Rob Smith: A hard stick. Usually a ultrasound machine to locate vein. However, the phlebotomist was able to find a vein with no problem. Hardly felt the stick.

frank s: I recently dropped off a specimen for analysis. I ensured the container was tightly sealed, kept it upright, etc. and it was only a 10 minute drive. After dropping it off, a week later I get my test results back as "leaked in transit, could not perform test." Why did this take a week to notify me? The description is also impossible, as we would immediately have noticed if this happened. I will not be back.

mmcneil67: I had a 2:30 appointment for a blood draw. I checked in from my phone in my car and waited to be prompted to come in. They needed paperwork from my primary care doctor as well as my insurance card. My bill was $97. The lab tech was professional and courteous. I was in there maybe 10 minutes.

Once you are finally serviced for a specimen collection, then here come a rude collector. Specifically, Adrienne Glass. She rushed the process and was very arrogant. The 2 stars is for the least of actually collecting the sample. Terrible experience.

Matt Frekwentflier: I don't understand the negative reviews. This is a lab, not a doctor's office. They exist to collect lab samples and that is it. No treatment, no advice, no suggestions, etc. Everybody I interacted with was very nice and professional. You can make appointments on the website, so don't complain if you walk in and everybody else there was smart enough to make an appointment, but you weren't.

The handwashing station is just as dirty. I have seen cleaner porta potties.This location and the one on 86th street were terrible. Tried to be super polite because I needed to get my labs done, but the employees seemed like they were purposefully trying to cause roadblocks.

ANTI- FEDS: The lady working the front is extremely rude. She doesn’t wear her mask correctly, she seemed livid that customers showed up around 4 when they close at 4:30. The lady was trying to argue and something outside of work is definitely bothering her!! I would never trust the lady to take my blood. She does not deserve to work in healthcare. The lady locked the doors at 4:18pm when the close at 4:30. She refused to give me her name so I could report the incident to management. The place is disgusting and I would not recommend dealing with the extremely unprofessional people who work here. I wouldn’t rely on that lady to do anything besides close up shop & gtfo as soon as 4 o’clock hits. Labcorp, if you care at all about your clients, please fire this lady.
Sumanth Soma: Worst experience ever went to give test and kept waiting for 1hr 30 min and they told me machines aren’t working, if the machines aren’t working they should be working faster to keep the process going very bad the person on the front desk.

There is black "dust" everywhere - vents, ceiling tiles, on top.of doorways and frames.The lab area is just as bad and there are no health guidelines followed. The tech took my urine sample (which had some on the outside of the little cup). She then put paper in the printer, touched my paperwork, used the keyboard, and handed me a pen to use- all after having just touched my sample!After I was finished, there is no way they cleaned the restroom or door knob from the restroom (no sink in the toilet area) because I was not out the door before the same tech called someone else back.As someone that has worked in medical offices, this place needs to be shut down!

I called to find out my lab test results, and the automatic answering machine asks you to go to the website, then you have to register, have a new login/password, then check your email to verify registration, and then, still you needed to authenticate ... Why all these hassles rather than emailing (or texting) the results when they are ready?It also seems their system collects too much personal information during the visit and procedure
Michael Boaz: Rude and hostile staff, there was really no one in charge here.The staff seem to have no interest or obligation to communicate.I had a very detailed blood panel and decided to leave and take my business. Somewhere else.I will give quest a try, it’s gotta be better than LabCorp especially this location.

Watched 5 individuals be serviced first and no such thing as an apology was offered before my mom was finally called back at 851 am. Heard nothing but private, non work related conversations from the staff like...you got a haircut...vacation plans...etc.So no urgency, no customer service, and a complete lack of respect for people's time.I am informing mothers doctor that lab work goes through someone else or we are changing PCPsThis organization as a whole is too comfortable and not worth the time nor trouble.
Navneet Rai: Horrible place, first of all on one of their websites it does not say they close for lunch. So I have been here waiting around for about 30 minutes. I arrived at 1 pm (their opening time) and they started at 1:20 pm taking in actual patients. This place is a joke. It is now 1:34 pm and they have only taken in 2 patients. Avoid this place if you can.

