Healing Hearts of Indy, Inc: what do users think?
Matthew Frechette: My wife and I started working with Christy Aloiso a few months ago after our marriage was confronted with a regrettable discovery that left both of us emotionally overwhelmed. It's hard to determine which therapist will be a good fit just by reading their bio. It's an overwhelming decision especially when you're already feeling exhausted. That's why I felted compelled to leave a review even though I usually don't bother to share my opinion about a product or service. What I like about Christy is she uses an established process to understand what's important to you in order to build personalized strategies. She's felt like a partner in this process and has helped my wife and I tremendously. My wife likes that she offers a genuine sympathetic ear that demonstrates her sincere compassion. I appreciate her ability to offer guidance that doesn't feel to direct or indirect. She strikes a good balance of involving both people in the conversation by navigating through relevant and irrelevant information.I'm honestly amazed at the progress my wife and I have had in a few short months. We feel closer to each other and are grateful for the second chance to work on our marriage. Christy has been instrumental helping us communicate more effectively and be more vulnerable with one and other.
Madison Sanchez: I've been seeing Kat since early 2022 and she has been invaluable in helping me navigate the challenges in my life.
Debra Stong: We so love our counselor, Chelsea. She's vibrant and full of ideas to help us. Excersises for us to do every week. Looking to both of us to explain how we are perceiving the process. If our marriage fails after this, it won't be because of her.
Emily Ng: I’ve been seeing Chelsea since September 2019 and therapy with her is such an enlightening experience. Having Chelsea by my side to help me navigate my life and struggles has been such a blessing. She’s constantly challenging me to become my best self. Over the last year and a half, she’s encouraged me to explore my emotions and inner workings and has helped me understand and work with them. All that work has paid off in some positive improvements in my life, and I owe it all to Chelsea!Talking with her just comes easily - mostly due to her kind and empathetic nature - which has always been a struggle for me. I appreciate how compassionate, patient, empowering, and supportive she is. She was born for this profession. She’s created a safe space for me to share the good, the bad, and everything in between, and for that, I am so thankful. This was something that I never had with my previous therapists. Finding a therapist who you can trust and feel safe with is no easy task, which is why I feel incredibly fortunate to have met Chelsea and to have her in my life.
justin frederick: My wife and I have been going to Morgan for over 2 years. She has been instrumental in helping us become better as individuals and better for each other. She doesn’t pull punches when we need to hear something we may not like and is also very supportive in our victories as a couple. Morgan has always done a great job of guiding in areas we need to grow in, while maintaining an atmosphere that makes us feel like we are talking to a trusted friend.
Ryann Hall: Extremely unprofessional. My family arrived 10 minutes early to see Morgan Stoner and waited for 45 mins and she never came out to greet us. We drove 35 mins to get to the appointment with my children in tow. I appreciated that she was willing to accommodate our children, but would prefer to give 0 stars for standing her patients up.*addendum* she told us the wrong day and of course did not intentionally miss the appointment, however my time is valuable and I would prefer a counselor who is detail-oriented and one who communicates more clearly.
Lloyd Work: Kathy Henry has been instrumental in helping me address some lifelong issues that have been a struggle for me. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, these issues came to a head and I found myself unable to face these issues without professional help. The advice I receive on an ongoing basis is solid and has made a huge difference in my everyday life. Highly recommended!
Tom Steele: Kathy Henry of Healing Hearts of Indy was instrumental in guiding me out of darkness to live a life of honesty with myself. She truly is a gift from God and one his angels.
Emily Sightes: Chelsea is AMAZING!!!! So glad I started therapy at Healing Hearts
Marshall Staxx: I was preyed upon by a malicious and unethical marriage counselor who enabled my verbal, emotional, and financial abuse and engaged in it herself at great length on a regular basis. I kept going because my husband (other abuser) extorted me because he relished and joined in her denial of his horror every minute that she wasn't talking about herself, so 35% of the time. None of it was in good faith.
D. C.: I began my journey with Christy Aloisio in March of 2012. She absolutely changed my life. She is a deftly skilled therapist who was able to help me heal the deepest wounds in my life and to discover a path of continued healing and growth. Over the years I have referred numerous people to Christy... always receiving the same feedback from their experience with her... she is life changing.
Anne Wegman-Collins: I would encourage anyone to pursue counseling through Healing Hearts. Their counselors are experienced, extremely professional and knowledgeable and have helped my family to navigate through day to day challenges, past issues and unexpected events. They have helped through family conflicts, marriage challenges and guidance through career and parenting. I can’t say enough about how their services have shaped and guided us.
