Uptown Pup: what do users think?
Jennie Deem: I love Uptown Pup! The owners, Kathleen and Mandy, are awesome. I love Jimmy, the trainer, and all the staff (love Bree (sp?) and everyone else!
Marissa Barber: Uptown Pup has been a lifesaver! 🙌🏼 Prior to finding them, our dog had not been able to be groomed. We had multiple failed attempts of grooming sessions (no fault of the groomer), trials of anxiety medications, and a sedated groom. When we were finally at a loss, our behaviorist recommended Uptown Pup. I was skeptical that it wouldn’t work and our dog would never be able to be groomed, however, I was beyond wrong. Uptown Pup, specifically Katie Genier, has worked her magic on our pup. Following a rigid schedule with her, he is able to tolerate a lot more now than ever. He is by no means perfect when it comes to grooming yet but he has made amazing strides and I will be before thankful for her and this company.
Frank DiTillio: Awesome service
Glen Boer: We were looking for a place to board our little rescue dog, Lucy for the first time. After recommendations from our friends, who have used Uptown Pup, and meeting the owner on our first visit, we decided to give them a try. We dropped her off on a Thursday evening and picked her up a week late. We were worried that she might not eat well, since she is very timid around others. When we picked her up, I asked if shes been eating well. They said not at first, but they wet her food and sat with her. They said she ended up cleaning out her bowl every meal. I am so grateful for the staff at Uptown Pup and the care they showed our Lucy. I'm also glad our friends recommended them and I would recommend you give them a try for your furry baby. Thank you again Uptown Pup staff.
Teresa Blackford: Very clean and friendly environment
Claire W: Great facility and caring staff. I trust them with my dog for daycare, grooming, boarding, and training!
Danielle Maulucci: I boarded my dog here for 5 days and I could not have been happier with how she came back. She has had previously poor experiences with boarding and has a lot of separation anxiety due to her past of being abandoned many times. When I picked her up she seemed so happy and I asked the staff how she did and they were able to tell me specific things about her (her quirks and all) that they wouldn't have known had they not spent time with her. I had her in the tummy rub club and enrichment and I believe they genuinely did these things with her which is a relief since many boarding places have you pay for add-ons and don't even do them. She also did not smell like pee or smell like she had a bath which is a good indication to me that they took her out enough and she didn't have any accidents! Would not board my dog anywhere else.
Elizabeth Campbell: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessI took the Foundations class with my dog. The instructor was excellent and we learned a lot. Thank you!
Stephanie Verhoff: We currently have our dog in the day school program for 4 weeks. The staff at Uptown Pup does such a great job taking care of the pets and communicating. We are working with one trainer, Brooke, and she has been incredible to work with. It's so special to see our puppy get excited to be dropped off in the mornings. We get videos every day discussing what our puppy has learned and what to do at home to help implement these skills. In addition to the trainer, the front desk and help staff have always been so wonderful and helpful. As a first time dog owner, they have been so willing to answer all questions we have and direct us to what we need. We have not used the boarding or grooming services yet, but I couldn't imagine taking my dog anywhere else!
David Finta: Positive:ProfessionalismWe loved the foundation's behavior and intermediate training classes. The training approach is force-free positive reinforcement training. Jimmy is an awesome and patient trainer. Thanks, Uptown Pup!
Santosha James: Loved it. I just wish they weren't so booked up for more service.
Heather K: Caring, amazing, and knowledge staff!
Tyler Gordon: Our puppy had her first boarding experience with Uptown Pup. We ended up purchasing the upgraded suite experience which came with 24 hour webcam access so we could check in on her. However, we were never emailed a link to use this service and we’re not able to get ahold of them while on our trip. They ended up discounting our stay 10%. Good not great.
Holly Moore: I highly recommend Uptown Pup. My Jolene is a senior basset hound that is set in her ways and has special needs. The folks at Uptown Pup took very good care of her. 💙🐕
David Feinberg: They show such love towards our dog Sally. She loves going there and is so tired in the evenings after a visit!
Jessica Williams: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI am out of state and had to arrange care for my dads pup when he was admitted into the hospital with covid. Mandi was SO helpful. She was patient, kind and went above and beyond to help me. I am so grateful. We will be life long customers.
Holly Reyome: We love Uptown Pup!
Maaliyah Dixon: Positive:Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Tracey Daughhetee: I was here with my dog to train to become a therapy dog with Paws and Think. Facility was clean and well cared for. The class was after usual business hours, so I didn't have contact with the staff.
CC Allen: 🐶!
Don E: Haven't even got a call back from them about service so thats why the 1 star

Hippie Hounds Dog Grooming and Training: what do users think?
missy lawson: This groomer canceled my appointment bc of a storm. Then said she was willing to do my dogs but wouldn’t be able to finish them. When I wanted to reschedule she refused to respond back. I feel like when I wouldn’t come during a storm bc my dog gets scared she got mad.
Paula Buchanan: Very nice she took good care of My little Lulu 17 years old I misprinted her age in Tik-Tok.
#str8royalty: Great service
Kinley O'Dell: The ladies that work there are so friendly and professional! My pups haircut was super cute and really affordable. 10/10 !
Shawn Carpenter: I've been taking my doggies to her for years and they love it. I won't ever go anywhere else.
Toni Means: For the love of dogs! Individual, kind caring handling and out of the box thinking and consideration where the dog is always put first and making sure they are comfortable and earning their trust is a top priority.
Jeffrey Banker: Awesome Owner!!!!!Toni is so good with every pet ( Family member) that I have seen her work with .Everything is done to perfection and detail.I am an animal lover , Toni is to!!! If you want a wonderful job done , go No Where else!!!! She is definitely the very best in the Grooming Business!!!!!! You Will Be Pleasantly Pleased and Know Your Favorite Friend Has Been Well Taken Care Of . 👍😊
Terry Arnell: The owner is so good with the dogs & her work is fabulous. I would recommend this salon to anyone whose pet needs grooming of any kind. Reasonable rates also.
Marilyn Pacheco: Nice
Dennis Anderson: My Cairn Terrior, Maggie, always looks perfect and actually enjoys the time there as a spa day for dogs.
