Tina Quassy: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Girl Talk With Zyra Rose: My daughter loved this cooking classes! She came home with lots of treats and great excitement from mixing and measuring and identifying kitchen utensils. This class is definitely building great and amazing memories for my baby. As a parent I'm excited for her! And thankful someone has created a comfortable space for our babies. Its reasonable and she will definitely be a regular at this safe establishment.
Monique Nelson: My Son and friends had a blast Ms.Cherice was very professional and loving my son learned a lot...
candice quarles: We celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday with a cooking party hosted by Yumz Up! The kids had a great time. The party decor was super cute and Ms Cherice was very professional & fun!
Roleen Demmings: My kids had so much fun cooking, learning chef techniques, kitchen safety and team work!
toy toy: Thanks so much for having a cooking class for kids!! My daughter enjoyed cooking and definitely stated she would like to return for another class.. see you soon!!
Tamara Jones Hines: My daughter really enjoyed the class. Not only did she learn to cook a dish by recipe but she also learned to set a table properly. She attended a class on 7/7/19 & asked if she could attend another one either this upcoming Thursday or Sunday. She did not want to leave when I picked her up. I will definitely allow her to attend classes in the near future & I especially love that it is located within a 3 minute drive from our home.
cpa spaud: My 7 year old daughter love the cooking class. She enjoyed every bit of it.
Mahogany wells: My daughter loves Yumzup classes, she gets excited when I tell her she’s going. After the class is over she’s eager for the next one. She’s talks about how much fun she had, but more importantly how good the food is! It’s definitely a fun hands on experience for young children boys and girls. I recommend it to everyone!
Brandy Woodson: My daughter looks forward to her cooking classes weekly is a great learning /cooking experience for her 😊

Sprouts Cooking School: what do users think?
Jefa Sheehan: Clean and safe environment with classes that I feel are geared towards kids that have very little to no experience in the kitchen. Both of our kids enjoyed their classes and camp for the most part but said they wished the classes would have been more in depth or that they would have been allowed to do more. We probably won't use them in the future because I do feel that the cost is a bit much given the skills and recipes covered, but if you're someone that doesn't cook at home or let your kids help you cook, this is a good way to get them some exposure. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.
stephanie schell: Our nine year daughter loves Sprouts Cooking School! We live on the Southside and make the trip North for her to spend a few hours baking & cooking with other kids. Tonight’s class was a hit, a baking competition.
Joe Pople: Sprouts is great for families and even little kids. We did a summer dessert class and it was really awesome.
Stephen Groce: Cool fun for the kids. Friendly, clean, professional for kids and adults!
Angela McClung: Most enterprising place to work! So much positive energy!!!

Sur La Table: what do users think?
Andrzej K: Did a the Thai date night cooking class recently. Overall this class was okay sharing a single burner with 3 other people was disappointing because most of us were standing around for 3/4 of the class luckily we had some wine. The other disappointment was the menu had coconut lime sorbet, which ended up being already pre-made for us so we were able to experience that in the class which should be stated when booking.Maybe another class might redeem this experience but at 90 dollars I was expecting more.
Ashley Richardson: Had an amazing Thai cooking class with chef Tony, would highly recommend!
Violet Feaster: Date Night Thai cooking class was so much fun! The chef was knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely recommend and look forward to doing this again!
Kelly Stukenberg: I attended one of the pasta cooking classes and management of the class was extremely poor. Only verbal directions were given from the instructors, and it was very hard to hear. No demonstrations were done for the entire class to understand the steps. The instructor who knew the recipe better did attempt to help individually, however, there was not enough equipment for the entire class to do all steps at the same time. At the end, you were able to try the food you made. The ravioli was pretty good but the cannenoli was not even cooked. We consulted an instructor who tested the temperature and claimed it was cooked. After consulting the second teacher, he agreed the pasta was not cooked (we're talking sticky dough consistency). He told us to take it home and cook it longer in the oven. VERY DISPLEASED with this class given the money spent to attend and unappetizing result.
Kim “2XTREME” Lange: Took the Thai cooking class. Knowledgeable instructor and had fun.
Elisa Doll: I have concerns about a recent purchase that is also my first and likely last purchase. I bought some pricey hot chocolate as a gift for someone but the item I received has a torn off sticker on the front. For an expensive purchase it's worrisome because the sticker could mean it had been reduced price in store (for age or promotion). As a gift it's irritating because I have to try to remove it without damaging the art on the tin. As a consumer, if I pay more than is usual for a product I expect more from the product, and that includes the packaging. I cannot speak to the quality as of yet as I haven't yet gifted it. I hope that will make up for the initial disappointment. And it's why I am reluctant to give lower stars, though I still felt it's an issue that other consumers sgould be aware of, but is also too small to contact customer service (especially so close to the holidays). It's also good feedback for the company as I am sure that my expectations are not extraordinary.
