crystal shelton: The food is full of flavor!!! The chicken legs are great! The chicken arepas are wonderful! The beef arepas are delicious! The empanadas are good too. The mondongo soup is life changing! This place is a must try! It's not a big restaurant but it is decent seating and no long waits!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pollo Guisado Arroz Guisado Y Habichuelas Rojas Frijoles, Mini Empanadas, Sancocho, Empanadas Venezolana Carne, Arepas, Mondogo, Pollo Arepa & Carne Arepa, Mini Arepas …More
Julio Sotelo: HORRIBLE SERVICIO POR FAVOR HASTE UN FAVOR Y ORDENA WN OTRO LADO $32 DOLARES POR 2 AREPAS Y UN AGUA DE MELON.ROBO!!! Y APARTE ENCONTRÉ ESTO EN MI COMIDA PRIMERA Y ÚLTIMA VEZ QUE ENTRO A ESTE LUGAR

Lis C.: Closed most of the time while Google hours say otherwise. I get it times are tough but they’ve done this for a while now. If you want to run a business please don’t waste people’s time, one takes time and gas driving there, it’s business 101. Food is good but overpriced, and if they are closing earlier, then not much food choice to offer either. This is the same reason other Dominican food restaurants don’t survive, might be worth doing some research to see why they failed.Unfortunate but very honest review.

Luis Velasquez: Probably the only Dominican food in Indy, and it’s really good!
Shem Sheli: Latin home cooking on the NW side of IndianapolisI had been to Tu Casa multiple times, and would generally recommend it.The menu is a bit unpredictable - though they have some items cooked to order (mostly fried appetizers) the main courses come from a "hot line", cafeteria style. And the selection changes a bit every time.As is the case with home cooking, some items may be better than others , or not consistent across different visits. But taken together with the huge portions and the friendly service...I always felt like eating at someone's kitchen. We had two lunches (enough to feed 4 people), a hearty soup, and three beverages, under $40.I also like the fact that the place was run by women, every time I visited. I like to support locally owned businesses like that.
Mayra Tepoz: Rude and unwelcoming
Claudia I Bolin-Figueroa: Deliciosa sopa de Mondongo.
Alex Garcia: Food was mediocre ; bland barely any season . Overpriced food I can cook at home . Not coming back .

M Watts: Soooo Good! First time trying Venezuelan food- we will be back. The arepas were fresh and full of flavor. Guasacaca is a new fav—is a must!

Ron Odle: I'm really happy to see a Venezuelan shop open up. They bring a really nice change of pace from the typical latin American beans and rice. From the taquenas to the fresh mango juice to the guasacaca sauce I was really happy to stop in and look forward to coming back. Maureen Hernandez: Excellent Latin food!!!! I would return to Indy just for this food ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Gregorio Mejias: Excellent service and awesome tasty food. The authentic flavor of Venezuelan food. If you love the Venezuelan Arepas, this is the place.Vegetarian options: Arepas filled with Avocado and Sweet Platain
Ron de Leon: We got their sampler plate and the pabellon arepa. Both are good and the sampler plate is more than enough for me and my wife. The pabellon arepa tastes so good, the plantains brings out the flavor of the meat and other ingredients. What I also recommend to get is their mango juice, very refreshing and can really taste the mango. The only downside that I can think of is the price. It’s not too expensive but our meal costs around $30+.

Livery: what do users think?
Ginny Gotham: Managers at this establishment are RUDE and the food was subpar, I wouldn't recommend. There are much better places in indy with better service. I would highly recommend agave and rye or tupelo honey, both are great new places to check out this summer!

