Vida: what do users think?
Toby Davis: This is touted as one of the best if not the best restaurant in Indy. Reservations backed up for months would seem to align with this statement. We love Cunningham Group and have never been disappointed. Provision has been our #1 Indy spot for a few years now, and only other Cunningham restaurants have come even close... until now. You know you're dining at a great establishment when every detail is meticulously thought out. We did the 4 course meal, and we each chose different items. And from the cauliflower to the scallop to the sablefish to the side breads, everything was better than anything you've had anywhere else. I typically gag at the smell of brusselsprouts, yet I ate and enjoyed the sprouts served with the ribeye. The scallop and sablefish were like butter, cooked to perfection, and I don't even know how they cooked the ribeye so perfectly. To top it off, Thomas was fantastic in tips and knowledge and also conversation. We need to visit Provision again soon just to compare, but we will be back to Vida many times.Vegetarian options: Just speak to your server.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't recommend except for teaching kids about fine dining.Dietary restrictions: They carefully account for any restrictions.
Allison Potteiger: Worth the price.
Nicholas Smith: Very nice meal, can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Scallop, Ricotta Doughnuts, Amuse Bouche …More
joseph carmer: Truly delicious. Wondeful tasting menu. From the front door through our entire experience, service was top notch. The manager offered us a toast for the birthday we celebrated. Everyone spoke to us by name. The server Tim made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. Excellent experience, worth every bitFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Doughnuts, Ricotta Doughnuts …More
Ashlee Nemeth: Was here for an industry wine tasting. Have had dinner here before. Very good food and ambianceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Pia Nathani: I had the tasting menu and I can say I was quite disappointed. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.Edited to add : The manager/owner was extremely receptive to my feedback. However, my experience at the restaurant remained unchanged.
Parker Sasse: Had an incredible dinner there, and Morena was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu! Thank you guys for a great experience, cheers 🍻Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maggie Zehren: This was our second time at Vida. The first was a year ago and was fantastic. This time we were not quite as impressed. Service and our server were lovely, no problems there. Food was good though not quite as flavorful as last time. Instead of being served an amuse bouche like we had received last year and the tables around us received this time, we were served a sorbet in between our 2nd and 3rd courses, which was fine but the dessert I ordered also contained the same sorbet. Additionally, we never received any bread for the table, which we had really enjoyed the last time we were there. Maybe we needed to ask for it this time?
Jordan McMeow: Friendly staff, wonderful food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Beef Tartare, Ricotta Doughnuts …More
Iryna P: It was an unforgettable experience! Delicious food, the duck was to die for!!! Professional and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely come back again.Thank you to the Chef and staff.
Nicholas Musselwhite: Love their vibrant cocktail selections! The food is some of the best in Indy. This is more reserved for special occasions in my book. Love that it is part of the Cunningham group. If you can sit outside can have some noise with traffic, but really enjoyed the outside experience.
Jason Mazza: Vida, is definitely one of the very few upscale restaurants in Indianapolis. Everytime I go I am reminded how good it is. Must visit restaurant!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Ricotta Doughnuts …More
Rolonda Wallace: Loved my dining experience at Vida. The food and wine was amazing. The vibes were immaculate. Morena was an amazing waitress as well. She took really good care of my friends and I.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Garlic Bread, Gnocchi, Amuse Bouche …More
sheena vanhook: TOP FAVORITE restaurant in Indy for a date night or celebrating any occasion. My all time favorite dish is the FOIE GRAS. The RICOTTA DOUGHNUTS are also a top favorite. We always plan a full night dedicated to enjoying each dish with a wine pairing. The experience is worth the time and money. The quality you are receiving is worth the higher end price. Plan an evening and enjoy.Highly recommend
Jen Brown: I took my niece here as a treat during the Devour Indy festival. The restaurant and service was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. I took the waiters recommendation for the scallops and they were the best I've ever tasted. They even had several nonalcoholic cocktails on the menu which I always appreciate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'll be back!Parking: They have a very easy to use $10 valet parking. The entrance is on North Park Street. The valet was a very polite gentleman. 😊
Muhammad Khalifa: I think of this place as the Cunningham Restaurant Group's crown jewel (whether they intended it that way or not) and it remains one of the better eating destinations in Indy (and one of the only tasting-menu-focused ones). Well executed modern New American with a regularly evolving menu. While it's otherwise impossible to pick favorites, the hot ricotta doughnuts have a permanent home on the menu for good reason - do not miss them under any circumstances.
jean-sebastien delfosse: The place is super cozy. You immediately feel you are going to have a good time when you walk through the door. Food is very refined with dishes you don't get everyday (fois Gras, duck,etc...) and you get great advice when choosing the wine that would match best with your food.Congratulations to the teamWe will be back!