Carol Metz: Trying to do some Christmas shopping on limited time, but frustrating when the store doesn’t open and it’s 10:10 . Lost two customers because of it. It was snowing and cold so waiting outside is very cold. More and more stores are not trustworthy.
W C: Terrible customer service
Tammy Owen: We were there for the date night cooking class. Chef Sarah, Josh and Donna were great. Lots of fun!! Signed up fir the knife skills class in a couple of weeks.
Wiley 6: My daughter just completed the Teen cooking class at the location in Carmel, Indiana and I wish I could say we were impressed. They didn’t do the mystery box on the last day, the Chef only lead the class the first day and they sent the kids home with undercooked brownies on the last day and told them they could finish cooking them at home. Not what we expected or paid for. Wish we had a better experience. We got a refund for the second week that she was going to attend because my daughter was not happy with them cutting out the mystery basket and the other issues with this week, she looked forward to doing that all week. Not worth the money if your kids want to really learn something. The food did not taste good either. I called to give feedback about our experience and was supposed to be contacted… still waiting.
theresa predmore: I gave one star because I can't give it a zero. Bought silverware sets and went to return and they hasled me about it. I had a fire and needed to replace my whole kitchen glad I only bought silverware to see if I liked the place and will never go to this store again. Beware horrible customer service. Took two trips and my husband to receive what was right.
Jake Wagner: Half my kitchen is from sur la table. We love their supplies, so when my significant other and I were recommended the cooking classes by one of the store employees we booked one. We have now tried to go 3 times. The first two were cancelled due to not enough guests. The third was cancelled due to employee illness. At least they were refunded. Very frustrating.
Jeannie Milan: Took the cooking with wine class, Scott was a great chef and instructor. Will take another class!
Jw Lee: They manage their cooking classes poorly. I bought Christmas cookie class and valentine cooking class for my kid but they canceled both with last minute notice. Going to a Sprout cooking class seems like a better option.
Maks Luthra: This review is exclusively for the poor management and lack of communication for the cooking classes. I purchased in-store cooking class as an anniversary present for me and my husband, and was charged $158 on my credit card. We reached the Carmel location for the class in heavy rain only to find that the store was locked but there were some other people waiting for the cooking class, so we thought maybe the instructor is running a bit late due to the rain. At 9:10 AM, an employee came. She told us that she cannot let us in but basically, there is no cooking class. She mentioned that the cooking class was canceled a week ago due to unavailability of the instructor and after checking the roster, she told us that someone may have tried calling me and would have left a voicemail.First, I didn’t have any missed call or voicemail in the past 10 days that I did not know about. Second, I was not refunded. This should’ve been the first thing they should've done if cooking class was canceled a week ago. Third, the person should have tried calling the alternate phone number (which I checked was there on the roster) or tried sending me an email to make sure the message was conveyed. It's been 4 days and I have still not received the refund. I have followed up with the store over email and have not heard back. I finally called their customer service today and a gentleman told me that in the system, he does not see that the cooking class was cancelled, so he is unable to issue a refund but he is escalating this to a team so they can review my case and follow up, which I appreciate.I am not sure if there is disconnect between the corporate and store management, but a client should not have to pay for this nonsense. You wasted our time on the day of the cooking class and are still withholding our refund for your lack of professionalism.
Rosette Fernandez: The manager Liz was incredibly rude on the phone after she let me know the class I purchased with my 9 yo daughter was no longer available bc there was no instructor. This class was a Christmas gift and there was no attempt to help rectify the situation or offer another class. I was told I needed to rebook but I knew the other classes were full. Also all of the classes are 14+ age, so I have no alternatives. I understand things happen but when there is no attempts to be kind or helpful that’s not ok
Jeanne Deangulo: So many cool kitchen gadgets!!
Ryan Mossakowski: I love Sur La Table due to the knowledge and customer service they have! Ever time I walk into the store I am greeted and notice how clean and organized everything is. If there is ever anything I need they are willing to help.I just recently had to deal with customer service and it was such a positive experience! I emailed them all the information and it was fixed shortly afterwards (less than an hour). I was very impressed!Wonderful company on all fronts and I’m happy spending my money there!
Brad Thurber: Friendly and helpful - but sometimes to the amount I would call hovering. I wish they would stock more of the products they carry on their website that get great reviews. The cooking class area looks very well equipped.
Heather Bailey: We did a cooking class at this location. It was super hands on and super fun! We made all of the food that we cooked. Learned some good cooking techniques. I will definitely plan to go back another time. Talking about planning our next date night there already. We made risotto, salmon, a new way to make a delicious fresh salad, and made a pastry. Chef Mel was a wonderful instructor! We was offered 10% off everything in the store after our class, and a discount on a future class, too. ..again, super fun, and totally will go back!
Mojo: Over-priced kitchen stuff but if you dig you will always find a deal. Nice place, friendly staff
