Libertine: what do users think?
Stephanie Reinhardt: Pros: Super cool place. The drinks were good.Cons: It took way to long to get drinks. Drinks were a bit overpriced
Joan Roark: Waiting for you to reopen! We are rooting for you...and look forward to seeing you all! ❣️
ben judkins: In town for the Fringe festival we found this cool downstairs bar that had interesting drinks and a cool vibe. It was my friends birthday that week so we decided to have a small group meet there Sunday night to surprise her. I called ahead 2 days in advance to make sure it was OK and was told they would love to have us. Fast forward to the night, when we got there, the only 2 employees had been told nothing about our group but seemed ready to deal with it. The bartender even asked me for a list of songs she'd like to hear, which blew me away.I was so sure the night would be epic.Within a half hour not only was the stellar customer service gone, they were outright rude to us. Also, they took individual drink orders and then when dropping off the drinks suddenly wouldn't hand them out without a credit card... Mind you, I had been there twice earlier in the week and was never asked to start a tab...So in review, this place has a great atmosphere and a cool vibe and good drinks. But need to figure out how to run a bar...
Cole Hart: If
Matthew Whitt: Amazing bar, drinks, and service!
Ali Danesh: I’m a huge fan of cocktail bars so this place caught our attention immediately. I enjoy the atmosphere with the bar being in the basement it gives off a speakeasy vibe. The menu is unique having inspirational quotes, along with distinctive drinks. Next time I come back to Indy I’ll be stopping by this great establishment!
Gretchen Szostak: The drinks were interesting, but tasted awful and the ambiance was reminiscent of a soulless, millennial dungeon.
Jeremy Garretson: Interesting place to grab a drink and meet new people.
Chloe Hill: great
sébastien payan: Angel's Envy Manhattan. Very good.
Jacob Darling: Awesome place to get a few drinks with friends
Kyle Royse: My favorite place to grab a cocktail in the city. Love this place
April: I have been coming here for about a year and am disappointed to say the quality has dropped dramatically. They seem to be understaffed with long wait times. The bathrooms were pretty gross with a toilet bowl cleaner thrown in the corner, dusty shelf, and stained chair. Overall it seems like they just aren’t properly maintaining things. Cracked booths and worn menus etc.
Lawaco Didier Toe: Place is a nice gateway, really enjoyable experience, big up to the wall dancer
Tapped By Teef: Second time coming here. This experience was way better than the last. Music was great. Very intimatechill setting.
Gav Peters: Loved this place. Having been to cocktail bars around the world, this place stands alongside the best. They slung me one of the top 5 drinks I’ve had in my life
Sean Geiger: Great drinks and friendly bar tenders
April Santiago: Cool atmosphere and strong whisky!
madison: Good stuff but pretty pricey
Matthew M: If the Old Fashioned is good, everything else will be good. The Old Fashioned is good y'all.
Cassandra Lynch: Cute bar. Very vintage vibe

Nicky Blaine's Cocktail Lounge: what do users think?
David V: This place is dope. Mark the bartender was really cool. He had great conversation and the place was a great end to a good NRA weekend.
Dup Scuva: My wife and I had appetizers and great cigars at this lounge. We arrived before 7pm and had many options for seating. We chose the comfortable leather sofa. This place has an amazing speakeasy vibe. If we stayed in Indianapolis, I could see us frequenting this spot. The dinks were amazing. The Kennedy 109 was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. The seafood stuffed portobello was tremendous.
Gabe Gordon: After paying a 5 dollar cover for an empty place in Indianapolis me and my friend had an old fashioned at the bar. We then asked for a couch to have a cigar. By the time we sat down the bartender had made his way across the room to play Johnny badass and tell us we made a comment about the waitress? We were drinking and while me and my friend talked back and forth there was absolutely no degratory comments about anyone. We were asked to leave which we did. We simply were sitting on a couch likely to about to spend 300 bucks on cigars and drinks. But ultimately the incompetent employees ruined that for us and Nicky Blaine’s. Considering it was a Friday night and the place was a dead. The owner may want to reevaluate who they hire.
Jon Weinkauf: Excellent atmosphere great staff and a place we often make a point to visit when we're in town.
Andrew Motz: Excellent place. Highly recommended cigar lounge
bruce goodnight: I have been to this establishment many times and have enjoyed myself just as many. When any issues have occurred they were resolved very quickly. The management has been great. Best cigar bar in Indy. Also amazing food and drinks!
Onyx Uzomah: Great vibes and great service! Our server was attentive and sincere with product suggestions. While it is a cigar lounge as well as bar, and some smoke smell is expected, it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, so either we went on a less busy day or their ventilation system is amazing.
Waylon Ford: Such a great little place!! At first going downstairs thought hmm. However it is like stepping back into the 40s and such a cool bar. Mike on Saturday was great and Mark on Sunday night was superb!! Hello from Texas!!
Wan L: Clean, friendly staff, and nice environment. 10/10
Gloria Mueller: Love the cocktails and atmosphere
Sean Daniels: Nicky Blaine’s never let’s me down. Comfortable seating. Great service and drink selection.
John Moore: Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to relax after dinner.
