Aura R. Deschamps, Psy.D., HSPP: what do users think?
C. French: I began seeing Dr. Deschamps last fall due to some academic issues in a graduate program in which I’m enrolled. At our first meeting, she suspected—and through subsequent testing confirmed—a diagnosis of ADHD.I’m in my early 30s. I saw a psychologist in my mid-20s over the course of several months for many of the same issues. This other therapist never even suggested the possibility of ADHD, while Dr. Deschamps identified the possibility on my first visit. However, in addition to arriving at the correct diagnosis immediately, Dr. Deschamps also worked with me to develop straightforward, easily implemented, and impactful strategies to deal with this condition. I came away from every session with a clear sense of what I should be working on.As a result, I’ve made significant progress in learning to live and to deal effectively with my disorder. Once it became clear to both Dr. Deschamps and me that I had arrived at a place where I was more in control of this condition, she suggested transitioning to sessions on an “as-needed” basis. It is clear that Dr. Deschamps’s primary goal is her patients’ growth toward well-being. I never felt there was a wasted session. I never felt like my treatment was going to be an interminable series of direction-less discussions. Dr. Deschamps is a caring, encouraging, and no-nonsense psychologist. I am so glad to have received treatment from her. Her work has literally changed my life for the better.
Alexa Roe: My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Deschamps's services to anyone in need. Dr. Deschamps did a psychological evaluation for both of us as step in our international adoption. She went above and beyond to send us our reports in a timely manner, as well as making updates when needed. She is very knowledgeable, sympathetic, and professional. She is highly-regarded by other leaders in the psychiatric community. We cannot give enough praise to Dr. Deschamps!
Peter Robbins: I went to see Dr. Deschamps for some problems with my teenager. She was very diligent in assessing the problem and equipping with life skills. She was very easy to talk to, and provided invaluable guidance and direction to both myself and my daughter during some very difficult times. She was firm as she needed to be and yet sensitive to our needs- wonderful qualities in a therapist. I highly recommend Dr. Deschamps.
Aname Bname: long story short I don't recommend this psychologist to anyone, never will.I went to Aura Deschamps to get a personality test along with an IQ test. simple stuff, school psychologist give these to students every few years. It turns out the test was going to cost over 1,000$. My insurance was going to pay for it all so it was fine.... until they didn't. We only got half way through the process, I had taken her tests, now she needed time to asses the results and get back to me, that was when my insurance decided it didn't want to shell out. Well I didn't except her to do anything for me until I payed her so I figure we would move on, I payed 25$ for each of the sessions I had with her(3 in total) so I payed her for her time. But then she started sending harassing texts claiming that because we got halfway through the process I owed her half the money, she wanted 600$ for what we had already done or in her words the "services" she had provided. Which included her sitting and filling bubbles on a multiple choice sheet as I went through the IQ test, showing me black/white pictures and asking me what I thought of the picture, asking a lot of personal questions, and sitting in a chair as I did a reaction time test on her computer on my own. That's basically a full list of the "services" she provided and she wanted 600$ for it.She eventually threatened to go to collections and I didn't feel like contesting in court so I payed her what she felt she was owed. But at the end of the day, I came to her for information, I payed 600$ plus 25$ for each session and got absolutely nothing for it. No information, no feed back, no test results, nothing!I completely regret seeking her out. As for her personality when she spoke her words were very formal but her tone and body language felt like I was being judged, while taking the test she seemed very impatient, wanting to just go through the motions and get it done. I never felt like she was interested in doing a good job for me.

John P. Gallagher, Ph.D.: what do users think?
Aimie Warrenburg: I had severe anxiety and was afraid to leave my house. Through holistic and nutritional education, he helped me overcome my fears and get healthier physically, emotionally, and mentally. He truly listens and involves you in your own healing process.
Darren G.: I am so thankful for the information and therapy I received from Dr. Gallagher. I was taking Benzodiazepines for anxiety and insomnia. I was able to get off of them after several sessions and learning from him, the correct way to take a natural anti depressant supplement. There actually are natural supplements you can buy that increase serotonin naturally without the side effects. I no longer have to take any medication and just continue using the supplements when I need them to help me sleep.
Shelby Haggard: He cares about his clients well being and is very genuine. Very great guy!
uycomo: We went to dr Gallagher to work on our marriage but he acted very aggressive and not helpful at all. I’m afraid that he won’t help, seems he’s fine to bring you down. Don’t go there, search for someone else.
