional office. Kara Couch, Dr. Wagner's assistant is very prompt on answering e-mails and the scheduling of your surgery. She was very helpful through the whole process. Great place and highly recommended for any plastic surgery work as Dr. Wagner takes the time to explain everything and make you comfortable prior to surgery. Great place.

SMW: Zero stars. We went here years ago, the experience was awful from the start. Very rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate, staff and doctor. They do not stand by their performance. Botched my wife's surgery, and would do nothing to make it right. She has lived for years now, with pain and deformity, and no chance of this place making it right. Dr Wagner would be solely to blame. Doesn't stand by his work. Will mess you up, and then on to the next person with money. That is what it's all about right???? Money, not quality work. Dr Wagner has ruined her life. Please do yourself a favor and never come here. Try somewhere other than Indianapolis all together. Awful people with no soul. No stars.

McKenna Reid: I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Being only 19, this was my first major surgery and was really intimidating, but Dr. Wagner and his staff made it such a nice experience. All steps of the surgery and after care process were explained to me thoroughly so I could be prepared for everything. Due to other health issues I fainted in their office at one of my post-op check ups. Not only did his staff stay with me until I could get checked out in the hospital, they even called me the next day to make sure everything was okay and I didn’t get hurt. This is an amazing place and I definitely would suggest it to anyone who needs any sort of plastic surgery in the future!

Well... a year later I am still disappointed and the concern I had is still there, no weight gain , nothing that would make what should have been gone after paying 9g out of pocket to still be there. Of course they offer a “revision” but that again will cost for what they did not do the first round ( it was all talked about and agreed when paper was signed even had marks on my body before surgery for this area)NOT HAPPY!

From consultation to post op, I felt 110% at ease, my questions were answered promptly, and I never felt like just a number.Real talk- I emailed so much after surgery. I forgot to ask a few things (bra questions, sleep questions, etc).. and my emails were answered immediately. leslie zito: I went to Dr. Wagner for a revision of a previous revision that was extremely messed up by another surgeon. My prior revision was a complete nightmare causing me a lot of pain plus lowering my self esteem beyond belief. I had a couple of consults with other plastic surgeons as well as one with Dr. Wagner because I wanted to make sure I picked the best one so I wouldn't have to go through what the previous surgeon put me through. I knew right away Dr. Wagner was the one. He took the time to examine my issues and thoroughly explained what he could do to help me. He didn't make any false promises or try to "sell" me anything. He made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions and concerns. Everyone at Wagner and Associates was really nice and helpful, especially Kara who is simply amazing. It's been a little over 2 months since my surgery with Dr. Wagner and I couldn't be happier with the results. I can't get over how good my breasts look now. They're pretty much perfect and look nothing like my prior revision. I would recommend Wagner and Associates to everyone who's interested in breast augmentation or who's looking to get a revision. In the future, I plan to go back for other types of cosmetic procedures because they are the absolute best in my opinion.

Dr. Wagner removed 12 pounds of excess skin. I went from a size 8 to a 4/6 and i'm down 158 pounds total. Dr. Wagner and his team are the best. They've been very supportive throughout the process. He always takes his time and explains everything in detail. I've already scheduled my next surgery to lift my arms, legs, and possibly get breast implants. I can't wait to see the results from the next surgery. I truly trust that I'll get the best possible results with Dr. Wagner as my surgeon.