John S: I don’t go to a lot of cigar bars, mostly bc I like bringing my own cigars and I smoke at home. If I’m in Indianapolis, I make a point to go here. If you buy a bunch of drinks they’re fairly laid back on a bring your own cigar type policy (it’s nothing personal I’m sure they have good stuff I just have a collection at home). Their drinks were great and I love the atmosphere.A rare cigar bar you can bring a date to. Good place for a high end cocktail.
Christopher Newby: Perfect place to just be.
Kenan Alibegovic: Always a great experience at Nicky Blaine's. Between 15-20 food options to try out if you're hunger. Extensive martini/cocktail/liquor selection. And an absolutely massive cigar selection (would recommend looking up before coming to decide on a few choices), with cigars from all over the world. Just as a warning, place does smell like constant secondhand smoke, but I hope you'd realize that after seeing how many cigars they offer! Excellent experience, would highly recommend visiting if you're in downtown Indy by yourself, with a group, with a date, etc.!
Robert Mark Lewallen: First visiting and was quite impressed with the atmosphere and 60s vibe.Very well ventilated. Well worth the visit. Reasonably priced. As for the service our server Roxanne was awesome. Professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the cigars offerings. Made an awesome memory. Thanks Nicki Blaines.
Ms. Nakita D. Whyde: I would give a negative zero if I could . I can't believe how myself and my friend was treated last Sat night. I had been there once a couple years ago an had a great time with a younger aged group. I remembered the time an I had been telling my older friends that it was such a great spot. Smh no room fro all the details but after the host choose the area for us to sit and after 45m of no service in a empty lounge , we received water only and then when I flagged down someone an asked for a cigar an drinks , she had the nerve to waste her time an energy to come back to me an my friend and say some body told her we demanded to sit in the spot we were in. I couldn't even say anything. I do believe my friend and I were judged for me being younger an him older. I just told her that as far as customer service I can't believe you came over here to deliver that kind of message to us. And then we left . The door man was awesome tho. We tipped him on out way in an he was pleasant even before that. This replaced what used to be a great memory of this place with such a bad memory for me and for my friends first time experience. Neither one of us will be back
Mark McClelland: Legend
Gary Cummins: Here's what you need to know:For an upscale cocktail and cigar, do not miss this place.Wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the whole menu...which is such a welcome difference from other bars.
Laparys Jae: Great place to chill n enjoy the best drinks the best service the best smiles 😊 thanks Nicky! #WeloveBlaines
Moe Cizlak: Top notch cigar bar. Mike will take good care of you.

Plat 99: what do users think?
Bianca Gogel: I've always wanted to check out this place and was slightly disappointed. For a Saturday night it was quite dead, not a big deal because I'm not a fan of loud places. Found a spot at the bar, and the bartender was nice and quick. I will say the place could use a deep clean. It didn't smell pleasant and kept getting a whiff of something rotten. Also, many of the light bulbs were out and dusty.
richard haluska: Waited 15 minutes to get a drink. Then waited over an hour still no food. Watched the waitstaff let food sit for 10 minutes and never take it to table. Watched customers ask for coffee up to 3 times without getting any. No one is in charge. Food was taken to wrong tables. There were only 20 customers. Watched several people walk out. After no food and waiting 50 minutes. Watching several others get served and wait staff wondering why people didn't tip on the $4 cup of black coffee about a 10 oz cup. After asking 3 times. Only got 1 star because zero wasn't available.
Jonathan Bryant: Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were ok but limited on brands and food. Not much on the menu and took a bit. But a good place of you are staying in the hotel.
Dick Bigger: Always have a great time at Alexander
Jacob Bower-Bir: The atmosphere seems inviting from the outside, and it's for a lot going for it in terms of ambiance, but it never really stops feeling like a hotel bar. The service tonight I was there was adequate, and the cocktails were unremarkable.
Vicki Body by Vicki: Amazing drinks and a nice atmosphere with views!
J.R. Smith: My first repose when looking at these reviews was "4.4 stars, you gotta be $#!++ing me." We stopped in on the way to our room after an event at Lucas Oil (Saturday night) to use our 2 complimentary drink tickets for staying at the hotel. It took 20+ minutes to get served at the bar. 1 bar tender on each side, with 1 guy bussing. The bar was full of people, as so was the seating area surrounding the bar. Poorly managed in my opinion. Saturday night, downtown Indy, Lucas Oil event, the should have had bar tenders on each corner. Would have benefited the customers, as well as the pockets of the bar owners and staff. For a premierly priced bar to only have 1 drink well, at the end where she is secluded from the customers, is a bit absurd. The bar tender also kept her bottle opener at the well, yet the beer coolers are located throughout the bar, so she would need to continually run to the well to open the bottles... poor layout. To top it off, our order of a screwdriver with titos was made with pineapple juice... the washes were kept in similar looking bottles in the well, so I'm assuming the bar tendering couldnt easily identify the different juices. Next time we'll just forego that experience and spend the extra time to walk, and go somewhere else for a night cap.
jason crouch: I did not like the back bar. Could not see many options.
Janel Cole: Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a great time hanging out.
John Brumleve: Make sure you Plat your a** on a comfy seat because you'll be waiting a while!! With no more than five other customers in the bar it still took longer than 45 minutes after ordering to get food. Probably longer but we had to cancel the order to make an event. Budget 25 minutes for one round of drinks, and frankly 2 hrs for food. Absolutely no sense of urgency or care from staff.