Stephanie Chastain: My moms dog came back scared and skiddish. Makes me not trust this place.I have changed my review to one star purely for the way this owner responds to bad reviews. They do not take ownership of their businesses actions (whether it's themselves or their employees at the time). I am not interested in hearing the excuses this person wants to use.
Raymond Roberts: Great place and my Springers Love Toni.
Suzanne Plummer: Great place.. Took great care of Tank!!
Mike Mulinaro: Best groomer we have ever had. She truly cares about the dogs. We have 7. Toni always dies a great job on them. They love going to her. We wish her shop was still right behind our house, but she is still close enough. I can see why she wants to work from home. Our dogs won't go to anyone else!
Kyle M: Took my dog here and they charge me $90 and did basically nothing to my dog. His 'haircut' didn't look like it had been done as his hair was the same length as when we dropped him off. He was still shedding everywhere as well. Not good quality and overpriced.
Dustin Norman: The grooviest dog grooming service in town, our dogs love going there and being pampered!
charmerz dvish: Closed as kennel opens next door
Regina Young: The best just the best
Sandy Nguyen: My baby, Gypsy is only 7 pounds so she’s a tiny thing. My previous groomer, I absolutely loved was having issues with her and would take three hours. So I decided to try someone new despite my loyalty to the original groomer. But when I came across Hippie Hounds; I’m immediately in love. Kat (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) did amazing work with Gypsy. She understood what her needs were and delivered what I wanted and more. She didn’t have much issues with Gypsy either! I’m very happy and Gypsy is as well! Thank you Hippie Hounds, you have my loyalty for any of my fur babies. Give them a try! They’re absolutely great!
Steve Wessel: Really good with my old girl and took time to trim her nails right.
Zoe Rogers: We had our first visit last week. I called Monday and they were able to get me in asap. My dog looked wonderful. The groomer loved my dog and she was so sweet. Wish I could post a picture of how good he looks.

Barkefellers - Indianapolis South: what do users think?
Jasmine Merriweather: Nice dog cut on Lilly bear
Tiffany Keeton: Awesome service and prices. Will definitely be using them again
Grace Doss: Don't tip your bathers more than 20% because then the management is gonna take it from them. No 100 dollar tips. I know you guys wanna be kind, but management won't care and they WILL take the tips from the bather
Amber: My puppy is always so happy to play with her friends and exhausted when she comes home. Her favorite place
Gabriella Wardrip: Always friendly and remembers your pups name
Allison Graves: We LOVE taking our puppy to Barkefellers for day care! They’re always doing little photo shoots and post plenty to Instagram so we can see how much fun Jovi is having with the other dogs during the day. Jovi walks in the door so excited, and comes home tuckered out from a long day of group play. Open late, affordable pricing, and a friendly staff makes us confident that our pup is in good hands.
Donnelle Griffin: Great staff. Very helpful explaining things. Amazing with the animals. Very well trained staff. Take great care of my pets. Some rooms have cameras so,u can see your dog while they are boarded. Overall an amazing place to leave your fur baby.
Ferdinand Pages: Either the positive reviews are fake or nobody with a dog over 100lbs comes here. Was told midway through our 2 dogs week long stay that one of them would not be welcome their anymore because their “staff” are too weak to handle a 100lb dog…then they proceed to leave generic fake feedback in their report cards saying how great they are…if they were so great why aren’t they welcome back? If you can’t hire a staff capable of handling a bigger dog then that’s a YOU problem. It’s not the dogs fault.Would not recommend sending your dogs here if you have a larger breed. Overpriced and there’s a good chance your dog will break out of their cage due to incompetent staff.
Ed Campbell: Always courteous, and pet is groomed and always taken care of.
Brandon Ray: Best dog hotel in Indiana. Run by great management!
Kacy Clegg: With mine and my boyfriends unpredictable work schedules and our crazy high energy boy, daycare 3 or 4 days a week has been absolutely amazing! He can definitely be a lot to handle due to being a rescue and not having the best of training. I asked what I could do to help and They gladly took the time to gave a few pointers. Everyone is extremely professional and sweet, I seriously appreciate all the hard work they do!!
Harrison Stepp (Hersh): Went here for the 1st time They did a really good job on my dog's nails and they were very polite and careful with Her
Wendy McCauley: I’ve taken my miniature poodle Minnie Pearl to the south location many times for boarding and grooming. They take good care of her and I wouldn’t trust anyone else but Carolina the groomer with my baby. Always a great experience and my Minnie Pearl loves all the staff.
Gloria Mann: First time and absolutely the last time. The check in was awful. Vet records were in order, but they insisted on calling the vet. Our wonderful pet didn't pass the temp test. So, instead of barkefellers trying again, they just put our pet in the kennel. We paid for the luxury suite, with web cam, personal tuck ins, and cuddle time. After watching the web cam for a long time, I never saw one attendant come and comfort my pet. Cut my vacation short and came to pick up. Then, after all the money, for nothing, I was charged more money. They also had the addiciy to imply for a tip. Save ur money folks.
Jessi: They took great care of our pugs while we've were out of town. It was our first time boarding our furry babies and the staff was very nice and helpful and put us right at ease.
Michael Bates: Totally dissatisfied with customer service. We used this boarding place for the first time. Both our chocolate lab and yellow lab came home limping. We sent enough food for the whole stay, amazingly they gave us back half of it. Hmmmm. Also our chocolate was on a prescription and we asked them for the bottle. They lost it. Asked them to give both dogs a bath. No bath. We will find a place where they really care about our pets.
Kristina Meyers: We had our puppy there for a week. And she seemed well adjusted when she came home. That's always a good thing.
Larry Webb: Picked my dogs up at Barkefellers South Indy July 18th. My dogs had been at Barkefellers for 1 week. Our lab had a prescription diet dog food so both our dogseat the same food. It appears that they must not have fed them our food. I usually have very little left when they come home after a week but this time only half of what I sent was used so this is merely an assumption but my lab has severe diarrhea which happens when she Is fed the wrong food. . This is not to mention the terrible experience I had when I called to see if the grooming was done. Or the30 minute wait to get my dogs while 10 to other people came and went after me. The sad part is I paid 900.00 dollars to be treated like this. My poor lab .Never again.Well it continues, I was given the owners name Cristy Coffee and number. I left a message 6.5 hours ago asking for a return call. Well no call back so far which ki d of falls in line with my experience. I'm getting ready to call the vet since my dog is still having issues which I a assume is from being fed dog food that is not prescribed and I provided.