Indira Camargo: I used to love Livery. When they opened I was number one fan and was my place to go. Yesterday, that completely changed. We ordered: the Crab tostada, yuca Fries, Picaña and the Chocolate tres leches. Number one disappointment was the presentation of the crab tostada, followed by the lack of elevated taste. The picaña was just OK but the “sofrito rice” was terrible, no flavor at all. Finally the tres leches was weirdly presented with some sort of chocolate icing on top (butter and chocolate), caramel ice-cream on the the side (I don’t get it), strawberries (ok) and whipped cream (why?).Drinks were great. We ordered the sangria and the cachaça colada.I do have to say the crab tostada was the was and was taken off the check.

piabloidentity: This place is quiet, yet loud! The cuisine speaks with every bite taken, and the drinks explode in taste. The service is completely on point and friendly… my date was the perfect night.
Raquel Batistucci: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
David Muntz: Too expensive
Katie Christenberry: YUM! And spicy. 🔥🔥🔥 Tough location to get to for a carry out order on the weekend with parking, but my husband made it back and we enjoyed our meal. He was not greeted by anyone upon entering the restaurant and had to venture to the bar to inquire about our order.Yucca fries with queso — the fries are very starchy, so definitely share, but the queso was incredible.Guacamole — great dairy free option for a starter. Large portion, and spicy! The little pinwheel complimentary table snacks — I will take a family-size bag, please and thank you. Crispy, zesty, salty. So good!Paella — it’s not a traditional paella at all, so certainly deceiving based on the menu, but the shrimp and scallops were cooked well and the dish was very flavorful. If you don’t like lots of little chunks of onions and peppers—beware. Also, very spicy. And we thought the portion was a little small for the price. Probably wouldn’t order again, but we also ate it all 🤷‍♀️

Gabrielle cooper: One of my ABSOLUTE favorite places to eat in Indy! The quality of the food is unmatched and no matter how many times I go, it’s like I’m experiencing the food for the first time all over again.Dimly lit and the overall vibe/aesthetic Cocktails *chefs kiss*Highly recommend the Paella if you’re into shellfish with a nice kick of spice. Also, you can never to wrong with the empanadas…especially the queso ones. Honestly, anything on the menu won’t disappoint and that’s coming from someone who’s been quite often.
Jamie Aker: Honestly, the absolute best.We went there for our anniversary. Our server was very kind, funny and knowledgeable of the food. He made great recommendations and was super helpful all around.Words cannot describe how good the food was. My partner had the vegetarian empanadas and I had the pork belly tacos. We shared the cauliflower app. Then the churros for desert to wrap it all together. Every single part of the food was spectacular! I'm still dreaming of the churros.
Regina Easley: Loved the decor and the vibe! I was eating solo and sat at the bar. The bartender recommended the cauliflower appetizer. I was hesitant at first but it literally was the best cauliflower I’ve ever eaten. I also tried the chicken empanadas and tres leches dessert. This restaurant is definitely worth trying!!!Recommended dishes Cauliflower Appetizer …More

La Mulita: what do users think?
Robin Bolte: FABULOUS.
jackie jones: Not what it used to be. Sweet potato wedges have been replaced with frozen crinkle fries, gone is the yummy serrano aioli, and the guacamole has no flavor
ChronicBronchitis: Great tacos
Darren Fox: Great food!
Robbie Davis: Delicious. Try the chilaquiles... You'll never be the same.
Gabe Gaynor: Tied with Bakersfield for best Margarita in Indianapolis, in my books!
Jim Borda: Friendly and fast
Parker Trow: Quite expensive for food and drinks that aren't as good as the other options in town.
Tony Panozzo: This is one of our new favorite spots. The food was amazing and the vibe was unique. We will definitely be back
Brian Hammes: Simple and great. Every taco is as good as the next and sweet potato wedges always on point. Good drink selection for a small place, great churros, always good service.
Lindsay Hicks: Loved it, great tacos and fun atmosphere!
Brittany D'Ambra: Freshly made chips & guac are a must! Great spot for lunch.
Jared Ludlow: Quaint bar, great food, great date location
Neil Neukam: Pretty decent little joint.
Jackie White: Delish food. Great cocktails! Loved it.
Dr. Steel: The Shrimp tacos here are the BOMB!! Great prices too. Perfect place to either chill and talk in a quiet atmosphere or just get down with some fantastic mexican food!!
Callie Valle: Great food but not your typical Mexican restuarant
GiGi Powell: Outstanding as usual!! Love the Fish Tacos 🤗
scotto lufkin: The food was great, but over-priced. It's Mexican street-food, and it's delicious, but I don't want to pay for fine dining when I'm eating street food. And don't bring your kids. The kids menu prices are the same as everything else. Otherwise, both the food and the service were quite good. Our server was very friendly.
Bob Walter: Tried this place for the first time tonight with my wife. Guac and chips were spot on. She had chicken tacos and I had carnitas. Nice portion with great flavor. The street corn was just ok. We had these during Indy Taco Week which made them a reasonable price. There are a lot of good Mexican-American restaurants in Indy that are not quite as pricey. But I do recommend this one overall.