Matt Panfil: Used to love Plat99, but last night went out for a drink for my wife's birthday, and we waited for 45 minutes and finally just left. The bartender told us he'd be with us, then served everyone that came in after. Felt weirdly targeted, also he was super unfriendly and insanely slow.
Brian Hall: Great popcorn
Ryan Geiger: Bartender was inept.
Jay Grieves: A perfectly serviceable hotel bar. They are sometimes staffed such that there's no table service, but it's a small place, so that's not too much of a problem. The small bites aren't great, but if you need something to nibble on, the grilled cheese is pretty good and, indeed, small. If Nesso, the hotel restaurant downstairs, is open, you probably want to go to their bar instead.
Jacob Canada: Drinks were tasty and the staff was awesome
Monica Allen: The servers are great and the atmosphere is very mellowed out.
Summer Blouin: Fun hotel bar. Outdoor balcony. Good drinks. I got a hummingbird. Get the plantains!
Johnny Dangerous: Terrible service. Took 40 mins to get a drink. Bartenders were rude to not only us but to the waitress serving us. Charcuterie board wasn't good and it came with no crackers or silverware. On top of all that everything on the menu is overpriced. This was a Sunday after a Colts game before the Post Malone concert.
William Cherry: Clean and very artsy. Love all the art and the staff are so nice. Convenient to anything you wanna do downtown.
John Bock: The bar manager was great and the bar decor was amazing.
Jacob Hatcher: This used to be one of my favorite places to visit pre-pandemic. They had an extensive craft cocktail menu and always offered truffle popcorn. The service was impeccable and it was the perfect place to have a date night or catch up with friends. We stopped by this evening around 10pm (they are open until 12 on Saturday night) and the place felt like it had been forgotten about. The outside fire pits were off, tables put up, and couch cushions stained. No one greeted us when we came in and had to flag someone down to take our order after waiting for a while. The waitress definitely gave off the impression that we were bothering her by being there. We weren’t offered popcorn and they were closing and cleaning like it was past close, when they were open for another 2 hours. It definitely felt like they didn’t want customers to be there. The drink menu was pitiful and premade. In visits past it was a craft cocktail bar and they took pride in the drinks they served. We had the Platt 99 punch and it was awful. The server left for the night and just left her tables without saying a word; we had to find someone to pay our bill. It was disappointing returning after the pandemic to find this place in such disarray. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Bar One Fourteen: what do users think?
usafradium: Dark, Loud, Asian twist on food. Incredible. This spot feels like you are in an ultra hip NYC secret eatery. Great place is you are looking for a venue where it sets a mood and the atmosphere provides a talking point. The burger is literally the best burger I've ever eaten in my life, which was completely unexpected. (nor do I normally order a burger at finer restaurants).
Lainey B: Great experience. Good cocktails. I liked they played vinyl music. You definitely need reservations to get a table. Baked alaska was delicious.
James Pawlish: Honestly, probably one of the worse dinning experiences I’ve ever had. This place tries to promote itself as ‘fine dining’, but it’s the furthest thing from it. Having lived in San Francisco for 14 years, I’m well aware of what quality food should be… and this definitely isn’t it!Speaking of food… it was mediocre at best. Also, the drinks were some of the nastiest I’ve had — straight toilet water.Because of the ridiculous 2hr ‘experience’ time limit and our prefix meal being a let down, my wife and I decided to get the $32 burger to go (we live just a few blocks away). Well, that was a mistake. The burger was one of the saddest we’ve had (how can you mess up a burger?!) Oddly enough, the owners of this restaurant also run Aplocolypse Burger across the street, which has tastier food for a fraction of the price. The only redeeming thing about Bar One Fourteen is its music selection and vinyl collection. Otherwise, it’s meh!If you want quality food and fantastic drinks, go to Bluebeard or Kan Kan.
Laura Gadberry: This was probably the most pretentious restaurant I have ever been too. Maybe our group just didn't "get it". Was the food good? Yes. Was it wildly overpriced for tiny portions? Yes. Will I be coming back? Also yes, for the mere fact that the fancy AF burger was the best burger I've ever had. Get drinks next door at Napolese (they are cheaper and better). Go to Bar One Fourteen for the burger and sourdough bread.Needless to say, we had a good time poking fun at the whole experience. We were in way over our heads for what this was. And dropped wayyyyyyy too much money to be hungry 2 hours later.Go for the burger, sourdough, and the interesting experience of eating in a small, dark, and very loud room.
Jim Templeton: Great ambiance with phenomenal drinks. We didn't have any problems with our service or our food. The bar reminded me of "speak easys" found in NYC.