Jerry Meyers: We've taken our dogs here many times.
Susan Morris: Love to take the dogs there! They are always happy and tired when they come home. Definitely recommend for boarding
Jonathan Winchester: Great with our four legged family!!!

Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center: what do users think?
Jan McVey: They remember my dog, her name, what she likes etc. They seem to care and my dog is so excited to get there! I feel very confident leaving her at Paws and Play
David Badagnani: Took our Golden, Lincoln, in for bath; trim; and nails; and he looks absolutely great! Thanks to all the kind staff for making his spa day a success.
Kristin Mitcham: This was our first time boarding our dog. She returned home with a nickel size wound on her back leg. No report given to us concerning how or when this happened. No communication given throughout her 3 night stay. I was expecting report cards online. I even clarified during one of my phone calls and the receptionist said they usually submit the report cards at the end of the day. The report given over the phone when I called was very vague and could have applied to any dog staying there. My dog would have been better off staying at home and having a family member check in occasionally to feed/water and walk her.
Ken Redmond: Friendly knowledgeable staff who went the extra mile helping me out during training when injury prevented me from participating.
Lyndsey Cobb: My dog, Mango, really loves going to daycare here. I especially like that the staff pay close attention to dogs’ behavior during play and allow them rest time when needed. Mango always comes home tired, happy, and ready to relax with the family.Mango has also stayed for boarding a couple times and the experience went just fine. The only downside is the reservation process. The new portal is a great improvement! I would love to see more spots added so it’s not SO difficult to get a reservation for daycare. I actually couldn’t take Mango for about 8 months because I just couldn’t get a spot. I’m now scheduled for one day a week through August (it’s early March).
Lauren Hanna: Excellent training class, but the customer service was not great. I did not realize that halfway through the class, one of my dogs shots became overdue. We went to 2 or 3 sessions without being told. When it came time for the very last session, which was Graduation, we made the 45 minute drive just to be told that we could not attend and had to leave.
Jim Makosky: Our puppies really enjoyed your puppy school. The trainers are so nice and patient.
Melvin Morris: We really enjoy paws and play and we appreciate their attention to our golden doodle. He was a rescue and came with some bad habits but they have helped us and him work through them.
Caleb Skelton: My dog loved going to daycare at Paws and Play. However, you have to book reservations for group play 6 - 8 MONTHS in advance. I would love to be a repeat customer but it is near impossible to get a reservation.
Kervin Simon: My family has used paws and play for two years and they are truly amazing with all their services offered. My two fur babies go crazy when they find out they are going to group play it makes me smile. We used their boarding services as well anytime we need to take a vacation and their grooming services are unmatched.I was hesitant about writing this review because I don’t want them to get to busy where they can’t fit us in lol. Nonetheless, great service is great service.
Megan Cummins: Our dog, Gianna, has been going to paws and play since she was a puppy, and she LOVES it! This place was recommended to us by our vet, as we were first time dog owners looking for a way to train and socialize our new family member. She went to puppy school there and regularly goes to daycare for socializing. She has completed play and train training and gets her nails trimmed by the groomer on site. She stays there when we go on vacations and always has the best time. The employees are so good to her and they have honestly become her second family. She is so spoiled there! When she arrives, she runs to the back of the counter to greet everyone and she doesn’t look back for me at all. I cannot put into words how much Gigi loves going to paws and play and how happy it makes us to see her so excited. I completely trust them with our baby, and it is so nice to have that peace of mind. On top of that, they are also incredibly affordable compared to other daycares and their facility is always clean.
Stephanie Campbell: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityJessie is so good with our anxious pup for bath and nails!
DIANE O'Connell: My 20 month old pup and I am taking private lessons. So far we are addressing leash manners and it went well. I like the instructor's (Taylor C) approach and we made progress. The facility is huge and offers many services; my pup is getting groomed next week. The personal is professional and the facility is very clean.
Shawna G: My dogs absolutely love this place! I have 2 dogs, one being a rescue that they had done some training with when she was at the shelter. She has some major stranger danger due to her past traumas, but she absolutely loves the staff here! Every time I board her, I am informed that she has made a new human friend! It is extremely relieving to be able to leave my fur babies somewhere and not have to question if they are being cared for! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for a safe place for their fur kids!
Derika Parris: They are fantastic with our doodle. Always sweet and helpful and they do a great job on her grooming. Best groomer in Fishers, hands down!
Christine DeJoy: My dog LOVES going to Paws & Play. As soon as we turn down the side road to the parking lot she looses her mind. As an over protective dog mom, this makes me so happy! When she enters? I feel bad for anyone else on line because she rushes the front desk staff for the hugs and kisses she knows she's going to get. They take such good care of all the dogs and cats in their care that having to leave her is easier because I know she's in good hands. I can't recommend this place and the staff enough.
Alwyn Lee: I send my dog here for boarding and daycare. They work with each dog individually to ascertain their needs...whether they need individual care or are happy to mix with a group. They offer a lot of different services to make sure your fur baby is happy!
Jennifer Marble (Staff): Chase was wonderful with grooming our Cream Golden Retriever for the first time.
Donald Grossett: Paws & Play did an awesome stay for Marci our 3 years old Lab Mix....she was Happy and stayed 10 nights. The team provided updates almost daily and she seemed to eat her food and looked great when we picked her up. Highly recommend.
Linda Hancock: We enjoy taking Molly to Paws and Play!
marcukaitis100: Our first time using Paws and Play, we just moved to the area in October and I didn't get our Yorkie/Poo scheduled right away for a haircut, so he was a little overgrown and shaggy, He went in for just a bath and they did such a great job, they trimmed around his eyes and he looks like such a cute little fluffy bear! I only gave 4 stars because seems like all of the groomers in the area are booked way out, so we have a grooming on February 4th. But we loved the bathing services and can't wait to see how they groom him, he's a finicky dog and sometimes doesn't do well at new groomers, but they said he did great and that makes me happy as his owner.

Barkefellers - Indianapolis West: what do users think?
