Casey Brown: I went to Roberts 4 times. 3 out of 4 times I was treated like they were annoyed that I would think I could shop at the store. This last time I asked about a wireless speed lite trigger and the salesman told me to go to the used side because the new ones started at $500. I guess he assumed i couldn’t afford that. It was also strange since they were closer to $100 starting online. Regardless, I went ahead and went over to the used side. All of the salesman avoided making eye contact with me. I even walked up to the counter to specifically speak to one of them, and he looked away and quickly got up to move away. After waiting to speak with someone for about 10 minutes (despite the fact that there were more staff than customers there) I decided I was done trying to ever go to Roberts again.

They had ONE employee (Daisy) & she’s what really turned me into a loyal customer of Roberts but I never see her anymore. I’m disappointed at their customer service. I have consistently been renting cameras from them for about a year and have never been late or missed a day. Long story short, I was late to return the camera but note, it’s a weekday in a dry season & no one had the camera booked. I still had to pay despite that. I totally understand there’s policies but for a company/brand that’s really trying to humanize their experience it’s just strange to me to not offer grace— especially because I’m a consistent customer & there was no collateral. I didn’t even receive a phone call or anything regarding the camera. Other than that, it just feels like 90% of the people who work here don’t want to even be here & idk if that’s cause they treat their employees like trash or something else. Regardless, I’m definitely on the search for a different store.

Greg Brenner: Surreal experienceI rarely go outside the 465 circle but had a camera issue and went to Robert's they recommended I go to this place and handed me a small cut, badly copied piece of paper. I was taken aback but Roberts Camera said it would cost $300 to send it to Sony. Hence, i figured I would give it a shot.I found the address to be a cinderblock red building at 8444 E. Washington. I went inside to find a place just stuffed with antiques, furniture, tools, costume jewelry. I did not see anyone upon entering and was alarmed when I saw a creepy looking mannequin dressed in a suit by the door. After shaking off my fright I called out hello? A woman appeared from the endless stacks of stuff, looked at me and said, "You looking for Ron?""Yes", I said with hesitation."He's all the way in the back" she repliedI raised an eyebrow and proceed through the maze of items. As I moved deeper into the store making sure my messenger bag did not knock any items off their resting place I saw a lit sigh that read Cam Pro Service. There was an grey bearded man there to greet me and I entered into his workshop that could not have been more than 8'x8'.I pulled out my camera and showed him the problem with the lens I was having. He immediately identified the problem, grabbing a tool and went to work while I stood there. He explained the problem showed me what he was doing and withing 5 min had the camera working. I was amazed. I said "how much?""Don't worry about it" replied RonI said "At least let me buy you dinner and handed him 20 bucks."He thanked me and I wandered back out to the street, glancing at the creepy mannequin on the way out. Standing on the street, i was entranced by the weird odd little experience I had with the shop. It was like out of a movie. Weird hours too but an adventure.

I have an eero wifi system and you can use a 5th generation echo dot as a wifi extender. The salesperson came over to assist me and promptly told me that this was not possible. He was condescending and was sure he new more about this then me. I started to show him the info online but he quickly discounted that. I didn't want to argue with someone who thought he had all the answers and was not open to learning anything new. It's sad that he wasn't open to learning anything new. I just got the wrong salesperson who wasn't as smart as he thought he was.

He answered ALL of my questions as I explained my situation with my child's new gaming computer in the basement with the modem upstairs, he explained my options, and I am very happy with the solution I found and the product I purchased. We were also helped to find a precharged mobile battery to use on the go. Great service at this BestBuy!

rj lee: Went in to purchase a new fridge for our basement. Went in at opening and waited in appliances for 20 minutes. Finally went to the front and the guy said he would call someone. After 15 more minutes of waiting we went to the front where three managers it looked like were discussing something. We asked for an appliance person so we could buy the fridge, and after telling them what happened they all looked at each other and said there’s no one in appliances in? So we said forget it and left and they just said sorry and kept talking. We went to Home Depot instead and they have a better warranty and staff always eager to help. We only go there for large home appliances so it’s unfortunate we won’t be back again.

Hannah Land: I had purchased a washer and dryer from this company, first they bring the wrong ones. Then the men that delivered it complained and refused to take out our old dryer. They also lied and said they couldn’t install it due to bad parts on our end. Turns out all of our stuff is fine.We hired someone to install it and turns out they never brought us all of the pieces to connect to dryer. It seems as if the box that came was a returned product missing multiple pieces. Most items shown on the diagram on the box were not included. Would not recommend spending this much money to not get the products you paid for or the instillation. I am highly disappointed and very frustrated. Here I go to the laundry mat yet again….to spend more money