Steve Stallings: The ambiance is very cool. It is quite loud, as a warning. They absolutely blasted Jimi Hendrix while we were there. Meh.The drinks were very tasty. Our server was really awesome - and visibly stressed. The food I truly thought was average. We ordered five items, per the servers suggestion, and honestly didn’t think any of the food was good. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff! $$$$
T. Morgenroth: I went to Bar One Fourteen with my partner for our anniversary celebration. I was excited but also slightly worried given some of the reviews I had read about food not arriving before being kicked out or the music being way too loud. My worries were unfounded - it was an amazing experience! The place has a speakeasy-type vibe with blacked out windows and a limited number of tables. The light primarily comes from candles on each table (ours had RBG on it - great choice), making the atmosphere very romantic. The music was loud, but not too loud to have a conversation. When we were there, it started with a German band I wasn't familiar with, followed by a Franz Ferdinant-sounding band, followed by ABBA. I liked all their choices of music and none of them were too "out there."We were greeted with a free tiny cocktail, served warm in little tea cups. I then ordered the "corn field" cocktail, which I absolutely loved. It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice smoky aftertaste. My partner had the fermented highball. It was interesting, but so strong that she could not finish it within the two hours. I later ordered the sansho coconut punch, which I also really enjoyed. Because it was our anniversary, they also brought us some prosecco, which we of course very much appreciated. The food was phenomenal. I did not think I would be able to get food like this in Indy. Our favorite dish was the yuzu scallops. They tasted so fresh and the balance of flavors was excellent. It didn't even really need the dipping sauce they brought. If anything, I felt like the sauce overshadowed the delicate flavors of the scallop. The scallops were followed by the beef taco. While we enjoyed this dish, too, we both felt like it was slightly too salty - but again, excellent flavors otherwise. The sourdough bread with butter (I think maybe seaweed butter?) was also amazing. As a German, I miss good bread since moving to the US so having some excellent, warm bread was great. The bread had a great crust and wasn't sweet like American bread often is. We also shared the koji aged beef. It's pretty pricey, but definitely worth it! I love the flavor koji brings to food but I had never had koji-marinared beef. It completey transformed the flavor into something magical I had never tasted before. The meat was incredibly tender, too. Lastly, we had the baked alaska dessert. Again, perfect balance of flavors - sweet and salty and the perfect finish to an amazing meal. The service was also excellent. Our server was very attentive. For example, she brought a new bottle of water immediately when we finished the previous one and when I was close to finishing my cocktail, she brought over the cocktail menu and put it on the table without interrupting our conversation. When we wanted to add something to the order, it was easy to get her attention. She also did a great job talking us through the cocktail and food menu and giving recommendations. I know some of the other reviews mention that service is very slow, but that was not our experience. We had two rounds of drinks (+the free prosecco) and five courses of food and were still finished within the two hours window without feeling rushed. The food came out at a really good pace. All in all an amazing experience. I'm kind of glad I don't live in Indy because I would spend all of my money at this place. I can't wait to go back.
Robbi Zirkelbach: We attended on a Saturday night and had a nice time until the end.  My only complaint is there should have been 2 servers and not one.  Our server was amazing and one of the best servers I’ve had. She was hustling and moving so quick and it is unrealistic for management to believe that one server is sufficient for adequate prompt service. We had to wait for our drinks several times and if we needed something it would be a while before she could make it back to our table.  I don’t mind waiting and am very patient, but when my second drink came I didn’t get to sip and enjoy because of your 2 hour limit and we were being rushed out of there.  My guest with me didn’t get her first drink she ordered until after the food started arriving.  I nice enjoyable time ended with a stressful exit and chugging my martini.  The issue isn’t the two hour limit they strictly enforce….. it is understaffing.  Our server was amazing!!
Benjamin Doughan: We went to bar one fourteen on a Saturday night in October. Our first time there and it was great. This was the second best dining experience we have had in Indianapolis. The experience is a unique one, you sit at a table for two hours (tight) fashioned after Japanese listening rooms. The room is dark and the music is loud but not overbearing. Great music selection for our taste. Ambience is perfect for the design they are shooting for with art and records that fit. Only critique is the window wall we were next to it would be nice it they did something with that at some point in the future. The drinks we had were exceptional. They start you with a welcome drink and cup of secretly spicy Chex mix things. Both great. After that you can pick your price range but everything we had was great. The old fashioned I had was the best one in Indianapolis. They had a mezcal drink that was citrus and fresh flavored, I was told the gun drinks were unique and great. For food we did an all appetizer run. Started with the caviar. It was plated with crème fresh on a mirrored plate with a credit card to cut your lines. The caviar was excellent, I think some of the best we have had.Next was a sour dough course. The bread was good but the pairing for us it was not well suited for our taste, bland and we could not figure out what they were going for. This was the only low point of the night.Next we had tacos. I think it was a Japanese beef and caviar taco. This was served on a air puffed shell. Amazing taste and original concept. The last course was a citric scallops course with dipping sauce. The scallops were perfect. Absolutely the best in Indy. The service was also top notch. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and added to the experience. Our bill was obviously high because of the caviar run but totally worth it. They added gratuity to the bill which we appreciated for the servers and cannot wait to come back.
Jesse Renihan: This was truly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. I never leave reviews, but I was so underwhelmed by this experience that I feel compelled to issue a warning to anyone that might want to go here. This is, without a doubt, some of the worst service I’ve ever had. We were brought in to a cool atmosphere behind a locked door, brought to a table, and that’s about where the good experiences ended. We ordered drinks, which took about 20 minutes to get out (okay, sure, i get it) and then didn’t see our server again for a whole hour. Various staff members proceeded to bring out our food while the one service member ran around feverishly for the other 10 guests in the room. We sat with empty drink glasses for a solid 40 minutes before flagging down someone else for assistance, and then about an hour and 20 minutes in our server stopped by for the 3rd time and said we were “nearing the end of our experience” or something along those lines and then proceeded to drop the check and inform us an 18% gratuity had been added. I am normally tipping in the 25-30% range because I come from a service background and appreciate the service arts, but after spending 230 dollars on this experience I was so far from impressed with the way everything is as handled that 18% felt like legitimate robbery. The food was pretty good, and that was the one redeeming quality.Save your money and go to Applebees or something.
