Divers Supply Indy: what do users think?
Joshua Terry: It's 7 years later since my original review. You literally could not pay me to buy my equipment anywhere else.Extremely knowledgeable! Helped guide my wife and I through certification. Not pushy at all and helped us determine the right gear. Several dive masters and divers have commented on the quality of our gear. Comparing notes with other divers, we paid considerably less for much higher quality gear.If you're looking for gear or just interested in scuba this is where I'd go.
nealogle: The staff is the absolute best.Knowledgeable and friendly. The staff made it a point to get you the best value and not the most expensive item available(unless that's what you insist on). We will be long-time customers.
Ivory Johnson: Very bright open shopping experience. Most items in stock. Great recreational dive shop !!! Make sure you check out the museum upstairs
Tommy Marchal: The girl that helped us was very sweet and knowledgeable we need more people like her in the world she made it a wonderful experience
Case Johnson: Staff very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Amazing scuba classes. Would recommend to anyone
Landon Boehm: A great dive shop with most any dive related items one could want. Excellent classes and plentiful class opportunities!
Joe Geiman: Great people.Fun experience
Jess S: They were very helpful to us and are very professional. They also have a cool dive museum you can check out. LOTS of products too, anything you need.
Chris Perdue: Life savers I've call so many places to get my paintball air tank filled with no end in sight until I've found this place thanks guys you rock....
Kory Kinder: Highly recommend for any diving needs. Jimmy and the staff are great and super knowledgeable.
Stephen Jenkins: Great people to deal with.
Elizabeth Schapker: Such a fun experience! My boyfriend and I took the entry into Scuba class and it was just the right amount of instruction and time to just play around and enjoy a new experience. The instructor was so kind and helpful. She was able to answer all our questions. You could tell she really had a passion for diving. They made the paperwork and all the pre-steps easy to follow and fill out.All in all, I would highly recommend this experience to all.
Ryan Warzynski: What a great experience from beginning to end with Diver's Supply Indy. My wife, daughter and I are all divers. Our son (15 years old) was not. Because of some past bad experiences with some other dive shops, we asked for a private class for or son. The dive instructor, Carina Hunneshagen, was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and with instructions on safety and procedure, all while still having fun, made it a perfect experience for or son. We also were so impressed with the operation, my son, daughter and wife purchased bcd's and regulators. There waws so many options and ZERO pressure. When we asked for a recommendation, Jimmy (Owner) would give his opinion but would not try to push us one way or another. We will recommend them to friends and family.
Shirley C: The best place to learn scuba diving. Very nice people.
Nathan Dexter: Great store with friendly staff. Lots of inventory to shop!
Jennifer Harris: Best dive shop! Friendly, knowledgeable and they carry many different brands of gear!
Kevin Gumfory: Best landlocked dive store I've ever seen! Jimmy was helpful but his staff were OUTSTANDING. The museum was incredible and so was Carl. Finally the little tec diver stole heart and found me a wetsuit that fit. Thnx guys !
Suzie Dodds: Great shop, good class offerings
Lorie Bowman: Outstanding, in every way! I recently selected them to teach me how to scuba dive and I’m positive they were the best choice possible! To start with they had a great sales floor and knowledgeable staff who helped teach me what I need as well as told me the pros and cons of each brand while offering a NO PRESSURE sales tactic.Second, the instructors were great at teaching the fundamentals of scuba. They not only made the class time fun but made the scientific aspects of scuba easy to understand for anyone.Third, they were extremely patient, and I mean their patience was at a level that left me overly impressed. I have had a fear of water my whole life, and only two years ago was I able to put my head under water. In the last 2 years I still got anxious about it, but I can fight through that anxiety better now. So that brings me to our pool time, there were quite a few occasions that my anxiety got the better of me but they were there encouraging me every step of the way. And worked with me to overcome my fear and helped to build my confidence at each obstacle. Their patience and their dedication helped me to build confidence that I can do this and I was able to learn each new skill and overcome my self doubt. I mean how can you truly rate a company with those kind of skills? So, There truly are no words to describe how truly I am impressed with Divers Supply Indy. I mean how can I only give them 5 stars? When they deserve so much more, as they are so EXTRAORDINARY!!!Would I refer them to anyone? Yes, without a doubt. I cannot imagine there is a better team than those you will find a Divers Supply Indy.
Jamie Tabor: Very nice store and staff. Prices as expected. Large selection of scuba gear. Open water driver Certification training offered through SSI.