Nicole Lobato: NO ES RESTAURANTE SALVADOREÑO!! Terrible service will NEVER go back!!

Amanda Derr: We had reservations for a birthday last night. The service was extremely poor (slow, inattentive), considering we were a good group of folks for a birthday, paid for by our business. The restaurant was never more than half full yet our service was not good. We waited 30 minutes for drinks after being seated so it really set the tone for our whole experience. The food was overpriced, my husbands carne asada tacos were extremely small (3 tiny tacos for $25 - no sides). The guacamole was 5 slices of cucumber and weirdly chopped radishes atop avocado with several entire sprigs of cilantro on top. No effort in presentation.Underwhelming - expensive for what you’re getting. We had a reservation for 10 and it was not okay - that just added chairs to the end of a booth instead of seating us at rectangular tables together. And we could only seat 9 so we told the 10th person to just meet us after. The building was nice, decent aesthetic. Food was okay but experience very poor.

Ali Parvez: The menu is not too big which is typical of a Mexican place. The food is extremely delicious and the service is relatively quick. I tried the chips with three kinds of salsa and I have to say that it gave my palette a desirable workout. The tacos were simply amazing and the overall ambience of the place is a cherry on the top. My friend ordered a three milk cake that was presented in a very elegant bowl. Honestly it was more of a treat for my eyes than some of the posters I saw on the conference I attended that day.
Agboola Suleiman: Recommended dishes Carne Asada Tacos on Corn Tortillas with Added Avocado and a Side of Street CornMore
Evan Steiner: Nice downtown location, decor is great, ambience was fine. Above average service by Armando our server and time from ordering until the food arrived was impressive (even on a Friday night) but not a great Mexican food compared to the rest of Indy. The chicken was above average, the steak below. Salas were decent , the hot one had the most flavor. Chips are home made but not warmed, the tortillas seemed like what you buy at the store. Definitely seems like a place for folks visiting the area or in a large group. They have locations in 2 or 3 other states (owned by a restaurant group with two or so other offerings)
Ryan Dotson: Not your average Mexican restaurant. Food was amazing! Think upscale/gourmet Mexican. Everything we got was so flavorful. Menu has your typical options, but also unexpected items you don’t usually see. We got the crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizer that were so delicious. Also recommend the tacos in pork al pastor. Good portions for the price. Even the chips and salsa is a notch above the rest. The restaurant itself has a fun and trendy atmosphere. If you’re in Indianapolis looking for something to eat, try Nada…you won’t be disappointed!

dawn charbonneau: A wonderful traditional mom-and-pop-owned Mexican restaurant in Indianapolis. Great food — especially enjoy the shrimp tacos, huevos a la Mexicana, and sopa de pollo. Desserts are excellent and house made. (Be sure to try the flan and tres leches cake!) The decor is bright and colorful and the service is consistently efficient and friendly. We always receive a warm greeting when we arrive. Love this place!
Skateboard P: This was my favorite Mexican restaurant mainly. Because of my girlfriend. My last two experiences have let me way down. Last night the random dog in the restaurant wandering with a “best friend” harness on. Not sure who let him walk in alone but this was too much! The dog wandered up to each table like no service dog would ever do. The staff ignored it until it literally almost chased a waitress into the kitchen. We left without ordering this time and the time before that we had uncharacteristically poor service sad to feel the need to find a new favorite go to. We loved this place because of the many good vegetarian options.