Chelsea B (Beautii): Absolutely amazing
Dehvokhan Lenan: Absolutely impeccable lounge! The service was fantastic, and the menu featured some truly fascinating creations. I’ll be here again!
Wade Cunningham: Our experience was a caricature of a faux fine dining evening, almost worthy of an SNL skit. After being told I was not allowed to use my phone to read the menu “we don’t allow flash photography, it’s dangerous for my sensory experience” - that’s a quote from our server. To our main course not being delivered within the 2 hours you are allowed to stay seated at their table “let me check on that” (it never came) . and when we asked for water we were told that “I asked my manager and I was advised that I’m not a permitted to leave water on the table for you”. The worst part is, the staff genuinely thought they were doing something special.
Drew Daudelin: honestly not dark or loud enough
Matthew Krach: One of the many issues I had with this establishment were the "votive candles" on every table, which replaced icon images of Christ and Mary with celebrities and politicians. While this might seem humorous to the patrons or owners, it's actually highly insulting to Catholics, Orthodox, and anyone who calls themselves Christian. Replacing what Christians consider sacred with other images is mockery. The double standard is that if the same thing was done with an image of the Prophet Mohammad, there would be justifiable outrage, as that would also be an offense against that which Muslims hold sacred. There were many other off-putting things here (check other reviews) but I just wanted to emphasize this aspect that was disappointing.
Cody Donald: Rude staff. Wouldn’t recommend.
Peter Blitz: Cute settings and good music
Mary Ellen Straughn: I’ve never experience a restaurant quite like this before. Our reservation was at 7:15 pm. The windows and doors are all blacked out so it’s easy to pass by the place entirely. Inside, the interior has very subdued lighting which takes awhile to adjust to. We were told by our waiter that the lights get dimmer as the evening progresses and sure enough, about an hour into our meal, the lights dimmed again. Although each table has a candle, it was hard to read the menu without the aid of light from our phones. The music is loud on purpose with an excellent sound system and an eclectic selection of music. This is not a place for conversing. It’s more about the experience of eating and enjoying food that is served on small plates. We shared a burger and lobster roll as our main entree’s and a round of caviar for an appetizer. All the food was excellent. It was an interesting eating experience when you can’t see your food well and forces you to focus on the taste. I would recommend this restaurant to others, but be prepared for the unusual ambiance.
David Browning: Great cocktails and music
Emily G: Music 💯
Cassandra Mercedes Broadwater: Contrary to almost all of the other reviews, my boyfriend and I didn’t like this place at all. In fact, we left before we even ordered. It was so incredibly loud. I couldn’t hear him across the table to talk. The music was good but it was way too much. Then, there were these off putting cards on our place settings. It was strange and made us feel really uncomfortable. What little service we did have was great though. We went next door to Napolese to eat and our waiter arranged that for us which was so kind.Anyways, I wish I would have known it was that type of place before hand and it may not have been as bad of an experience.

JesusTheGym&Them with Joi Edwards: I love and take joy in writing positive reviews but what happened today was NOT ok.Today, my party that made separate reservations for 14 people at 4pm arrived at the restaurant which opens at 4pm. Our reservations were made for separate tables, which we expected. I was so excited as I was looking forward to trying Northside Social for the first time.We had out of town guests as well.Peacefully but disturbed, we left the restaurant because the manager, Nathan, would not allow us to have one extra chair in a completely EMPTY restaurant in order to seat one more. His argument was that his next reservation was in an hour and a half and he would need the chair. Not to mention most, if not all, establishments keep extra chairs in back.Again we were the only (15) patrons in the ENTIRE restaurant for the next hour and 1/2. We did not ask for an extra table, an extra booth or to rearranged anything, simply to add an additional chair to ANY of our nearby tables. He was unwilling to accommodate ONE chair in a completely EMPTY restaurant and it was extremely disturbing. I wasn't sure if I was in the twilights zone or the 1950's Deep South. We must do better. What an extremely disappointing experience.@Owner: You were not there. But we were. You should do more to make it right as oppose to justifying denying your PRESENT customers one chair. We only asked to pull up a chair for one person in a completely EMPTY dining room. There weren't several extra guests. And again, we didn't ask to be at one table. We were fine with our reservations. Please do better.
Margaret King Brewer: Extremely disappointed in not being able to celebrate and enjoy dinner with my friends at this restaurant. HORRIBLE Customer Service!!!After arriving, having a reservation for 14, and being seated, the last member of our party arrived. We incorrectly counted and now our party increased to 15. We requested a chair be added to our table. We were told by Nathan, the manager, that there were no other chairs available. Even though we were the ONLY customers in the restaurant besides a couple of people at the bar. The ENTIRE restaurant was EMPTY!! A suggested solution was that our 1 friend eat at the bar. This was an unacceptable solution. We suggested a couple of solutions, to no avail. There were no options, per the manager, other than 1 person of our party going to the bar to eat. Wait....what??????Out of the many restaurants in the past 20 years where my friends and I have dined together, we have never experienced a manager who seemed to care less, literally!!!The lack of concern or desire to come up with a solution was astounding!! He seemed to be PERFECTLY fine with 15 people leaving the restaurant unhappy and without spending any money at the restaurant.Needless to say, all 15 of us left. I will never return to this establishment, nor will I EVER recommend it to anyone.Don't be like Nathan!!p.s. We went to another restaurant and had a most wonderful dinner celebration!