Melinda Phillabaum: Everyone seemed very friendly and loved what they were doing. Good organization.
Debbie Link: Great staff, amazing atmosphere!
Rachel Vest: Brought my dog in for grooming because my normal place was booked out and came home with kennel cough. I will never bring him back was overpriced and now my dog is sick avoid this place would give 0 stars if I could
Kurt Walton: I am a current guest of Extended Stay America Hotel next door to Barkefellers and I would not recommend this place. The alarms go off all the time at night and there is not a night staff to tend to the dogs. I have seen a few staff members from my window strike the dogs. I would recommend taking your doggies to a better place.
Lacey G: 99% of the posts from March 29th are about a x employees social media post. All the 5 stars are from employees and the 1 stars are from people who believe everything they see on the internet. I saw the post and was concerned since we were scheduled to take our dogs on the 31st. I commented on one of them and the owner called me the next day to address my concerns. He said we were welcome to check out the facility at any time. After our call I decided to go ahead and take my dogs. They were perfectly fine and I felt they were well taken care of. We will be using them again 4 days next week. I always prefer them to be with me, but sometimes they just can't and I trust barkefellers to take good care of them. If you're reading reviews to see if this is a safe place to take your dogs I recommend you just stop in and ask for a tour so that you can see how the place is on any random day.
Kyra Roquet: Amazing place! Staff are very friendly, place was clean, and my dog absolutely loves going to pet sitting there. At first she failed her temp test, but the manager kindly explained that she was too scared and to slowly familiarize her with such a new place. Love love love it!
Rachel McDuffie: Treat the animals terribly. Please take your doggo’s elsewhere
Diane Sharp: Be aware of local west side community Facebook pages sharing horrific images and reviews of this place. A current employee couldn't take it anymore and posted pictures of feces covered animals..filthy kennels. A former manager who quit confirmed that employees are lax, animals are not well cared for so she moved on to start her own pet sitting. Numerous people who had used them once and never again posted their bad experience here.
Ali Chumley: DO NOT board your dogs here. They tend to leave animals in their cages with pee and their own feces. They also leave the dogs overnight with no overnight staff, this is very dangerous. Too many horror stories of dog’s not being treated right.
D S: Do not bring your dog here! They will neglect them.
amanda bowman: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE!!! This poor baby was left covered in feces inside a kennel that was also covered in feces and very few employees cared. If you must leave your baby with someone find a more reputable place to leave them. Don't let them be neglected the entire time they're there.
Brianna Cybella: Place needs shut down.. owners very unprofessional and try to cover up neglect of animals.
caity bot: They leave their dogs in filthy kennels for hours, refuse to properly bathe them when they inevitably get digustingly coated in their own feces, and the owners don’t seem to care or find this a problem. When employees bring this up, the owners completely ignore the issue and refuse to bathe the dog properly if they’re not being paid to do so, leaving employees to shoddily try and bathe them with a hose.Shame on them.
m a: I was honestly worried with boarding My cat Elhpie and My dog Rover here as it was my first time leaving them at a pet hotel while I went on vacation. Fortunately, it was the best decision ever to leave my pets at this place. The service was amazing. Everyone was so patient and understanding not only with me as a first-time customer but with my kids as well. It’s hard to believe what these reviews are talking about, especially since my friends recommended me this place.
daniel ryers: Had excellent service, everyone was very sweet and helpful!!! The best pet hotel i’ve ever taken my fur babies to!! Hope they get over this huddle and ignore the hate going on!!! This place deserves more than 5 stars for sure.
taylor miller: First of all, all these randomly back to back 5 stars seem very odd like they’re fake lol. Secondly this place is clearly awful -feeding peoples animals the wrong foods when they have special food needs. & leaving animals covered in their own feces. Animal neglect! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! How sad…. & shame on you guys! Should be shut down!
Andre Diaz: Best groomers and staff around! I’ve had both my dogs Tigre and Benji groomed here. Madison does an amazing job with Tigre, and Nico has always been so patient with my boy Benji. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
alandra delarosa: 👎👎 don’t trust them
Audrey Fredette: Managers need to be fired. They treat dogs horribly. Do NOT bring your pets here
Matt Stinson: Witnessed some of the most heart wrenching conditions one could bare to see.... The reviews are going around the media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, etc...) with the pictures attached, along with one of their own employees quitting her job for the same reason I'm leaving this review. (A few up there care, but most just see it as a job....)
Chuck Terrell: The last stay, our pet was not given ANY of the treats we provided. It's hard telling what else they didn't do.Then today, they called to cancel our appointment we made weeks ago, saying it was a mistake. We have movers coming and are moving out of state, we had no other options. The manager said she would find a place for her. My wife arrives with our dog and she tells her they can't do it. We had to come up with a solution to have her get a spa day and stay in the spa. I hate being lied to like that. Avoid this location or Barkafellers all together!!!

Furr: Pet Spa and Wellness Clinic: what do users think?
Amy Callahan: Everyone I've interacted with at FURR has been really helpful and nice. I get to chat with the groomer at drop-off to make sure we are on the same page. Convenient location and parking near Mass Ave. They text appointment reminders and also text when my pup is ready for pickup.
Jonathan Smith: Can't say enough about how well they groom our Australian Shepherds - Cody our groomer really understands our pups and what is best for their coat health and overall appearance. Highly recommend for difficult to groom breeds.
Richard Plummer: One of the best groomers in town...
Jesse Walker: Terrible company , money hungry . Don't take your pets here .
John M Connor: We have been taking our Bichon to FURR for almost two years, but last month he was scalped and traumatized. Using an electric razor set to ¼” is a rookie mistake. Why the trauma, we cannot say. The management’s response was defensive.
Jesi Harrison: Excellent service wonderful groomers!
Sydney Jaynes: Always professional and does an amazing job! I also use the self-service tub (or station) for my older dog who has anxiety.
Lynn Norman: I took my 1 year old Shih Tzu King for a grooming and cut. I did not recognize him when I returned. The groomer shaved him naked. Who does that to a Shih Tzu? Not to mention she didn’t call me to discuss it first. The reason she gave was that he was matted. It had been about 8 weeks since his last grooming, so I’m not sure how severe that could have been. I feel so bad. He hasn’t stopped shaking. It’s so cold outside. I don’t want to take him out to potty. I took him to see the vet today because I was concerned about him. The vet said the cut was way too severe for him and with him being a double coated breed, that should have never happened. The good news is that it will grow back. We just have to wait and see if there’s any permanent damage. Needless to say, he will never go back.