Toby Wallace: Wanted to enter the world of Scuba, and they have done an amazing job! Got me fitted for all my gear, and are extremely helpful. Took the Try Scuba course, and walked away with a great experience and LOTS of good information. Looking forward to continuing my training with them.

Bottoms up Scuba Indy Dive Shop: what do users think?
Jessica Sweatland: It is unfortunate that I have to write this review and with such a poor rating. When I first started my diving with Bottoms Up a few years ago, I was so pleased with the enthusiastic, helpful, and fun staff that lead the classes. I had a really great time doing my open water diver course. The next year, I went on to get my advanced open water certification. While I paid for and completed all the requirements, I left happy that I gained another certification. About a year after finished my AOW course I went on vacation and we went SCUBA diving. We had chosen a dive site that required AOW since we were certified, it shouldn’t have been a problem. Much to my surprise, when they looked up my PADI account, I was still only accredited the open water certification. We were very disappointed that we couldn’t do that dive.now, more Recently I’ve been trying for MONTHS to get the AOW certification added to my account and I have yet to get any reply from anyone in the shop. I am extremely frustrated at this point and even more so, disappointed that this is how they treat their customers. I have even requested them to send the documents to me and I would send them to PADI myself and I get no reply. I’ve called Mike and he pushed me off to Carlos, who, unsurprisingly, did not reply. I’ve emailed, texted, and called and have gotten nowhere. I have since moved to Florida and was excited they had a shop down here but I will never dive or certify through Bottoms Up again. It’s really unfortunate.
Mike: Apparently like others, we enrolled in dive training here and they were quick to take our money but that's where it stopped. I have contacted them to schedule our water training via email, text, call and facebook with no response. After about a month of no response I contacted NAUI and asked them for help and they reached out to the shop located in Florida ( their other office ) and I was told someone was going to call me immediately. About 1 hour later I get a text message from someone at Bottoms Up Scuba in Florida saying I needed to come to Florida to finish my open water dives. I enrolled in Indiana because that's where we live not Florida. Bottoms Up fled with my money and no certification. After I requested a refund they no longer wanted to chat with me.
Jamie Tabor: I was looking forward to becoming a certified diver and I called them to join one of their weekend training programs. They charged me $437.00 for the open driver/nitrox training class billed to a real estate holdings LLC by Mike Ellis. That made me a little leery. I heard from them only once, from Zach Ellis, confirming my training day. I texted that I had to reschedule and never heard from them again, no follow-up. They still have my money and I still have no training. I had to go to another dive center for my training. You don't always "get what you pay for." I sure didn't! Live and learn. Que sera!
Doctor Greg: Based on previous experience and reputation, this company is known to employ deception for profit. Relevant details involving expenses, especially in the context of diving trips, are ambiguous and intentionally concealed. Rather than a fair division of expenses, as would be expected and as the customer is lead to believe, the customer's cost is calculated to pay for the total expense of the trip including the full expense of other divers as well. Answers to detailed questions about expenses are intentionally avoided or redirected. Bottoms Up proudly celebrates high profit margins from unprincipled and unethical business practices. Through well-practiced manipulation and swindle, trusting students and customers are unwittingly fleeced of their finances. The receptive quarry are encouraged with praise and recognition and reassured with warmth and affection by their trusted leader, the one gifted with a "flexible morality" and recognized by the permanent grin of a shark.
Morgan Rice: Started diving with Bottoms up in September and would highly recommend them to any and everyone! So much knowledge and professionalism I am so thankful that I have been able to find a great dive shop with amazing instructors!
shannon smith: This place is absolutely awesome. The owner. He's so amazing. I enjoyed every moment of my tour. He's the man to see for all Scuba entertainment. Mad 💘!!
Piper Sparrow: I had an absolute blast getting my Open Water certification with these folks. I would highly recommend
snakeoil62: FANTASTIC instructors!!I struggled pretty hard at first but they patiently walked me thru it...I never felt like I was rushed at all, very supportive staff....I got OW certified today!!Everyone I dealt with was great! The only reason I gave them 5 stars is because 6 stars wasn't an option!David L. Mix
Jeremy Wahl: It waz cool
Tyler: Literally the best group of people! Everyone was well read and very informative. My girlfriend and I went in just looking for information on the sport. When we left we knew Bottoms Up was going to be the place to learn from. We have never been to a place looking for a service and left completely satisfied! If you are looking for a safe and fun scuba diving experience Bottoms Up Scuba is the place!