Luke Stark: It's a bit dark, but that's probably good for the ambiance. The meatballs were an amazing appetizer. I loved the braised brisket with mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots. Delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
David Cartagenas: The atmosphere is great with outside seating if you are in the mood for it. It did get pretty pack during peak dinner hours. Crowed was mostly only the older side with a few young families.Service was good. Our server Alex B. gave honest recommendations. Checked in on appropriate times and was very friendly. Not sure how they handle section assignments but when it got busy saw him running outside to inside which slowed him down in the end when we were ready for the check.Started with some drinks and tried the spicy watermelon which tasted really close to the Mexican candy rebanaditas. The Tropical mule was pretty aromatic. The wedge salad was okay, it was drenched in dressing which made it a bit much. The balsamic flavor came from the tomatoes, which was a nice touch.I had the chef special which was a pre cut ribeye cooked medium with three dipping sauces. It was good but doesn't quite match the price. Also tried the brisket which was decent, the description alluded to something else but it's just a pot roast. The most disappointing part was the chocolate bread pudding. Super dry and had hardly any flavor.Overall it was just average. The food is good, it just doesn't quite match the price point.
Doug Collins: Seems when you have a nice place with a cool vibe it ends up being too loud. This is our new go-to for date night as it was a goldilocks experience. The food, atmosphere and service were just right!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Fun spot with a comfortable atmosphere and awesome cocktails.Started with the wedge salad (no croutons), the balsamic tomatoes were at peak ripeness. The tomatoes paired well with the crisp iceburg lettuce and creamy bite of the horseradish blue cheese dressing.I ordered the nook pizza on gluten-free crust and it was phenomenal. I took 1/2 home and it was equally delicious when eaten cold the next day. Here's the deal, 90% of gluten-free pizza is under cooked. The bottom of the crust never gets toasted. Not this crust, it was perfectly crisp. On to the toppings, the onions complimented the fennel in the sausage. Then there are the wine mushrooms... these meaty fungi were flavor bombs. Great balance between the texture and seasoning. It's very unusual to have a pizza wow me. This one had it all, each topping added complexity without stealing the show. 10/10 would nosh again!Hubs got the fried chicken with green beans, mac and cheese. Enjoyed a nibble on the beans, also perfectly cooked and seasoned.All-in-all everything from service to food was on point. Can't wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free modifications
Michael Arnett: Thus is our “go to” place for special occasions, and we’ve yet to have an experience that was not perfect!
Charles Kennedy: Amazing restaurant. Very nice environment, located in Broad Ripple, and the food is loaded with tons of flavor. One of my new favorite restaurants!
sherrie breedlove: Love this place.Great drinks and food
Ryan Denoon: Awesome food! Friendly staff and great experience!
Josh: Very good food, friendly staff. Had crab dip and calamari steak fries for apps. Wedge Salad was ok. Meatball Fettuccine was really good. Came with 4 large meatballs. Half price bottle wine on Wednesday!!
George Furman: Very nice place. Great service and food.
Tanisha Kline: Good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great place to have drinks with friends.
Ben Houle: Good was decent. Salads were fresh abd decent size. Cocktail was very good (Lemon Shakeup), but the Calamari was not great. The concept of them being so thick was not great and the sauce was a bad chipotle mayo.

Tappers Arcade Bar: what do users think?
Brian Beaman: Retro games for free?? Omg. Sign me up. Love it so much
JustFollow Kenya (Mswhatleysworld): Great bar with 2 1/2 rooms of arcade games. Buy a drink to play. Located in fountain Square downtown Indianapolis.
Adam Scroggin: If you like old school arcade games and wanna try to beat me at MK II, come find me. I’ll finish you no problem. Kitana wins. Fatality
George Wright: Edit: regrettably I must revoke my previous review. I'm not sure if he's a new manager, but Adrian absolutely ruined tappers as a whole. We won't be back for crawls or events until something changes.
Dana Bushman: Please address the racial profiling that occurred from a manager, Adrian Bledsoe. He incorrectly accused a customer of tagging the restroom with no proof and said "everyone has prejudice" when the customers expressed their concerns of racial profiling. That's unacceptable. He needs to be terminated and all employees need diversity and inclusion training.
Daniela Leyva: Tappers used to be good but Adrian Bledsoe wants to racially profile its customers… TRASHHH.
Ulysses S: Adrian Bledsoe racially profiled my sister’s boyfriend, accusing him of “tagging” the bathroom stalls. He’s a grown man. He doesn’t do that. And he’s been a patron of this establishment for quite some time, a real regular. I recommend you look elsewhere. Indy has plenty of bars that don’t have these issues in 2023. Tappers Arcade should fire this manager.
Brad Urban: Love this place!
Jacqueline Davis: Can't win what a joke
Travis Vallejo: Very fun atmosphere with good beer! They have a great selection of pinball games plus all the classic games are FREE! Really hard to not have a good time at this unique arcade bar in Indy.
Robert E: Fun times here.
Ben Dailey: This place is *still great.Edit: Added still
Devin Moran: My friends and I go here all the time! Great environment to be in, staff is great!
