Yolk - City Way: what do users think?
Ruben Cabrera: The best place to eat breakfast at with your friends or family. Very friendly staff, never had a bad experience. A little pricey but for how busy it gets they serve you fast. Will recommend to anyone who loves to eat at breakfast places.Parking: Parking is pretty hard to find on a Saturday, I have a YMCA membership but if you don't it will be a bit of a walk.
Nathanial Ross (Nathan): First off, parking is difficult. Street meter parking is free on Sunday but limited. We had to walk 3 blocks to find available parking. I'd just take an Uber/scooter instead of driving if your hotel is downtown. This was also at 8a on Sunday.Beyond the parking, the food tasted excellent (chicken & waffles especially). Our waitress was very responsive and kind to us all. My coffee was never empty! Lastly, the food arrived promptly, too. It's definitely a spot to visit in Indy for early breakfast. Bill was $23.44 for one person. Entree / coffee.
Debbrina Fuce: Visiting from Atlanta and goggle best place for breakfast! YOLK, the food was excellent. Pricey but worth it. It's a must try.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chance Harmon: Exceptional service at all times!! The best breakfast & brunch place in Indy.
Lizzmed: Best breakfast I have had!
LaQuita Alsum: I've had better chicken and waffles. It came with a boneless chicken breast that was too hard & dry.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Chris Moran: Banana nut French toast best I’ve ever had in my life
Nerd Reaper: Ordered the BLTSMA, it was missing the Swiss and Avacado, the Bacon was mediocre at Best, and the fries were overcooked. The waitress did her best considering how busy they were, and it was decided a reorder would take too much time. Additionally their menu's description of avocado toast is strangely similar to bagels and lox, and apparently contains no avocado. There are other places in Indy that offer similar menus, at cheaper prices, with more consistent quality.

Amber Caldwell: The food was amazing and my waitress was wonderful! She recommended me and I loved it! They also have a full gluten-free menu which includes toast and pancakes and that is always a plus for me because I have more options! And if you are a grit lover the grits are fantastic! Too bad I live so far away from this place!
William Oberndorfer: The food here is great, although a little pricier for a breakfast chain. My wife and I had awesome service here that was the reason we will come back!
Valene Britton: This is the most amazing brunch place. I love their bloody marys and the mardi gras omelet!

William Thomas: This was our first time here and everything was amazing. The food was outstanding. Doug took excellent care of us. We will definitely return and be asking for Doug to wait on us.
Angela Trefethen: Food and service from the kitchen and attendant were good. Not impressed with hostess(s), not greeted, did not acknowledge our presence, and condensending when we asked if we should seat ourselves. Response was, we have to see who is to get the next table, and then they engaged in conversation amongst themselves, debating why server 'x' was getting the table.
S Kincaid: Loved my brunch!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andrew Ragsdale: My first time eating at Another Broken Egg was a very positive one. Attentive staff, quick service, and delicious food with attention to detail on the presentation. The chicken and waffles dish was perfectly cooked to order. Fluffy waffles with just the right amount of crisp. Juicy, tender chicken with the proper proportion of breading to white meat. Can’t wait to return to try some more dishes, including the beignets.
Shirley Thomas: All goodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Shrimp 'N Grits, City Grits …More
Tom Ludwig: Over all a nice place for a casual brunch. The service was great and very friendly. I had the Hey Lucy Omlet and the chorizo was very flavorful. My wife got the Hash Brown Benedict and asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side. When it came out the sauce was on the food but our server quickly brought it back to the kitchen and they made a new one quickly. They even gave a little discount for the inconvenience. Though a tad pricy we enjoyed our visit and will be back.
Janelle Swafford: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
barb c: We went for brunch around 1030am mid-week. Food was just ok and was served lukewarm. I actually asked them to replace the sausage with bacon as the sausage wasn't good and was cold. Bacon also came out lukewarm at best. I ordered milk with breakfast and had to ask for it twice; it eventually came out when I was 2 bites away from being done. For the cost, I expected better food and better service.
Katy Kimm: Food was delicious, free beignets for first time guests! Stephen, the manager had many great recommendations and the staff was very attentive. Will visit again!