Kayla Carroll: Went for my open water class.had some issues in the pool, they were understanding, helpful, and patient.i love Bottoms Up Scuba.
Anthony Reed: Excellent experience. I did my advanced certification through Bottoms Up. Very friendly staff. Clay helped me out on getting my advanced and nitrox e-learning started. Carlos was an excellent instructor on my check out dives. 5 stars for sure. I would recommend Bottoms up to anyone. Thanks,Anthony
Isaiah Huey: Getting ready to take a cruise. Was a little nervous about scuba diving, but the instructors were very relaxed, and covered every skill thoroughly. When I come back, I'm going to get my advanced. Thanks for being Number 1!
elsword playa: Picking bottoms up scuba was the best decision I have ever made. Had some issues with clearing my mask, and Mike worked with me until I got it right. Mike offered me to do my check out dives in Florida, because I couldn't handle the cold water. Him and his wife treated me like family. I would not choose anywhere else. Thank you Bottoms Up Scuba.
Porter Rosenkrantz: TERRIBLE!! DO NOT USE BOTTOMS UP SCUBA! They will scam you and make you feel bad if you catch them!! Everything was great until we went to do our practice dives. My wife and I had paid for the book, certification, and test dives in full. We passed the online exam and set up a time to do our test dive with Mike. We met Mike and a few other workers at an indoor pool to do some basic exercises. The plan was to go to a quarry right after and do the deep dive tests. While we were filling out paperwork and waivers, Mike suggests to us that since we have a cruise out of Florida coming up, why don't we fly in a day earlier and do the rest of the dives down there rather than in the cold Indy water. I looked at flights and found out they were pretty cheap to fly in just a day earlier, so we booked those flights. Mike watched us book those flights. Mike then told us to go to the shop and make sure we were in the schedule. We stopped in at the shop and talked to Clay, who then brought to our attention that since we were diving in Florida it would be an additional $600. This was NEVER talked about when we booked our flights for a day earlier. We told Clay this, and he called Mike. Mike said, "Oh I never told them? Well go ahead and take off $200 for them." I told them we would not be paying that, so Clay tried to convince us to do it because it would be really cold here and that we would hate to be cold. I told him I'd rather be cold than fork over $400 I was never informed about. We finally agreed on $350 total for my wife and I, but Clay went on and on about how it would be a "hit" to him and the company. The next day I let them know we would be cancelling our dive in Florida and we will just get certified in the summer. The airline was gracious enough to give us our money back on the flights we bought, but only because I told them that we were scammed by a company of crooks! DO NOT USE BOTTOMS UP SCUBA! They will scam you and make you feel bad if you catch them!!
Libby Hill: Nice store and friendly people will go back for sure
TheDoanZone: Great people and very open to scheduling. Willing to work with you in every aspect of the course. Would recommend to anyone looking to get certified!
Joseph Smith: Bottoms Up Scuba isn't like an ordinary shop. I called Mike the owner on October 1st to price getting my open water certification we spent a good 10 minutes talking about the certification and then shipwreck diving he seems very excited to get people into the sport and he obviously loves it the way he talks about it. Actually the entire shop staff love diving they all treat you like part of the family. They don't just throw you out when you get certified they will call you and ask what you want to do next help you pick your gear. They are all amazing people and I'm glad to have called them because compared to other dive shops in the area who's names I will not mention these guys and gals are second to none. I will be coming back for all of my scuba needs and hope to do some trips with you this summer the experience was great you have a customer for life thank you!
John Mcclain: Just got my open water diver and nitrox certifications from Bottoms up scuba. Every experience I had with the team at Bottoms up was pleasant. Carlos was my instructor and he made every skill easy to learn. His patience and composure made you feel at ease through the entire experience. If you are interested in scuba I'd highly recommend contacting Bottoms up to get your certification. You will really enjoy the entire experience and meet some great people that share your interest. I look forward to gaining my advanced open water certification in the near future through Bottoms up Scuba!
P Hanna: My wife and I haven’t dove in several years and needed a refresher course. An excellent job by Carlos with the class. Exactly what I needed! The owner Mike is a great guy! They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of their students. Highly recommend Bottoms Up SCUBA!

Outer Reef Scuba: what do users think?
Jenni Rubendall: This business is wonderful! Highly recommend them. my husband and I went to them to get trained & certified to scuba dive. One of the owners ,Beth, is who we had the most experience with, was so incredibly patient, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We look forward to going on a diving trip with them too. Great people :) thanks Beth for making my dream come true ! I’m now a diver !!