Skyler Pridgen: Worst experience of my life. Can't believe I paid for this "help."
J S: Dr. Gallagher’s goal isnt to necessary keep you as a patient and collect a copay from you forever and ever. He wants to get you back to the best you can be as quickly as possible. He’s not in it for the money but for your well being. Yes his approach is more “holistic” but he isn’t pushy, and most of the suggestions he makes are very affordable (and they don’t sponsor him, etc). He has a very organized approach to how he does things. In just a few months I saw a great improvement to my overall well being.
Tod Jeffcoat: Me and my then wife went to see Dr. Gallagher to work on our marriage. Instead, he insisted on addressing my depression (caused by my then wife) by encouraging me to take 5HTP, which only caused physical problems I did not have before. In my opinion, he is not a good doctor at all.
Charla S.: Excellent Experience. Dr. Gallagher works less to label a diagnosis and more to use traditional therapy to delve into the the cause of your symptoms.
Deborah Tanner: Dr Gallagher is an excellent doctor. He has helped me through major issues. He listens with the up most patience and interest. He is not one of these doctors who wants to see you upteen times to pad his pocket. He likes to get to the bottom of things and help you resolve it with you. In usually 5 sessions. If you need more sessions of course he will be happy to see you until you have found success with your situation. I cant say enough.about this doctor. If it wasnt for him I dont know where I would be now. He's saved my life and given me piece of mind.
Christopher Yoke: Bases treatment upon Holistic types of practice. Suggested I go against my medical doctor's dietary requirements and spent most of a session trying to sell me a lightbulb (not kidding here). If you believe crystals and mumbo jumbo will help you, you'll love this nutcase.

Integrated Psychological Center of Indiana: what do users think?
Taro Roberts: Aarika is a terrible therapist. Pushed me to pay before sessions were even complete, constantly told me to find a new therapist, overall she caused me a lot of emotional distress and there was not really any “therapy” involved.

Beech Tree Consulting and Psychological Services: what do users think?
Missy Serles: Beech tree is absolutely wonderful. We were referred to Dr. Cara Pratt to evaluate my son . We drove 3 hours to see her because she came so highly recommended. She was phenomenal, and when she says we are a team now, she means it . I can contact her with any concern or issue and she has always responded in a timely manner and is always up to offer advice and recommendations for the situation at hand. My son is finally getting the services he so desperately needed in school , and so much of the credit for that goes to Dr. Pratt and her genuine passion to help my special kiddo .
Kitty Scheetz: Beech Tree is amazing and accommodating. I work with Dr Coltner and have had nothing but wonderful results. Finding a therapist can be hard, and is a lot like dating. Usually, you strike out a few times before finding someone that 'gets' you. This was my first venture back into professional therapy in many years and I was braced to have to recount my life story and troubles many times over as I looked for a therapist that worked for and with me. I got so incredibly lucky to find Dr Coltner on my first try. He has wonderful empathy and provides wonderful guidance. Intake was speedy and there was only two weeks between contacting Beech Tree and my first appointment. The option for telehealth appointments means that therapy fits into any schedule.
Corrie Hovee: My husband and I needed couples counseling ASAP. Thank you Beech Tree. Dr. Brent Luebcke has been amazing. He was able to meet with us right away, and my husband actually looks forward to our sessions 😳. Brent has worked with our insurance and made us both feel heard & understood while providing constructive criticism & guidance. I would highly recommend Brent for any counseling needs!!
Jessica Balascio: Holy smokes. Dr. Neukam is AMAZING!!!! 13/10 WOULD RECOMMEND! She's kind but firm; progressional but personable; and she will really help you get where you're wanting to go!!!!! She's legit the GREATEST!
Cai Sue Grass: The people here really try to help the patients that they encounter. I went here as a teen and was helped here more than anywhere else I'd been told to go to years and years before. I recommend this place to anyone feeling lost or concerned with their mental health or their child's.
Charles Hopkins: personnel are very friendly and knowledgeable

Meridian Psychological Associates: what do users think?
Blue Wild: The front staff is cold and not very helpful, yet I did have a good experience with the doctor and he explained what I needed to do to get evaluated and get my test results. It took time but I was able to get my diagnosis with 6 weeks. I would not go through them to get my medication, I sought other places for that.
