alexis abner: A friend and I got dip mani and gel pedis. My nails were dried with a fan and then a few nails got smudged. The person looked at them, scoffed and didn’t fix them. My friend picked a red color, but they did pink instead. Color selection was very slim. I did not receive a thorough pedi either, but the kicker is when we went to pay I was charged more than my friend and we did the exact same thing. I tipped accordingly, but did not feel the person deserved it. I will never go back nor would I recommend this place.

Danielle Rasor: Got my nails done here today. Asked for a simple white French tips and even showed a picture of how I wanted it. After it was all said and done it was the worst manicure I’ve ever had and the most expensive. It looked nothing like the picture. My nails never have looked so HORRIBLE and I have gotten them done in 14 different countries.

I’m super picky about my designs and nail shaping so trust me when I say they always get me right. My favorite nail techs there right now that I go to are Tony and Tim. Jaleesa Combs: My 1st experience there was great I got the dip powder. My 2nd experience not so good I have a issue with Dan T and he told me to leave him alone and he refused to do my nails! There was an issue with the pricing on the website vs what they wanted in the shop. My 3rd issue I booked for Sunday at 9. Got there at 8:45 and no one there. I had waited till about 9:30 seen a woman go to the door who were schedule for 9 also by Lina. The woman told me she had texted Lina the night before but then text her and said she couldn't make it. When the woman told Lina that I can go before her she told the woman no. Lina did my fill in but it was so thin when I went to wash my hands one of the nails broke. Needless to say by Tuesday they were all breaking off. They were too thin no build to them like she was rushing to get to her other clients. And the other woman who finished them didn't know how to shape, file, or clean them up at all. I won't be back.UPDATE 6/18/19Lina did my set 2 weeks ago and it came out amazing. They are still on today and I will be going Friday to have them redone. Thank you.UPDATE 8/6/223rd review and last time going to this nail place. I have been going faithfully every other week for months. Last time I went July 30th I got a fill in and canceled my pedi due to me buying a car that previous day Friday. I was told that I need to pay half of the service and I told Lina(owner) I didn't have it. She said okay and that she would not my account but next time I would have to pay half. I said yes okay that is fine. I think my nail tech Julie keeps overcharging me for nail length this time and last time. Last time I even cut my nails down and she still charged me a extra $5 for the length. They definitely weren't long last time or this time. And wasn't told I would be charged extra. Fast forward to 8-5 yesterday I called to make my appointment like I normally do and no answer. Call again, no answer, and I'm sent a auto text stating I would be called right back and wasn't. Next day today called twice again no answer and was sent the auto text again. CALLED FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER & THEY ANSWERED! Definitely won't be going back and will not recommend! Booked at a new place already!

Amanda Rodenbeck: I’ve tried this salon twice now because I’ve received gift cards for my wedding to come here. They are friendly and I received 2 pedicures now. The massage and scrubs are great, good atmosphere. I understand I have shorter nails, but each paint job has been really bad. I always come home with toes 1/2 painted and other ones so thick at the top. The pics below are right after my pedicure. Like the place but need to work on painting techniques.Service:Gel manicures