Yessica Gonzalez: Horrible place. I've taken my dog here a couple times and this Wednesday when i took her it was bad. She came back super scared which has never happened before. She doesn't let me pet her. I also checked her foot and there was a cut with dry blood. Her neck is full of rashes and ever since she got back she's not doing good. She keeps shaking and doesn't even want to eat. Now i'm going to have to take her to the emergency room so they can see what is wrong with her. My friend also took her dog there and they cut his stomach. All they said was "sorry." If you take your dog here be careful. If you're thinking of bringing your dog here, don't.
Brian Beauchman: Friendly, professional, and masters of their craft. Couldn’t have been happier with both visits. Brought my golden doodle for the first visit and my long haired cat on the second. Both visits exceeded my expectations. I plan to be a regular client at this location. Would give ten stars if allowed.
Andrew nakamoto: This place is great! Kelsey is always personable and takes amazing care of our animals! 5 stars!!!
NilBallew: PLEASE READ REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Check they’re google reviews and read feed back on NextDoor app! THIS PLACE IS ABUSING DOGS AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT. Hard to sue them and present exact fault because they can just deny but repeated stories from different people, something is up! Hope this place gets shut down asap!! Not right!
EpicSkizzle_YT B: If I could give 0 stars I would. At first I thought I found the perfect place for my pup, and when I arrived not so much. The communication is seriously lacking at this place. I had scheduled to drop off as early as 730. Got there and Groomer said your drop off isnt until 9. I explained while making my appointment that I needed early as possible due to meetings for the day. They said that they were going to do the best they can to get my pup in at the time I was told. OK great. I was grateful. As the conversation grows about the cut my pup needed- Groomers energy explaining to me what they needed to do to my pup had me very uncomfortable. Groomer was placing blame on basically everyone and energy was so high strung while talking to me to the point I wanted to take my pup and run for the door. Another Dog had come in to be groomed and was shaking so bad. That was my sign to just get my pup and go. I feel if the Groomer was that high strung and moody while talking to me its hard telling how my pup would be treated in their care. NO THANK YOU! When I think of people who love animals i get a warm fuzzy feeling. I just automatically think they have good hearts. This place really needs to work on their customer service skills and communication for appointments. Think twice before scheduling here.
Danielle Maulucci: I dropped my dog off here for a bath and brush. Exactly 20 minutes after dropping her off I was called and told she had been bathed, dried and was now anxious in her kennel and clawing at it so I had to come pick her up. They were worried she may hurt herself which I understand. They were nice when I picked her up and did not charge for the bath and dry. However, I am not sure they are great with dog handling or behavior. No dog enjoys the kennel. In the 20 minutes she was there did they try giving her treats? Bonding with her? I’d like to add my dog is crate trained and LOVES the vet where far worse things have happened to her (procedures etc). I think some love would go a long way with building trust with animals who are in a new strange place. However, not sure how you can expect a dog to come somewhere new and get bathed, dried, and calm in a total of 20 minutes? I expect a place to give some effort in calming these anxieties, not just call me and interrupt my day to come pick her up just 20 minutes into a simple bath and brush. Dog handling is a quality every groomer should have.
V3n0M P71h0n: From what I can see of the responses from the owner, they seem like they can't take blame for what their staff did. They are always either shifting the blame onto the customer or they are shifting the blame on the dog. Own up to your mistakes, other wise it makes you look very unprofessional. Also, they seem very passive aggressive.
Megan Palmer: I’ve taken my dog to this groomer a few times now. At first I was pleased with my service but it has gotten progressively worse. My dog used to have minimal issues with nail trimmings but now she is petrified, yelps, and runs away at the sight of clippers. In addition, the last time I took her to this groomer they did not perform half of the services that I paid for. They then told me “the self service bath is $20”. Other groomers have not had issues with her in the past, but I fear I will not be able to take her to any groomer now due to the negative experience she had with this groomer. I would not recommend Furr pet spa for your dog.
Jacey Allen: I have been trying to get my puppy an appointment for a puppy groom and have been very unpleased by the responsiveness. I first tried to ask questions using the Contact Us page on their website. The website said they should respond in 48 hours. It was over a week with no response. I then resorted to calling and any new clients have to leave a message… they don’t actually answer the phone. I left a message to get more information and I did receive a response within 24 hours (like they say in the answering machine message). The lady I talked to was very nice and helpful. I mulled over options of where to get my puppy groomed and ultimately called back again a couple days later to actually schedule the appointment. Again no response in the promised 24 hours. I called a second time… no response. Maybe they’re busy, maybe they’re answering machine is broken, maybe they forget to call people back. I believe if they want new clients and new business, they should do a better job at answering and responding to calls and emails.
Brandon-David Rau: My girlfriend dropped off our dog first thing this morning to be groomed at an appointment we made over a month ago (the last time he was groomed). After not hearing anything from the facility, since she had to go to work, and I am at work until 5 on the northside, she decided to go over there and check out what was going on herself thinking that they may have been busy and just hadn't gotten to calling yet. Upon arriving she was made aware that Kane had not been groomed yet (mind you, he had been there for 6 hours now) because "other people requested pickup times earlier." Meanwhile while making the appointment she was never given the option to "request a pickup time." So she chooses just to pick up Kane because she has to be at work and I can't get there in time before they close. When she is checking out they let her know that he has had a bath, and that was going to be $70. So not only did the service not get done, we were charged $70 for something either her or I could've done at a PetSmart for significantly less money. I am not sure what is going on, but that is unfortunately the last time we will be trying to use them for grooming. Hope everybody else has much better luck if you choose them for their services.Response to the owner: This is because she was not aware that she was able to request a pickup time. She was under the impression that it was first come first serve, it's never been an issue until now when he sat there for six hours and only received a bath. She declined your service because nobody would have been able to pick our dog up by the time you guys closed. Once again, I get off at 4:30 in Noblesville and she had to be at work by 2:00. Had we known you guys took "pickup time requests" and it didn't matter what time we dropped the dog off, we would've asked to get him early and have him done early, since we dropped him off when you guys opened.