Brett Downham: Service and atmosphere was great. The food was good, but in my opinion, not worth the price. At some point, a steak is a steak.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Cindy Downham: Hate the batter on the onion rings but otherwise wonderful and Naomi our server was perfectFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rodney Barta: One of the best meals you can get in Indy.Recommended dishes Woodford Reserve Bread Pudding, French Onion Soup, Shrimp Cocktail …More
Philip Huynh: Dietary restrictions: Was very accommodating to my daughter who has an egg allergy and made sure there were no cross contamination between foods.
Casey Yager: Our waiter LJ was absolutely awesome!!! He was so kind and made our night so fun and enjoyable!! The food was to die for!! We love this place and it will definitely remain in our top 5 favorites ever!!
Jessica lamb: Service was good -Andrew was my waiter and he was kind, patient, and prompt. He answered my questions (i had an few)and was very friendly and respectful. I noticed the overall working staff working and overall being respectful.Food- it was good but not like (omg) I usually order a steak but the price here is more than some of the similar establishments nearby known for steaks and honestly i didn’t see anyone with any. I ordered some grilled chicken which was very very very good but not amazing (EM nearby is better) the pasta with Lemon garlic sauce the waiter recommended was very good and light tasting just as he stated. So for that I would say it was refreshing and good. The sides here were all CERY VERY VERY GOOD!!!!Environment-The main thing I didn’t like it that I was seated on the balcony literally stuck between way to close tables and a rail which I am scared of heights so I was like oh my this is a lot to take it. The noise level is a little too high but it was just. If you go I’d request a booth downstairs it seems more open and comfortable than these pushed together tables but that doesn’t bother other people as it does me. Anyway overall a solid 4 stars. They also gave my daughter a free desert for her birthday and that actually read the notes and knew it as her birthday so for I was appreciative. I would probably return and ask for a booth. The hamburger was $17 with a side so I think that price is a steal for a quality hamburgerOh and GET THE MAC AND CHEESE!
JaQuon Mitchell: Really nice cool looking inside. The food was great. The service was amazing! Definitely recommend.
Kelia: Best steak I've ever tasted. Go for the lunch special, 10oz ribeye medium rare. The seasoning on it is perfection. The lunch special will cost $30-$40. We went for a birthday and had a reservation ahead of time. They brought a little dessert with a lit candle and even had a happy birthday card!On another note, the fried green tomatoes were quite tasty. They paired it with a remoulade sauce.Parking: Parking lot is shared on the plaza so it can get packed on the weekend.
Suzy Hardwick: No complaints! Great food! Worth it! Filet cook perfectly. Good wines & cocktails. Cry over the famous St Elmo shrimp cocktail, by all means!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes St Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, Filet …More
alfredo ferzzola: Best beef in the Indianapolis areaFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michael Benjamin Young: Our server was fantastic, the ambiance adequate, and the food was quite good. Went with an old fashioned, the shrimp cocktail, and the prime meatloaf. The mashed needed more seasoning and the bourbon pour was quite small for $16. Otherwise no complaints.
Elaine Arias: I have been to this restaurant at least 15 times with my fiancé and the food is amazing but the management is absolutely horrendous and unprofessional. If you go in there and there’s a manager name, Sarah, then I would walk out immediately because she is very discriminative. I highly recommend that if you go in there that you make sure that she is not working. There’s already a lawsuit on her. She is extremely judge mental for no reason. Especially when you’re spending between two and $400 for a lunch.
Adam Smith-McCombs: We had an amazing evening with great food and a nice atmosphere. All of the food we ordered was delicious. The scallops meted in your mouth and a delicious succotash. The Woodford bread pudding was amazing with it's salted caramel core topped with a heaping pile of whipped cream and finished with a drizzle of Woodford reserve. Looking forward to going back and will ask for Brice to be our server again! The team was attentive and helpful all throughout the evening.
Robby Oden: One of the best medium+ prime ribeye steaks I've eaten. 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Brownie with Ice Cream, St Elmo Shrimp Cocktail …More
Craig Mayes: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Shrimp Cocktail, Calamari, Toasted RavioliMore