However, because management REQUIRES now that your credit card be on file now, that is something I prefer not to do. I hv been a loyal customer for years. Its sad tht because I won't gv the facility my information, I can no longer book there. I will move on to a nail salon tht does not require this.
Nicole Werth: You are not supposed to use a drill to remove GelX Extensions. You can use the drill on the extension piece ONLY. The adhesive is supposed to be soaked and scraped off with an orange wood stick, not drilled off! I chose GelX because I didn't want a drill used. Lisa Zebrun: I am new to the Indy area, having moved here right before the COVID outbreak. One of reasons I moved here was to help my daughter, who gave birth in January of 2020. In February of 2020, she gave me a gift certificate to this salon as a thank-you, saying she really liked it, and I might want to make it my new choice of salons since I live nearby. In March of 2020, one month after I received the gift, everything shut down, and I started doing my nails at home. Not until April of 2021 was I was vaccinated and starting getting my life back. By then, this gift certificate had already expired, but I wrongly assumed the owners would take clients' COVID concerns more seriously. Because I'm immunocompromised, I still limit how often I go out and where I go, but I decided to treat myself to a manicure for a special occasion coming up this weekend. I called the salon to confirm I could still use the certificate/make an appointment, and was shocked when I was told the certificate would only have been honored for a few weeks after its expiration. I have a major problem when gift certificates expire and/or lose their value in a short period of time anyway, and this situation takes the cake. (I do understand that, eventually, unused gift certificates must be written off, but not necessarily after one year.) In my humble opinion, since vaccinations weren't available until well into 2021, I feel it is extremely short-sighted to not add a full year to gift certificates that expired in early 2021. Now my daughter is furious she wasted $110 (on two gift certificates, neither of which were used) and will not return to this salon in the future. I will not patronize this salon under any circumstances and will never recommend it to a friend. Had they accepted my expired certificate, I was already planning to tip exceedingly generously as a thank you for their kindness in extending the date. I was also hopeful I'd find a salon I'd look forward to visiting in the future. A kind gesture certainly would have made them stand out in a crowd of salons I see everywhere. It was not to be.
Kellie L: Do not recommend for a dip manicure. When I usually get dip, it lasts for 3.5-4 weeks with no breaking or chipping...the past two times I've gotten dip at Vogue, they are breaking within 3 days of getting them done which is a massive waste of money. I recently got dip and one of the nails cracked two days later so I went back to have them fix it...well two days later I have 4 nails that are cracked.. it really depends on who you get to do your nails. I've had one or two great dip manicures there and the rest have been terrible - probably won't go back after this time.

Rita Barber: The first time I walked into this salon a little over a year ago, I walked in on a customer complaining about her service. It made me a little skeptical because of the conversation they were having in English about the customer. I should have left immediately! Anyway, salon has beautiful decor and no smell of chemicals, which drew me in. I made this Salon my number one spot for the last year. That has all changed. For the 2nd time with in the year, I’ve either had a problem with how my pedicure or manicure was done. Each incident, the technicians became offended when you point out a “fixable” problem. If what they’re doing isn’t to your expectation and you say something, it becomes a very unpleasant experience. I’m not spending my money at a place where a technicians work is substandard and you’re expected to keep quiet and accept it. What was the problem? The male tech didn’t paint my toe nail down to the cuticle. He left a very noticeable space so I ask him to polish down to the cuticle. He told me this is how it done so “we” don’t get polish on the skin. I ask, can you just polish down to the cuticle. The second issue was the nails on my hand were not polished on the side of each nail and he said he couldn’t paint my nails on the side unless I had a manicure. He did eventually paint then and that’s when he became rude and totally unprofessional. Telling me if I “do this” again I will never be allowed back there. I couldn’t believe my ears. I said , what did you just say to me?? This is when I went to talk with the owner. My experience this evening with upsetting to say the least. I’ve made many referrals to this business, I will continue to do the same but for the unprofessional behavior I experienced this evening. The female owner allowed this rude, obnoxious male nail technician to interrupt our conversation with yelling and rudeness. I ask her, is he your brother? He was so indignant and yelling loud that I believe he was related to her or her husband. Also, I’ve never seen this person before. She eventually brought up a previous time my nails weren’t shaped the way I ask. Mind you, the minute I said something about it, the female technician became upset. African American women are the largest clientele in nail salons and we need to be more supportive of each other when we are disrespected and not give our money to these businesses. It only takes one time to say something isn’t right and from that moment on it becomes uncomfortable at each visit. Brooke Sharma: I am not one to leave reviews but i am fed up with my services lately. I am a pretty normal customer here & usually recommend this place to everyone. I even travel from downtown just to go here for all my services since they’ve opened approximately 2-3 years ago. lately i have been very disappointed in my services as i feel i have been up charged the last few times i’ve gone. my experiences started out just before november when my husband & i went in to get pedicures- they upcharged us for his pedicure and forced me to get gel when i wanted normal polish. then november 2022 i went in specifically telling them i need my nails perfect as they’re for my wedding. I ended up spending $120 for acrylic w rhinestones & plain white polished toes with no pedicure. $120 for those two services seems outrageous to me. I let it slide by because that was my wedding nails & i assumed maybe they did an extra good job or something. that’s not it though- today I went in to get plain gel polished toes, no pedicure & powder dip nails. i’ve had these services multiple times so i know what they usually charge. I noticed they raised the pedicure prices when i had asked for their price sheet. not thinking about it, I proceeded with my services & had my husband pay while i was finishing up. I went back to my car & asked how much he paid out of curiosity & he says $90 + $9 tip. my mind was blown. How can you charge someone almost $100 for simple gel polished toes & dipped nails. correct me if i’m wrong, but i feel robbed at that point.. i went back in after discussing with him & asked if their prices had changed. the lady told me yes, pointed at the price board on the right side of the wall & said a basic polish on toes + gel ($10 extra) is $35 when that’s also the cheapest option of their pedicures… sooo why wouldnt i have just got a pedi for the same price??? i usually pay $12-$18 for just polish so something doesn’t add up. & then she showed me dip powder nail prices & I have never paid more than $35-$40 for dip powder nails.. if they’re charging me $55 for powder nails, i might as well get acrylic for the same price. This is the THIRD time i’ve been up charged… it’s getting ridiculous & unfortunately pushing me further away from coming back to what i thought was the best salon in Indy.Not only are the prices an issue but anyone that struggles with sensory issues- the music is the same repeated music every time you go & can get quite annoying. that’s besides the point- i’m beyond frustrated & i am to the point of avoiding going to this place if you don’t want to pay outrageous prices. Yes their work is good, but not $100 everytime good. i rather tip my tech very well for outstanding services than charge more for the service itself. I am only rating them 2/5 because they offer a variety of services & huge selection of colors in which you usually don’t see around indy, they have a clean salon, they do amazing nail art & shaping, and are usually super open & friendly from my experiences. i’m just tired of being looked upon as having money or being over charged for whatever reason when i have only given them loyalty & usually very hefty tips.Services:Dip powder,Waterless pedicures

