Olivia Kepler (Liv): I have been attending weekly therapy sessions with Joel for a year and some change now, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Joel welcomed me to this practice and helped me to feel comfortable talking about difficult subjects, even in our first meeting. Not only is he an amazing therapist who always has a handout ready and/or information/resources regarding a certain topic available, he gives educated “lessons” and advice, drawing various outlines on his whiteboard that puts the information into perspective and allow the patient to fully grasp specific concepts. As someone who values the science behind a concept, Joel takes the time to help me understand the psychology and reasonings behind why I do what I do. I feel heard and supported during each session with Joel.Crystal, the office manager, is so prompt, professional, caring, and just, a very great person. She always has my papers printed off for me to collect before my sessions and replies quickly to my questions on the scheduling application they use.Overall, my experience here has been phenomenal. 10/10.

I have never had a therapist that works as diligently to help make sure you feel like you’re getting the help you need, and not judge you when some tough things come up! He had helped me tremendously to start my healing journey, even if that means I have a session of smiles or cries, it’s always nice to be provided recourses to help cope with your current situation!!Maggie- who works in the reception department, is definitely a big part of the hospitality, courtesy and compassion at Indy Therapy and Counseling. She reaches out when needed and has done extra tasks in order to help me! She is very professional and is prompt in returning calls!! She is also always very sweet!!!They go out of their way to accommodate patients and help them to become successful inside and outside of their clinic! This is why I DO NOT mind paying out of pocket, trust me, their services are one of a kind!!

It can be difficult to find a therapist you mesh well with and Joel was definitely a godsend. This office was good about booking, prompt on notification of payment receipts and appointment reminders. Maggie at reception is wonderful—she’s sweet, compassionate and does her job very well. The office is conveniently located on 135, adjacent to a quiet residential neighborhood. The lobby area is clean, aesthetically pleasing and probably has more coffee than my local Starbucks. I can’t recommend Indy Therapy and Counseling enough. If you’re on the fence about trying this out, go for it. It’s time to take care of yourself.

Jack Foth: We are going on 6 weeks since our son's autism assessment. We have called numerous time and have been given nothing but excuses as to why we can't get our assessment results. We were told 2 weeks. Then 2-4 weeks. Now we're are being put on hold to transfered to different voice-mails with no response. Our son needs these results before he can start any ABA therapy or occupational therapy but no one at this company seems to care. I WILL NEVER recommend this facility to anyone who needs real help for an autistic child.

My kid warmed up to her quickly and looks forward to our appointments.Every interaction I've had here has been pleasant. I can't speak for everyone, but I cannot find any complaints. It's a clean facility, the air smells good, and friendly staff.

Mel Osborne: Counselor is amazing but no one in the office ever answers the phone and the recording says they will return your call in 24 hours. The last time I called and left a message, no one ever called back. I placed a call today, let’s see if they do this time.

Michael Reed: I might have given a better star rating. But, I have never been here. My appointment was canceled, the counselor was sick. I have tried to go for a scheduled appointment 2 times. I am surprised they are in business to help people. I had an appointment canceled within 20 min of the appointment time. I have been told that you can't cancel an appointment within 24 hrs. But, they can cancel in 20min? I believe the counselor must have wanted to go to the racetrack today.... hey it is May.YesThis place is a JOKE.

Even through periods when I was challenged to see a different perspective, I would later experience AH HA moments which help me to trust the process. Her family sessions are productive and helpful also.

She has been a very important part of my healing and growth process. Not only do we address my depression, my anxiety, Ptsd, and life long trauma, but she has been an intrical part of my grieving process since losing my son last July. God could not have sent me a better fit, a more Beautiful soul for this part of my journey. Penny is knowledgeable, compassionate and very talented. I am truly blessed to have her on my team.

Rob Jones: The billing department can’t get on the same page as the post road location I got two phone calls for a balance I owed in two days after I just payed them x amount of dollars the week before, more less I felt like they thought I was a lie of course I offered my bank statement but then a week later I get this text about final attempt or it’s going to collections..Wow so now your going to threaten me in a text? on top of two harassing phone calls, very unprofessional