Mark: Great food and service, really liked the chicharron!
CJ Umbray: I don’t give places 5 stars, but this one, this one is a diamond in the rough ya’ll. Authentic as it gets and a MUST and I mean A MUST try. You are missing out if you don’t. The Chicharron Sampler was amazing and the yucca fritas are a great appetizer to an amazing meal. Y’all this place, I can’t even.Recommended dishes Chicharron Sampler, Lechon Sandwich, Yucas Fritas …More
Dark Nebula: I'm not really a big food person. Nothing ever tastes that good to me, I just eat to survive. But these sandwiches? They made me remember the meaning of "delicious". So so so so so good! The bread is perfectly baked with a perfect crisp but not too thick/hard crust and soft chewy inside, the meat is tender, yummy sauces and onion salsa. My favorite restaurant by far. I've had the Pavo (turkey) and the Asado (Peruvian pot roast). Both were amazing but I would highly suggest the Asado. It has some kind of tomato sauce on it that is so good, all of the flavors go great together, the meat is sooo tender. My husband and I ate here today and are probably going back tomorrow. He is going to order the Asado next time after trying mine today 🤤
todd ward: Gooood food, great staff. But not much to look at.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Don Juan Special Needs a Bigger Bun, Chicken Sandwich, Yucas Fritas, Chicharrones Sandwich, Empanada, Tamalito …More
Greg Fields: Such a small hidden gem and you have to be lucky to catch them when they are open but the sandwich’s are absolutely phenomenal and full of flavor! Recommend if you get the chance
Hollie Shelton: The chifles were perfectly done and the lechon sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The coffee was magical. So glad we decided to eat here!
Erin: Consistently delicious! Love the lomo saltado and anticuchos.
Amanda Melvin: Very good food. We had Yuca Fritas as an app and it was very good. Tasted pretty much like french fries. A green sauce was served with it and it was delicious. My son and I each had a sandwich. I had the Milanesa de Pollo and he had the Don Juan, which is seasonal. They did not have steak for the Don Juan so he was offered chicken instead. This substitution did not change the price of the sandwich, which I question. The sandwiches are LARGE. We each only ate half and took the rest home.
Kevin Koons: Not much to look at on the outside but don’t judge a book by its cover. Amazing Peruvian food. I had the desayuno which was wonderful! Great service and friendly owners.
Nikki Knight: Delicious sandwiches and the yucca fries are to die for! Favorite casual spot for a good lunch from a really nice family.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Becca Zuniga: Love this place. The service is excellent and so is the foodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

S. Wallace: This is a great hidden gem. I had the chicharrones sandwich, and it was very flavorful. The chicha morada beverage was great, too. The server was very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Tanner Peacock: Such amazing food! All the food is delicious, but the tamales are for sure what you want to come here for.The tamales are made every morning and once gone they are done for the day so make sure to come early to get the flavors you are wanting!
Kathy Brown: The masa was very good. However, the contents were ridiculously thin. I had a poblano mushroom tamale. There was one small stream of mushrooms in the middle. My friend had a blackbean tamale. Hardly anything in the middle, also. We looked up pictures online, and it appears that tamales usually have much more contents. I gave two stars because the tacos were great.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian tacos were good.

Sam Hostetter: The best Cuban sandwich in Indianapolis. Such a warm, inviting place to slow down for a moment and have a taste of Havana. Recipes are second to none!
Raj Aiyar: The owner informed me he's closing the business down because "no one wants to work" for 11/hr. Avoid this one, helping this business owner achieve his shut down goal, and protecting yourself as he discovers what's been buried in the freezer.

Owner and staff super friendly and helpful. Food was right out so speedy and bundled up all nice for me. The sandwich, great flaky roll, ham was fantastic. Regular size was very filling. Such a great sandwich. The pastries were amazing as well. Guava filling was fantastic, fresh , perfectly balanced with cream cheese in between flaky layers of amazingness. Will definitely be back.
