Indira Camargo: I used to love Livery. When they opened I was number one fan and was my place to go. Yesterday, that completely changed. We ordered: the Crab tostada, yuca Fries, Picaña and the Chocolate tres leches. Number one disappointment was the presentation of the crab tostada, followed by the lack of elevated taste. The picaña was just OK but the “sofrito rice” was terrible, no flavor at all. Finally the tres leches was weirdly presented with some sort of chocolate icing on top (butter and chocolate), caramel ice-cream on the the side (I don’t get it), strawberries (ok) and whipped cream (why?).Drinks were great. We ordered the sangria and the cachaça colada.I do have to say the crab tostada was the was and was taken off the check.

He was not greeted by anyone upon entering the restaurant and had to venture to the bar to inquire about our order.Yucca fries with queso — the fries are very starchy, so definitely share, but the queso was incredible.Guacamole — great dairy free option for a starter. Large portion, and spicy!The little pinwheel complimentary table snacks — I will take a family-size bag, please and thank you. Crispy, zesty, salty. So good!Paella — it’s not a traditional paella at all, so certainly deceiving based on the menu, but the shrimp and scallops were cooked well and the dish was very flavorful. If you don’t like lots of little chunks of onions and peppers—beware. Also, very spicy. And we thought the portion was a little small for the price. ben judkins: In town for the Fringe festival we found this cool downstairs bar that had interesting drinks and a cool vibe. It was my friends birthday that week so we decided to have a small group meet there Sunday night to surprise her. I called ahead 2 days in advance to make sure it was OK and was told they would love to have us. Fast forward to the night, when we got there, the only 2 employees had been told nothing about our group but seemed ready to deal with it. The bartender even asked me for a list of songs she'd like to hear, which blew me away.I was so sure the night would be epic.Within a half hour not only was the stellar customer service gone, they were outright rude to us. Also, they took individual drink orders and then when dropping off the drinks suddenly wouldn't hand them out without a credit card... Mind you, I had been there twice earlier in the week and was never asked to start a tab...So in review, this place has a great atmosphere and a cool vibe and good drinks. But need to figure out how to run a bar...

The menu is unique having inspirational quotes, along with distinctive drinks. Next time I come back to Indy I’ll be stopping by this great establishment!

April: I have been coming here for about a year and am disappointed to say the quality has dropped dramatically. They seem to be understaffed with long wait times. The bathrooms were pretty gross with a toilet bowl cleaner thrown in the corner, dusty shelf, and stained chair. Overall it seems like they just aren’t properly maintaining things. Cracked booths and worn menus etc.

Bianca Gogel: I've always wanted to check out this place and was slightly disappointed. For a Saturday night it was quite dead, not a big deal because I'm not a fan of loud places. Found a spot at the bar, and the bartender was nice and quick. I will say the place could use a deep clean. It didn't smell pleasant and kept getting a whiff of something rotten. Also, many of the light bulbs were out and dusty.
richard haluska: Waited 15 minutes to get a drink. Then waited over an hour still no food. Watched the waitstaff let food sit for 10 minutes and never take it to table. Watched customers ask for coffee up to 3 times without getting any. No one is in charge. Food was taken to wrong tables. There were only 20 customers. Watched several people walk out. After no food and waiting 50 minutes. Watching several others get served and wait staff wondering why people didn't tip on the $4 cup of black coffee about a 10 oz cup. After asking 3 times. Only got 1 star because zero wasn't available.

J.R. Smith: My first repose when looking at these reviews was "4.4 stars, you gotta be $#!++ing me." We stopped in on the way to our room after an event at Lucas Oil (Saturday night) to use our 2 complimentary drink tickets for staying at the hotel. It took 20+ minutes to get served at the bar. 1 bar tender on each side, with 1 guy bussing. The bar was full of people, as so was the seating area surrounding the bar. Poorly managed in my opinion. Saturday night, downtown Indy, Lucas Oil event, the should have had bar tenders on each corner. Would have benefited the customers, as well as the pockets of the bar owners and staff. For a premierly priced bar to only have 1 drink well, at the end where she is secluded from the customers, is a bit absurd. The bar tender also kept her bottle opener at the well, yet the beer coolers are located throughout the bar, so she would need to continually run to the well to open the bottles... poor layout. To top it off, our order of a screwdriver with titos was made with pineapple juice... the washes were kept in similar looking bottles in the well, so I'm assuming the bar tendering couldnt easily identify the different juices. Next time we'll just forego that experience and spend the extra time to walk, and go somewhere else for a night cap.

With no more than five other customers in the bar it still took longer than 45 minutes after ordering to get food. Probably longer but we had to cancel the order to make an event. Budget 25 minutes for one round of drinks, and frankly 2 hrs for food. Absolutely no sense of urgency or care from staff.
Matt Panfil: Used to love Plat99, but last night went out for a drink for my wife's birthday, and we waited for 45 minutes and finally just left. The bartender told us he'd be with us, then served everyone that came in after. Felt weirdly targeted, also he was super unfriendly and insanely slow.