Spoke & Steele: what do users think?
Princess Angel: This is the first restaurant I’ve been to in Indy that’s really bad, like our waitress had the nastiest attitude. She wasn’t a nice host, we had complaints about the food and she basically just told us to eat it like that. It also didn’t help that we were the only black people in here and she attended to the white man who came in an hour after us. They served him before us and took almost an hour to get us just fries. She was just mean to us and we tried to understand that it could be because she was tired but later on realized she just didn’t like us and was just being so rude to us.
Stel_larh: The waitress had an attitude. The food took forever to come out and was not good. It’s dirty in here. I understand why they don’t have customers.
Carrie Syczylo: I believe this to be my first time making a review that will be very negative and for that I apologize. This is a very honest review and my experience during my first and last visit. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter was fine. The food was the worst food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. We eat out an average amount and the food we received reminded me of hospital food. Everything from the soup to the main course was as bland as bland can be. I ordered the prime rib and it was by far the worst cut of prime rib. It was tough and nearly impossible to cut with a steak knife. I asked for medium rare and it was medium well, it had absolutely zero seasoning and tasted very gamey. It kind of tasted as if it was prepared a couple of days ago and re heated. The veggie medley was ok and did have some salt and pepper on it. The potatoes were at the same satisfaction level as the prime rib, old, dry and flavorless. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We did not complain, the waiter tried. We paid our bill, tipped our waiter 25 percent and headed home. I contemplated making a review because I just rarely do. However I would hate for people to spend their money on food of this quality.
J San: We had a delicious meal. Good options for vegetarians. I hope to be back soon. The server was very attentive and kind.
Meghan Loughren: The food is nothing special. The service is somewhat poor. I’ve had mix-ups with the hosts before and inattentive service. I’ve been here twice and can’t say I feel inclined to go back.
Mallory Thompson: The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and our waitress was good. We ordered the salmon and rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was crunchy, so I only took one bite. The salmon was average, especially for the price tag. The portions were on the smaller side for the expense. The dessert was passable, but not anything to rave about. I would say there are definitely other restaurants to try in Indianapolis that might offer a better experience.
Richard Passey: Food nasty. End of story.Food: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Jerome Ash Jr: This place was awesome I had good prime rib and it was delicious cook medium-rare not to mention the service was perfect and the place was beautiful great atmosphere.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jim Thomsen: Had dinner here last night and could not get in for breakfast (I'm staying in the hotel). The service is slow and the food is not worth the wait.
Aaron Bunch: Fantastic food, atmosphere, and workers.Couldn't ask for better. Heather was an amazing waitress and the food wasn't rushed and prepared perfectly.First time here...pricey but well worth it.
Sylvia Watson: Celebrated a Galentines Day event with some women from a group I'm in. The atmosphere and service were amazing!! The food was good too. Prices weren't terrible. Highly recommend!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chris Nusbaum: The service was regrettably inattentive and the food was underwhelming
Paul Milligan: I’ve been multiple times and found the service to be mediocre, the food to be pretty good, but the portion sizes were meager and the prices are high. I don’t think I’d go back.
derrick huesman: This place is trash. Expensive drinks and food but not expensive flavor. I felt like I got robbed. Duck confit was overcooked. I was not impressed with any of it. Oh, and the menu is not very diverse. Fancy words and no flavor.
Markhel Hargrove: Great food here. Staff was overworked but that's pretty common nowadays. Ordered the pancakes and bacon from brunch. The pancakes (2) were reasonably sized and the bacon was crispy. I'll come back here when I'm back in the city.
Gregory Klotz: Great food. Our server, Cara, was helpful and attentive!
Skylar Wooden: Overall, we had an extremely underwhelming experience. Our sweet potato fries were over cooked. The entree we wanted (the salmon) wasn’t available. We ultimately ordered the duck, which was on special, and found that it was fatty and slightly over cooked. Coupled with the price, we will not be back.
Mitch Snyder: The food was excellent, and the dessert hit the spot. Drinks were fun and well made. Kara was very nice, and Nathan was a great bar tender. Would definitely come back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kevin Ackermann: Staff was great but food was underwhelming. Its ok for a glorified hotel restaurant. Many other great options in Indy.
Jordyn Nelson: Where to begin. This was truly the worst dining experience I've ever had in Indianapolis. The service was fine, which is the only reason I'm giving 1 star. I won't say it was outstanding, but she did make sure we had drinks, ordered within a timely manner, etc. however, she wasn't concerned at any point with how we were actually enjoying anything, specifically the food. My husband ordered an old fashioned, and I ordered wine, and we felt that our drinks and the appetizer (truffle fries) were the best part of our experience. For our entrees, I ordered the lamb chops and my husband ordered the prime rib (both med rare). Lamb chops were the smallest I've ever seen, cooked medium-well, and had more of a "mint cilantro smear", if you will, instead of the mint pesto. My husband's prime rib was truly the worst part. Cooked extremely well, dry/grisly texture, not served with the horseradish sauce (which is always served with prime rib). I really wanted to send our food back, especially considering our server never checked back during the meal. Oh, we were also only 1 of 3 tables there the entire night. Yikes, please just don't go. Save your money. Go literally anywhere else.

