The games are physical versions of “escape the room” or "breakout" video games. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons, and space stations, and are popular as team-building exercises.
Great time with family. We didn't make it out but only needed 2 more minutes. Our Adventure Guide was great at helping us and a lot of fun. The host out front was great with getting us drinks and taking good care of us. They even got us in early! Great time, will be back again.

Rob Artz: Great escape room. The staff member was really knowledgeable about the particular room and the background story. You will have to find parking downtown, but other than that, it is great.
Pamela Scott: Had a lot of fun! Jenna was an excellent host and really helped make this a challenging but rewarding and enjoyable experience. We made it out just at the last moment. We did the Art Museum and it was just the perfect level of difficult for a group of 4 with only a little experience in escape rooms.

Thaddeo Pia: We did room Space 2112, which was very tricky. It was still well built and creatively constructed. Our game master, Chase, was patient and generous with hints. Enjoy the time, and feel challenged.

I've had some bad experiences at escape room-type places in the past (mostly due to lazy and unattentive staff), but have always had a great experience with the staff at The Escape Room in downtown Indy and Fishers.
Michael Crandall: We've been coming here for a couple of years now. Before we've always had a good experience but they've recently done away with the 2 way radios that they used to use. Now it seems like the games masters aren't as responsive which kills your time when waiting for a response. Before, with the radios, responses we're immediate.
Jonathan Bryant: I thought it was a great time with friends! A lot of challenging locks and puzzles.We went to the wyvern room and my only suggestion would be to mention that there is a dragon located in the room!Good time!
Marah Barker: I had a group of 6 for the Bank Heist. This was the group's 8th escape room. We would have finished the room had we not had to jiggle with locks that wouldn't open. Max did a great job being our host, but I was super disappointed by how hard it was to open some things. We had to fiddle with locks for 10 mins, following the directions precisely, because a lever kept sticking. The Bank Heist is their hardest room, but I am confident we would have finished it if it wasn't for the locks.Also, they only gave us two pieces of paper and we needed a ton more because the room was super math heavy. Might be back, but not for awhile.

Kylyn Swank: my fiancé and i had an amazing experience. we completed the collection in 55 minutes. it was an amazing room and they do something i’ve never seen an escape room do before, they hide poker chips in their rooms to entice searching, thaws allow you a chance to spin their prize wheel! have fun!!
Grady Cabell: Awesome puzzles and reasonable prices. The escape rooms had everything I wanted. From challenging puzzles to mass chaos and confusion (Otherwise known as family members), the prices are definitely worth it. (And I just happened to beat the hardest level there!! The Submarine)

You can tell they spend time on each prop and puzzle to make sure it is thought out and as escape room enthusiasts we really appreciate that! We will for sure be back! Tabatha Pinkert: Wonderfully themed escape room. The puzzles were great and the rooms were awesome. The receptionists were a hoot. I wish our game master was a little more enthusiastic or engaged but overall it was a great experience and we do plan on going back to do the other rooms. We did Missing Maestro.

She had to give us a few small hints but she was great at letting us figure things out on our own. We finished with 16 seconds left remaining on the clock! Definitely recommend trying this place and we will be back!

Brian Jones: The family & I really enjoyed the Christmas Caper room. It was perfect for the entire group (2 escape room first-timers & 3 seasoned players)--everyone was able to contribute. We appreciated the guidance throughout the game, as it was just enough to point us in the right direction without giving us the answers. The staff was fantastic as well. We would whole-heartedly recommend to others.

The game masters are friendly and provided just the right amount of encouragement and guidance. The rooms are very well done with good props. The flow of each room worked very well and you can tell the game masters spent a good amount of time making them just right.Really can’t wait to go back an complete the others!

Oddry Amaz: I love this place. The owners clearly love all things creepy and spooky. Trying to solve puzzles while having spooky stuff pop out and scare you sounds like it would be hard but it’s actually a lot of fun. And They put the challenge levels and the scary levels on the website so you have an idea of what your getting into. They also have really creative ways of giving hints if you need them that don’t ruin the atmosphere. It’s a great for adults And kids. But I will warn you if you are afraid of the dark this is not the place for you.

Although they couldn't make it out (too much screaming and not enough listening 😂) they still had a blast. I would definitely recommend.

Geoffrey Furgason: Not a typical escape room, but good for what it was. Definitely has the dark scary feel and atmosphere, but doesn’t quite have the “escape room” feel as much as we’d have hoped. Fun and family friendly though. This is geared more towards the haunted scary aspect of the rooms, rather than in-depth puzzles and progressive clues. Nevertheless, we had fun.

Dan P: We were visiting the area and we chose to do the 1776 room due to my being a history buff (you don't need any historical knowledge to complete). Aesthetically the room was awesome. However some of the puzzles are quite a bit of a reach. They also don't provide a pad to keep notes or do work. Most rooms give you a white board and a calculator in case you need to keep notes or do math. This room does neither so be prepared to do everything in your head. Friendly staff overall and we made it out of the room at the last second so we'd definitely come back again.
Holly Willmann: We had fun! Some of the locks didn't work correctly but we were given extra time to compensate.
Jeff: Great time in the Night at the Castle with our kids. The room had great props and puzzles and an authentic theme. Mason was a terrific host and we look forward to coming back again.

Michael Wolsiefer: We had a lot of fun here. Family of seven, age ranges of children seven to fourteen. It was decently priced, clean, instructions were clear. The Titanic room was themed wonderfully. I would love to go back again and try a more difficult room.
Nancy Bowers (Sunshine): We had a blast at The Escape Room in Fishers, In with our 20 year old son and all of his friends! If you’re looking for something different to do then I highly recommend trying it out! Keep in mind that we had to climb ladders, fit in smaller places etc so if you have older people and/or you suffer from any physical ailment, you might want to pass. Before you do however you might want to at least let the facility know as they do have different rooms.

Sam Karras: Was unable to play a room because the front desk lady was not at the front desk in time. Is what it is but it didn't make much sense to me. She was very nice but it did throw off our day that we worked around the activity.

MC Wrap: Fantastic experience! We went to Escape-Indy for a work team building activity and had a blast! Check-in was easy, the facility was on time and prepared for our arrival, equipped to accommodate COVID precautions, and the atmosphere was inviting. Our instructor was helpful, fun, and friendly. Restroom was clean. Would highly recommend-- so much fun!