3kidsmom: Terrible. Brought me and my daughter here on November 20th for a fill in and pedicure for myself and a basic gel polish on my 4 year olds nails and toes. They charged her adult prices which was the first red flag and the lady got done with her in about 30 mins. The pedicure I got was rushed and not relaxing at all then to top it off my nails were how I wanted them AT FIRST but hours after I left my thumb started to chip and days later others followed the same way. I called factor nails for a refund for atleast my portion and they refused only offered to fix. I don’t want them on my nails ever again! They use cheap polish and charge outrageous prices. $178 down the drain. What a waste!

My daughter and I know about nails and when u get gel polish you don’t put nobody under a regular hand dryer to dry, they have to use that uv light dryer to dry. This place is amazing and the gentleman that does my nails takes his time, has never cut me, cares and asks me if I’m happy with my color choice and every nail is the same length, shape, & size. It’s so hard to find a good nail technician and I’m so happy that I found this place. The woman working there is the sweetest person. Only minor complaint is that the color selection is somewhat small but otherwise, the best nail salon on the southside!

My wife's toes were cut several times (and later, her fingers).Meanwhile, I had my feet bathing for around 45 minutes until someone came to finish my pedicure. A basic nail trim and some sole scrubbing was all I received - no cleanup at all on cuticles, etc.There's no vents for the acrylic work, and that's something I've never seen. The design work was decent, but for the price and the amount of time we spent there, I'd honestly look elsewhere.

RJ Coe: This was the WORST pedicure I have ever had. The guy was rude and dismissive. When I told them I wanted a pedicure , no color, I was treated rudely for the duration of my visit. My pedicure was rushed and not at all complete. He even didn't bother to thank me for my patronage. Very disappointed and I will not return for their services.As a followup... I went back to have a conversation with the young man who was rude to me to let him know how unsatisfied I was. I asked if he had a moment to talk and calmly, and in a low tone so as not to allow others nearby to hear the conversation, told him of my dissatisfaction. He began making excuses that that they were busy; that he is always on the phone; having to work in walk-ins; and low staff. I asked if they prefer not to have walk-ins and he said they work in walk-ins when they can. The fact that he immediately began my pedicure let me know this was an excuse. He finally apologized and said he would make sure it did not happen again. I wish I believed him.Service:Pedicure

I usually don’t have to wait too long but I have waited over an hour before and I wasn’t even 100% satisfied with my nails. Thankfully, I was able to go back the next day and get the extra skin removed because my big toes were hurting(in- grown skin). Secondly,3 stars because of the callous removal job; it was good but not great because when I took a shower and bath within 24 hours, I was wiping away more dead skin and it was in my sandals and I was on an out of town trip(embarrassing). However those 2 nos, the atmosphere and customer service is excellent and inviting. Thank you to the 2 professional nail techs that assisted and cared enough to give great customer service.Btw, I will be returning.