Laina Turner: I can't say enough positive things about Healing Hearts and specifically Christy Aloisio. She helped one of my family members through a trying time. There was resistance to seeing her, and she was able to break down the barriers and engage in meaningful and helpful dialogue.
Kathi Hammond: I can't recommend Healing Hearts more highly. Kathy Henry has helped me work through some really difficult issues after the death of my husband, and the insights she has offered have given me so much relief and helped me move forward in a healthy manner.
Jen Thomas: Counselling was a great experience for me. Learnt so much about myself that really helped me just do life so much better. It was very much a life changer. Did it via Skype which worked really well given the distance. I've experienced a few counsellors before that were good but the difference being I gained much more awareness of my blind spots and have been able to transfer that into my day to day life!
Christopher Beltran: I've had the privilege of knowing almost the entire team at Healing Hearts of Indy and have been a proud client for a number of years now! Not only are they fantastic at listening and providing resources in the form of group therapy, literature and more, but they are especially adept at molding their approach around your specific circumstances. I never feel like I'm being put into a pre-made templated system. I'm always a fan of improving oneself and their team has rocked it in that department! I always leave feeling like a better version of myself and everyone around me has noticed. Thumbs up all around!

Brooke-Randolph, LMHC: what do users think?
Mariya Javed-Payne: Brooke is an exceptional therapist who is extremely knowledgeable about adoption issues, attachment, addictions, and trauma. She has a heart of gold, and I would recommend her to anyone who is seeking a warm, nurturing, and highly attuned therapist.
Alex Caroline Robboy: She is an amazing educator and therapist. Very inspiring. She creates a warm, safe environment and makes it easy for people to become their best self.
Cherie Lowe: Brooke Randolph offers deep wisdom and a fresh perspective centered in a caring spirit. She helps you navigate the areas of your life where you struggle with straightforward counseling and the desire for you to live a full and abundant life, unhindered by your past or current hang ups. I walk away from time with her feeling lighter and more capable to face whatever circumstance is in front of me.
flip1980ful: I can tell she does her homework: perceptive and bright, Brooke is a winner! I know cause Ive been to so many:)
Ashley Etzkorn: My fiance and I chose Brooke as our premarital counselor and we are so happy that we did. Brooke does a great job of helping couples navigate through tough subjects and had great ways to help us see each issue through the other person's point of view. We have a much stronger and more understanding relationship because of our sessions with Brooke!
Ike Homburg: My wife and I chose Brooke Randolph to do our pre-marital counseling here in Indianapolis. I figured it would be a waste of time, energy, and money, but thankfully I was wrong. She is a natural when it comes to couples counseling. She made us look at our lives and relationship in a new light, by making us talk to each other about the difficult topics and getting everything out in the open. I am sure we will not, but if we ever need to, I know where we would end up for marriage therapy. Brooke enriched our relationship and insured we were starting our marriage on the right track, I we are forever grateful for that.
Amanda Faulkner: I would recommend anyone to Brooke. We immediately made progress with a plan for my son, which was so refreshing! I had been trying for over a month to get a plan in place with different doctors and getting put on different waiting lists. It was just an incredible relief to be on the right path. Brooke was so amazing and a huge blessing to my family.
Brandi Koskie: Brooke is the consummate professional and shows her passion for what she does in everything she produces. Her expertise combined with anecdotal experiences make her voice relatable, practical and valuable. She won't ever share anything that's not her best. A pleasure to know personally and professionally.
Lauren Hacker: Brooke is a detail oriented manager who encourages those that work for her. She challenges everyone to be better and is not afraid to say what needs to be said. I have grown so much while working with her. She is an advocate for children and great support for families in the adoption process and after.
Laura Dennis: Brooke is someone who has real and actual training in helping those impacted by adoption, along with a genuine willingness to learn. Whether you are an adoptive parent who needs insight into raising your adoptee, an adoptee, or a first mom ... you'll be sure to be in empathetic, caring, knowledgeable (and non-judgmental!) hands with Brooke.
Scott Krenz: Brooke is very personable and caring. I would highly recommend her.
Arifah Aronson: During my separation and before my divorce, I turned to Brooke for help. It was one of the best decisions I made. I 'forced', my boys to also see her. They were 12 at the time, and as typical boys didn't want to talk to anyone. I'm glad I did that too. She took care with them and learned their behavior styles. In turn, was able to give me advice that best suited them, and their needs. Her dedication was and is something I will always appreciate. My boys are well and we have adjusted into a wonderful family. There's still issues, and there will be, that's natural, it's having the tools to help guide communication and conflict. Something we all need to learn and Brooke is amazing at teaching these skills.I highly recommend Brooke and wouldn't go to anyone else if my needs arise.Arifah

Thriveworks Counseling: what do users think?