E H: I've called twice now to receive the new patient paperwork and still haven't received it. Honestly don't even want to spend my money here so I guess I'll start reaching out to other places.
Missy Doty: The office staff here is condescending and not friendly at all. Every time I went there were more fees. I ended up paying $1800 for what was quoted to be a $1000 test. Dr. Miller was kind and very helpful. Its unfortunate that this office is the face of her. If you need testing or anything mental health related, please save yourself some trouble and look elsewhere.
Ashley VanFossan: sketchy & immoral. refuses to explain the scope of business they do & lied about how long testing takes when i told them what was explained to me by my provider. says to call back during business hours but answers the phone on a Saturday at 12:30pm, two days after Thanksgiving stating they are obviously open. Never heard of this company or business before.
Lee Winkler: This place is a joke Cheryl Groth will not return calls or emails I have been on a medication for over 20 years she wants me to come off of medication but since I have taking pain medication due to back injuries from which have left with a deteriorating spine and four fractures in my spine I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety disorders since I was a kid and I have been on Klonopin for many years and along with my pain medication my doctors long ago have set up a medical treatment plan for my condition and showed me the proper way of how to take my medication’s, so there would be no overdose. She refuses to prescribe me any of my anti-depressants and my Klonopin because of this pain medication. She is a joke she’s not understanding or compassionat. And I recommend that you stay away from this place they are nothing but a joke big if I could rate a -5 star, I would they don’t return phone calls or anything
Kim Koers: Had a zoom appointment with NP, I requested a med that would calm my nerves to quit smoking. She put me on a med that basically makes you sleep. Called the office to speak with her about changing med approximately six times , didn’t receive a call back until three weeks later. She said she would have to call my cardiologist to see about changing meds, which she did not and then lied to me that she did and said to continue the sleep med. This has been a horrible experience dealing with this so called mental health place. Unprofessional, lacking in communication, along with lies. Would not send my animal here.
Emma Maze: The testing that I went in for was very basic for this field. It wasn't complicated, but they managed to drag it out in the most ridiculous fashion, gaslight me and recommend treatment that doesn't make a bit of sense for my diagnosis. When I arrived for the testing, the person administering the testing didn't show up. No big deal, I understand that that can happen. People have emergencies. I was stuck waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes longer than expected, but again, I get it things happen.I was promised that I would get the results of my test 3-4 weeks following the testing. Even told, that I could schedule an appointment with my primary care doctor around that time (I'm so glad I didn't.) At the end of the 4th week, I still had not even received a call to schedule the appointment to go over the testing. So I called the office, where they informed me that it would be another 6 weeks before I would be able to get my results. I asked for a refund because that was not at all what I signed up for, magically, I suddenly had an appointment for the next day. Fantastic. (I generally try to avoid creating a big fuss and asking for a refund, but for the amount I paid for these services, this was completely unacceptable, especially when they had told me they had the results.)The doctor that I spoke to was great, but she said the official report wouldn't be in until the following Monday, but she was going to be on vacation. She would make sure that it was sent after she got back. Again, I was totally okay with this, I understand that. The following Monday, I never received a report. So I waited until THURSDAY. I finally called and asked if I could get the report. I needed it to speak to my primary care doctor. The lady who I spoke to said she called me and left a message (she didn't) to confirm that I wanted it emailed (I had confirmed that with the doctor several times). I said I did, and she said she would send it over immediately. Guess what? Never received the report. She even confirmed my email address while I was on the phone with her.So I called on Friday. I asked to have the report sent. I sat on the phone with her while she sent it, and guess what! I suddenly got the report.Going over the report was disappointing because it showed a severe lack of understanding for my diagnosis. Overall I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone for anything. I wished I had read the other reviews before even considering this place.