I called for availability and they had it immediately. Usually I get a simple solid color because I'm always too nervous to invest in any kind of design and show a Pinterest picture. But Mimi (the host) was super helpful in helping choose my designs and helping me find a color. I ended up noticing that Mimi had beautiful french tips and so I got inspired and chose that. Crystal was my nail tech and she was super patient and careful. Out of all the salons I have been too, my nails were not as damaged. I only had a couple fingers with a tiny amount of skin peeling back. No bleeding. Definitely coming here again. Thank you Crystal and Mimi!

Kathleen Davis: ABSOLUTELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Got a fill in and paid $42 I came back a week later for a polish change and she wanted to charge me $50. Tell me how that makes sense. Adrianne Harris: For what I experienced, this business doesn’t even deserve one star😡😡😡 I went in to get a gel pedicure. The woman who was working on my toes cut my cuticle causing pain and bleeding that would not stop. She finally apologized once she saw that the bleeding wouldn’t stop and one of her coworkers that was sitting next to her was telling her what to do (I think) since she couldn’t control the bleeding. No one offered a refund or anything!!! The pain and bleeding continued for an hour afterwards. I am beyond angry and disappointed in their services. I will NOT be returning. I am nursing the injury and praying it does not become infected😡😡😡😡
Brooklyn Nickols: The lady hurt my nails badly and gave me cuts on the outside skin around the nail. When filing she pushed down with her nail on my skin casing it to get irritated. The design on my nails was pretty easy but the lines weren’t fully covered through and they were not close to eachother. The first photo is what I wanted and the second is what I got. BeautyClubT: The lady that was doing my nails did my pedicure in less than 10 minutes she did not take her time with me at all when she was doing my nails she kept snatching my hand she was in such a rush to get to the next person that she did not take her time and do all the steps with me I give it two stars because the nails are OK even though I didn’t get what I wanted to because she was not used to doing longer nails. Long story short I will never go back to this nail salon the customer service was very poor she said nice things here and there but she was mostly talking to her coworkers .I really wanted to do a self-care day and unfortunately it just didn’t go as planned. However my three friends and I went into this nail place 12/1/2021 and the ladies were all rude, my nail person never spoke to me unless she absolutely had to, they weren’t nice (unless they were forced to be) the lady that I had do my nails, was on the phone the entire time while doing my nails, and messed up occasionally. On top of that my other friend had her nails and toenails not even match each other, which she had paid for those. My other friend got a gel manicure and they didn’t put gel on. Abby Plummer (abby plummer): My 3 friends and I visited this nail salon after school on 12-1-2021. We made our appointments two days before hand through the phone and asked for estimates… I got a basic gel manicure, my friend’s got other things such as full gel sets and gel fills along with pedicures. When we called they said a gel manicure was gonna be $30-$35 , but when it was time for me to pay they gave me 4 different prices… I was told $43, $40, $30,$35. I’m completely fine with paying for the service, but I believe that it wasn’t worth spending the time here. The salon is beautiful and clean, there was some expected dust and all, but I don’t know if my utensils were sterilized. When we walked in they had no clue what to do with us and it took about 7 minutes of us explaining to them what services we’d like. Though I enjoyed the girl time, but I did not enjoy the artist constantly yanking on my arm, throwing my hands in the water after they had already soaked for about 6 minutes each to look at another person’s phone for awhile, getting snapped at, and having extra things being applied that I never asked for on the bill or received. I got home and realized that there was a chunk of gel left on my finger that she probably didn’t see, but that’s ok! They only told us that we could choose from one color swatch book because apparently that was all they had, but there was a whole wall full of gel polish. I’m not 100% upset with my nails but I know that they could be better.