Ryan Helgemo: Note: Masks still required as of 07/22/2022. Thankfully I brought one just in case.If you're coming in for a pre-employment drug test, you shouldn't have any issues. They have a self-check in station which is fairly easy to use and saves time from the beginning. I came in about half an hour after opening and there were two people queued ahead of me. Someone still got to me almost instantly after sign in and they had me out the door in less than half an hour. Perfectly painless process.
Jesse Southerland: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. These people have no idea what they're doing. I had to tell them how to perform the testing I needed and then they preceded to yell me they couldn't do it cuz they close for lunch at noon. And they never answer their phones so don't bother.
Sheikenah Macfoy: The black lady in the front desk with the helicopter eyelashes needs a new job or better bedside manner to be in the health care field. I went in to get my blood drawn for work right after my 12 night hr shift at the hospital (I am a registered nurse) and I hate needles (always have,always will) but instead of being patient with me she decided she wasn’t going to deal with me and said I should go back to work to get my blood drawn there or go to a different lab. Even went the extra mile to call her supervisor to talk trash about me. I don’t write reviews but that lady needs Jesus or professional help. Don’t be in the medical field if you don’t care about making an uncomfortable situation for a patient comfortable. As a health care provider, I do the bare minimum for all my patients even if I am having a bad day because I actually care . I don’t know your name lady but I’m glad the only experience I get to have with you is that you be drawing blood: any other invasive procedure and I rather go meet my maker early than have an encounter with you again.

Darin Fox: I went to this labcorp on a Saturday and they are open until 12pm. This experience happened to me and another person. I arrived at 11:15 and checked and I have never needed to bring my requisition since they have it in their system. I was told I need to print it so sure no problem. I went to the library down the road with another customer who had the same issue and we printed the requisition. We were told if we were back before 12pm that they would draw the bloodwork. We were both back by 11:40pm and someone else was getting work done. We were told when we arrived that it would be a minute and they would get with us to fulfill the requisition before 12pm. The lab technician that told us this information came back at 11:55ish and said we cannot do your bloodwork today and you will have to come back the day after Labor Day. They locked the lobby prior to us leaving and wouldn’t let other customers in 20 minutes prior to close. I was then blamed by the lab technician for not having my paperwork with me initially and was told it’s my fault even though I was there waiting 20 minutes prior to close. Overall the customer service here was horrendous and I highly recommend you don’t attend this labcorp unless you are ok with egregious behavior from employees.

Allen Li: One of the worst experiences of my life, I had just recently been to this place for a drug screening and had to wait 1 hour before I was up. There was only one person working the whole place, the lady was very antsy and rude, very much so trying to rushing everything and just get out of the place. Hopefully would never need to do a drug screening at Labcorp again.

Etoilé: The bad reviews kind of scared me and made me nervous to go, but when I got there everyone was super nice!! I went there recently for an anti-body test and it was super quick and I didn't feel anything. The nurse was sweet and made sure I was doing okay the whole time too. I also like that they allow you to sit in your car instead of the waiting room, then they text you whenever they're ready to see you. I'm glad a had a great experience and I'd personally recommend this place!

After waiting 45 min from check-in, I got called back only to hear they did not have my order. This was after I received a text that they were ready to see me. They said their fax was down so the only way to get the order would be to drive to my Dr.'s Office. They said they would get me right back when I returned. I did and returned to them rudely telling me it would be a few minutes. After 15 min, I left since I had already given up an 1.5 hours of my day. So, no lab work completed, extra trip to my Dr. Office to accommodate their issue, time wasted and hangry after fasting all night/morning. This place is disorganized and does not have an ounce of care for patient service.

Wanda Johnson: Went to this location for an pre- employment drug screen. I completed the self check in and was called back within 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
J'nay Wiley: I was nervous visiting this office due to the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a smaller office so making an appointment is HIGHLY recommended. I checked in at my appointment time and was seen not long after.The staff was great. I’m a VERY hard stick and I was fasting due to doctor's orders. They got the stick on the first try and with minimal pain. Great job ladies! I’ll be back if I need more lab work.

Jesse Barnett: Customer service is not good. They have you do self check-in which relies on scanning your driver's license. I don't know who allowed them access to our information through the BMV, but in light of all the recent breaches and security that's a horrible idea. The signs are confusing, it says five people only and they require you to wear a mask. Obviously this laboratory doesn't rely on science that has demonstrated demonstrably that masks don't prevent COVID transmission. Nobody was available for questions for assistance.