Jay Grieves: A perfectly serviceable hotel bar. They are sometimes staffed such that there's no table service, but it's a small place, so that's not too much of a problem. The small bites aren't great, but if you need something to nibble on, the grilled cheese is pretty good and, indeed, small. If Nesso, the hotel restaurant downstairs, is open, you probably want to go to their bar instead.

The service was impeccable and it was the perfect place to have a date night or catch up with friends.We stopped by this evening around 10pm (they are open until 12 on Saturday night) and the place felt like it had been forgotten about. The outside fire pits were off, tables put up, and couch cushions stained. No one greeted us when we came in and had to flag someone down to take our order after waiting for a while. The waitress definitely gave off the impression that we were bothering her by being there.We weren’t offered popcorn and they were closing and cleaning like it was past close, when they were open for another 2 hours. It definitely felt like they didn’t want customers to be there.The drink menu was pitiful and premade. In visits past it was a craft cocktail bar and they took pride in the drinks they served. We had the Platt 99 punch and it was awful.The server left for the night and just left her tables without saying a word; we had to find someone to pay our bill. It was disappointing returning after the pandemic to find this place in such disarray. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Located upstairs above St. Elmo's Steakhouse, it is accessed from just inside the restaurant. 1933 Lounge has a small menu of appetizers, including St. Elmo's famous shrimp cocktail. The bartender was very good. There's various forms of seating from at the bar to high top tables to couches and chairs. There's also a fireplace. Definitely check it out.

The restaurant was never more than half full yet our service was not good. We waited 30 minutes for drinks after being seated so it really set the tone for our whole experience.The food was overpriced, my husbands carne asada tacos were extremely small (3 tiny tacos for $25 - no sides). The guacamole was 5 slices of cucumber and weirdly chopped radishes atop avocado with several entire sprigs of cilantro on top. No effort in presentation.Underwhelming - expensive for what you’re getting. We had a reservation for 10 and it was not okay - that just added chairs to the end of a booth instead of seating us at rectangular tables together. And we could only seat 9 so we told the 10th person to just meet us after.The building was nice, decent aesthetic. Food was okay but experience very poor.

Ali Parvez: The menu is not too big which is typical of a Mexican place. The food is extremely delicious and the service is relatively quick. I tried the chips with three kinds of salsa and I have to say that it gave my palette a desirable workout. The tacos were simply amazing and the overall ambience of the place is a cherry on the top. My friend ordered a three milk cake that was presented in a very elegant bowl. Honestly it was more of a treat for my eyes than some of the posters I saw on the conference I attended that day.

Above average service by Armando our server and time from ordering until the food arrived was impressive (even on a Friday night) but not a great Mexican food compared to the rest of Indy. The chicken was above average, the steak below. Salas were decent , the hot one had the most flavor. Chips are home made but not warmed, the tortillas seemed like what you buy at the store. Definitely seems like a place for folks visiting the area or in a large group. They have locations in 2 or 3 other states (owned by a restaurant group with two or so other offerings)
Ryan Dotson: Not your average Mexican restaurant. Food was amazing! Think upscale/gourmet Mexican. Everything we got was so flavorful. Menu has your typical options, but also unexpected items you don’t usually see. We got the crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizer that were so delicious. Also recommend the tacos in pork al pastor. Good portions for the price. Even the chips and salsa is a notch above the rest. The restaurant itself has a fun and trendy atmosphere. If you’re in Indianapolis looking for something to eat, try Nada…you won’t be disappointed!

Jose Leon: We visited on a Sunday evening and the place was was fairly empty for the bar. Most were there for the basketball (March Maddness). Service was okay but the steaks were perfect. Wife had the filet and I went for the bone in ribeye. They were outstanding. Mine was not fatty but marblie...deviene! The only thing in the doggie bag was literally the bone for out doodle back home. No room for desert but left feeling very satisfied. Oh and the new facelift was notable inside and out...! Devyn Rubino: We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Sullivans with my father-in-law. It was our second visit to Sullivan’s. Our server, Michael, was fantastic. I appreciated his recommendations for appetizers and steak enhancements. He also is the first server to ever recognize that my husband drinks a lot of water and brought him a second glass to keep filled. We truly enjoyed our time here and will continue to come back.

Holly Krajewski: My cocktail was terrible. French Martini is my go to drink and I was told the bartender at Sullivan's makes theirs with gin. The recipe calls for vodka so I requested vodka. I took 2 small sips and left it on the table the rest of the evening. The waitress never asked what was wrong or why I wasn't drinking it. For $16, it should be right, right? Alas.