Taylor Fuller: Get your game on retro style.
Chris H: Been going since they opened. Amazing place, even better since the expansion and addition to pinball machines!
Michelle Albright: Blast from the past good time!!
JC English: Places like this provide so many memorable and fun nights. Please support this incredible local business!
Netra Faeborn: This is the best barchade in the city with a pretty good drink, selection, and a lot of fun tournaments and events as well
Home, sweet Home: best bar in indy hands down. Full of activities and a great way to bond with friends!!!
Chris Owens: Wide variety of beers at reasonable prices. Machines were clean and operable except for only one machine. In this industry that's a very good ratio
Joshua Ohmer: Good variety of brews on tap. Game all you want.

BODHI : Craft Bar + Thai Bistro: what do users think?
Bill Bailey: Patio much quieter than dining room.
A R: Had the worst experience with parking. The man with rose tinted glasses cussed me out about parking me and one other MAN patron were trying to leave and he got in my face. Very misogynist, but was talking to the other men patrons about the situation but I am am women and called me CRAZY and got in my face, but talked the other men surrounding me in a level headed tone. Very misogynistic.
J H.: My expectations of Bodhi were high based on the reviews, however, our party did not have a great experience because they were eager to get us out. Despite having several open tables and seats at the bar, the staff did not cease to remind us that we needed to leave, even though we were not close to our allotted time. I was expecting a much better experience. I will not be returning or recommending Bohdi to others. I do think that the chefs are doing a great job, as the food tasted great and the presentation was awesome.
Shane Weinbrecht: Wonderful staff. Andrew is amazing. Food is always on point. Be aware (not beware) that there is a 1.5 hour loose time 'limit' due to limited seating and such a popular destination. We have never felt rushed.
Nina Pinger: One of the FINEST places in Indianapolis to get vegan food! Every dish was super flavorful and complex. The design of the restaurant provides a private and scenic environment (sounds cheesy but it’s true, it’s so pretty in there). A bonus, the staff could not be more kind and helpful. Needless to say I will be looking forward to my next trip to BODHI!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Anne Hultgren: Very tasty. Small space so be careful of busy times. It is spicy, but if you are a spicy fan don't let them talk you into mild. Go with 3 chilis. Lots of heat, no pain. If you are not a spicy fan, look for options served mild.Craft bar is also a plus.
Dillon Etter: Seriously the best thai food you will ever have. And amazing interior and patio spaces. Cocktails are 15/10. Just go.
Hannah D.: Came to Bodhi to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I will start off by saying that the food and drinks are superb. Probably the best Thai food I have had in Indianapolis. Now… Our server, Kyle P. I do not know what happened in between ordering our drinks and food but our waiter was at first nice and then became ***extremely*** rude. After giving us our food he left and left for the rest of the night lol. Did not come back to ask if we wanted another cocktail, more water (which we were out of), or even dessert. He kept walking to the front of the building and walking straight back into the kitchen. He wasn’t just ignoring our table, he was ignoring multiple tables as well. The person I was with literally had to flag him down to get to-go boxes. He grabbed the boxes then plopped them on our table and left again. And again the person I was with had to flag him down and ask for the bill. He then shoved the card reader in her face. She asked for the physical bill because the screen just read the total. He walked away and thankful came back with it but walked away again right after that!! The third time she again had to flag him down just to give him her card and he literally said “Does the bill now look right to you?” in a snarky voice and shoved the card reader in her face and stuck his arm completely across me. I do not know why he couldn’t have handed her the card reader like a normal person. It was so hostile and rude for no reason. She asked for the final bill with the tip on it and he ignored her and walked away. We ended up having to ask the hostess and another server to bring her the final bill. His attitude was absolutely atrocious. I think anyone understands having a bad night at work, but my God, this was terrible. I am not sure I will be back to dine in, I will probably just order take out from now on since I enjoyed the food so much!
Michelle Bann: Bodhi is amazing! The wait is a little long since they don't take reservations but worth it! Food is fresh and delicious. Drinks are strong. The team is great there too! Especially Marco! He is so welcoming when you arrive and has great energy. Will definitely be back!
Barret Barlow: Hope it was a one off! Had a super rude experience. Came in on Friday night they put our name on a list; we were expecting there would be a wait. Asked where the best place to order a drink while waiting. They explained that our name was so far down the list we were better off going somewhere else for drink. Meanwhile we had stood there for quite a while and nobody came to fill their ten open seats. We no longer live in Indianapolis, and this was a place that we supported through most of Covid. This is such a let down.
Molly McCurdy: Food and drinks were incredible, lovely vibes inside the restaurant, was totally worth the wait! 10/10!
Emma LeMasters: Best Thai in Indy. We love the lemongrass & coconut soups, drunken noodles, sweet & sour stir fry, and panang curry. Cocktails are fantastic as well. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu!
Uncle Burt: Too busy to even order a beer. Sat at bar for five minutes and was ignored by two bartenders. Great place for posers.
Stephen Black: Delicious food. Contemporary and cozy environment. Friendly and professional staff.
Ramiro Robles: The only thing better than the food here are the creative drinks. It’s a fun atmosphere here with a beautiful bar. The staff is very friendly and can provide great suggestions if you are awestruck at the menu. It can be hard to find a seat but it’s very worth it!
Eamonn McCann: We came for cocktails, they were superb! The aroma smelled delicious, we'll need to come back for dinner!