Sarah Kilgore: Critical:Professionalism,Reliability,ResponsivenessGood luck getting into this place! This company does not answer their phone calls. When they book your appointment they will tell you the wrong drop off time and ask for you to pay a late fee. Even though you already had a scheduled appointment they will tell you that they no longer have room for your fur baby to get groomed...
Matthew Speckman: We stopped taking our pup here a while ago for two main reasons:1. We presented them with pictures of the cut style we wanted each of the four times we went in, and the cut he came out with never resembled anything close to what we were asking for. Perfection certainly isn't necessary but shaving a dog down when you're asking for a specific cut type doesn't seem professional.2. The last time we took him in, they charged us a $15 extra handling fee because he apparently moved around too much on the grooming table. Their recommendations were to bring him in more often (pay them more) and to sedate him before his haircuts. That's astonishingly little effort for a DOG GROOMING BUSINESS to give prior to relying on extra charges and extreme measures. If a dog doesn't like a stranger tugging and pulling on him, it seems there should be a little understanding on the part of the folks being paid to handle the service.Edit: I saw the response from the owner, and suffice to say we likely just don't agree on a number of things. I get the theory behind bringing him in more often to get used to your people touching him, and I don't believe extra fees are "a waste of money", but I definitely believe they should not just be tacked onto the bill and handed to me to pay without question as if we are doing something wrong, with the solution being "bring him back to us more often" when it wasn't clear you were making any effort to really work with him or cut him in the manner we requested. You noted he was a puppy, and that most pets are not comfortable in one or two visits, which is exactly the reason an additional fee was unwarranted and some understanding would have been highly valued as a newer customer trying to navigate how to best make improvements. We found a place that agreed with us on this and have been nothing but accommodating and loving to our dog. Our dog still has quirks that needs to be worked with when grooming, so perhaps we just got lucky and found a place that does too much without extra compensation in the owner's opinion, but to me, it just seems reasonable for a grooming business. I appear to be in the minority, so I'm happy others don't feel the same way. Thanks for the response.
Oliver Gayfield: It's like I have a new cat. His coat is so clean and fluffy. It actually feels like I'm rubbing a FURR coat!(See what I did there?)Thank You for Everything!

Barkefellers: what do users think?
Christion Hall: Horrible place never trust your babies with them
frankie galley: Care for the animals, seeing reviews on facebook of animals being mishandled and not taken care of. absolutely disgusting
Joseph Healy: My main issues center around not feeling like this place actually cares about my dog. My wife and I bought the 10 day daycare pass and we have used 6 of them. At the end of the day whenever I ask how she was or how she did, the staff can't answer that question and say they don't know. Frequently I'm standing in the lobby waiting for about 5-10 minutes while others pick up their dogs in a fraction of the time. When I've asked what takes so long, they claim that they can't find her because she's a different color than is normal for her breed. The place is very big and very nice, but at the end of the day, it feels like they just don't care about your dog the way other daycares in the past have shown they do.
Bret Williams: Dog never slept a wink
Brant Davis: Expressed other options but overall was helpful.
shelly hamrick: Love Chrisy. She is the best. My dog loves her.
Marvin Brannaka: Organized and secure caregivers for your dog.
charles dale: My only complaint is they lose our dog toys. Happen twice now. Our dog is a strong chewer so we have to invest in expensive chew toys. The last time he was only boarded for 24 hours.
Amanda Finin: Me and my pup love this place! The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. My dog does like being in a crate so I was so worried how he was going to be the first time I bored him here. After picking him up I received a report card for him and they told me he got lots of attention from the staff and did great! I love that this place offers a variety of services. It makes it so easy for me. My pup just finished up level 1 day school for obedience training and I feel like he is a completely new pup and the trainer empowered me to feel more in charge of my pup. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a doggie daycare, boarding place, or grooming service!
German Alejandro Russi: Ok just okay, he or she left water in one of teddy’s ear what a mess and extra cost
Anthony Island: I've taken my dog to the Northeast and South locations. My dog always has a great time. The people working at both locations are always quick to great when you enter the building. Everyone is friendly, kind, professional, and attentive to me and my dog.
Sarah Smith: Izzy loves to go play.
joseph Armstroff II: They always do so well with our fur baby even when she struggles with anxiety issues
Amanda Caito: I really had high hopes for this place and I was pretty disappointed…the facility itself is very clean and beautiful and the lady who contacted me on the phone was so very sweet and helpful. Very friendly in getting my dog set up. However, my experience In person was far from that when I brought my fur baby in for pet sitting. The staff were so apathetic and didn’t seem to want to try. Idk where the nice gal on the phone went bc she wasn’t there at all. I had asked how my dog had been that day and no one could answer. That was a red flag. My dog was obviously dehydrated so no one must have given her access to water. Her pee was super dark and she chugged two bowls of water when we got home. She reeked too. Idk what she was laying on but I’m going to have to take her to the groomer it’s so bad. I don’t think anyone took her out because she had a big bathroom break before we got in the car and had a large accident when we got home. She hasn’t been herself the whole evening extra wound up, impulsive, and skittish. No reports on the day on their portal, no photos or live stream available for the location, and no one could tell me what happened today. My dog can’t tell me what happened and if she was treated right. Again, I wanted to like this place but I don’t think I’ll be back.
sewa bhatt: A1 service. The groomers are great.
Danielle Gross: So, overall I’m not happy with my experience and I won’t be bringing our two pups back. Initially my first conversation with this location was great with booking and helping me with our time constraints. I had to go to on an unexpected work trip and my spouse was already on one. Our girls were going to be there for a day and a half and pick up around three. I was told the best thing to do is to book them for a bath later in the day and that will extend their stay. A basic bath is $20 per dog and I agreed to that. I was also told they were being booked for a temperament test for the second morning of their stay. One at 8 and one at 9am, so they can get some play time and then a bath after. I got home from my trip earlier than expected (9am) and decided not to pick them up so they could play in group. Come to find out upon picking them up they did not do a temperament test or play group and my baths are $45 a piece for a basic bath. They just got groomed last week so there was no reason to pay that. It cost me $191 for a day and a half. I’m frustrated because your pricing was not accurately quoted and you didn’t do what you said you would.
