React | Formerly: Young Actors Theatre: what do users think?
Nicole Demetris: I love it I started going there for my acting class I'm I the rewrite the stars I think it'd called I'm in the older class
Lillian Cardwell: Wonderful organization - focused on making cool, meaningful art with kids.
Amelia Soline: this place has shaped so much of who i am today. everyone there is so great and they truly care about the students. i found a space to express myself and show my love for theater. and behind the scenes is just as fun as being on stage! React will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Amy Millis: Absolutely loved it!
Brian: We should have posted this a while ago but our daughter expressed her disappointment again recently. As an 8 year old she attended the YAT kids sandbox class. She worked hard all season long practicing, attending all the classes and when they finally had the production, head of the department that led the play read all the children's lines for them. What a waste. Our daughter decided to pursue ballet over the last year and a half but would like to try acting again. She did however express specifically that she does not want to go back to YAT.
Roz Rankin: YAT allowed my daughter to build her confidence while expressing herself through the form of art. Over the past semester, I've seen my daughter come out of her shell and enjoy being around groups of people. She really enjoyed making her own costume and being front and center on stage. The performance, was well executed. Every child had a decent amount of lines. I highly recommend this program for young actors.
Dawn Hay: My kiddo loved this program, it is very focused on self empowerment - very positive atmosphere and they don't overbook the classes.
The CoolBronco: I loved the show tonight!!
Amelia: Everyone there is awesome coming from a student for one year planning on being in their shows until I graduate
Teresa Corazza: I think the experience I got here was the best I’ve ever had. Each director cares about every student and helps them become an improved individual. YAT is all about Self Empowerment and making a better future for these beautiful beings. Every person that has been here, without a doubt, has come out the other side a better person. Yes, it isn’t easy and not every moment makes you want to scream with joy but, the feeling I get when I’m on stage is worth all of the hard work. Every session I create a new family that I love and loves me. Every single person that does Yat will have a bright future because of what Justin, Gara, Georgeanna, Anne Marie, Ryan, Cathrine, and all of the many successes teach us. We are taught creativity and discipline all in one. Where else can you get that? Where else can you listen to some of the brightest minds tell you that you can do great things and accomplish whatever you want to with creativity and discipline? This program is a dream. It gave me confidence and more of a work ethic. They don’t have us sit down at desks and learn about math and science. They have us move and live like there is no tomorrow and, I’m the end we should all respect this. We should respect the people that don’t want to conform to society. They are making the future one person at a time, and if everyone has the mind of a yat student, then we can change the world.
Loneta Norkus: My children receive 100% love and encouragement from every student in the class. Now where else can you find this?? The staff are quite passionate and help each child grow.YAT changes outlooks and boosts self esteem.Thank you staff for your dedication and enthusiasm.
Shannon james: I have to laugh a little at how this place has 5 stars. My experience was horrible with having my child attend. To all the instructors you don't teach a student how to gain confidence with bullying them to a point were they want to leave crying. Justin's incessant yelling and temper tantrums were beyond unacceptable in a professional setting. Almost embarrassing that a grown man behaves this way In front of not only my child but other children! My child is confident!! She's a beautiful young girl!! She knows her worth but I truly feel bad that she had to experience what she did with the people she did. I would give you less than 1 star if I could you barely deserve that. I honestly hope that one day you can experiment with different ways of teaching your eager students confidence without having to use bullying.
LunaTheGreat: THIS IS A SELF EMPOWERMENT THEATRE!This place is great! I came in thinking - "I 'm going to be a better actor after this."And walked out having SOOO MUCH MOREEE
Pin Win Wong: I love it here Great place for kids learn about; great place for families.

Roots' School of Theatre: what do users think?
Clint Wilson: Our daughter performed in Aristocats this past weekend. As a kindergartener, we were a bit nervous how she would handle the script and learning process, but the crew at Roots helped her every step of the way. It was a blast seeing her on stage and her older sister now wants to perform at Roots too!
Roz Rankin: My daughter did a few months of private acting lessons. I can't honestly say she improved, but theater class for on-screen acting... where do I lay the blame? She is now successful now that she works with on-screen acting coaches. Tried to get my kid singing lessons, but they never replied to my emails. I heard them working with one little girl and she sang beautifully, so I had wanted them to work with my kid. It's okay, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Asante Art Institute of Indianapolis, Inc.: what do users think?