But that wasn’t the worst part, The tech(light skinned women with really bad attitude) walked around giving dirty looks, Came into the waiting area and slammed the door a few times, Nothing about her was inviting or friendly AT ALL, She answered all questions very rude and short! I remember this lady from last year when I came, and she was rude and nasty then.. I don’t have any understanding, as to why she still has this position! Zero stars ✨

They have spent the last 45 minutes doing 1 walk in patient and “waiting for people with appointments” for the rest of the time. I’m medical. If they actually wanted to do work here, we all could have had our labs drawn already.
april mcginnis: I visited the 86th Street location for routine blood work. I had to pay what they deemed was my portion of the cost after insurance before the actual blood draw. I was surprised that it wasn’t sent through billing and when I inquired, the person repeated twice that it was billing and that they knew nothing.The building looks abandoned and the office is dirty, with filthy carpet,and the staff less than professional. However, the student did a fine job and was polite.The location is convenient to my work place but the experience was such a disappointment.

Until this week’s visit, I would have rated my visits a one, the lowest possible rating, due to the rudeness of the staff, the wait time and the fact that a student left me with a painful, swollen arm which is something I have never before experienced. I don’t blame the student for this, but rather the staff who couldn’t possibly have seen what the student was doing from where they were standing, and were paying no attention anyway. However, this time was a very different and positive experience with a completely different staff. Kind, professional and prompt. It was like day and night. My three-star rating is an average of my previous experience with the current one. I intend to update this rating to five stars in the coming months if this type of service continues.

Tim Sypult: I absolutely do not mean to disparage anyone or anyone’s occupation, but I have to share this as more of a warning if anything.I scheduled a pre-employment drug screening at this location and, from what I understand, my experience was pretty typical. The staff, under no obligation to be overtly kind, were straight forward. The ease of the actual test was fairly ideal and I have no ill-will towards that process.What people should be aware of before going here is that the errors made on the part of the staff here are fatalistic to your personal and financial lives. After waiting over a week to hear about my results, my potential employer informed me that the screening I took was essentially thrown out. According to them, LabCorp erroneously input my reference ID as nullified the test entirely.I arrived with a printed form with a bar code from the nurse to scan. After imploring she do so, she said she didn’t need to scan the bar code nor did she need the documents I brought. However, had she, she would have had no way of mistakenly entering my ID incorrectly. Had she simply done what was instructed per the test, I’d be employed right now.I can’t blame this on anything but complacency and apathy. The insistence of not ensuring my information was correct for a pre-employment drug screening is abhorrent.Please, heed what I’m saying! IF YOU NEED TO VISIT A LABCORP FOR ANY REASON, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST SELECT ANOTHER LOCATION! I can not imagine this is indicative of all LabCorps. I can not suggest more vehemently to not utilize this location. They’ve essentially cost me an opportunity of employment for another month out of sheer complacency.

Beer Me Bros.: The staff here has always been super nice to me. They get me in and out quickly. I really believe that the negative reviews are mostly people coming in for drug screens that are already not happy. I will always use this place for my lab work needs.
Renee Cornett: Never open on time. Currently waiting outside the door at 7:10am, was supposed to open at 7. I get my labs drawn every 3 months and this happens all the time.
William R: I don’t know what all the negative reviews are all about. I just visited this location for a pre employment drug screen. Everyone is very nice and professional. I was in & out in roughly 15 minutes. I’m very satisfied with their quality of service.
Katie Burkhard: Unsanitary location. I have worked at a concentra that does drug screens so I am very familiar with the process. This location did not allow me to wash my hands before I left, only provided hand sanitizer. I know that you can’t wash your hands until after you have signed and everything is sealed up, but only providing hand sanitizer is disgusting. Washing hands before touching doors is necessary, especially now a days. I can’t even believe this, especially if someone had to do something other than just urine. This location needs to work on sanitary procedures.

