When I get there not only could I not find it but the person I asked to help me looked for about 2 minutes and then just walked away to help someone else. I will not return to home depo again and I suggest that the 13 million people that look at my reviews don't either. What terrible customer service!!!!

Started a business in Indianapolis and have shopped here at this location and I'm highly disappointed. The staff couldn't find invoices and then accused us of making up prices. Contacted someone back in Michigan to help me. The service was awesome. Having my products delivered from Michigan to post road to minimize rude and gross staff behavior. Thanks to Michigan for getting it right. Shame on Indianapolis's east-side location!

Mrz CPR: Purchased a new plant baby. I was disappointed with the indoor plant selection. Many of the plants seem neglected and either under watered or ridiculously over watered. They need to do better or Clarence them out so people can take the plants home and revive them

Jeff Hostetter: From the moment I walked in the door to the point of loading my cat with the shelving units, there was an associate there to help. The cashier was friendly as well. I was able to get everything I went there for and was in and out on Easter Sunday fairly quickly.
J C: The tool rental employee would rather do nothing and blame the customer rather than consider that the machine might be malfunctioning. When their machine was proven malfunctioned, they would rather roll their eyes than apologise. Other than that, I come here often.
allen ross: Worst experience getting unloaded took over 16 hours. Nobody answered the phone at night after calling and getting answered at 10am was told your next to get unloaded still at 320 getting unloaded talked with store manager and still took another 5 hours he act as if he scared of the workers. Will never return here I hope and pray thus store closes and these workers find a new job because this isn't it.

After going through a few big box gas grills, I decided to buy a more expensive premium grill. The grill was considerably more expensive but is more than worth the investment. The owner is extremely knowledgable and wanted to know what I like to do on the grill. He then suggested an American made grill from Broilmaster. The difference between this grill and a very expensive grill at big box store is night and day. In summary, I got a great American made product that fit my needs and exceeded my expectations.

Pam Sampson: We were looking for someone who could “hold our hand” through the process of transforming our 45 yr old stone gas log fireplace to a direct vent insert. Initially, we were going to have them do all the work except for demolition but after several design changes, we chose to do most of the reno ourselves. They were just as helpful when they were doing a big job or just the insert install. They traveled 2 hrs from their base for this job. We are so happy with the final project. The insert is awesome and the best part is that EVERYONE was GREAT to work with!!!Here is a before and after! Thanks guys! Love, love, love it!!

I've still not heard back from them about fixing my fireplace and honestly that's fine- we have dealt with it on our own. I would call- leave messages sent emails to Peyton and no response. My appt was rescheduled 3 times- which i understand things come up. But it's just horrible response and lack of communication that would never lead me to recommend this place to anyone.

We rented a paint sprayer from this location as it is the only location of the hardware stores in the region that rents paint sprayers.The sprayer was broken. The connectors were shooting out the primer all over our driveway. We had planned on painting our house. Everything was taped up and ready to go. They had no additional paint sprayers to rent either. The entire day was lost and no apology or anything. Should they not check the equipment that they rent out after it's been dropped off from the previous user? Simple due diligence would have prevented this issue in the first place and not have wasted our time.Very disappointed and lack of business responsibilities on their side. We will never go to this home Depot again.

I’ve been here before and the staff is always helpful and today was no exception. I would have spent a lot of time trying to find that one bolt needed out of the several thousand. Thank goodness for the helpful sales clerk he knew just where to look. I would have been quite aggravated for my efforts and likely given up. If you’re looking for something you can find it here. Jeff Doermann: Our son needed new blinds to repair their Master Bedroom window coverings. The Home Depot had just the right sizes for both windows( actually 1”difference between each blind). They even gave us a $25 discount just for applying for a credit card that was not actually approved. They gave us the discount anyway! Great place, great prices and great service🙌

First we approached a worker to ask for a plastic part named command hook and he said that they didn't sell that there... imagine that another client who was kind enough to serve us better.We then went to the sliding door sales area and looked at the Anderson doors... as the salesman looked at us almost saying they were out of reach and then making fun of my wife for the way she pronounced English. Was A Customer: Rude, racist & incompetent. I get the incompetent part, its the world we live in but I can not get over the racist comment and rudeness in this store. Youll find no customer service here, nor will you find respect as a customer, nor does the staff command respect as, Cameron told me, "an African American was just outside the door and would help me load", now that sounds racist..instead try, there is a gentleman outside to help load?. But no, this is racist Carmel, Indiana. Terrible manager named Peyton. Purchased $645 in material. Requested a skid for the material which was denied to the point of irritation. The material is cement based, I require a skid for my trailer so I could easily deal with the half of ton material on my jobsite. The material I purchased came to them on a skid. You've lost a customer, I'll never step inside one of your stores ever again. Peyton is one ignorant manager, good help is hard to find and it's very apparent at home depot. So now, Peyton, go find a skid for the material and place it back in stock, now you've handled the half of ton of material by hand 2x, but I'm almost certain you could care less about the individuals who have to handle the material. The Ignorant girl has no business as a store manager, absolutely none. 🙄

Debra Wilcox: Every time I come I find every day items out of stock or no longer stocked. Example: vertical blinds & mini-blinds were out of stock on my last visit. I was told they no longer stock appliance touchup paint but have spray paint to touchup appliances. To touchup a quarter-sized chip on a fridge with spray paint that will go everywhere in the room is ridiculous. Went there they coukd nit finf but computer said 20 in storeThey mafe a call and wete told to call tools who never picked up phone but afyer 2 pages finally answered and yes thet had. Went to tools. No they did not have need to go to lawn and garden. Went back and finally found someone who tried to send me to tools again but another looked on phone and said they had none. So went from 10 to 0 in 15 minutes. So spent 20 min and 3 departments for information customer service could not provide. And I took my old battery witj me to make sure no misunderstanding.

Karissa Stichter: The location is relatively close to the Greenwood Mall. Generally the few times I have been in they aren't super busy, but the self checkouts take time if they are. I don't find the staff overly friendly or willing to help you out, but I typically can find what I am looking for when I go there.

Lost us as customers that's for sure. My advice, lose the God-complex and honestly serve the people you're trying to sell to.The Menards down the street had great customer service. Glad we could get our appliances there instead.