Darla Dutton: I feel sorry for any precious pet left there.Look up Darla Dutton vs BarkefellersSmall claims court Indianapolis!!!
Amanda Kowal: UPDATE - This is in reply to Barkefellers response below - I spoke to Julie on Friday, and she was the one who told me my dog would be “accommodated” in extended daycare the rest of the stay. Nothing changed even after speaking with Julie. Clearly there is no follow through, even after complaints and promises to rectify.REVIEW - Boarded my dog in a luxury suite, which advertises the suite includes All Day of Play (MORE than five hours in daycare a day). I was very clear prior to booking that not having my dog stuck in a room for hours was very important to me, and I would prefer to book somewhere else if they couldn't guarantee he wouldn't be. I was reassured he would be in daycare the entire duration daycare was open, with the exception of meals. First day, they have him back in his room for the day at 3pm. I called to ask what was going on, and was told that because their daycare was so booked, ALL of the boarding dogs are only permitted to be in daycare from 10-3. The rest of the time they are in their rooms. For comparison, per their own confirmation to me prior to booking, daycare is open 6:30a - 6:30p Monday - Friday, and 8:30a - 6p on the weekends. I was obviously very upset by this, and was told my dog would be allowed to be in "extended" daycare for a one-time accommodation (though their own website advertises the suite comes with a full day of daycare, and I was told that prior to booking?). Next day I check the cameras, and, again, my dog is back in his room for the day by 4p (and, again, he didn’t leave his room until 10a). Morning I picked him up, I didn't see anyone come in to take him out to go potty, and he was pacing back and forth in front of the door and scratching at the glass. I checked the cameras again shortly after (around 9:45a) and could very clearly see a large puddle of pee on the ground. My dog hasn't had an accident in years, and the size of the puddle indicates to me that he had the accident because, by 9:45, he still had not been let out. Absolutely will not be going back here again.
Rita Marie: Great atmosphere and the workers are so friendly. My dog had razor burn at a different groomer before so I was so glad finding this awesome place! They took note of my dogs trauma and he looked the cutest I’ve ever seen him after being groomed.
S. Warren: We love taking our animals here out of convenience but the ppl that work here are just SO RUDE 90% of the time it has made us question whether it’s worth it. The venue does seem nice and clean, and our pup loves going to stay.
Robert “Bopper Indy” Koehne: My best buddy Tag love the staff. The facilites are always clean. I even like to stop in during daycare to check on my buddy. The staff loves their guests. Grooming services are fantastic. Tag loves to get his nails trimmed and a good spa treatment.

Alpha K9 U: what do users think?
Debra Stouffer: Best place to train your dog. So many choices and activities. Dock diving, obedience classes, agility.
KT Berry: Sent my 9mo and 2yr old pups there together for Board and Train and now we have the 6 week package of training together.... great place, very happy!
Randy Walker: We love this place. Training oprions, boarding, playtime, swimming pool and great facilities.
francia salas: We emailed and asked about training, were told we could join the class that had already started okay great sent all the forms ect. That night we got lost were a few minutes behind, get there and no one was in front office. No one picks up the phone. In the office we can see there is a large room with people and their dogs but there is not a single sign saying how to get there, we ended up leaving. I emailed them back and told the woman hey this is what happened and she never replied to apologize or explain where we were supposed to even go. She knew we would be brand new, wouldn’t they keep an eye out? Or share directions to this random location somewhere in their building?Very disappointed in their customer service. I had seen some people love them and others complain about the communication and now I can see why.Don’t bother coming here.
Hannah Fuller: Very frustrated as they never answer their phones and send clients straight to voicemail
Alex Nowicki: Nothing but the best! Have continued to take care and be accommodating for our high maintenance pup!
Robert Boaz: Very good my dog does a lot better
Jason Osgood: Awesome place as soon as u walk in very helpful people showing us all the comforts of this facility.
Wendy's Woof World: We have been to 2 puppy classes and having A-blast.
Dawn Williams: Trainers and owner are very welcoming and patient.
Emily Slatt: Alpha K9 helped Walter, my high energy German Shepherd, learn some basic manners. Staff is friendly and professional and the facility is great. I can’t thank them or recommend them enough!
Judy Otis: They are not just good...they are the best.!!!!!!!
Taylor A: Alpha K9 has been such a wonderful experience for me and my dog. The staff is very kind and extremely well structured. They are always checking for our understanding and ask for our questions. My dog is a bit stubborn, but with their help he now knows his basic commands, and they even helped with other behavioral issues outside of what we learned in class. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'll be suggesting Alpha K9 to all my friends and family that need to put their dog into classes!
Hugh Hunkeler: I've had two dogs trained here, and it's eye opening to learn the right ways to communicate with your dog. There are a lot of ways where you can give your dog mixed signals, and training here is a good way for you to learn how to allow your dog to please you by following your commands.
Edwin Ratchaganathan: We have booked grooming for our puppy 3 months back and we have called couple of times and make sure the appointment. The day comes and we are excited and to drop our puppy. During that time, Lori was asking vaccines record and we told that we have already sent it. They have asked us to resent it and we did. Then, they have found expired rabies vaccine. They have asked us to get the vaccines and we bounce back to our vet and get the appointment and once again come back to K9. But This time she said she can’t take it until after the 24 hours of the vaccine. All the rules are really good. But no information upfront to us and we were running around and no help.Very important reason to write this review was how they (Lori) treated us. Very rude tone. They upset our whole day. If they continue the same style, I’m sure they will losing their position just matter of competition.I don’t recommend this place .. not professional or nice humans for our animals
Clayton Banks: If I could give them negative stars I would! The worst money I ever spent. We sent our dog there for 2 weeks they kept him 2 weeks and 3 days! I went to pick him up and he new a few commands as long as he was on a leash but off leash he didn’t follow any command and still doesn’t! We spent $1200 and nothing to show for it! I assumed that board and train meant they would get a lot of time with a trainer! We’ll come to find out they get an hour a day and not always with same trainer! I could have saved a lot of money and just had a trainer come to my house! He is no better now than when we first took him there!! Don’t waste your money on this place! You will be disappointed!!