Jordan Snyder: Newer to the Indianapolis area and don't know anyone in the diving community. Went to Outer Reef to look for a new dive computer. Beth was very friendly and knowledgeable and I walked out with an awesome computer I'm looking forward to diving with in Mexico next month. I'll definitely be returning in the future!
Alex Kennedy: I can’t recommend this place enough! I decided to get my scuba certification to take on more adventures when traveling. I was extremely nervous to get into the water for the first time. You spend 2-3 days in class sessions going over the basics to get you prepared. You then spend 2 days in pool sessions, 1st day is practicing all the knowledge you have gained from your class sessions and putting your skills to the test.I completed my open water dive at Gilboa Quarry, I wouldn’t have made it through without Brent & Beth (the best instructors) they helped made me feel calm and comfortable under the water. My nerves were high but with the guidance and knowledge I gained from these two it helped push me through. I am excited to add more adventure to my life!!
davina isaacs: Words cannot do justice to the level of customer service Outer Reef provides to their students! The instructors were patient, thorough, safe, and very welcoming! As mentioned in earlier reviews, owners/operators Beth and Ryan are AWESOME and passionate about creating a safe and inclusive diving community :) Kuddos to the whole staff for taking such good care of us during our training!!!
Cass FitzRoy: Everything you need and more. They have excursions and classes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are great
Harrison Lott: We loved the staff at Outer Reef! Beth and Ryan were awesome and the instructors that helped with our classes and open water dives were phenomenal. Would highly recommend!
Christopher Duke: Beth and Ryan have a great shop. Brent was a great instructor. I can't wait to meet the of the Outer Reef instructors and continue diving with ORS.
Gabe Paul: We enjoyed our class a few days ago and look forward to continuing our education with Brent, Elizabeth and rest of her awesome staff in a few months!
Scott Reese: I'm in the process of getting my master of scuba certification via Outer Reef Scuba and I am very happy that my wife and I chose them! The owners are undeniably passionate about scuba and have a focus on safety. They have been very welcoming and seem to have an open attitude with all of their divers.I have found the classroom portion informative and engaging. I look forward to our checkout dives as I am left with the impression my wife and I are in good hands.
rohith karnati: They were friendly and were able to accommodate last minute charter trip for me with no hassle. Highly recommend!!
Patricia Luban: Our family of 5 were certified through Outer Reef Scuba. Ryan and Beth did a fabulous job pairing our family with the most caring, patient, and professional instructional couple EVER - Joy and Jeff. Hats off to this amazing couple. Our 3 children are 16 years old and younger. As parents, safety and patience are the TOP 2 priorities when it comes to scuba instruction. It is vitally important that the entire family feels that no question is “stupid” and no request to repeat information (for the 10th time…please) is annoying the instructor. This material is far too important to feel sheepish about asking “yet again.” Being a true teacher is something that comes from the heart - it is beyond “business,” it is an attempt to enlighten and improve someone else with your knowledge. If you want instruction that is centered in true concern for your family’s well being - come here. We could not have wished for more. To say our family “loves” our instructors and holds them dear would be completely accurate.
David Sklar: Outer Reef is hands down the best scuba establishment in Indy. Beth and Ryan - the owner/operators and instructors - work hand in hand with their students and spend extra time training to make sure that they have the skills they need to succeed. They’re not just interested in pushing through students, but really creating a community of quality divers. Whatever your need is whether it’s gear, maintenance, or training to the highest levels, Outer Reef has got you covered.
Erin Atkinson: This shop is amazing! I just got my open water certification through them and can’t compliment them enough. Beth and the others at ORS are absolutely amazing to work with and be around! They worked around my tight schedule and were extremely helpful with getting my gear. If you are considering getting a diving certification, this is the place to go!
Matt Burton: Beth and her team were just outstanding to work with when getting my daughter her scuba gear and certification.
Julie Smith: The people at Outer Reef Scuba are passionate about scuba diving as a sport. They are patient instructors and knowledgeable about products as well. Highly recommend! Our family looks forward to learning more with them in the future.
Jennifer Foster: Have visited the store and communicated electronically. They are always professional and helpful. Glad they opened and can't wait to do a dive trip with them in the future!
robert harrison: Some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Great customer service.
