Indianapolis Art Center: what do users think?
Carole H: Incredible sculpture gardens with a beautiful park with waterfalls, historic sites. And an extremely excellent view of the riverI happen to be staying at the hotel next door and had to come check these statues out. These are on the outside park are and there is no entrance fee. Plenty of picnic areas.
Alica Coffey: Amazing place to take classes and learn different forms of art, the teachers and staff are great as well!
Kaylee Schlecht: Great experience and it was absolutely free(I’m not sure if it’s always free or it was a special event). These photos are from a few months ago but I’m still amazed when I look at them. Very creative and talented artists! If you’re ever in Indy go ahead and stop in you won’t be disappointed.
Erin Ellis: Beautiful both indoors and outdoors. A gem of Indy!
Amber Love: Absolutely beautiful campus, with events scheduled throughout the year. The installations on the grounds are always really cool, but even without the structures, there are benches and an overlook from which to watch the river. I love seeing the seasons change here. The classes I've attended have also been worth every penny, particularly the glass blowing. Highly recommend!
Jaime Chanter: Such a great spot! We walked the trails and saw the sculptures. We headed inside to warm up at the little coffee shop. The library was cozy and clean with even some sweet little kid art books. The inside galleries were super cool and the workshops looked fascinating!
Salma Bakr: Was looking forward to this art center, but found it closed during opening hours, and even the artspark was dark so we couldn’t see anything. Will try to revisit when in Indianapolis again!
Shirley Green: I loved visiting the Indianapolis Art Center, there are so many amazing Artists able to showcase their artistic abilities. It has truly inspired me to get back into my art, especially seeing my son Mechi and daughter Shanel's artwork on display!! 👏🏾
Mark Swaim: Great place to express your art side and meet new people.
Ivan Sleet: Awesome exhibition for Flava Fresh!
Paul Oliveira: Excellent venue for our charity concert.
First Email (Abyssal): Learning animation here. Gonna take more classes here later into next year.
Hills Chan: Love it. I’ve done many classes here in woodworking, metalworking, watercolors. Almost a fun time, everyone is super nice, and u get cool stuff to take home
Colton Weber: Very good.
T Shirley: Lazy staff, no general knowledge of their posted policies or follow-up to issues. Grounds are reasonably maintained but interior is dirty with some areas like the library in need of maintenance.
Daniel Mack: Great place for learn art for the family.
Holasonia Garcia: Buena sala de exposiciones. Lugar donde se pueden hacer cursos
Lainey B: Great art center with nature trail
Elizabeth Renee: Lovely!
Wendy Lentz Civil: The Indianapolis Art Center is my new favorite happy place as the art lover I am.You can visit the Indianapolis Art Center to discover the work of amazing artists. Take Art and creative classes for you or children. When I visited them, the work of the artist Bad Habbit was being exhibited. She’s such a talented artist. It was also the 50th birthday of the center, so they had an amazing fair which I really enjoyed.
Just Sherri: Pretty fun place with things for all ages.

Indiana Historical Society: what do users think?
Ambassador Dr. Angela J Nealy, PhD: Awesome place. I saw the church where my Great, Great GrandUncle once pastored in 1866, Rev. Dr. Willis R. Revels
Martine Janvier: Great museum! We visited this museum during museum day in September when it was free admission .The staff is present all around the museum and was friendly and helpful. The exhibition was interesting and interactive! It kept my 10YO daughter engaged in each part. The whole building is spacious and have a nice ambiance with classical music playing .We were able to grab a quick and affordable lunch in the café at the lower level and eat on the patio with view on the canal and that was nice .
Traci Koehler: The Eva Kor exhibit is EXTRAORDINARY!! The hologram of her answering so many amazing questions drew my daughter and me into a more personal view of the holocaust. She was an amazing woman who survived soooooooo much!We absolutely love this! Now I want to go back to find the answer to, "What is a hoosier?" on the second floor.
Emily Scott: Thanks you
雷一鸣: Have a dinner there with the program. Nice place!
Ivan Sleet: Who knew poetry could be so emotional. The Twin Poets are phenomenal!! There stories through their spoken word is an AMAZING Journey! Thank you IHS and Storytelling Arts of Indiana!!!
Keyshawn Louis Scott: Great history on 9/11 and the victims
Daniela Quiroz: It's gorgeous but in summer it should be more beautiful since right now it's super cold.
Vicki Mansfield: Very educational informative and entertaining exhibits that all tie back to Indiana.
Denise Laverty: Great venue for an event!
Julie R. LeHunt: Went for the last day of The Festival of Trees. Loved it! Do wish the Stardust Cafe offered at least coffee/cocoa/tea/soft drinks, & maybe snacks, later than 3:00p. Otherwise, I love the facility & all it offers (it was a lovely venue for a small wedding I sang at a few years ago).
Mike Lipe: I don't know how I did it...It was so enthralling, I actually fell asleep while walking.
George Wright: We went to with friends to their large display of decorated Christmas trees. A good way to kick off the holiday season
Elsie Robinson: The Christmas Tree display was wonderful and the free entry for educators was very appreciated!!
N Odell: Look for the displays on the Jewish History in Indianapolis. Good reading, lots of pictures. Have lunch at the Stardust Cafe downstairs.
Stephanie Metz: The Eva Kor exhibit was well worth it do the virtual reality
Cody Dubose: Awesome place for family fun.
Dan Bartlett: My wife and son really like to go look at the Christmas trees at the Historical Society during the holiday season. This is not really my idea of a great time, but if you lile that sort of thing then there are a lot of trees to look at. I also went to a presentation about BIM in the auditorium there once as well. Other than that, I'm not sure what else goes on during the year. They wanted, I think, $13/person for admission to the Christmas tree thing -- that's way more than I believe it is worth. Our local library has a couple of passes that you can check out for free, so if you are planning to go that might be a better route.
Renato Martins: Fantastic place for history and culture. Very well maintained building. People there are friendly and professional.
John Ginder: We went for the festival of trees at winter. The trees were amazing 70 some trees Christmas trees decorated and made to be representing a certain thing and it was absolutely just fun to go see.
Jill Roark: We took our niece and nephews to see the festival of trees. We all had a blast. We will make this part of our holiday tradition in the future