Amber Good: A great place to learn how to communicate and live with your dogs according to doggie social-hierarchal behavior. Also a great place for them to safely learn how to swim. Bonus: if you're interested in learning the sport of dock diving, they are great instructors.
Sonya Ruedlinger: We have used Alpha K9 University for training, boarding, and grooming. It is easy to see that the trainers love what they do.With boarding, we know that our fur babies will be well cared for while we are away.I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Connie Pidgeon: Love this place Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable!
Bethany Carter: Staff were interactive and connective. Safety is valued and they ensure your dog has a positive experience. They are able to cater to different levels within a class.
Chad Pitt: Great training, our pup came home a new dog!

Indy K9 Groom: what do users think?
Lynette Meece: Pam did so good with my little girl Ruby! Would definitely recommend. Before and after pictures posted.
Julie Lindsey: Pam groomed my Labrador puppy and did an amazing job. I have received several compliments and could not be happier myself. Thanks Pam! We will be returning!
Carol Feeser: My Dog looks great.
Nichelle Sims: i like the customer service she treated and had my babies looking and feeling like royalty. The only thing i would suggest is that she tells new customerscash or check. But this is a place i highly recommend.
Anthony Jackson: Pam came in to groom my dog 🐕 on Labor because it fit my schedule. She did a wonderful job. Highly recommend her to anyone.
Bridget Arthur: They are the best and my Queenie loves them.
EST GEE: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Paul Cummings: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueFirst time visit here. Took my Coton de Tulear mix (who has had a couple of bad experiences from the popular high volume places downtown) to Pam yesterday. She is absolutely wonderful! Visit went great! My dog was not stressed at all and the quality of the groom was perfect. I highly recommend Indy K9 Groom!
Kim Whittaker: Always an awesome experience with Pam. She loves what she does and her passion for her profession shows! Professional, reasonable price and always easy to get an appointment! Highly recommend her and will continue to do business with her!!
Vikki Arnold: We started taking our schnauzer to Pam when she was about 3 months old. That was almost 13 years ago. She groomed her for over 10 years. Now that she is gone we still take her sister (my granddog) monthly. Pam is the only one that can handle her. She’s a little bit cranky to say the least. Pam does a wonderful job with her. We highly recommend Pam and when we decide to get another dog Pam will do the grooming!🐶❤️
Tanya Beyzerov: Pam is a wonderful groomer. Before coming to her shop my dog was timid and hated grooming. Now he loves it. He gets excited every time he realizes he is going there. He is not stressed, he is happy, and looks beautiful with healthy, shiny coat.
Karin Russell: Pam does an excellent job grooming my Portuguese Water Dogs. Not only do they look beautiful and smell wonderful, but she is so kind and caring with them. I highly recommend her!
tamala karch: Great service and grooms!

Animal Arts: what do users think?
Arijuana K: Animal Arts is AMAZING!!!! Thank you everyone for being so kind. This was my doodles first grooming due to his anxiousness. Taylor was very patient with Harlem and done an amazing job. We are both satisfied customers and will be returning.
Rebecca Murray: I can tell my 13 year old senior English bulldog was well taken care of! The staff was sweet and gentle with her. Will definitely be back. Quality work as well
Jason Kraus: Canceled our grooming appointment last minute and told us they can’t get anyone in due to a loss of groomer, and we should find another groomer because they wouldn’t be able to get us in. Called the next week to see about being a new client and was able to book an appointment later in the month. Been taking our dogs there for 7 years, terrible customer service and relations
Nate Smith: My little dog always gets a great haircut and comes home smelling great. Highly recommend.
Evan Karn: Did a great job on my Newfoundland. Worked him in and I am so appreciative because he had so many matt's.
rick Belden: Not happy, service is good, grooming excellent but very pricey! $90 wow especially when they don’t tell you of a price increase the last two visits! Also they keep your pet in a cage for 6-7 hours! Disappointed!
Brandi Bowers: Mallory is incredible! She does an amazing job & takes care of your pets as if they were her own. Highly recommended!
Dianne Terrasi: We had a very pleasant experience at aAnimal Arts. Savanah did a great grooming job. Poppy is a very shy, timid girl. Savanah was kind, caring and put Poppy at ease. A very enjoyable experience for all of us. Thank you!
Hannah Schmidt: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,Value
Tracy Kueber: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessAll we have to say to our dog, “Do you want to go to Ms. Kristie’s and get pretty?” and she goes crazy with excitement! She LOVES her visits whether it’s a full groom or just a nail trim. Would highly recommend.
Debbie Kelly: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Value
Terra Emery-Davis: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueA wonderful place to have my furry children groomed! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Aimee Frazier: Best Experience my doodle has ever had. She hasn't been professionally groomed in over a year after a bad experience at a shop, she was too scared to even go back in the door. When i tried to find a new salon for her, most everyone else is not taking doodles, because of the amount of work their coats take to maintain and owners being unaware.A friend recommended Animal Arts and i reached out immediately, and heard right back i was willing to wait for an appointment as long as necessary but we got in within 2 weeks. They were so kind to her when we arrived, and they could tell she was a basketcase. After a year of my husband and i doing the best we could and cutting out mats randomly as we found them, we made sure to left them know we have zero expectations and to do what they needed. To be honest when we picked her up she looked better than ever, even when she was getting groomed regularly. She was in a great mood when she got home, like she had had her best day ever. We will definitely be back.
Kevin Bird: Dog looked good and came out happy. Came here after another place left him with several scabs where short.
ahelmy7: Experience in my opinion.
Lucinda Taylor: My experience is always awesome. Kristy is the best n my dog loves her ❤.
Ellen Mead: They are great! Our mini golden doodle loves going.
Melinda Merryman: My dog is so tricky to get her nails cut. The staff makes so many special accommodations for her, and they do a GREAT job! I've tried so many places, and the staff here does the best for my very fearful pup! She is definitely a difficult dog to trim, and the staff is so good to her and have so many ideas on how to make the experience a little more tolerable for her.
Marlene Templeton: Happy with the service and care we receive from the staff, especially our groomer. Our pets always look great.
pallawat@gmail.com Luckey1: Great service; friendly and caring