Darren Cooper: Great dive shop and personnel!!! I can not say enough good about Beth and Ryan!! If you need some dive equipment that is not in stock they will get it ASAP!!If you are wanting to try scuba....then you should check them out!!
C M: Outer Reef Scuba is owned by a couple of diver instructors that loves to share their passion for the sport with you. They have alot to offer in both products and training. I just took their First Aid, CPR, AED, Emergency Oxgen, and Bloodborne Pathiogens training with them!!!

Ray Scuba Diving: what do users think?
Amelia Bowen: We’re huge fans of Ray’s Scuba. We did a Discover Scuba dive and loved it so much we completed our Open Water certification. We had three instructors and each was amazing. They were all patient and determined to make sure we felt comfortable with the skills we were doing (and not just push us through). Safety was their biggest concern. We took the plunge to do our first dive trip with the Ray’s Scuba team in Fiji (we did not have any other dives beyond the ones required for certification) this month and had a wonderful time. Ray’s Scuba staff were with us each time we dove as a group and were able to answer questions and support us as new divers. We look forward to more diving with Ray’s Scuba in the future and would recommend them without reservation.
Logan Adkins: What a well made family of owners, instructors, and community of scuba divers. I was a father who was certified, looking to get my two children into the deep bubbles, 12 and 15. Like anyone started on the web with a search. Knowing that it can be a gamble to find, less just say there are different ways some instruct to others. Glenn, owner first over the phone got what i needed, was upfront with pricing. This is one of the most pleasurable hobbies i do, but this is not going to be cheap. But its not terrible. You have to do some planning. and Glenn will be upfront and work with you. But give Glenn a break also as he cant control the outside of his shop stuff. Glenn still has a good hold on what to expect when going to dive stuff. His gear is worth renting. THe important stuff looks brand new, sniffle gear is worn, but its very still useable with no tears or mechanicle defects. From start to finish Glen and his staff love the sport and love to teach. My chidlren had the best time of their lives starting out in scuba safely. THank you for 2022. Logen, Luke, Levi
drew: Ray Scuba is a one stop shop for all your scuba needs. The service and quality of products offered are far better than others. All instructors have a heart of a teacher and take the training lessons are very professional.
Ann Christopher: My 12 year old and I just finished open water certification with Kyle at Ray Scuba. He, and everyone else at Ray Scuba, was amazing, making sure we knew everything we needed to know and making us practice until we were comfortable. Kyle was so wonderfully patient with my son who had equalization issues, and was able to show him a few tricks to help correct them. And, through it all, he made learning fun! If you ever wanted to learn how to Scuba, I recommend the team at Ray Scuba.
mark holt: The staff is absolutely wonderful!!, kind, and helpful!! I cannot wait to go back!! Thanks for being awesome everyone at rays scuba!!!
Travis Howell: Absolutely the best group of people you’ll ever meet!! The dive instructors are top notch you start as a student but leave as a friend!! And they carry a great assortment of products for every price range. I highly recommend them for everything scuba!!
Bradley Nemeth: This is an awesome business! Although I don't scuba (just yet), I went on a trip organized by Ray Scuba to Cozumel, Mexico, last week and got back on Wednesday. It was an absolutely fantastic time! I got to snorkel a few times and saw some amazing sights there. I went with some close friends and made many more friends along the way. The Ray family and staff are top-notch at what they do, are wonderful people, and they know how to host a memorable trip. I also know how good they are with teaching scuba as their instructors are fantastic at what they do and my friends are already pros at scuba diving. I can't recommend this business enough!
Cheri King: We just got back from the most amazing dive trip to Cozumel. For years (maybe decades lol) I’ve wanted to go scuba diving and finally decided to take the plunge (pun intended) after seeing a post from Ray Scuba about the trip shared by a mutual friend.Ray Scuba and staff (HUGE shout out to Jesse Larrabee for his instruction and patience with my many questions) fully prepared me for my certification dives and my confidence level to the point of doing a night dive on this trip.Glenn is readily available to start you on the path to being part of the “cools kids club” with a variety of classes Yo suit your individual needs and the best scuba gear on the market to enjoy an amazing sport that can give you enjoyment for a lifetime.Go see them! You won’t be disappointed :)
Matt Frazier: Excellent, patient, Informative instructors! Super fun diving trips!
James Michael: First class all the way, highly recommend for anyone that wants to give diving a try or for the experienced diver!
