Ethan Dexter: I am a parishioner here. The masses are engaging and the priest, Fr. Eric, is really good at what he does. People are always at the doors to wish you good morning, and the other parishioners are always lending a smile.
Kevin Barrer: The enlarged sanctuary is beautiful. The community is very nice. Father Eric delivers concise and relevant homilies.

Matthew Acker (Uncommon Elixir): I've been going to Nativity for literal years. While I am not native to indiana, I have attended this Church when we visited family. Now that I live in indianapolis, this is, not necessarily the most convenient place to attend, but it is definitely quiet, friendly, and getting better after the last year. At the time this was written, Fr. Eric is the pastor during the Church renovations. My sister and her fiance have chosen to get married in the church (might even be the first in the new church, maybe?) And I've enjoyed many services at it's now four opportunities: Saturday evening @5:30; Sunday morning @7:15, 8:30, and 11:00. It's not the greatest, but I still take something from each Mads.

Andrea Anderson: We have been part of the SMS community since our son was in Pre-K and we are so happy that he attends St. Matthew. The teachers are excellent and they really have worked with our son to help him develop to his full potential academically, emotionally, and spiritually. I love that he is exposed to art and music and also has the opportunity to participate in great after school activities.
Susan Bentley: St Matthew has not only given my son a superior education, it has given our family a community family. The staff are awesome and the principal is tireless and sincerely cares about the students and that they are not just educated properly but, are well adjusted individuals. This school is THE best!

Mark Carpenter: What this church does very well:1. Outreach to Hispanic and LGBT communities.2. Gorgeous services, CD-quality music from the choir every week.3. Socially engaged with the community. (If you are a political or social conservative, you probably won't like this church. Consider attending an ACNA church, instead.)4. Not afraid to make political or social statements, based in Scripture (putting the Holy Family in a cage as a protest against the really cruel and inhumane policies of Donald Trump and Greg Abbott).5. Summer strawberry festival. DO NOT MISS THIS IF YOU ARE IN INDY IN JUNE!!!Where this church needs work:1. Welcoming newcomers. I attended this church for six weeks and was not greeted one time during those six weeks, so eventually I left.2. Cliques. There are strong cliques in play at this church. The parish as a whole needs to work on disengaging these cliques and making newcomers feel welcomed.