Jennifer Taylor: Unprofessional, therapists are a joke. Either aren't qualified or talk to much to listen to your issues. Billing practices are unethical
Kimberly Allison: Kristina Turner is a former co worker and an amazing therapist. She has a vast clinical knowledge and great interpersonal therapeutic skills. Additionally, she is very innovative and adaptive. She had solid, trusting relationships with her clients and really walked with them on their journey of self improvement.
Nathan Haffner: Kristina Turner is wonderful! As a mental health professional who’s worked with her before, I am well aware of the exceptional service she provides to her clients!
Hope Lane: Kristina Turner is an exceptional therapist with a vast amount of experience. Her personality is down to earth and driven to provide her clients with opportunity for growth. Kristina exhibits strong motivation to provide a client focused compassionate experience.
Autumn Sprecher: I highly recommend Kristina Turner! She is as real as they come, down to earth, empathetic, compassionate, professional and relatable!
Stephanie Piercefield: Kristina Turner is one of the best therapist I have had the opportunity to work with in my 25 years working in mental health. You will never meet a more compassionate professional that values helping others more than she does. Kristina is non judge mental and she has a way about her that makes others feel safe. Kristina can think outside the box and she does not look at each situation the same. She is a very patient therapist that gets to know her client in order to better help them. I am very thankful for the years we worked together, I learned a lot from her.
Jaymie Porter: I highly recommend Kristina Turner. She is compassionate, caring, and professional. She values her clients time and is flexible with scheduling. People leave their sessions feeling better after meeting with Kristina!
Ce Kay: For over 27 years, I witnessed Dr. Amanda Wicket’s authenticity, inclusiveness and her resilience. Of her many strengths, what stands out the most, is her active engagement with people. Dr. Amanda Wicket has an extraordinary ability to listen, ask questions, provoke thought, offers affirming and alternative considerations and perspectives to assist with arriving at your own conclusions. She does so in a manner that is respectful, genuine, sincere, empathetic, and relatable. Throughout the years, and my own challenging life experiences, I felt lucky, relieved, and comforted with every opportunity to spend time with her as Dr. Amanda Wicket is truly a helpful and remarkable person.
Candace Cardin: I highly recommend Dr. Amanda Wickett. She is a genuine, compassionate, and well-trained psychologist. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking improvement of their mental health and/or quality of life.
Melissa Kuhel: Dr. Amanda Wickett is committed to her patients and has great outcomes. I highly recommend her.
Eleanor Troy: Dr. Amanda Wickett is an excellent clinician who cares deeply for her patients! I highly recommend her.
Richard Bower: Dr. Amanda Wickett has been a long time associate and collaborator in our shared Counseling careers. Her vast experience and compassion for all she has provided care to has demonstrated exceptional outcomes and recovery for her clients, as well as, being a benefit to her peers in consultation. I would highly recommend Dr. Wickett to anyone who would ask me.
Jared Cooper: So far Thriveworks has been amazing! The process to match up with a counselor was fairly simple in every way!
Andrea Lowery: Super convenient scheduling and I have been given a lot of helpful tools & techniques that I can utilize.
Anthony Reed: Heather Martin at Thriveworks is very professional, educated, empathetic and a great listener! She has consistently counseled me and provided very good advice. I would recommend anyone to Heather as you can tell that she truly cares about her clients!
Brandi Tyler: If I could give this lady no stars, that is what she deserves. I set my daughter up with an appointment based on reviews. My daughter really needed help and really like Ms. Sells based on her intake. She took my $175 for the intake and set up her first virtual counseling appointment. My daughter was logged in 20 minutes before the appointment and remained on for 30 minutes into what should've been her time. Ms. Sells never came on to the session. Nor did she ever email or call her with an explanation to try to schedule another appointment. The company Thriveworks has no problem taking $40 per month for some ridiculous subscription. This company, Ms. Sells included, are just trying to rip people off. I feel like any of these positive reviews are a shame and posted by fake people. Please run away with your dear life.
cakitchell: I was surprised how easy it was to talk in this format. Jennie really put me at ease which ultimately enhanced my experience and helped me open up.I WILL be back.
Jason Bostic: Grateful for the counsel of Jennie Sells. Attentive. Engaged. Patient. Highly recommend.
Kari Parsons: Jennie is a great listener and I highly recommend her!