Sharon Felder: My daughter was a performer from 1996-98. That's how long this great work has been in existence and even before then. A wonderful learning experience not only in the performing arts but in life skills as well. Debra Asante is a remarkable and gifted woman. She cares about the kids, the community, and the culture. The Motown Revue was a smashing success. Many young people have to gone on to pursue the arts and entertainment industry. All students thrive under her outstanding tutelage.
Susie Payne: I love the great work this organization does and plan to support them on Giving Tuesday to support their mission.
Mrs Wallace: I just wanted to take a min to say the Asante Children's Theater has been an amazing place for me to grow my talent and get to know other individuals that love the arts just as much as me. I have been apart of 3 secession's with the Adult Academy and I have met life long friends that I absolutely love. The Asante Children's Theater is my second family and any chance that i get to be around them I jump at it. :-) :-) :-) :-)
Diamond Parker: Loved this place very positive atmosphere. Great for children and adults. The student performed the tribute to the Jacksons was excellent. Really enjoyed the performance. And the people there. Would like to see another performance. Great job students!

Indiana Repertory Theatre: what do users think?
Tayler Coleman: My only issue is the sound, no mics, but the performers speak loud to where you can hear most of the show.Staff is great, seating anywhere is great and in a great part of downtown Indy!
Marisol Mahony: This is my 2nd year going to IRT and I really enjoy it. Most plays are very good and interesting. Last night we watched Shakespeare's will. Tracyichelle Arnold was amazing. It is very hard for one actor to carry the whole play by herself but she did it. I can't wait for next year's performances...
Aishat Eko: That was my first time in a theater and I enjoyed every moment, the actors were amazing and the costumes was on point. Will definitely go again.
Sherri Smithey: Oedipus was a great production. Wonderful theater, small enough to have all good seating. Beautiful venue.
Roger Kennedy: Watched a performance by Dance Kaleidascope..incredible show and wonderful venue!
Ernest Berman: Very nice venue. Very good plays.
Stephen Heitman: This review speaks only to the theater itself, not to any individual production I've seen there. It's a beautiful venue, large enough to stage any production that readily comes to mind, small enough to have a feeling of intimacy, which I enjoy. My chief complaint is the same as I have with all arts venues. The seats are uncomfortable. Mostly, they're too hard with no lumbar support. As a disabled veteran with chronic hip and leg pain issues, I'm usually more grateful than most when the intermission comes around. But, as I said, this particular critique applies to virtually every arts theater I've ever been to, not just IRT. Put some more padding on those seats and you'd get five stars. Overall, though, I would highly recommend IRT for seeing a play.
Laurel Clark: Came to see Oedipus (Sunday matinee) - it was a great experience. Plenty of parking in the area, comfy seats, great sightlines, great audio, amaz6 actors! Very excited to see more here! Bravo!
John Montgomery: Was at Tony's steak house food was great Had a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes to get seated what a joke Very slow at the door
Tim Parham: We enjoyed the show, and the theater itself is great. Would love it if seats provided a little more space. It's definitely a great place to visit!
Connie Jennings: Seats were good, play was good. $5.00 cookie was stale. No good refreshments.
Susan Petrey Carriker: Beautiful theatre, excellent production, talented actors. We took a group of middle school students to a play. It was a very unique event for the students and a truly memorable experience for all of us.Update: I returned with my husband to see FLYIN' WEST for my birthday and it was awesome. The actors were excellent, the story was compelling and some of the dialogue was hysterical. There is so much history in this story and this production made it seam so real. I am glad I had an opportunity to enjoy this theatre again.
Jeremy Tuterow: Love this place!
Ansley Valentine: The IRT is an Indiana treasure. The shows are always great.
Sean Daniels: A Christmas Carol was the feature of this evening. Actors did a splendid job! We had a wonderful time with the family. Comfortable seating. Short waits during intermission. Easy to find parking.
Cary Albin: Love this place. We go see a Christmas Carol every year for almost 20 years now
briskets'N'bourbons: Gem of a place
Sara Brown-Janowiak: I did not take photos, but I always forget how beautiful this theatre is. The architecture is gorgeous.
Cary Miller: Beautiful theatre with an engaging staff. We watched the Christmas Carol and we were blown away by the impressive set and technical features of the facility.