Michael Hudson: UPDATE!!!!!!!I can't say I have ever experienced a business that went to such great lengths to correct their mistake the way Ray Scuba has. Once they realized the mistaken they immediately reached out to me to fix it. They did not make an excuse for their actions. Instead they jumped into actions on how to fix the mistake and to ensure it does not happen to the next customer.Terrible Customer ServiceI first met Ray Scuba at the Indianapolis Home Shop. I spoke to the gentleman at their booth about how I would like to get my advance open water and some of the dive trips Ray Scuba offers. After a 30 minute conversation the gentleman suggested I come to the shop for more information about the above topics.Today, 5Feb22, I called at noon to make sure the store was open due to the weather. The person I spoke to on the phone stated the store would be open till 2pm. I made the hour long drive to the store and arrived around 1pm.Once inside the store I was never greeted by anyone or have anyone ask me if I needed help. There were some kids in the back playing video games and a small group of adults in a classroom/meeting room having a pizza party. I even made eye contact with a couple people in the classroom but still no one asked us if I needed help. After roughly 20 minutes of looking around/standing there I left. The only positive thing I can say is that the restroom was clean.
Dillon Langley: We had a scuba trip coming in 3 weeks, Glenn helped us get all our confined water dives done before our trip and wrote a referral to our destination dive center. He went out of his way to make time for us and made sure we were comfortable and prepared. Very professional and very nice. Awesome place to get certified!
Divemaster Ally: Sold some great gear from Ray Scuba thanks!
New Depth Dive Association: New Depth Dive Association appreciates Ray Scuba for letting us use your rental pool facility and gear to host some of our Discover Scubas. Thanks again.
Brent Weisheit: Friendly and knowledged staff that have the best selection in western Indianapolis area. Available for dive training and classes as well as planned trips and excursions.
Justin Owens: Glenn and Christa have a great shop in Brownsburg! I have enjoyed increasing my knowledge and skill set with Glenn and Theresa. Both are excellent and patient dive trainers. Recently I traveled with them to Florida to complete Advanced Wreck, Deep, and Nitrox training. I would recommend using this shop for all your needs.
DANIEL'S DEN: I had great time the dive team, it was a great experience all around!! I'm excited looking forward to my next time out. Once I am certified my daughter will be next!! Thanks again!
Nikki W: Mr. Ray took the time to talk with me about his scuba diving program. He was very considerate and understanding of the personal concerns that I had. Mr. Ray gave me some advice and said he would work with me so that I don't feel so overwhelmed. Thank you Ray Scuba Diving!

Divers Supply Indy Avon: what do users think?
Chapala Drone: Place no longer exists. Phone number has been discontinued.
Lee Till: Charlie helped with picking out correct earplugs, zipper repair kit and even gave me a great deal on a wetsuit rental that was for sale! Great job Charlie!!!
Eric Mohr: Great local dive shop. Join the Indy dive club and have lots of fun and fellowship.
Steve Ricketts: Great shop, knowledgeable staff. Very helpful
C M: Travel, Training, Air, Sales, Service, Rental, and Fun. It is a one stop shop and the home of the Indy Dive Club.
Ron Howard: The shop has 1st class equipment with a 1st class staff and awesome instructors, I won't name names but the two instructors I'm familiar with have the same first names 😉. If you're looking to begin a life of diving, this is the place to get started!
Chris Thomas: Jimmy and his staff are top notch. DS is Indy's premier dive shop
Lance Sansone: Have had great service and specialty courses as well as good equipment purchases
Bob Gruener: This place should be closed down. Bad equipment that leaked and and owner didn't really care. Never go there again.
Ryan Watson: Got some great swimming goggles. Money well spent. The man running this place is very knowledgeable and I plan to attend their school. I'm very pleased to have this dive shop in my community.
Jeremy Rotert: I don't think this store is ever actually open. Windows are filthy like it hasn't been occupied in months. Huge padlock on the door, maybe the landlord is repossessing the store.
Charles Stowe: I went to Avon Midwest Scuba to aquire new snorkle gear and reef friendly sunscreen. Upon asking for the sunscreen they said they didn't have any. The guy proceeds to tell me that he just puts on any old kind of sunscreen because the ocean will dilute it and it does not matter. I proceeded to explain to him the importance of reef friendly sunscreen because of how delicate coral reefs are, hense the "reef friendly" request. I can not, and will not support any business that sells equiptment to explore the environment that doesn't care about taking care of that environment. Needless to say, I bought nothing and promptly left very disgusted. Please do not support this kind of business.