Todd Gipson: Thank you very much to Mrs Sells for being so attentive and incredibly genuine. Easy to open up to, comfortable, warm, valuable feedback, and high quality professionalism. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you again.
tquinton1: Great help professional team. Especially Jennie Sells

Family Counseling Associates: what do users think?
Maria Mouzakis: This was a horrible experience. My friend met with Marilyn. She was as unprofessional and uncaring as a person can be, let alone a therapist. She had her mind made up about him within the first 5 minutes. He opened up about his substance abuse issues and areas of general anxiety that he wanted to address. While he spoke, she visibly reacted with expressions and murmurs of disgust, disbelief, and disapproval. At one point, she even intimated it was his own fault he was suffering physically and emotionally. While this may be true (as it is for all of us), it's hardly productive or helpful for a therapist to point that out, especially when the person is there to improve! He felt she judged him and found him lacking. During the session, she actually got up to answer her door when the doorbell rang! She flatly refused to offer help, and when he asked if there was another therapist that would be more suited, she flatly said "No." It takes bravery to go to therapy for help, and she humiliated him and left him feeling hopeless. This was not a case of "asking the hard questions and forcing him to look deep within himself at uncomfortable truths." This was open disdain and frankly, plain rudeness. He is still dwelling on his experience with her days later. My friend won't give up his search to find a good therapist, but a lesser person would give up after a session like that and likely engage in the very behaviors that he wants to change in order to cope with such a traumatic experience. Marilyn has chosen her therapeutic approach to reflect apathy rather than empathy. Shame on Marilyn, who needs to remember why she became a therapist in the first place. I am not an expert on therapy, but I am 100% positive that one of the cardinal tenets is not to judge your vulnerable patients and provide a space where they do not feel safe, respected, or heard. I have no hope or illusions that she or anyone at Family Counseling Associates will take any of my comments to heart, but I hope I can spare another person from having an experience like this.
Eric Catlow: Complete lack of communication. Unable or unwilling to share records and information required by law.
Eric Housman: They have been a great asset to us. The things we struggled with we found to be pretty common, but hearing it from someone else in a way that helps you see it. We really like(d) our experience here and felt valued, cared for and important. Mark Dubec is who we see and he has been such a help.
Conrad Pennington: Mr Heck wasn’t very nice to my family.
jonathan conrad: Dr. Heck is a tremendous resource for healing and personal growth. I cannot recommend his services enough.
Eddie Mathews: Really sweet, helpful folks. Flexible, forgiving.

Abram Sinn, LLC, LMFT, Therapist, Individual counselor, Couples counselor: what do users think?
Jackson Keeley: I've seen Abe for numerous months now and over the course of me seeing him my daily suicidal ideation, nearly constant panic, addiction, and debilitating anxiety and depression, has dramatically decreased. Or rather, when they come about I know have tools and a new perspective to not let the demons take over. I now can function and keep myself going in busy, loud, public places when I feel I'm on the verge of a panic attack. He's taught me to exist through it and learn skills to not let it completely control me. I had a dangerous situation where the police had to be involved recently before I started seeing Abe, but ever since I've seen him I've not had any situations arise anywhere near the extremity of it. I don't know where I would be, if I would be, if I had not been working with Abe. I'm very comfortable in his sessions, which isn't anything I've experienced before with other therapists. He feels like a friend, and he's fun to be around. There's been numerous things I've struggled with all my life that I have never brought up to him, yet he has very quickly discovered them through studying me well and getting to know me. He pointed out what I hadn't mentioned to him and in one session made a huge impact in improving that struggle I've had. Abe remembers everything I've talked about and so many things about me that many other therapists wouldn't have memorized. He cares deeply about his clients. And he does an incredible job at checking up on me. He doesn't just reply to what you say to him with things like, "And how does that make you feel?", and things of the sort, but he adds practical advice and makes it like a conversation that includes lots of understanding of what I'm going through and tangible tools for whatever the current issue is. When starting with him I was weary as a non-religious person due to his personal beliefs, but I've felt 0 judgement or anything of the sort. We even talk about it occasionally and have very interesting conversations. Whether you're religious or not, it won't affect your sessions and relationship with him. I'm grateful for what he has done for me and how he has gone above and beyond. All of my friends and family have noticed and mentioned to me the huge positive changes and growth I've been achieving. And that's thanks to Abe.
Sabrina Jones: He was incredibly helpful to a friend of mine, and the methods he uses to help are specifically individualized for the person. I have seen positive improvements with my friend during the time they have been seeing Abe.