Yorik Castillo: I lost 20$ here but I had fun
Cody Amos: We went to see A Christmas Carol and it was amazing! Love the theater love the actors they put on a fantastic show!

Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre: what do users think?
PJ Lavelle: My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the Jim Messina concert. Would love to see more of these shows. Staff was great. Venue was perfect. The audience appreciative. Fun night in Carmel. Thanks for asking. PJ
aaron ketchum: Had a great time! The Ceash Test Dummies were amazing, and the theater was a wonderful place to see them.
Devin Farrell: Incredible crew, hospitality and venue staff.
joseph campbell: Amazing place love it
Richard Mason: Awesome play about the diary of Anne Frank!
Glen Heppner: Great facility for audiences of 500 & less.
Cheryl Gibson: We went to see the Ugly Duckling with my 9 yr old nephew. We were delighted to see that there was an ice skating rink outside the theater. He skated while we got hot chocolate and stayed warm in the igloo tents that were surprisingly filled with comfortable and stylish furniture including a small heater! All around the rink on there are heat lamps which were much appreciated also. The play the Ugly Duckling was very imaginative and well done. Each actor played several parts, and the set/scenery was well thought out. It was very appealing to the children as well as adults. The story was easy to follow, but at the same time, there were nuances only a mature person could follow. For example, the mother duck birthing the eggs was not something a 9 year old would understand. It was a great experience for all. The staff were polite and helpful, and as we got there early, we got a parking spot right up front. I highly recommend this venue to one and all.
Gregory Lilly: Great celebration for Dr King
Randy Eide: Another wonderful show. All seats are great!
Wayne Warf: Went to see "A Christmas Story: Musical" which was surprisingly professional. Very well done. Comfortable venue.
Debra Johnson: All seats are great here. The acting was superb!A Christmas Story the Musical. These young people were so good!!
Mark Owen: Great venue for a musical. We saw The Christmas Story Musical at Booth Tarkington and had a great experience.
Rachelle Owen: We saw A Christmas Story there last night. It was an amazing show! Great place to see musical/play.
Eric Matters: This is a gorgeous and versatile theater space allowing for a plethora of artistic endeavors.
Brandon Zimmerman: Great establishment! I saw Rent 3 times and it was very well put on! I'd give them more stars if I could!
Hank: Rent was very good. Outstanding performance
Andrew Johnstone: The "no guns allowed" sign is quite a deterrent for a professional like myself. As both a physician and pharmacist, I am used to the responsibility of protecting myself, loved ones, and patrons of my business, by legally exercising my right to carry a concealed firearm. It is ridiculous that a venue such as this puts up virtue signaling signs like that because they have zero effect on reducing the crazy person who comes in to kill people, yet inconvenience honest law-abiding and peaceful people, and in fact reduce the odds that someone who is a law abiding peaceful person could actually stop some kind of crazy person who obviously will completely ignore the useless virtue signaling signs. I will not return until the take down such ridiculous signage.
Stephen Cunningham: Attached parking garage is super convenient. 42nd Street performance was excellent.
Barbara Harrison: 42nd street musical was great. Great to see such talented youth.
Aisha E: Saw Sweeney Todd and also an Alice & Wonderland ballet. Both really enjoyable show. Would definitely recommend seeing shows here.
Ally Bright: We saw Little Mermaid Jr. and it was great. The production was really well done with a spinning stage, animated screen, and wonderful props to bring the show alive. Everything was really clean, the staff worked hard and were kind, and overall were professional and great!

It has been a joy seeing our son thrive and grow through the last few years while being a part of the YIT family.
Rebecca Storey: We love doing theater here! So much so we have signed up to do a full production in the fall for The Little Mermaid. YIT fosters a family atmosphere that is inviting and supporting. Regardless if your kid is part of the ensemble or a leading role, YIT makes every child feel important to the show's performance. It's been great to see my girls' confidence grow as actors and young individuals.
Kelli Yeater: We had a hard time finding a nice theatre that wasn’t outside of our values. We are so please to have found YIT for our kiddos to be able to express their creativeness. We’ve done a production, an enrichment class, and private voice lessons. Highly recommend this theatre.
Shannon Sloane: This is a great family environment that offersindividualized teaching in the areas of music, dance, piano, flute, strings and more. Ages 2-adult. Highly recommend!