Courtney: The food, drinks, ambiance, staff, and overall experience: 10/10Tons of phenomenal vegan options too!
G Vorase: Everything about this place is gorgeous. Food, service, cocktails absolutely fire 🔥 Definitely recommend everyone!!
Kevin Lacy: Best Thai Food I have ever had. Great vibe Great Food
Nicole Lloyd: absolutely delicious... celebrated my birthday there and going again this week.
U C: Our service was amazing! Our waiter was knowledgeable and fun to be around. Cocktails were like nothing I've ever had. They had original ingredients and were really great. Food was matched the atmosphere and service. Chalk this up as one of my favorites.

Thunderbird: what do users think?
Ian SerVaas: Goodnight Thunderbird. You hold a special place in my heart. You will be so sincerely missed.
Ali Jr: Great drinks, and karaoke on Thursday’s. It’s a nice time here.
Erin Barr: Just fantastic cocktails. Unique and thoughtful.
Sean Herbold: This is a great spot. Coola space. Good drinks. Amazing food. The menu is small but the food is outstanding. Deviled Eggs FTW! Service is average.
Amanda Bundy: Delicious food!! We ordered the Classic Chicken Sando with a side of fries (huge portion!) and the Cool Ranch Dorit"O" Rings. Everything came hot and fresh.Service was friendly and ambiance was great. We sat in the bar so the pictures aren't great, but shaded outdoor seating is also available. To drink I had the "All Screwed Up," served in a styrofoam cup and garnished with jolly ranchers. He got their "Glass Slipper" long island. Will definitely be back!
Nicole Leonard: Stopped in for drinks and dinner. Decided to get a few small plates and share them. The craft cocktails are as delicious as they are beautiful. The food was pretty good...ran into some issues with their homemade chicken nuggets. The first batch was absolutely stone cold in the center. Unfortunately, they seemed a bit understaffed, so I had to bring this to the bartender's attention. They apologized and made it right with a new order that was done right. :) If I went back, it would be for the drinks. Priced right and absolutely delicious.
Kaden Fitzgerald: A good quiet place to grab and drink and catch up with a friend. This place has culture to it and the the vibe is chill. It also has an old time feel to it. The drinks are great!
Michael Feketik: Bar was actually pretty cool, the staff on the other hand are pretty slow.. simply ordering a beer will be at least 15 to 20 minutes long.. so plan accordingly. Food is not too bad, but maybe for the crowd little more simple options.. all in all, great bar but the owner needs to address the quickness of the service
Nash Poteet: Awesome Bar, great food and service, Karaoke on Thursdays is a Blast
Elliot Zans: They seem to have changed their menu again, way more food options. We just had cocktails, the Saturn is delightful as per usual.
Chad Strauch: Fantabulous
Ashley Macy: Alison is the best! You’ve got to stop in and see her!
Medina: Nice drinks and sweet workers. Would recommend for out of towners.
Tim Baker: Really good old-fashioned. Sweet decor and awesome bartender! Come visit us sometime at the Scottish Thistle in Piqua, Ohio!
Clare Cashen: Good cocktails
V Mason: Great place! Our server was amazing and so attentive. Drinks were AMAZING!
Jacob Bower-Bir: Most of the time, it's the best cocktail bar in Indy. Every now and then, the regularly rotating drink menu misses the mark. As for food, the chicken sandwich isn't what it used to be but it's still very good. The rest of the menu is a overpriced. Nonetheless, the atmosphere and staff make the venue well worth a visit (and return visits).
Jade Duguay: This is one of my favorite places in Indy. The food is great, the drinks are delicious! Southern comfort food with their own twist, I've never been disappointed!
Meg D: I’d give 0 stars if I could. A couple friends and myself tried this place because it was the only restaurant in Fountain Square without a wait, but we now know why! First off, when our food came, my main entree (wings special) was missing. He didn’t even realize until I said so. I’ve been a server and it was obvious he forgot to put it in as part of the order. But I was patient, as I know how it is, but they rushed the cooking and preparing. Took about another 10 mins after that for my wings to arrive. I cut into one and it seemed a little raw. My friend asked if they were smoked and maybe that’s why the pinkish color, server said “yeah I think so”. The lighting in the place made it hard to tell, so I went ahead and nibbled a bit off. Luckily it was a very meatless wing so I didn’t get much. Started on the second one and it clearly was bloody and raw! We used our phone flashlights to look and were completely disgusted!! It is NOT OK to serve raw chicken to people!! We called server over, he took them back to the kitchen and even came back to tell us that the cook doesn’t like to admit when he messes food up. He said they’d take it off the bill, and I basically said I want my whole meal taken off. I ate my Mac n Cheese, and drank my $10 cocktail. They’re lucky I don’t report them to the board of health. Further, my friend had the $22 steak sandwich and ate half because it was pretty disgusting. I will never go back here and I will definitely NOT recommend to anyone! Gross.
Elijah Shelton: The bar it's self is very cool and attracts the hipster crowd. It's for some but other may not not enjoy the crowd. More importantly the bartender was extremely slow and moved without any real sense of urgency. When we finally got our drinks they were horrible. I mean bad. We quickly left after being served. Not a great experience for me overall.
Jen Anderson: Tyler is a master at his craft. Absoluty love his creations and attention to detail. He 'got you'.