C B: HIPPA VIOLATION RESULTING IN MALPRACTICE AND DELAY OF SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT.DO NOT RECOMMEND.I have what's considered debilitating mental illnesses. My former provider, Donna Merritt, managed my care exceptionally well and it took countless attempts and many years to find proper diagnosis, antidepressants and a bipolar disorder medication(s) that work, let alone work well, for me. I've tried over 20 different antidepressants over the years and it was rough, an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I don't remember which antidepressants, but most did not work but stil had side effects. I have now been struggling day after day for years on end with severe major depressive disorder and bipolar depression. I am in counseling and treatment again now, but an highly deterred from having to repeat the same noneffective treatments, with many direct side effects including suicidal ideations and manic episodes, over the span of several years. Unfortunately, I fear that's now the only way to kick this depressive state I've been in for over 5 YEARS now because Meridian Psychological Associates lost my entire chart!! ALL of my extremely private psychiatric records with information that could ruin my life in the wrong hands and the most critical information needed for my care, nowhere to be found, in storage or anywhere else. Office Manager left her position there and when inquiring my former provider's middle initial needed for filing a malpractice complaint, the lady told me she would ask her lawyer. I guided her in the direction of human resources for that basic information and she said "yeah I am human resources and you said you were filing a malpractice suit and I'll just let you talk to my lawyer." I informed her it is a complaint with the Department of Insurance and as the employer of licensed care providers, there shouldn't be any problem in checking your employment records and providing me with my provider's legal name as a licensed provider including a middle initial. Beyond their realm of capabilitie, and I guess there would be a problem though because they must not do record keeping either. I can honestly say I've not had anything destroy my quality of life, social life, work/career quite like what I've experienced over the years from not having the medical records they lost that I needed to get back into successful treatment. To get in the position I left off with that provider in again will take several years of therapy and medications and unnecessary expense. Perhaps she will need that lawyer after all if their settlement offer is anything like their bedside manners. Save yourself the trouble and just go someplace else!
Danielle Burtch: My experience with Meridian Psychological Associates was less than ideal. From my initial intake appointment in August of 2021, it took almost 4 months for my test to be administered, and another month and a half to receive my results. The process took almost 5 months to complete in total, thus creating more stress in my life and allowing more time to go without proper mental healthcare.During this time, I also received several different prices for how much my testing would be. I was told that my testing was pre-approved under my insurance, and then was told at my final evaluation that I would owe almost $1,000 out of pocket. I received about five different prices for how much I would owe, and was never given a call to explain my actual cost of testing. Calls were not returned promptly at all and business seems to have a lack of structure and organization. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking to receive mental health advocacy and results in a prompt and timely fashion.
Jake C: Waited 2.5 months to finally get tested. Waited another 2 months after that to get an in person result review - 2.5 weeks later still have no reports or tangible info for my doctors. $2,300 out of pocket and 4.5 months later still nothing. Would not recommend coming here to anyone
Doug Whitmer: I’ve called twice to schedule my initial intake and still haven’t received a call back from either call. I will be calling my PCP back for a different referral - and will let them know of my experience.
Matthias Beier: The therapists at MPA provide excellent, in-depth work for lasting, positive change. Highly recommended!
Ashley Maurer: Horrible horrible please do not go here. A waste of time and money!!!
adam davis: There’s inept, and there’s this place. What a disaster!!! The office is literally clueless about their jobs. They called my girlfriend, thought she was someone else and tried to get her scheduled as someone else. The doctor isn’t much better. I would rather stick in a microwave, than deal with these people.
Null Void: They have no idea on how to manage time or keep track of appointments. Waited 2 months for an appointment just to be told they needed to schedule another appointment a month away and when I showed up for that one, they had made an error with the schedule and was told it would be over a month before I could be seen again. It is unreasonable to expect me to wait a quarter of a year because they can't keep track of appointments.
Mindy Johnson: I don’t recommend. Time frames definitely got confused and misrepresented.
A C: I have not had a very good experience with this place. I have had appointment after appointment rescheduled by this office and I have called and called for results that took forever to finally get, once they were received and I ask for a referral for a place that is better suited for my needs, I then start getting snarky and condescending attitudes from the staff. I never received the referral that I was told would be sent to my preferred office of care. The other thing that makes no sense to me is, why would a psychological associates office not have an actual psychiatrist on staff to be able to provide medication management to the individuals that get testing there? Not only do they not provide psychiatric care by a psychiatrist but they don't even have a referral list for a patient that asks or is in need. I wouldn't come to this place for your testing because they can't further assist you after results are given?
Marlowe Pschorr: Been trying to pay a bill for weeks. The billing contact doesn’t return calls. Do not recommend this place at all since they clearly don’t have it together in billing which makes them a hassle to deal with.
Amanda Cath: These people will rip you off! Stay away!
Janet McDonald: This place is and was a blessing. Very good staff
GNAEVS ACCVSATOR: Staff and doctors are pleasant and very flexible.