The Dining Grandpa: I had breakfast here this morning. This moderate sized establishment is in the corner of a small shopping mall. Just to the right of the north side social club. This place has indoor and outdoor (Heated) seating. Plenty of choices to sit and enjoy your food, table, split booth and diner seating. The restaurant has an industrial modern feel, with cement floors and a bright white colors throughout with a neutral decor. Small menu offered here, with a little something for everyone. Having never eaten here before I relied heavily on the opinion of my server. I was trying to decide between the Eggs Benedict and the Kitchen"ette" Sink. I chose the latter. The Sink came with a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy topped with breakfast potatoes, bacon crumbles, two eggs over easy and cheddar cheese. You can add avocado for 2$, or chorizo for 3$, which I did not. Must say, my waitress had good taste. I throughly enjoyed my breakfast. And I did get a side order of sourdough toast, for all my delicious sausage gravy. The Wife opted to sleep in again this morning so I brought her home a cinnamon roll. It looked wonderfully scrumptious and she agreed that it was “just that”. If your in Broad Ripple at breakfast time and want quick dependable service try here. I do believe you’ll like it. 👍👍

Love Handle: what do users think?
Angela Bottorff: Visited today on a whim. Super cute place. Quaint and eclectic. Enough about that, the food was AMAZING!! I had the shrimp and grits and it was honestly the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! The shrimp were huge and perfectly battered, the egg was made just right, and the grits were nice and cheesey. Would absolutely recommend!!
Lisa Crandall: I had the chicken and waffles and while the chicken was good the waffles were the most underwhelming flavorless waffles I think I've ever tasted. Syrup hardly helped.Get something other than waffles.

Sue Ream: We went here for Saturday brunch as we were downtown Indy. Honestly there aren’t many brunch places open before 10, and we had the idea that we might stroll Mass Ave after eating. Ah well, the best laid plans of mice and men…..As we are on a low carb diet, really done of the menu choices were viable. You’re not going to find eggs, breakfast meat, and toast here. I have a picture of the menu, which is written on a chalkboard near the counter, attached. We tried to put our own meal together by asking for scrambled eggs and a meat side. I ended up with fried chicken and my husband with fried fish. It was not great. The eggs were creamy but the meat left my stomach feeling a little queasy with the heavy fried vibe. The sodas are off brand and unique. You go up to the counter and order, and grab your drink from a nearby cooler. You get your own plastic silverware from a side station that is loaded with several varieties of hot sauce. Prices however are more what you would find at a full service place. The atmosphere is unique. It is retro and feels like it was decorated from an antique store. They were projecting a weird Grade B Elvis imitator movie onto the wall but music played over the speakers. Maybe if I were more of an urban, boho, 20 something I would have enjoyed this experience more. This shops around so not open until noonish so all in all our plans did not work out here.
Thad Corcoran: Food is always incredible. The pork belly is amazing, on a sandwich or waffle. Quick and friendly service. I love the vintage decor as well. I'll be trying the grits next!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Derek Torrico: Such a low key brunch spot, food is delicious and the vibes are dope! My fav is the pork belly and waffle. A combo I never expected, but it goes so well together!
Megan Sierra: This is we the best brunch we have had in a long time! From the outside we could not tell that it was a restaurant, so don’t be intimidated to go in!! I had the bodega breakfast sandwich with pork belly and my husband had the loaded lox hash browns and they both had amazing different flavors. The hot honey on the sandwich was so good. I highly recommend and sorry we couldn’t get pictures because it was that good. 🙂 Great staff, atmosphere and eclectic vintage vibe. Definitely will be back.
Sarah G.: Always love the handle and their food.
Denise Morris: I have no idea why there's good reviews of the biscuits and gravy. It wasn't that great. I can cook better myself. It was so salty I left half on my plate. $11 I wish I wouldn't have spent.
ricky church: a little expensive, but i wanted a lox sandwich so bad, and they made it for me! beer too 👍
kyleitis: Great biscuits and gravy. Comfortable homey place to eatFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Elaine Mays: The atmosphere was great it gave you an 80s feel with movies playing in the background....I had the shrimp and grits the shrimp was cooked but had a burned taste to them like the grease was burning and they cooked it anyway ....but the grits were not gritty at all smooth and creamy .... The potatoes were not what I expected but maybe they were having a bad morning or something....go on a good day I guess
