Most of my process took place remotely from California. Jeremy helped me design the ring in-person during a visit to Indy, and then remained attentive and engaged throughout the process of having the mount made, the diamond selected and fitted, and the completed piece inspected by family members (since I was not able to visit to see it myself). Finally, the process of shipping and handling was painless, and the ring arrived well-packaged and in pristine condition.I would strongly encourage anyone, local or remote, to work with the fine jewelers at Windsor Jewelry for their engagement, or for any other jewelry needs.Of course, it goes without saying: she said "yes!" Even better, she loves the ring, and especially loves that I designed it for her, according to her tastes, "myself" -- but of course, we here all know it was only possible with the help of Windsor Jewelry and their custom ring partners, Gabriel & Co. :)

A high end jeweler isn't usually a place for kids, but they've always been kind when I have my kids in town. If I ever get to buy something expensive and sparkly, they'll be my destination.

The owner helped me personally and he was so patient and kind and truly wanted to help us find the best diamond engagement ring. We shopped all the local spots. Reid Nicholes didn’t seem to want to help us because we didn’t come in dressed appropriately I guess (a hoodie and freezing weather 😂) and Diamonds Direct was WAY over priced I felt like they were trying to pull on over on us. But we felt accepted, seen, and cherished at Barrington. They are our jewelers for life!

Jessica Morley: I was given family rings for my engagement and took them to Shane Co to get resized. To my horror when the salesperson came back and said my Grandmothers rings were completely FAKE. The sales lady then showed me replacement rings to buy, overwhelmed I just wanted to leave. Cue the family drama over fake rings. I was told to get a second opinion and that is how I ended up at Patora. I met Holly who was super nice and told her NOTHING about the drama. She immediately knew exactly what kind of rings they were and tested all sorts of rings to show me they were in fact real. After getting an appraisal done, they were in fact VERY real, just very old nice diamonds from before the 1920's. Holly was patient and listened to me ramble on and on. She sent them to be sized, appraised, and had the prongs fixed. If you go ask for Holly, she saved the day and is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Holly!!!!

Carol Kaz: I do not recommend this jeweler for any type of repair. My wedding ring was repaired in July 2017 and within a month the “gold” began chipping away. Their resolution was to charge me for the repair again or sell me a replacement ring, of course, but who wants that? Shoddy, questionable workmanship and even worse customer service. This long-time customer will go elsewhere and I recommend you do too. Disappointed.

I don't live nearby so this is quite inconvenient having to drop it off and pick it up again a day or so later.