Stephanie Warrix: I didn't catch the name of the tech working on Thursday, Sept 23,.2021 at approximately 1045 am, but thank you so much. Not only did you engage in conversation to help ease the anxiety, but, more importantly - your technique was quick an nearly painless when inserting the needle for a blood draw. As an added bonus, there is only a teeny tiny bruise at the draw site, where normally, the bruising is large and horrible looking.
Jessica Casner: I was extremely unsatisfied with this place!!My 11 year old daughter had labs done here. Having her blood drawn was an unnerving situation for her. The women that performed the labs was extremely rude and unprofessional. She offered absolutely no feeling of comfort! Other than the fact that she was so rude she also had 0 desire to make a little girl feel more comfortable about the situation.I will say that the intern that was following her around for the day was very sweet! (But she was just in training) and did not work for the company! The women that was their employee was so unbelievably rude!!! Never would I go back here!
sreeraj: i would have given -5 stars if that was possible. Absolute worst experience I've had at a medical facility; ever! They did not have the right colored cap on the container, so couldn't complete the blood draw even though i had taken this appointment 3 weeks in advance. Also, couldn't find the doctors faxed order - this was the third time this has happened in 2 months! every time we have to ask the doctor to fax the order to the same exact number while we wait in the waiting room. This wouldnt have been a problem if we could somehow call and confirm before we arrive. But nobody would ever pick up your call to this location! good luck to you. I'm taking my business elsewhere!

Michele Burns: No receptionist on duty. You walk in and check yourself in on a computer, then go to your car to wait for a text. No indication whatsoever how many people are waiting ahead of you and nobody to ask how long the wait might be. I had fasted for bloodwork so I really wanted to know because if it was going to be 2 hours I would have come back another day. Tried calling to ask about the wait- no human available by phone either. Finally got the text and went in to find 6 people in waiting room- nobody to monitor how many people were crowded in the tiny room. Then- cherry on the awful-cake, the tech had her mask down off her nose. She put it on after I asked her to.

Monica Schuller: Had to take a drug test for my new job, had my child and didn't have a sitter, drove 30 min to get there, waited 20 min, and then was told I couldn't take the test since I had my child. I understand policy, but to find Labcorp's about not bringing a child its not easily accessible, thus wasting an hour and a half of my time. Once returning the next day, it was fast and professional. I just wish they would have been more understanding and offered some sort of solution instead of wasting my time the first time.

They worked hard to get our daughter and her friend a test in time to attend a concert. They had a blast!! They were welcoming, friendly, and the facility was very clean. Thanks for your hard work. They ushered me in, gave me the most unobtrusive, painless needle stick in the history of needle sticks and I was out in five minutes. Personable people, low price, and a very clean environment. I love my regular doc, but will probably never get another drop of blood drawn there unless it's part of a routine exam. I highly recommend them.
Susan Hirschinger: If I could give them a zero, I would! We scheduled and appointment for a RAPID covid test to travel to St Thomas. The man sitting behind the desk told us he didn't think that was the right test to travel out of the country and convinced us that the more expensive test had been getting back within 24 hrs. Needless to say it was not 24 hrs. The test came in closer to 48 hrs and I sit today writing this review instead of enjoying my day in StThomas. I had to cancel my roundtrip (paid with points) airfare and rebook. I had already paid for tonight at the resort. THIS MISTAKE COST ME A FORTUNE!

Your employee made us feel unwelcomed, and my 62 years old mother felt unsafe to getting anything medical services done in your facility. It has nothing to do with walk-in or not. It's the attitude and basic professionalism that she is lacking.
Randy Brown: I scheduled a work trip to Europe and as part of the travel requirements to enter was a negative Covid test within 72 hours of arrival. Logistically a bit of a challenge and although turnaround times have improved with the CVS’, etc I needed some additional personalize service. I spoke to the director of the Carmel location who called the provider to ensure I could get the results the same day the sample was received! Absolutely flawless and he even followed thru with tracking the sample and result down on a Saturday. Thank you!

Mary Beth Poe: Since Covid Mid America Labs is impossible to get a hold of. They instructed on their website to schedule an appointment on line. Well I tried that and I went to schedule an appointment but it would not go to the scheduling site. I realize that we are in a difficult time but the health care industry should be ashamed of how they are handling phone calls. I have a friend that has left numerous messages and has never received a call back.This is totally unacceptable. Currently I tried to call them and the next representative is to call me back. I am sure I will not hear from them.Your customer service is terrible and needs improved. I think you are using Covid for a reason to provide poor customer service. I gave you a 1 start because there is no zero star.
David Puckett: Tests always came back in less than three days and depending upon the test overnight.
Leann English: Slow as turtles at most branches, I try new ones thinking it's just the staff at a particular branch, but the lack of urgency and rudeness seems to be company wide. Perhaps "call ahead seating" would work well, lolI will say the results get turned around very fast!
